The food here is excellent. Large portions that won't break the bank. I am not sure what kind of coffee they use, but it is very good! I have tried a few different omelettes here, and I think the Lorraine is my favorite (ham, swiss cheese, onion and hashbrowns). Service here is okay. Refills are slow at times, but that could be because of all of the phone in orders they receive. Love stopping here before work for some good food and coffee. One of our favorite breakfast spots.

I've been to Bryan's a few more times since my first review. Today, I got in right away, without having to wait at all. I still really like the hometown feel of Bryan's; people are friendly and many seem to know each other. They also seem to have switched brands of coffee, and it's really good. It almost takes like there's a hint of chocolate in it, although the server assured me there's not. She said it's Pontiac coffee. I've never seen that brand, but if it's all like this, I'm a fan. They seem to have changed the menu; it's not quite as big as it was, and prices have gone up a little, but they're still more than reasonable. The food is still good and plentiful -- enough to get 2 meals from. I probably shouldn't say that it's definitely a place worth visiting, as that will make longer lines, but....it is a place worth visiting. ;)

Cheap prices, big portions, I decided to go here with my family today for breakfast and man im so glad I did. I was a little sketchy about this place, till i seen how packed the parking lot was! The full plate of blueberry pancakes hit the spot !

This place was exactly what I expected out a hometown diner. A++++++. We had eggs, hashbrowns, toast, & pancakes. The food was yummy. Prices were awesome. Service was great. It was packed and we had to wait. Well worth the wait. Thx Brian & staff. The next time we are this way we will be back.

Always fast friendly wait staff. Always a positive breakfast. Yes its a little dive place, but the locals love it and the prices are amazing. Breakfast special is only 4.50$

Bryan's is a community institution. Good breakfast offerings. Swift and attentive service. This is my go-to place whenever I am jones'ing for a Monte Cristo. If it matters:

This place is great, excellant employees, excellant service, excellant food, and they just updated to place all new and shiney! I am a creature of habit, same breakfast just about every time, over rmedium eggs, sauage links, hasbrowns, and rye, coffee and water. Smell and see new things all the time, have broken out of my comfort of my norm, awesome pancakes, better omelettes, and now my Thursday favorite is the breakfast special and an order of turkey slop to go for lunch later in the day. Have never had a bad meal, a bad experience, good down home friendly service with a smile. Toddmichael

This place is good, not great. Ignoring bias and looking solely at the restaurant and food. The space itself has uncomfortable seating, to the point where you can back up your chair and hit somebody. Typical greasy spoon aluminum ware utensils. The service is friendly and good, the food is on par for the price, which is cheap. I have eaten here several times and its very apparent that speed is the name of the game with the cook, not necessarily quality. I ordered food and coffee every time I've gone, and I always find pieces of hash brown in whatever I've ordered be it eggs or french toast. This would be more understandable if potatoes were part of my order, but they never are. This is a local favorite scored highly because...it's a local favorite. You'll get stared at by these same locals when you walk in like an outsider. I'm not upset when I'm with people who want to come here, but it is never my first choice.

I go here at least 1 time a month. Good food, super great staff. Bryan does a lot for the community. He is a great guy running a great coney. They close super early tho 3PM

I moved into the neighborhood a few years ago from Clarkston where I ate at a local place every weekend that I thought couldn't be replaced. Well, Bryan's made me feel like I had a new home. The waitstaff is so nice. I felt like I was visiting old friends. All of the coffee mugs are from local businesses or from someone's cupboard. It's like I walked into the "Cheers" of Waterford breakfasts, but I fit in. From the drawings from the local elementary school on the wall thanking Bryan for visiting, to the helping of the animal shelter, Bryan has HEART, soul, and the best food on this side of Waterford. I won't go anywhere else for breakfast

Fantastic food, friendly & fast service; fair prices & great consistent quality every time. Bryan also does a LOT for the community, from donating to local schools, to families in need, to animal rescue. We are so lucky to have this gem in our neighborhood! Also, regarding previous comments about the decor being a little dingy, it has recently been remodeled with new paint, floors, counters & chairs. Lookin' good!

Great breakfast. Lots of food at a reasonable price. Support this local family run restaurant. Never a bad meal. Nice people.

Great breakfast. Hot, fast and cooked perfectly. Service was excellent. I'll definitely be back.

They have nice, big omelets, cooked the way they should be, not all dried out. They mix it up a little bit here by putting the hashbrowns in. It gets busy in the morning, but for a local stop to get a good breakfast fix, it just makes sense.

local coney - small, old, outdated, a bit dirty especially the floor. everyone knows each other here and the service is great. great omelette

BEST CONEY ISLAND OF ALL TIME!! It's not fancy, and now that smoking is illegal in resturants you can breathe here, but the food is great! It looks very old school but the staff is great and the food won't disappoint. I have been coming here for more than 10 years. It's a Waterford staple for a reason

Great service and great prices. Friendly staff, and you can tell that many of the customers and employees are from the nearby neighborhoods. I strongly recommend the French toast - it is terrific. Seating and parking can be scarce on weekend mornings, but this is less a problem than a testament to how good this place actually is. I would never want them to move to another, larger location, since the cheap-but-good fare and relaxed family atmosphere make Bryan's into something special.

I love Bryan's! The staff is so friendly. The bacon and breakfast sandwiches rock though I haven't had anything that I don't like. Bryan, thanks for giving so much back to the community too!
