This update is for the coffee at Panera bread! It pretty much covers EVERY Panera bread because their coffee, is "THEIR" coffee! It's splendid! It's smooth and no bad "bite" after taste! The Hazelnut coffee is "out of this world" !! The Hazelnut coffee is soooo flavorful and if you don't want the caffeine, just mix it with a little of the "decaf" and "VOILA" you have a 1/2 decaf and 1/2 Hazelnut coffee! The ambiance in Panera is such that it's great as a "meeting place" for work meetings or friends just meeting for fun! They even have a few large or 'EXTRA large" tables now for if you should show up with your "knitting group" or "church group" to talk about alot of things with alot of people! I even saw a couple of young guys sitting there with their "specialty" coffee's (frozen mocha) and they were playing chess at a small two-top table! I love coming here with my husband to chat away a long and otherwise dreary Saturday afternoon! OR I come with my older daughter who's in graduate school and while she does her homework, I will "play" on my computer and try to write excellent reviews to Yelper's all over the world! ha ha ha... No...but ...really...the Panera cafe's in general, have a great coffee and believe you me, I'm a definite coffee connoisseur!! Check out their pastry items in the bakery too! They have a wide variety of : scones, pastries, cinnamon rolls, cookies, "children's" frosted sugar cookies and even some great "M & M" cookies! Just make sure if you are visiting the "CANTON, MI" cafe' on Ford Road...and if you are going to bring your computer, you are "LIMITED" to 30 minutes on your computer between (it says on the online notice for Panera that it's 30 minutes between 11:30am -1:30pm) 11:00 Am until 2:00 PM! The online sign is wrong because I've been there several times now and If I sign in at 1:20pm, I get automatically "KICKED OFF THE INTERNET" at 1:50 pm....and then I cannot get back on until after 2:00 PM...so just remember that, as you may want to choose one of the other locations if you want a "working lunch" with your computer...There are several other choices close by and these are: Plymouth Panera just off of Main St. in Plymouth, Mi.; there's Westland Panera, just on Warren Road between Newburgh and Wayne Roads. There's also another Panera just off of the 275 Expressway at the Newburgh Road exit . It's just at 6 mile and Newburgh Rd on the South side of 6 mile and just E. of Newburgh.

Food is good. No different than other locations. Parking is a little easier due to being located in Westland Mall parking lot. Staff are usually friendly and have never had to wait too long for order. Biggest bummer is finding one person sitting at many of the 4 top bench seats so they can commandeer the outlets for computer use. So rude. And most of them have a glass of water. Save the premium seating for the paying customers.

Giving it 3 stars cuz of the rude service that I unfortunately had to encounter this afternoon. The lady's name tag stated she was an associate trainer.. So I couldn't tell u her name. But she had this empty expression on her face. Like she didn't wanna be clocked in @ work and I was an annoyance. Every picture this lady took in her lifetime probably looked scary.. She didn't know how to smile and jus looked vicious. Our 2.20$ lemonades (for a small) didn't taste like lemonade. I had gone back up there & told the same lady I wanted a refund. She said "ok I'll get you a manager I can't do that" oh ok.. She runs & grabs a manager and I told her I'd like a refund. She took me back to the register to swipe my card and I said something about the lady that helped us out. All she said was "I'll talk to her" .. Yea I sure hope so.. Nobody wants to get treated poorly for no reason at all? She gave me a receipt and on the receipt it said "free treat on us for your troubles" ummm.. If I hadn't looked @ the receipt I wouldn't of known.. She could of offered me something? I had looked at the receipt as soon as I got done eating.. So I went back up to where ppl pick their trays of food up. This sweet young lady by the name of savannah was more helpful than the actual manager herself.. Sad. She told me she'd give me 2 treats instead of 1.. Since there was 2 of us. (My sis and I) which I thought was very kind. She then proceeded to ask me what was wrong w/ our lemonades .. I said it didn't taste like lemonade. Because it didn't. And she apologized numerous times. I then had my mac & chz boxed up.. And as soon as she handed me the bag I notice an extra slice of bread that she put on the side for me! THAT'S how you keep your customers.. Not because you're giving them freebies.. But because you're showing them u care. Our sandwhiches were good like always.. But what really ruined my time here was that lady upfront in the beginning.. Girlfriend u need way more help than just training.

Enjoyed an awesome "you pick 2" lunch with a friend here while in town for the holidays. The variety of their menu is great, and I love that they post the calories. Their broccoli cheddar soup is the best around and their bagels delicious! I sure wish we had Panera where I live.

I've been here a few times after shopping at the mall, and each time the food has been good. Very nice interior and the staff have always been friendly to me.

Great staff and food. The free wifi is really reliable but this location suffers from a shortage of outlets. Still a 5 in my book.

I always go on my 1/2 hour breaks because they get you in and out the door! So fast and efficient!

Went in at 5 and they had zero pastries and zero bagels. They said they don't bake a lot cause of the neighborhood. I have never ever been to a panera in any state that was in that condition.
