Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Great pizza & great prices. A family owned biz with the owner actually working in the place. Highly recommend Benny's Pizza if you are looking for something different than the typical corporate / franchise restaurant setting. We love the unvarnished local feel to the place.

My fiancé and I just moved down the street from Benny's and I had two different people tell me I needed to try it. They deliver, which is a plus because some nights I do NOT feel like going back out. I didn't have any issues getting through on the phone, as some previous reviews mentioned. I checked the website first to read the whole menu, but knew we had to try the pizza. I just wanted to see the other options. I ordered a large square pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, & green peppers. I ended up receiving a round pizza instead. I didn't call back to complain because I like round pizza too and would've wanted to try it eventually anyway, but they do get knocked a star for getting my order wrong. The dough is really good and the crust is just crunchy enough while still being soft. I thought the toppings were just okay, not the best, but good enough. We also ordered the cheese dipping sticks. They're basically bread sticks with a slice of cheese melted on top. The bread sticks were really good, but I wouldn't bother getting them with cheese again. It says on the menu that the dipping sauce is their house made sauce with cheese mixed in, our dipping sauce did not have cheese mixed in, so that was disappointing. I also ordered a side of ranch thinking if they have their own special pizza sauce they probably have pretty good ranch too, it was not good. At least not the kind I like (think Jet's). This place was good, but not outstanding. We will get it again, but mostly because it's close and I'll want to try the square pizza too.

We are visiting family from out of town, driving around looking for something to eat, before going to see my cousin's band play at Token Lounge, when we spot this place. We weren't expecting much, just something to fill our bellies but... boy, oh boy! Were we beyond pleasantly surprised by the deliciousness of the food! The sauce and salad dressing tastes exactly like my Nonna's. I wish I was rich. I'd pay them to open another location in Portland OR (where I live). The drinks are cheap and the service is great too!!!

I have never been dining inside, we always get carry-out. With that being said their food has never disappointed! My favorite are their dipping sticks. If you get them cheese or regular they are wonderful!! The pizza is good and I would recommended to anyone in the area. The only downfall, when you can not get through because of the phones not working "/

I absolutely love Bennys, its locally owned and has great hand tossed pizzas. One of the few gems of the Wayne county pizza industry. Recommended for anyone who enjoys a great time!

Benny you beautiful bastard! I've been wanting to come home for a couple months now and finally got a chance. First off the entrance has a section for take out orders that separates the dine in area with a door. So the dining area is like a rectangular shape room with no windows. Like a secret bunker of pizza & beer. We had dip n sticks, wings, a large pizza and a couple of beers. First off the wings are small almost squishy pieces of chicken. So skip those because they're not worth the money or calories. The pizza and dip n sticks however are amazing! The crust is crunchy but chewy on the inside. With subtle dough flavor if you get what I mean. You can pick up a slice and it won't droop down. It's some of the best pizza I've ever had served in a dimly lit dive bar. A new favorite.

If you want one of the best pizza for an amazing price. You have to go to Bennys. I went there with my family. From the outside you wouldnt think this place is gonna be great. The decor inside will reaffirm that. It needs some updating. But then you order the food. That's when you know why they have been in business for 41 years. We got 2 large pizzas for under $20. One round and one square. I'm a firm believer you judge a place by the easiest items( if they can't get that right is a big waste of time and money). So we got peperoni on one, and peperoni and bacon on the other. They were very busy. And when they brought the pizzas I found out why. First t the pizza was cooked perfect. The crust was not to g thin but not a thick bread type. Plenty of cheese and the sauce was flavorful. Great spice. Perfect amount of toppings. The bacon was crisp not burned. The deep dish was cooked perfect. They do them sicilian style with the sauce on top. But it's not overwhelming on both pizzas. We also had a side of the cheese bread that was good also. It can with the house made marinara and plenty of it. The waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful. She also told us that's is cheaper to do the 2 for 1. ( which is rare cause most wait staff want a bigger bill for a bigger tip.). Then she took an extra $5 of cause the bill was more than $20. (With sodas and side salads and the bread it was $28.57). And well worth it. So overall I give Bennys pizza 4 stars. Only cause the decor really needs to be updated badly. But don't let that stop you from enjoying this little Diamond in the rough. You may want to drive pay this place cachet of the Los, but I promise you this... Don't judge this book by its cover.

Absolutely great. Great service, even better pizza. Undoubtedly the best pizza place in the Westland/Livonia area.

Decent....but like post place over the past 10 yrs. the quality has declined. The dip N' sticks are served with ICE COLD pizza sauce! WTF?? Back in high school, they rocked...not so much anymore. Pizza is OK once in a while, but you have to make sure they cook it throughly...which often times they don't!!

Decent food and cheap beer! Food: The pizza is old school style with small pepperonis and the cheese bread is yummy. A+ Interior: The inside of the place does look a little "old" but overall it's pretty clean. B+ Service: Order your appetizer first and seperate from your main course or you might be eating it all at once. B+

I have been going there for years and it is always the neighborhood go to place for pizza and beverage. Pasta Wednesday is one of my best days when it's my turn to cook. Not a flashy place but always a place to eat and chill watching the games.

The service was very poor. The food quality was substandard. The place was a mess. The floor looks like that it was never vacuumed. Save your money.

Had some pizza and cheese bites and with a couple beers. Had a huge tv to watch some games. Very chill but nothing to write home about. All in all a decent place to go that's close and cheap.

Dip-n-Stix What more do I have to say, the cheese stix, or plain stix, are the best. Pizza is good here too. The BLT pizza is excellent, The Giant Screen TV is great for watching the game, and Louie is a very warm and friendly host. This is "Cheers" locally.
