I love the old-fashioned pepperoni they use that I don't find at many other places. Those crispy, greasy cups...I know I shouldn't love them but I DO. Honestly, I've been satisfied just with buying that: a pepperoni pizza done right. Usually I like lotsa cheese, lotsa of toppings, deep dish...but no, I'm good here. The people are very friendly. It's also fun to watch them through the window making fresh dough. Every Halloween they give out free slices of pizza to trick or treaters. Their way of saying thanks to the community. And if you are a UAW member, show them your badge or card. They support your hard work by giving you the UAW special--buy one pizza, get one for half off. Only thing is they're a bit pricey. So they're more of a treat.

Just 1 word WOW I had the meat ball sub The staff was very polite and professional This was my 1st visit I will be back The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because it's really only a take out with only 2 tables The food was 5 star food

Really simple, great pizza. Crispy pepperoni, friendly service, great sauce/dough. Worth the drive through the old neighborhood.

I could go on and on about the pizza and how much i've loved a Sorrento Pizza since I was small, but this is all about the Meatball Sub, baby! $5, yep $5 for a large Meatball Sub that will rival anything you will find ANYWHERE, PERIOD. It's big, really big. It's you cannot eat this in one sitting BIG. Did I mention it was wet with their stellar sauce and put in the Pizza Oven to bake on the gobs of Mozzarella Cheese? (pic uploaded). Mind you, this is a carry out, it has like 2 tables in here, so don't bring a gang with you, just get your goods and go. They have pop but no cups, just as a heads-up. Staff is cool, like way cool. Ask and ye shall receive. This place is legendary, come in and find out for yourself.

Sorrento's has always been my "go to place" for a quick couple slices at lunch time when I'm in the area! The crust is crunchy and the little pepperoni's are always crisp! Some may find the sauce a touch too sweet, but that makes it unique!

We loooooooooove Sorrento's pizza (at this location)!! When my husband was a wee one, he would walk many a highschool lunch breaks on over to Sorrento's to grab himself a slice or two. Back then they came wrapped in aluminum foil, he fondly remembers. Fast forward many moons, and on a trip down memory lane he decided to introduce me to a childhood favorite. Man! I wish he had done so, sooner! This Sorrento's serves up some good old American pies. I love the slightly sweet sauce and crispy crust, but the pepperoni is where it really is at! Deliciously curled up, slightly spicy grease filled cups of joy they are! Please feel free to check out the picture I have uploaded.. SO good! I like the variety of pizza's in different places, from Italy to Chicago - I've been to tons. In our region, this place is one of the better ones around! We like coming here for their $1 slices. They're filling, they're cheap, they're consistant in quality.. and they're plain YUM.

I order pizza and it wasn't cut on top of that it was nasty like a fat nasty ass white guy was scratching his ass diggin up his nose and coughing while making my shit. Also I say all that back my bread stick had wayyyyyyyyyyyyuyy tooooooo muchhhhh cheese on then it my bread sticks weren't EVEN done. A total waste of my money I could have bought more Kush with and just cooked some bomb large shrimp and potateos with broccoli n cheese for my man for dinner but when he came home and saw that nasty ass pizza n bread sticks he demanded I throw that shit out and never order from there ever in life.

My friend at work told me to go to sorrentos because he enjoys the subs. I ordered a pizza for pickup looking forward to finding some real pepperoni around here. Unfortunately when I went to pick it up they left me waiting in the lobby for 10 minutes when my pizza was sitting right in front of me the whole time. The pizza was alright nothing special I wish the sauce was sweeter. Then the next day my whole family was sick! Eat at your own risk! I'll never be going back.

I moved into the area in '92 and tried Sorrento's then for the friends that helped me move. I've been going there ever since and it is still just excellent pizza. There are other pizza places called Sorrento-but this is the real one.

Been going since the 80's and it's better than ever. Convenient way to just grab a couple slices of delicious cheesy melty goodness, with a sweet sauce, buttery crust and curled up greasy pepperonis...This Sorrento's is not the same as the local chain Sorrento's this is the best and the original! I give it a 6 or 7 on the pizza scale......

It was here where my love for little greasy curled up pieces of pepperoni began. Sorrentos pizza is small pizzeria that rocks a carryout window like its nobodies business.

I tried Sorrento's because co-workers recommended it, but it was just so-so. Others said that it used to be good in the 80's and 90's, but it's just passable now. I found No-No's Pizza around the corner, and I have it once a week now. I think the 5 star reviews are from people that have never had really good pizza.

Undeniably the best pizza around. The slices here are the best! The staff has always been extremely friendly and wonderful! Sorrento has been my go-to pizza place since I was a little girl.

I was looking for a good pizza place and remembered that sorrentos was really good back in the day so I ordered pizza on the way from work. $20 for 1 large pizza wow, but I thought ok I am sure it is a really good pizza. I am told 20 minute which is how long it should take to get there. I pull up to the window and they tell me to pull over it. Is not ready, no problem, finally 20 minute later and no signs of life or my pizza I pull back up to the window, I wait a couple of mins for someone to come to the window he sees me and say oh right, he brings me the pizza and has the nerve to say be careful it is piping hot it just came out of the oven, what a joke the box was cold, I reached in to touch the crust and it was maybe warm at best (receipt states ordered at 5:31. Finally got the pizza at 6:04.) I had to come home and put it in the microwave. Needless to say I am still looking for a good pizza place because I won't be back to sorrento

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
