Overhyped reviews. Place closes at 2pm and stops serving breakfast at noon. The food was nothing to talk about. The place was dirty and run down. Won't be returning.

Love, love, love the breakfast!!! Absolutely the best pancakes on the planet!!! We used to live in Williamston. Now we live in TX. We have yet to find another pancake as good as those at Sunnyside. Whenever we travel back to MI, we make a trip to Sunnyside!

Went for first time based on reviews. Server did a good job of taking my order , as evidenced on check, but cook did not follow through. I received American cheese rather than the cheddar I ordered and the hash brows were lightly cooked rather than the crispy that I ordered. Not likely to return.

This place us amazing!! It's a great family owned business with great food at reasonable prices. It is a staple in Williamston.

Great home style breakfast. You can get a little or a lot of food depending how hungry you are. Had the hash which was very good, just the right amount of seasoning. The owners are from ohio and have some OSU stuff on the walls which is cool to see! Will definitely be going back.

Sunnyside was one of the first restaurants to open as non-smoking in Williamston. They quickly attracted a great staff and employee a number of students who are working their first jobs. This is a great place to swing by for breakfast or lunch - the food is very good, the staff is always friendly and I have yet to have a bad service. Keep up the great work Sunnyside!

I LOVE this place. Such great food and amazing staff. The servers have been there a long time and know most repeat customers. A great place to go for breakfast or lunch.

Despite being listed as a breakfast and brunch place they do NOT serve breakfast after noon on weekdays! They do not have this info posted on their Facebook or Yelp page and we just wasted a 30 minute drive. We'll stick with Roxy's Cafe or Golden Harvest when we want a killer breakfast. We won't be back here.

Great Food, Price, Employees and Atmosphere! My family has eaten here over a dozen times now. Well worth the trip for us as we pass thru Williamston on Grand River. Highly recommend this restaurant over any other in the area!

I am writing this as I endured possibly the worst waitress staffing attitude I've encountered. My husband and I are new to the town and stopped in due to the great reviews we've seen. We are both almost 30 and graduate students (although age should never be a reason for poor service). From the time we arrived, our waitress was abrupt, cold, and never made eye contact with us. We figured it was maybe that she was this way with everyone, until we noticed that she was friendly and outgoing with all other tables besides us. She never came to ask how our meal was (my pancakes were ice cold) nor made eye contact once the entire visit. She blankly stared out the window while taking our orders. She then came back to the table and picked up her receipt showing her tip before we even left the table. My husband and I have never been treated so poorly and we will never return to this restaurant nor recommend it to anyone.
