Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

I have no idea what the other reviewers were thinking here. There are FAR better Thai options within a comfortable driving distance. Lai Thai in Canton anyone? I'm basing this review on two very poor experiences. The first time I ordered here I had the Tom Yum Soup and Pad Prik with beef. Big mistake. The Tom Kah tasted like water mixed with Lemon Grass and a little bit of fish oil. No chili paste was present and there were very few edibles in the soup. No mushrooms, a few measly pieces of chicken and minimal flavor. I was done after about two bites. I ordered the Pad Prik hot. The heat was the only thing about the meal that was correct. They didn't add the bell peppers, and the brown sauce was seriously lacking in the flavor department. No control over the actual flavor of the sauce. It was ALL heat, which as I'm sure you can imagine doesn't make for a pleasant experience. When I have Thai, I want the flavors to do a dance. This was crushed red pepper kicking overcooked beef in the balls. The second experience with Thai City was far worse. My wife had a craving for Pad Thai fast. So, I chanced them again and regretted the decision. Once we got the food home, I found no less than four hairs in my Pad Cashew. Ordered it medium this time and still could taste no flavors. It was among the worst prepared Thai meals I've ever had. I hate to knock a local business, but every time I've been here I've been disappointed. Clearly something is amiss here.

The food is not bad, however I doesnt taste like Authentic Thai food. I got the fried rice with chicken, and it just tasted like regular chinese rice with chicken breast cut up in it. I asked for medium plus spice and it was not spicy at all, in fact , i had to drain it in soy sauce because it wasnt to flavorful, my husband had the drunken noodles with chicken.. and again no flavor!! he ordered his spice hot and it was not spicy at all... I wont be going here again!! If you have a taste for authentic thai food.. this is not the place to go!!

They purchased the space next door (they are in a strip mall) and this allowed them to expand and create a much more pleasant dining experience. (before it was cramped). The food is AWESOME, the portions are MASSIVE, and price is at parity. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Speed of Service; with 1 being insanely slow and 10 being incredibly fast is about 8 Definitely one of my favs to the point I think I might go there tonight for dinner! PS: Great egg rolls, the plumb sauce rocks! Try the General's Tso Chicken!

Not bad. I've dedicatedly had better Thai food. But, for the price range, I'd consider it a solid 3 stars

Best gang gai ever! Good sized serving, always lots of shrimp or protein. Love that they still serve complimentary shrimp chips! I've tried the pad Thai and some of the Chinese dishes- all good, all huge portions. Price is very reasonable. I used to work around here and ordered take out often. Moved away 4 years ago and I stop in 1-2x a year and the waitress always remembers me and my order. Cute restaurant. Nice staff.

The amount of food you get here is quite worth the price. The wonton soup was very flavorful; I love how they added vegetables and pork slices in the soup. The chicken and broccoli dish was really good too. The chicken egg rolls were a good appetizer dish, crispy and delicious! Had enough to eat there and was able to take the leftovers home for another meal.

My absolute favorite place to eat in the whole area. The portions are very generous and the food is scrumptious. My favorite dish is Thai Peanut Curry, I like to order it with tofu. Most dishes you can substitute tofu, an option I appreciate. The Pad Thai and Singapore Rice Noodles are also standouts.

Dukedom granted! Happened on this place by chance (we were going to a restaurant that was inexplicably closed). This review only pertains to take out. AMBIANCE: The place isn't too big, maybe about 10-12 tables at most. The place isn't overly done up, but it's clean. The 2 times I've been here there haven't been too many people here, though I've gone on a Tuesday and a Wed. so that's not too surprising. MENU: As one might guess, they have your typical Thai food fare. They have your curries (panang, masaman) and noodles (pad thai, pad see euw), and some stir fries. They also do Chinese food (Americanized). They have combos for lunch and dinner, though the dinner combos are primarily Chinese food combos. FOOD: We've tried their green and red curries (chicken and mixed seafood). Both lacked flavor, though I'm not sure if that's due to the fact that we ordered them "mild." The Pad Thai had a mild sweetness which my wife seemed to like, but I thought it was a bit off. The Chinese food we tried, Lo Mein and ABC (I'm ashamed, but who doesn't love fried chicken with gravy) was tasty and bountiful. We fed 5 people for 2 days with 4 dishes. OVERALL- not the greatest Thai/Chinese, but not bad for the area. Not sure if I'd go out of my way to get it, but certainly not bad if you happen to be in the area. CELEBRITY RATING- Jeremy Lin

Let me just 1st off start by saying that this place has no business whatsoever using "Thai City" as their name. I called to place a carry out order & an instantly rude lady answered the phone, almost rushing me off the line before I even ordered. I placed my order & asked her if she needed my name & she hung up on me. My Fiancé went to pick up our food, & stated she wasn't any better in person & the place was a tad (for lack for better words)...ghetto. When the food arrived at home, I was amazed by how much there was. Two dinners could easily feed us both for 3 meals! The bag must have weighed 8+ pounds. It was just an overwhelming amount of food! We both had the Chicken Pad Thai w/ medium spice. Each box had a nice, juicy, yummy half of lime inside, lots of crushed peanuts & big hunks of chicken. Things weren't looking so bad after all! I made myself a bowl w/ a lime squeeze....and that's when the last memorable moment about this meal happened. There were an OBNOXIOUS amount of beans sprouts! I mean, there were sooooo many! Too many...it was almost all I tasted. The chicken tasted like they boiled it in plain, bland, unsalted water. Didn't see much egg, there were giant sloppy pieces of green onion, and no sauce happening whatsoever. The medium spice, was more like mild. Disappointed. I don't know how the other food choices are, but my "Bean Sprout Pad Thai" & total lack of customer service ruined it for me. I will not be giving this place anymore of my money. If you're still hungry after you get done here, go next door to Jet's. Those people know how to make a damn delicious BBQ Chicken Pizza.

This place gets two stars ONLY because they serve Thai as well as Chinese, which is how I coerced my boyfriend to go here. I had an emergency craving for Pad Thai so we went an I ordered just that. Generous portions and chicken that wasn't questionable. Yay! At first glance, I was impressed and eager to dig in. First bite...wtf? It had no flavor whatsoever. I assumed something horrible must have happened in the kitchen and they forgot to add something to the sauce, nope. It was like that the second time we went there, as well. I did taste my boyfriends' General Chicken and it was actually pretty good. They should probably change their name to Chinese City so as not to confuse people looking for Thai yummies.

Why would I lie about Thai??? Ok..1st, I have this at least once every 2 weeks..2nd, yes I suck at check-ins!! But, this by far is one of the very best Thai places I have ever enjoyed! I both eat in & carry out, I just call Judy (I am pretty sure it's her place.. She's always in w/a smile & a hug!).. So it's hi Judy, it's Peggy.. Yep, N1to go, med spicy!! Her pad Thai is the very best in.. Yes.. The world! This is my junk food, I am a tofu junkie.. It's deep fried & yummy.. Also, don't forget to try the A8-Royal crispy chicken rolls, white chicken rolls ( a must!).. I also love the hot - sour soup here.. I promise to check- in more!! Order at least medium for best flavor.. & fried rice anyplace is just plain fried rice... For a change of pace give the rice noodles a go, you'll be happy you did!

Thai City is located in a strip mall right next to Jet's Pizza. I haven't found a local spot yet, so I thought I'd give it a try. They serve both Thai and Chinese cuisines. I had my favorite dish of Pad Thai noodles with shrimp and a couple of spring rolls. The spring rolls were excellent. Great taste and fried perfectly. The sauce that accompanied the rolls was great too. The portion size of the Pad Thai dish was just as I expected and there was a generous amount of Shrimp. I asked for mild spice and it was perfect and just to my liking. The noodles were not as sweet as I'm accustomed to, but it was a pretty good dish. Overall, I will probably try it again. Service was friendly and it was ready in less than 15 minutes. That's pretty good for lunch time during the week. I'll have to see how their Chinese dishes compare.

Great rice and super friendly staff. It's not my favorite place in the area, but it really good. Nice atmosphere inside and not too expensive.

My family has been going to this place for years. The service is wonderful. We've gotten to know most of the workers. Very personable staff. Portion was large, and we always have some to take home with us. Pad Se Ewe has been a staple for years for us, but recently the noodle changed. It's just not the same anymore. Curry Puff is just awesome. Great flavors, and I love the sauce that comes with it. Crab Rangoon are great. Love the flavor. Sesame Chicken is a favorite ... as well as the Thai Fried Rice. Gai Pad Pak Curry is the best dish they have on the menu to me. This is a blend of Chicken, veggies, coconut milk and curry. The flavors is great. It can be a spicy dish to some, but if you like some heat ... it's truly is a great dish to have. This what I we keep coming back for! Overall, a really great place for lunch and dinner. The prices are very reasonable.

Since we have a friend that lives sort of nearby, we'll often walk up here while hanging out at his house. There are just a few tables inside, but it looks like most of their business is carry-out. The service is always friendly and quick, and we can make the walk back to enjoy our meal comfortably at our friend's house. We've gotten both Chinese and Thai dishes here and enjoyed both. This is actually one of our favorite parts of Thai City, because our friend loves super spicy Thai food, and we can all go there even if we're not in the mood for Thai at all. The variety is very good.

Best Thai/Chinese food in the area. Medium/hot sauce for the victory. Owner feels like my Thai mother.

They were crazy busy, but still provided good and fast take-out service. The food was plentiful and tasty (we only tried the Thai menu).
