White Castle wasn't in my old neck of the woods, so WC was a great treat to experience my first night in Michigan. Got a couple of sliders, a chili, and fries. It was tasty, but not sublime. Good, cheap, tasty fare. I can understand the attraction WC would have as a late night stop. Will repeat but not as a priority.

After years of almost perfect White Castles 9/10ths of the time, this location has degenerated into a building with lights and a pass thru window but nothing even remotely resembling a White Castle. I've "craved" White Castles for over 60 years so I know what I'm talking about. A White Castle is a steamed burger. The onions are soft and translucent - not brown dried up chips. They "slide" because they're moist with a soft delicious "gooky" inner bun. It's 90% of their taste. Now, for months, nothing of the sort served here. Horrible tasteless dried up junk not worth a dime (Dequindre/12 Mile has gotten nailed for the same thing). It's now a pattern. Whoever is in charge of this "district" I can assure you has no clue of what a White Castle tastes like or hasn't even tasted one around here. They're godawful! I'm out of here for good and taking my probably $250 worth of business per 6 months with me. If I want flavorless junk done wrong, McDonalds is open all night too. What's the difference? Hey..Big Boy! I heard you bought out Top Hat. Dig in deep and find the particulars of those burgers - specifically how they were prepared; hire some 65 year olds for taste testers, and buy up some of these vacated junkfood joints. You'd wipe 90 years of now, mal-run White Castle out of here in a minute and in the process, get back to making a profit! It's an open market, guys. Detroiters invented the term "slider" and that's what sells here; not dried up flavorless junk.

Positive: the cashier was polite, courteous and helpful. Negative: copy and paste on the other negative reviews. The floors and tables were dirty, food and buns sitting on the grill with no action happening (buns were soggy). I've been to White Castles before, and I know they're better than this.

Went to this White Castle and ordered Shrimp Nibblers that were burnt and dried out. Wrote a letter to headquarters and they never answered. Either the cooking oil needed to be changed or the nibblers were left in too long.

I've heard nothing good about this location. I took my brother for his first experience and it wasn't good. The floor was messy, with lids and other condiments scattered everywhere. We had to walk around from table to table looking for one that was clean enough to sit at. Looking back in the kitchen did not appease my appetite either. bread and piles of food on the floor under the grill. Employee just scrapping stuff off the grill then finally sweeping up the pile of food and gunk. Food, less than satisfactory; squishy, soggy bread. I think that is my 2nd and LAST time to ever eat at a White Castle.
