Food here is very good. Also very affordable. The only thing i would say they would need to improve on is their cleanliness. The place seems always dirty with cups and plates laying around the dining room. That's something a lot of people look at when they come in and get food from places. I honestly probably wouldn't eat at the location but I definitely would recommend a carry out. Always Fresh!

I love this place! Very small and cheap buffet. I've been going here since 2005. I have recently moved and pass a couple Chinese buffets on my way here. Don't set your expectations high and you won't leave this place disappointed.

Really tasty!! I got pork and mushroom, chicken fried rice, and an eggroll. The pork is tender and delicious and the rice is good too. Like others have said, the eggroll is a bit hard deep fried, but it was fine with duck sauce. If you're looking for quick and cheap Chinese food, this is the place.

I should've known that a place that boasts the superiority of their food in the name of the restaurant would be sub par. The only exception I've found to this is Yum Yum Tasty Donuts. That's the ONLY place. Number 1 Chinese is probably not in the top 100. There's so much competition, so many difference in recipes, levels of Americanization that it's sometimes hard to compare one Chinese restaurant to another. I usually order the same things no matter which one I'm at, so I can use those as a basis for review. I will give N1C credit on their almond chicken. It's just as tasty as anywhere else I've had the dish. Their egg rolls aren't as good as other places. I understand the concept of an egg roll, but if it's so stiff and dry that I can't eat it without drinking water between bites, then it's a problem. There was something about the pepper steak that was just... off. I don't know if it tasted old or just bland... but I wasn't a fan of it at all. Honestly, there's so many other places that are better to sit down or to get take out that are less than 5 minutes away that N1C is just a waste of time as far as I'm concerned. Maybe I had an off night for the cooks, but one time was enough for me to make up my mind about this place.

Walking in the cleanliness of the place will urk you. I used to hit up the $6 lunch buffet, but then they had to go and up it to $8. Every time I go there it's a matter of convienience really. I know I'm going in for greasy buffet food, so I've gotten used to the enviroment and the owner's are very friendly. The crag rangoons are what you need. Load up on them because they go fast, and sometimes do not replace them soon enough. and If at any cost avoid the bathroom....

Something really funky about the won ton soup, perhaps they just add to the pot every day and never start over? We quit going there a long time ago. Doggone, we used to live right by there and take-out was so handy. I am not putting in this review what I really think went on with the soup. Just proceed with caution. :0

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
