Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Slow service waited 15 minutes for server. Only when I asked for one. Typical.

The 8 ounce filet mignon was expertly cut from a loin so it is cut fresh. I ordered mine cooked medium the steak was prepared expertly and cooked to perfection I have had steaks at Morton's and Ruth's Chris Steak House and they do not even come close to this steak. Rachel was our server and she was fabulous very attentive never letting the glasses get empty. It was so good it will make you wanna slap yo mama. For dessert I had the Italian lemon cream cake it was white and fluffy with a hint of lemon zest and very creamy. This was served with an after-dinner coffee a dark roast version of a Vienna blend it was not bitter with a hint of a spicy note with cream it was the perfect after dinner drink. This particular dessert is so tasty it will make your tongue lick the side of your face so hard it will slap your brains out.

Enjoyed my visit. The food, presentation and service were all great. Looking forward to another visit.

Wixom Station gets 2 stars because their spinach and artichoke dip was their redeeming quality. Otherwise my lunch was absolutely awful. I ordered the tilapia diane and it was terrible. The tilapia had an overly fishy taste and didn't seem fresh. Worse yet was the rice. I'm not sure if this is how the normally serve it or if something was wrong with mine but it has to be one of the most revolting things i've ever had at a restaurant. It tasted like burnt plastic with a sweet element that was just unpalatable. I ended up only eating a few bites of my meal and filling up on the spinach and artichoke dip instead. I can't say i'll be returning to Wixom Station because this experience was just bad.

I like this place. It's cute, though the decor is a little confusing. The train station themed accents and light fixtures are super cute. The animal carcasses on the wall, not so great. We're they hit by trains?? We've been numerous times now and have always left full and satisfied. The service has always been great, very pleasant and attentive waitstaff. They've been very tolerant of our one year old daughter as well. Hostess lacked personality on our last visit and seemed annoyed that she had to get us a highchair. Update on our last visit we had a very sweet and accommodating hostess. So far we've tried the fried pickles (strips are unusual but awesome), artichoke dip (not the best we've had but the house made tortilla is very good), fish and chips which is a huge portion and the best in the area in my opinion, lobster ravioli (super rich), spare ribs and onion rings, pesto pasta. Everything is very tasty, though pricey. I love that you get a bread basket, so few places do this anymore and it's such good bread, great accompaniment to the pasta dishes. The house salad that comes with the entrees is really nice also with fresh greens and crisp fresh veggies. The Caesar salad is very good as well. Recently tried the tortellini, chicken piccata and fried mushrooms. The mushrooms were the stand out. We figure they lightly roast the mushrooms before battering them and the result is amazing. The mushrooms are juicy and so full of flavor while the batter remained crispy and not at all soggy. Overall the experience is a pleasant one. The food is very good, service is great and atmosphere is pleasant. The one thing keeping it from five stars from me is the price. It is pretty expensive for the area and therefore not a place we put into our regular rotation. Reserved for special occasions, it's a good choice for our family.

Good food, good service. All the stuffed dead animals on the walls creep me out. A couple of deer heads is one thing, but a wild boar? What does that have to do with the train theme? I doubt if I'll be back.

Been here a few times now. Everything I've tried has been pretty good. Doesn't blow you out of the water. Drinks are good. The decor is nice. Great for a family dinner.

After reading the varied reviews I decided to try the restaurant out with a group of friends. We found the experience quite pleasant although it was quite crowded on a Thursday night. The good thing was that did not impact the level and quality of Service. Good tap micro brew selection. Had the Perch with garlic mashed potatoes it was very good and competitively priced. Others in my party liked their food as well. Definitely will go back again to try out other menu items.

Ok, just like everybody else, I really wanted to like this place. Wixom is starving for a more bustling downtown with great restaurants. But overall Wixom Station is quite average. It's essentially a pricier 'Rusty Bucket' restaurant with a little worse food. Ambience: 4. Nice theme with the trains. Going for a little trendier look, Edison bulbs and all. Not bad. Felt cozy and good outdoor seating. Quick seating for us on a Saturday night around 7:30. Service: 4. Again, seating was prompt with smiling girls at the door. Server was attentive but complained a bit of being tired. I don't mind the friendliness and 'camaraderie' of that approach, but it doesn't earn you stars for professionalism. Food/drinks: 2-3. 2 because I've been there twice and I wouldn't order the same food again. Had the burger (looked and tasted like a frozen Bubba burger), and the wings were maybe 3 star wings, but 10 wings for $11 come on! My wife had the chicken Parmesan and liked it a lot. But again, $16.50? Just too pricey. That's the theme here. Average food that's too expensive. As far as drinks, only 7 beers on tap and this was the second time the beer menu was not updated with the current beer selection. Not a big deal if you only have 7 to choose from, but I feel like nowadays you've got to have more to compete. Price/Value: 2. This really is the issue. I can put up with average food, but just like everyone else's complaints here on yelp, everything is just a few dollars more expensive than it should be: $11 for 10 wings, $16.50 for chicken parm, $7 Pilsner! The salad was a bit small for its price too. Just enough negatives to make me wish there was another go to. I see the manager comments on these many posts, hopefully they implement some changes based on the feedback.

Had a wonderful experience at the Wixom Station on Monday. Started out with deep fried mushrooms (fresh and lightly battered). Caesar salad was great with the house made dressing and oh yeah... they make there own bread sticks from scratch and was very delicious. The entrée was fish and chips, lightly battered cod that was cooked perfect with a side of fries. The atmosphere was very family oriented and cozy. The staff was wonderful and provided a warm friendly service that any family would love. The menu has Italian, seafood, chicken, steaks, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, salads and oh boy... the best fresh bread sticks in Wixom. Overall, the Wixom station is going to be a great place to meet up with friends and family to enjoy an evening out.

We had dinner here with some good friends and had a great time. The ambience is really nice with the hanging trains and the clock wall. We tried the pastas, sandwiches, salads, the spinach artichoke dip and a couple of desserts. Good reviews on the food from the table. My favorite was the lemon Italian creme cake..delicious!!!!!
(4)Matthew B.
This is a new, nicely remodeled restaurant with a very simple but well done menu. I had the fish and chips and my wife had a salad and we were pleased with both. The bar area is very nice as well and the outdoor area appears to be very useful when the weather is just a bit warmer.
(5)Andi R.
Sunday prime rib dinners here are great! Nice house salad as well (mixed greens, not just iceberg lettuce). Service is good and there's a nice selection of beer and liquor. Get the Spinach Artichoke Dip! The pizza is pretty mediocre though... the crust is extremely similar to a supermarket Tombstone brand frozen pizza (fresher toppings though). Decor/ambiance is nice. Casual, but the theme is well done. The photos on Yelp make it look more kitschy and dated - but it's actually very nice inside.

Not an entirely positive experience, but not the worst either.. A plus and minus here and there.. Always looking for something new and unique, I was glad to see this place open in the little downtown Wixom area.. I decided my boyfriend's birthday would be a great opportunity. We pulled into the parking lot and literally got the last parking spot in the back. We were worried there might be a huge wait and almost went elsewhere. Well, much to our surprise, the place wasn't even half full! There obviously isn't enough parking available. Once inside, we were immediately seated in the dining area which includes booths, wooden tables and chairs standard, and the wooden high top tables and chairs. We chose a high top in the corner for privacy. You may want a different table, this one wobbles quite a bit.. There was an odd odor that dissipated after we were there for a few minutes..kind of like a dirty dishrag. Maybe it was my imagination..dunno.. You can also sit on the other side of the restaurant, the bar area. They serve all tables water in rock glasses, no ice..accompanied by a large bottle of water - the one brought to our table was not at all chilled. Still keeping an open mind..we ordered two appetizers to split among 3 people, more than enough. The eggplant was accompanied with a palomino type sauce, it was good. The spinach dip came the most amazing tortillas. I would go back just for the tortillas!! Warm and soft but substantial enough to hold the dip. We like to pace ourselves and not order everything all at once, our waitress kept asking if we were ready to order. We finally told her we were in no hurry. We were concerned when our waitress took our order and didn't write it down...worried because she told us it was her 3rd day.. She was the type that when you ask about the menu, she says everything is good..but after asking what she has actually eaten, it's like only 3 or 4 things. When she brought our food, she did forget a couple things that we had to remind her of. My bf ordered the filet, he liked it but said the rice it came with was oily and bland. The rest of us had burgers and they were decent. The burger comes with fries, but don't expect a generous portion. We both commented on how little of fries we were given..perhaps they were running low? Drinks are pricey. I ordered a top shelf Long Island for $12.00. It was very Coke-y and I doubt top shelf. I didn't order another. It would of been nice to have my bf's birthday acknowledged...no singing and clapping, maybe a scoop of ice cream or something to share.. I'll give it another chance, but I'm not running back soon.

The food was very good though a little costly. We had the calamari appetizer with dipping sauce on the side. For the main course we each had the full rack of ribs. I had sauce on the side of mine. The ribs were good and the sauce made it better. Check out the photos.

The train is in motion. Ambience 3.5: the ambience is nice. It has ornamental trains hanging from the ceiling and TV's scattered around the restaurant/bar. The eating area is large and it has a nice size bar. It seems to have a minor identity crisis. This may be due to some of the previous decorations left over from the valore but it comes across as a fancy restaurant with a sports bar feel. Food/drinks 3: I am a bit of a beer highbrow, so I found the beer selection to be only average. With all the latest restaurants opening up with a large craft beer selection, I was slightly disappointed with the draft beer list. Maybe my expectations are too high. Having said that, they had a fairly good whiskey selection, which I liked. I ordered the steak bites and my son ordered the filet. He ate the entire filet and seemed be fairly happy with it. My steak bites were ok, nothing spectacular. They were prepared pretty good but seemed a little rubbery. I am used to them being bathed in zip and/or garlic sauce, these were with mushrooms and peppers, which is how it was described but personally not to my taste. Service 4: I recieved very good service. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. She was always close by but not intrusive. Overall 3.5: this is my second time here and overall I had pleasant experiences. I wouldn't highly recommended but as a local spot it's ok.

Amazing food and atmosphere! Every time I go there everyone is so nice and helpful ! I eat there 4x a week at least!

We were going to head to Benstein Grill but someone said to try this place. Sat at the bar as we usually do. Seats were rather uncomfortable and I hate bars with a big lip where your arms rest. The drinks were good and the artichoke dip was very good. That is about it. My fish tacos were average and my wife's chicken dish was inedible and priced very high for the two thin strips she received. I actually think they were pre cooked and the mushrooms looks like they were from a can. So this is where a good restaurant rises or falls. We asked for the manager and she was very rude. She looked at us like we were aliens and then started saying "this is one of our best dishes". Um obviously not for us. She said sorry and left. Then out of nowhere came back with one price of chicken and said "try this, it's fresh". We were already pissed so we said no thanks. She did take off the bill. No need to ever go back. Service and quality are key component to success people!!

My family and I stopped in here on Monday night for a birthday dinner. I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant overall and our waitress was very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. We ordered three appetizers to start - Shrimp Giuseppi, Shoestring Potatoes (sweet potato fry/regular fry combo) and steak bites. LOVED the steak bites! Potatoes were good, shrimp was ALMOST there...I found them to be extremely salty. I ordered the flat iron steak cooked medium. I ate about half of the steak before I realized that only half of it was cooked to medium, with the other half closer to rare/medium rare. I chose the house salad while the rest of my table chose the caesar...they made the better choice. My meal also came with two sides of vegetables and mashed potatoes, both of which I enjoyed. Overall I feel like my meal had a lot of potential, but there were just a few things here and there that prevented it from really blowing me away. I'm hoping it was just one of those "off days"!! I'd be willing to give it another shot - maybe on a busy weekend night instead.

Neat atmosphere. 2 stars for over priced mediocre food. Ate here 3 times, doubtful there will be a 4th.

My boyfriend and I decided to finally try this place out since we pass by so often. Yesterday after our park trip at around 5pm-ish we headed in. I thought it was going to be busy inside but really it wasn't, the parking lot is just small. The two seating hostesses and waitresses were all crammed in the front area along with whom I think was the lady manager. They were so frantic (for no reason) and were completely unorganized. We had to wait for several waitresses to move out of the way before asking to be seated. We even had to ask to be seated in the patio area because the hostess failed to ask which area we preferred. After sitting down and looking at the menu (which in my opinion was completely over priced for a non high-end restaurant) we didn't seem to have a designated waitress. The lady whom I think is the manager came up and asked if we had been served yet, we told her no and she promptly sent a waitress to serve us. We put our drink orders in and I asked if they served Mojitos, if so, I'd like one. She hesitated and then said yes. We received our drinks and a cute tall glass bottle of water (which was never refilled or replaced when we quickly finished it). My Mojito was not appealing. It didn't taste like a normal Mojito. And the leaves inside were all half blackened. I decided to eat one because it didn't look like mint, turns out it was basil leaves that they used... I wouldn't have ordered the drink if I knew they didn't have the proper ingredients to make it. I left it on the table and hardly touched it. My boyfriend ordered a steak dinner and I ordered the chicken skewer. Again, I think $16 for 1 skewer of chicken with a little rice and green beans is way too expensive but the quality of my food was great. I enjoyed my food. My boyfriend on the other hand couldn't eat all of his steak, he did say they cooked it to his liking. There was a good portion left on the plate because it was all fat. In my opinion, if you're paying over $20 for a piece of steak, I would expect to be able to eat it all, if not MOST of it. Their house bread was delicious! We ended up paying $60 for just the two of us. Again, I don't think a place like this should be so pricy. It's decorated nicely but it smells like a thrift store inside, even though we were sitting in the patio area. The waitresses wear plaid shirts like they work at a Roadhouse. Our water and my boyfriends coke were never refilled. Overall experience was okay. I don't think we will be going back simply because of the service and price. The food was delicious so I give props to the kitchen. I expected more out of the atmosphere because of their high prices. I was wearing jeans and a tshirt and my boyfriend was wearing basketball shorts and a tshirt. I was worried we would be terribly underdressed but I was completely wrong! I give two stars because our food was the only good experience we had. I have mixed feelings about this place.
(2)Jim D.
We had flatiron steak, roasted chicken and fish tacos. Everything was tasty. Service was effective and allowed us to enjoy our dinner. Overall a good dining experience. With this addition has Wixom become a dinning destination?
(3)Jeff M.
Been here a couple times now. Nice atmosphere, good food. I'm a fan. It's a little pricy for what you get in my opinion, but still, very good food.
(4)Ashley M.
This place is a nice addition. The Rosemary chicken was delicious and the breadsticks were amazing. The only gripe is the price. $14 for chicken strips and fries. $2 to add broccoli to your pasta. I would return though.
(4)Kelly J.
Sad to say that I went to Wixom Station for the first time yesterday and it was mediocre at best. The service itself was good...we had an attentive waitress who was training another waitress and they did a great job. I ordered the "special" salad- a greens salad with mahi mahi, fresh strawberries, fresh nectarines, almonds and feta with a raspberry dressing for $13.00. Greens were wilted and some seemed downright old and shriveled up, mahi mahi was very small and I had to "work around" the bad parts of the fish (which should have been taken out by kitchen before preparation/serving) which left not much good fish to speak of. Fruit was tasty and fresh on the salad. Didn't see any feta cheese at all on salad and raspberry dressing was nothing to write home about. Too thick and sugary for my liking. If I had been there with my husband, I probably would have sent it back, but I was lunching with other women and didn't feel it was appropriate to make a scene. At the end of the meal, I learned that neither of my other friends were "wowed" by their meals either. Went to the ladies room after my meal and two out of the three stalls had no hook for my purse. That was the final straw for me. Won't be going back.
(1)Diamond I.
This was awful food was terrible service was horrible I would never go back again. The staff was so rude food was undercooked and I found some kind of foreign object in my food. Sorry place is a joke.
(1)Justin V.
First review! Place blew away my expectations. Service was non stop, but not invasive. We had the spinach dip to start, which came with big fluffy tortilla chips, and the dip was creamy and satisfying. My chicken parmesan was top notch, as well as the Tortellini. Desserts were also great, cheesecake and tiramisu. Will be returning here for sure. Everybody was super friendly.
(5)Scott D.
Great Place. If you have not been there since they opened, give em a try (if you have, try em again). They have worked out the bugs. All of us had an excellent meal, Ribs, Pasts, and steaks were all fantastic. Great little place in Wixom.
(4)Tehva F.
Descent sized alcohol menu. Okay food menu, I ordered a pasta and it was no were near luke warm, most had been sitting on the plate for many hours before it got to me.
(3)John M.
Terrible food. Chicken with grilled chicken salad looked slimy and for sure was precooked out of a box. It is a shame because the atmosphere was great. I would simply go back for drinks and nothing else in the future.
(2)Sam C.
I really want to love this place!! The decor and atmosphere is great! The spinach and artichoke dip and breadsticks are fantastic! Highly recommend! First time I was here I got the fish and chips. They were some of the best I've had. There are several items on the menu that you should avoid. Their rice is not so good... If I was the chef, I would seriously reconsider this recipe. Also, last time I was here my boyfriend ordered one of the daily specials which was a parmesan crusted white fish. It was not cooked thoroughly and smelled horrible. I'm pretty sure the fish was bad. Disappointing. Like I said, I really want to love this place!I think they need to reconsider some of the menu options and refresh their chefs/cooks on proper cooking methods.
(3)Carlenne J.
We tried this newest addition to downtown Wixom. Mixed reaction from my group. I had the tomato basil soup to start - very good. Had the fish tacos and they were great! Grilled fish and nice slaw (without the heavy cream dressing) with green salsa on the side. My only suggestion would be to offer corn tortillas, as their menu mentions GF options. Now, we sat in the bar area and the bartender was our server, and that might explain some of this. Those of us who ordered soup were served the soup before the entree, as expected. Those who ordered salad (small salad before entree) received their salad with their entree. Next time will make sure to specify we would like salads before entree. However, server did say the kitchen got behind with salads, so who knows. Other comments from my group: Steak sandwich was served on a mushy roll. Regular fries were great! Shoestring fries were not. Seared Cajun Filet Salad was good, but dressing was almost entirely oil and served in a black plastic cup so hard to see how much oil vs. vinegar. Lobster Ravioli was bad. Sauce was sweet. Menu says that adding a salad to the entree is $2.50(+/-) but doesn't say that it means only a basic green salad so we caused a bit of trouble by ordering Greek and Caesar salads, which the kitchen handled very well and worked out a nice compromise with fries so the orders made sense. Breadsticks were fantastic! Overall, we will be back. I'm sure any kinks will be worked out and changes made as they go. Everyone was very accommodating and helpful and interested in giving us a good dining experience.
(4)Anthony H.
Ate here last night and loved the food. The drink selection isn't a beer advocate's dream, but it was decent. Liquor drinks were poured good and my steak was cooked to my satisfaction. Ambiance is great as well. I live close enough to walk here, so that is part of the reason I give it such a high rating. Love that DT Wixom keeps adding great options for dining. We had our son with us who is 5months and it wasnt too overwhelming for him either.
(5)Rick M.
My wife and I have dined at Wixom Station at least 4 times and enjoyed our meals. I recommend the Talapia Diane. The Caesar Salad is also very good, although the addition of optional anchovies would be beneficial. The ambience with the train theme is very nice. The staff we have encountered have been helpful, professional and happy, which is always a plus in dining. Wixom Station is now one of our go to restaurants.
(4)Sahel B.
My boyfriend and I decided to check this place out last night, and keep in mind we go out to eat about 5 times a week and try new places all the time. We had an awesome experience with the food and the service. We started with martinis and two appetizers (fried pickle and eggplant diablo) and they were great!! For dinner I got a burger which was really juicy and tasty and it came with a good portion of side fries. My boyfreind got the NY steak that was done perfectly just like he asked. The steak also came with side of fresh garlic mash potatoes that was out of this world! Hands down the best mash potatoes I've ever had!! Overall I had an amazing experience and I can't wait to go back.

My friend and I decided to try this restaurant for lunch on a weekday as we were excited to have a new restaurant in town. Unfortunately, this did not meet our expectations. The waitress seemed annoyed with us just for coming in. After a few minutes she came to take our order. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and it came out 20 minutes later and was just sub-par. It seemed like the kitchen just slapped something together, not a good presentation, and not a good impression on me. The lettuce was actually wilted so I took it out, bread was super soggy too. Fries were not even crunchy. My friend's dish was also so-so and just mediocre. We both agreed we wouldn't like to come back based on our first impression of the place and it's too bad because we had such high hopes too...
(2)Terra B.
The food was awesome but in side it's to dark and very loud and waiters there are not to friendly. They give you your food and check on you and get your bill to you. If I come here agin I will have it to go. The lady at the door was showing to much chest and had a tattoo show it off we lift full but not happy the way things went.
(1)David B.
Came in with my family- 2 adults, 2 kids. The atmosphere was great. Love the trains. Extremely friendly staff. I had the flat iron steak, which was grilled just how I asked for. The vegetables and potatoes were splendid- the asparagus still crisp and not overcooked. Oh, and another thing: Bells Two-hearted on tap! This place made a brilliant first impression. We'll be back!

I met a girlfriend here for lunch one day, and then ordered carry out another evening, and it was all fine. That's the best way I have of describing the place...food was fine...some of it was actually good, the spinach artichoke dip comes with this warm pita bread that is really good. My friend said her soup was good...my salad could have been good, but when they say served with balsamic, they actually mean served with only balsamic...perhaps turning that into a vinaigrette would be better. The service was fine. Atmosphere...fine. I mean...it is what it is. It seems to be lacking in direction; which is fine if you're looking for a normal restaurant...which we don't have a lot of around here; however I prefer a place that has a little identity or pizazz. This place has neither. With that being said, I have no real complaints other than the dressing either.

At the end of the meal, I learned that neither of my other friends were "wowed" by their meals either. Went to the ladies room after my meal and two out of the three stalls had no hook for my purse. That was the final straw for me. Won't be going back.

Excellent place, came on a Friday night! Got table fast. Waitress rocked, was right there. Food was excellent. Had fish and chips, comes with a salad. Salad was great. Had a sidecar drink, was made so good. Usually when I order this, it's never made right, always leave disappointed. I was not disappointed one bit. Will be back. Great date night place.

Excellent food and drinks!! We have been here several times and continue to come back. Prices are a tad high but worth it when it comes with salad and breadsticks. Most restaurants you pay extra for this. The spinach and artichoke dip is a must try! Have stopped in with my hubby several times just for a beer and the amazing spinach dip! One suggestion is to bring the water glasses with ice but that is just my preference

Sorry guys... Was really hoping to like this place since it has a nice theme and atmosphere. Waited about 30 min for our table to find out the hostess crossed us off the list while we were standing right in front. Then, the clam chowder was über salty... At least it was hot. Not much I can say for my well done, cold filet salad with rotten (stem attached) avocado and missing Gorgonzola cheese. The 45 min wait for this was definitely necessary also. Who takes 45 minutes to make a salad... Honestly. Maybe I'll give this place another shot, but I think I'll stick to the alcohol and appetizers.

Good atmosphere it is clean and tables are spread out. Variety on menu and attentive service.

I was slightly disappointed by this place, especially since we live so close. We were really hoping for a great draft beer selection but they only have a few, nothing you can't order somewhere else. My first impression was that the menu was a bit pricey. We started with the fried pickles and they were nothing special. For entrees we ordered the burger and filet salad. The burger was actually very tasty. The salad was good but for $14 I wouldn't order it again. The few bites of filet it did have were cooked well done. I was hoping to see a happy hour sometime so we wouldn't have to drive into Novi.

This is a new, nicely remodeled restaurant with a very simple but well done menu. I had the fish and chips and my wife had a salad and we were pleased with both. The bar area is very nice as well and the outdoor area appears to be very useful when the weather is just a bit warmer.

This was awful food was terrible service was horrible I would never go back again. The staff was so rude food was undercooked and I found some kind of foreign object in my food. Sorry place is a joke.

Went here for dinner with the family to celebrate a birthday. The service was wonderful - our waitress was really friendly and helpful. I liked the atmosphere and the setup of the restaurant. Recommend: the spinach dip - the homemade bread crisps are awesome! Stay away from: the pizza. It was terrible. It kind of tasted like frozen pizza. I've actually had frozen pizza that was better than this. The pizza came out and it wasn't cooked enough, nor warm enough. It was really disappointing. I'd go back and try something else. Everyone else in my party appeared to like the restaurant. Overall just pretty average.

(3)Connie Jo O.
Good food, good service. All the stuffed dead animals on the walls creep me out. A couple of deer heads is one thing, but a wild boar? What does that have to do with the train theme? I doubt if I'll be back.
(3)Morgan A.
Been here a few times now. Everything I've tried has been pretty good. Doesn't blow you out of the water. Drinks are good. The decor is nice. Great for a family dinner.

(4)Andi R.

We were here on Sunday afternoon to have late lunch. First of all the waiter took our order wrong. Then it took him 10 min to bring the pizza. The steak pieces on top were raw and there was blood all over the pizza bread. We asked him to ask the chef to cook it again. When the pizza was back the meat was cooked but the whole pizza bread was ruined! Wet and kind of fell apart! Our Sunday lunch was ruined and we will never go back to Wixomstation!

(4)Justin V.

Excellent place, came on a Friday night! Got table fast. Waitress rocked, was right there. Food was excellent. Had fish and chips, comes with a salad. Salad was great.
