We had our wedding reception there on 9/12/15. Kathy was so awesome to work with! You can imagine that wedding planning comes with its various stressors. Well, she wasn't one of them. She was very confident, calming , and reassuring. This was VERY much appreciated when you consider that our initial venue double booked and basically gave the spot to the highest bidder! Kathy's word is bond. She doesn't say something to get your deposit and then flake on you once she's secured it. She treats you like family (and not the kind you hate lol)! The place is beautiful. And the food is superb! You truly get great quality at an affordable price. And she doesn't treat you any better or worse if you are on a budget, like we were. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a quaint, warm, friendly atmosphere, with great service and delicious food. Look no further, Angelo's is that place!

Delicious! Got the manicotti primavera and the "mamas Italian kisses" which made up for every kiss I did not receive as a child. Breadsticks were phenomenal, service was great. I'll be back!

Great place for traditional, old school, classic Italian food! Pasta is made in house and is very good.

Called around 9:00 pm multiple times to be told the kitchen was already closed. Why be open until 10:00? Should say 9.

First, I made a carry out order. They were very fast to answer the phone and take my order. Better then most places you call for carry out. We ordered the "Popular Favorite" from the pizza menu, and the "Deep Fried Mushrooms". Was told ten minute wait, sweet I'm on my way. Well I get there and waited about five minutes for anyone to notice I was there, looks like they are a bit under staff right now. But once they seen me they quickly brought out my food. It was great, we ordered a large for my wife me and one kid. Most places this is just enough for on meal and maybe a snack. Not from here. We had plenty of pizza for the next day too. And the Fried Mushrooms were the best I have had in a long time. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area, and can't wait to try more off their menu, just hope they get some more staff first.

Family recipes, true regional Italian cuisine. The minestrone could use a little more spice, but overall excellent food!

Saw a bunch of decent reviews so we decided to give it a try. Deep fried mushrooms overdone. Antipasto salad "unique". Bag lettuce mix, slices of deli meat and cheese. French onion soup could be fixed easily with beef bouillon added. Lasagna decent - very good filling (ricotta, meat sauce and noodles). Topped it with sliced deli mozzarella???? Dragged down what could have been an excellent dish. Fettuccine Alfredo was decent.

Every bite of my salad with their home made Italian dressing was delicious, the fried bread is so addicting! Home made Gnocchi and cappelletti are my favorite things to orders favorite sauce ever! Locally owned! Support local businesses!

Have to say, I'm quite surprised (based on the exterior)! Really good pasta (Fettuccine with meat sauce and meat balls) and even better meatball. Husband had the Italian plate - with equally good reviews. Have enough for a second meal and was too stuffed to order dessert. I will happily return next time I'm craving Italian!

They used to have great food. But the last few times we've gone there, the food has been terrible. The red sauce is FAR too sweet. There are almost no spices in it. They charge $2 extra for Alfredo sauce. The crab canneloni is relatively decent, but even it is rather bland. It used to be GREAT food even back a few years, but not anymore. We won't be going back.

Angelo Brothers is another Italian Restaurant that is first class and been around a long time. We usually stick to the pasta dishes like the Lasagna or Spaghetti (with the baked pasta ala parmigiana option) and they have a really good Antipasto Salad. Good bread and a full menu for any dining desire. The service is above average and the rating is a solid 4 stars.

My husband and I were in town visiting family and while here, we ventured out for some Italian food. We didn't want to drive really far for Olive Garden, so we drove up Ford Road and found Angelo Brothers. Talk about a great place to eat!! There wasn't much of a wait for a Saturday night, which was a pleasant surprise. We ordered an appetizer and it came out rather quickly. We had the stuffed mushrooms and they were great. The portion sizes are out of this world-- HUGE!! My husband ordered the chicken picatta and I had the Italian sampler plate (ravioli, lasagna, and manacotti). We should have just shared an entree because there was so much food!! The food was really good-- very flavorful and not too much garlic. We were impressed with the food. As another reviewer said, the interior definitely needs a make-over but other than that, it was a wonderful experience. We'll come back when we're in town again!!

Real nice date night place. You just have to love an old school Italian place that is casual and cool. There is lots to like about this place, so I took a lot of pics. 1) Home cooked Italian food: Hot bread, Hot Fried Zeppollli, and Parmesan cheese come out first. Delicious! I used to get 12 Zeppolli on the the Seaside Heights boardwalk in the 1980s - 12/$1. These were a very good representation. Hot bread is also airy and delicious with a hint of garlic - great with butter or sauce. Parmesan cheese for everything on your plate. Large salad with a good variety of greens, vegetables, crispy croutons and homemade dressings - a meal by itself! I don't think this was a mix out of the bag as another reviewer stated - see pics! Veal Parmesan with Mushrooms - breaded and fried veal smothered in sauce and mozzarella cheese. Baked to release the cheese and spice essence. Always a favorite like mom used to make. Angel hair pasta was cooked good with delicious marinara. Coke products! They didn't sell out to Pepsi like so many other local places. Too full for dessert, so I didn't have any. Veal Parmesan including all above was $12.95, soda was $2.75. This is a deal and we brought home a meal! 2) Atmosphere: We sat in the remodeled part of the restaurant and it was real comfortable. There are even some signed pictures from Italian royalty. I like the roman faux work in this room. Love the round booths that move in/out. These are great to take in the atmosphere, yet private. They also have square tables that can be combined for larger groups. 3) Good Service: Server made sure I got some Zeppolli before leaving as they ran out. He kept up on drink refills. I didn't ask any questions to the server about the menu, but I know he knew it because he did know how the Zeppolli were made. I look forward to my return trip. Well done!

A solid place all the way around. First you have the bread here, which is good, similar to Antonio's (but Antonio's is about 3 notches better), then you have the side salad which is nothing but salad mix out of dole salad bag. For my starter here i had the wing dings, which taste great (your typical coney island wing, which i love by the way). For my meal i had Italian combo, which was lasagna (pretty good), Ravioli (best thing here), cannelloni* (OK, nothing special) ad the mostacollli* (OK, better than the cannelloni*). Would i come here again, sure why not. *- questionable spelling on my part.

Well, after eating there when I was a child, finally decided to try it once again. It was Cinco De Mayo, and after having a horrible time at New Mexico Restaurant (see other review), my friend and I decided to go italian. Actually, we were starving, and it looked like we could get in here quickly, so gave it a try. They did not disappoint!!! :) We were the only table in there at 9pm on this Saturday night, so right there, you begin to get worried. Our waitress, Brook, was a sweetheart and was extremely nice, so that was a huge plus!! We got the bread basket (yummy), and ordered Deep Fried Mushrooms and the Breaded Cauliflower... The both were hot and delicious!!! Our main course was a pepperoni, bacon and italian sausage pizza and wow was it good. I was impressed and will definitely be back to try the other dishes, hopefully on a busier night. Overall, it a great restaurant, with a homely feel to it, and great service. We ended up talking to preactically everyone working there as they kept coming by our table. What a great group of people, with Brook being the star, she was awesome!!!

We have had our staff holiday dinner here the last 2 years. We made reservations but did not sit in the backroom where they have requirements as to the minimum number of people. They have been very accommodating as we have had about 15-22 people and were ordering off the menu. The food is good and the portions are good too. The ambiance is sort of homey- like going to an Italian grandma's house. The service has been very good both times and they were great with our group. From what I can gather they have a lot of regulars. I also here they do a variety of promos, things like buy one get one free or rolling back the prices to what the entrees cost when they opened. I would gladly go here again.

We love this place for a date night. It has the best homemade pizza and pasta. If you like your Sinatra thick, and want to feel like you're sitting in an old-school mobster restaurant rubbing elbows with Al Capone, this is the place!

Angelo's is a diamond in the chain restaurant rough. This is my go-to Italian restaurant when in Michigan. My family has been going here for 20 years (I've since moved to Phoenix), and whenever I'm back in town, I insist on having a meal here! The food is reasonably priced especially considering it comes with a basket of warm bread (mmmmm...the fried bread is amazing!) and salad. The portions are generous too. Their house-made pastas are delicious...SO much better than the dried/boxed noodles which seem to be commonplace in those other Italian restaurants (yes, Olive Garden, I'm talking to you). I'm a simple girl...my favorite is the spaghetti with meatballs. Though, on occasion I will order the Rigatoni alla Angelo. It is a yummy combination of cheesy, meaty goodness. If you're craving quality Italian food, you can't go wrong at Angelo's!

This little restaurant was the first restaurant my husband and I had dinner at on our second date. Nice little place with friendly staff and decent food at a reasonable price.

Cannolis are awesome! Not your typical custard like filling, almost like a buttercream consistancy. Yum :)

This was my first time there. I have eaten Italian food in many places and this was the first time that I saw the Bacci (pasta pockets). I was expecting something ravioli like and I love ravioli. These are more like Rangoon but they were MARVELOUS. They were out of the veal ones so I got the cheese pockets. The ears on the pockets were just enough to scoop up as much meat sauce as possible. You could tell that the pasta was made freshly. I will be going back soon to get the veal pockets and to try more things.

Been around for years and the food and service are why. Excellent authentic Italian food and some American dishes. Awesome Pizza hand tossed / made fresh. Older interior could use updating but good over all.

The pizza was good, but the bread was not fresh while the appetizer was actually cold. The staff was very nice though and took the appetizer off with no problem. I have other pizza places I'd prefer, but Angelo Brothers is a good option if you're in the area and want a place with some nice atmosphere.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
