My husband and I eat here more often than I'd like to admit but we've been ordering from here regularly for the last 4 years. We have NEVER had an issue with our food or our order. The actual restaurant is run down but don't let that stop you from ordering. The food is fantastic!

The owners were screaming (yes screaming) at each other the entire time we sat down and waited for our food. Their 4 children were sitting near us and they thought nothing of them fighting. That tells you something. Glad we got takeout. We would have walked out, but we already paid. The chicken (or whatever that was) in the pad Thai was weird and the meal was just nasty tasting. I have had way better elsewhere. We also got some dragon Phoenix meal that wasn't great. Half watery on one side of the dish and weird tasting chicken. I will not come back to this place unless nothing else is open. Even then, I would rather eat something out of a can in the pantry. I don't see myself being that desperate for takeout that I need to resort to eating at this place ever again. Worst food ever. We gave it to the dog to eat. She probably loved it, but she eats cat shit and other nasty things.

If your looking for a place to go that will make every other dirty dive Chinese food restaurant seem like a 5 star experience you are in luck my friend you have found it! What a dump I knew better just walking in but I was to lazy and hungry to keep looking. They had their10 year old running the register and watching her 3 younger little curtain climbers while Mom and Dad were in back fighting like they were at war I don't speak the Chinese but it sounded to me like war was declared and she was getting ready kamikaze drag his ass into the deep frier. So then theres the food gross mushy nasty pile of God know what I don't want to even try the fortune cookie!! Be afraid be very AFRAID........

We went on a nice quiet Sunday afternoon. Quick service, great value, large portions. A little on the bland side.

Some of the best Chinese food I've had in a long time. Egg roll on the small side but their chicken was so tender it totally made up for it. I had the burbon chicken and loved it.

OK, so I was too scared to try this place because of bad reviews on Yelp. Then I heard from somebody I know that he tried this restaurant and that the food was decent. Since then, I have tried the place a few times and I have to say it is not the worst Chinese place I've seen. In fact the price is good and the food is above average. I enjoyed their dumpling and fried rice very much.

We live not too far away and have driven past multiple times. Although the place is not much to look at, we decided to give it a go. We had the general tso's chicken with house fried rice and all we could say was wow! The chicken was fantastic, cooked nice and crispy instead of being soggy like most places. The sauce was delicious, good tangy flavor with a bit of a kick at the end. The rice was also very good and wasn't too greasy like most fried rice. Finally, the price. Extremely cheap for how much food you get. We payed about $13 total for two meals and drinks which fed both of us AND left overs. Needless to say this is our new choice of Chinese.

my wife and I tried this place out today while driving around Wixom. I had driven by many times and never bothered to venture in. On Pontiac Trail side looks like there's a door but sign says to go in the back. Swing around the block and in the back is full lot and what looks like the Front of the various stores on this strip. Upon 1st inspection the place is a hole in the wall - the decor is dated as are the photos of various Chinese dishes. It all looks familiar tho. My wife and I ordered a sample of different items from their menu - for me - quart mongolian beef, extra spicy. small egg drop soup. and fried dumplings. - for my wife - quart vegetable egg foo young. general tso's chicken combo w/ egg roll and fried rice. The price seemed decent - for 3 dinners with appetizer and soup to go was only $27. We waited only about 12minutes or so. When we got home we sorted out everything. at first look my mongolian beef was abound in veges - more veges in my opinion that any mongolian beef should have. however it did present a good thick sauce and it smelled spicy. upon first taste the spice seemed almost enough. frankly they could of made it spicier. personally - it could of done without the peapods, carrot, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, and celery. It was however in my opinion seriously needing mushrooms and onions. Oh well. I think I know why they threw all those veges in - to make the portion size seem big enough. the egg drop soup was perfect - not too thick, just enough seasoning, not too much egg. the dumplings were tiny - for $4.25 you get 8. but boy they were small. they resembled more like Dim Sum to me and upon tasting almost tasted doughy... they were not cooked all the way... I had to take em and pan fry them a little longer... also flavor wise They needed help. My wife loves Egg Foo Young. I cannot stand it regardless who makes it so I had to ask here what she thought. She said she was saving it for later so I have no clue if she liked it or not. She did tell me it looked good and they gave her 3 patties. We tasted the general tso chicken and were happy it was white meat. the sauce was closer to a sweet sauce and reminded me of a Cantonese flavor dish I've had elsewhere. The killer though was the fried rice - IT was plain - nothing in it - not even annoying peas & carrots. It had NO flavor at all. My wife separated the Fried Rice and put it in a sautee pan and Re-Fried it with some Seasonings. I can definitely go back there next time I am in the area. I will have to remember to make sure the items I get are well seasoned. They Lose a star because we had to Re-cook some of the food.

I have eaten there many times. It is consistent, they are nice people and it tastes good. This is not gourmet Chinese obviously but more the fast Chinese variety. For that purpose it is awesome and amazing value.

The food here is good and I've actually traveled miles because I really like their sweet & sour pork. I've never had a problem with the service here either. Why the one star? Today while eating my sweet & sour pork, I found what appears to be a clipped fingernail in the pork. I'm not going back.

Wow... That was the worst Chinese food I've ever had. The broccoli with garlic sauce for my wife was total mush, the sesame chicken for my son was very low grade dark meat pieces of whatever it was, the fried rice had nothing in it but rice and soy sauce, and the Hunan chicken was tasteless with the wrong veggies specified. Now with that being said, I have been coming here since they opened and the food has progressively been going downhill. I thought since it has been a while I would give them another shot. Well that is that. I will never be going back. Take your money next door to Jets. At least the food will be edible. It was so bad that my dog wouldn't even eat it. That is all.

Wonderful food and very nice people. I use it often for carryout. Very fast service and prices are good too. Of the 3 local Chinese restaurants I prefer China Garden even though it is the furthest from my home.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
