Again...ice cream. I love it. Froyo...ice cream... it doesn't really matter to me. When I walked into this place it smelled like fresh waffle cones. Anywho, this is a self-serve froyo place so you can't really screw up the customer service. I always mix up my froyo with various flavor combos. I top it off with a delicious concoction of candies, cool whip and fudge sauce. They do swap out flavors regularly but they keep a handful of staples around too (like vanilla and chocolate). They did have a cinnabon froyo along with a cream cheese type of icing to throw on top...my favorite flavor by far. They have half off froyo during the week at lunch time...which is awesome for your pocket book. Join the smiley rewards program, too. I've gotten $5 back so far to buy more froyo. Just be warned, you'll have to repeat your phone number...which is annoying at times. ~ pickle

I had been to a Menchie's in Atlanta last year, and it was great. I had no idea Michigan had locations until I saw someone check-in on Facebook at the Canton location! I think the Warren one is new and it's the closest one to me - Shelby Twp. would be second-closest but is not open yet. Went here on a date tonight and it was just as good as I remembered it to be. It's 49c/oz. which is decent, a few Troy froyo places are 51c/oz. The only suggestion I would make is have a few more non-tart flavors, as I don't like tart yogurt usually. I got mint, chocolate brownie, and one other, I think, and added some M&Ms and other toppings; it was pretty good. I would definitely come back here when in the area! There's outdoor seating too, it was about 80 out tonight (yay for warm weather, finally!) so it was nice to sit outside.

This was my first visit to a "by the oz" yogurt shop. I really enjoyed the flavors of yogurt. I had the coconut and it was very yummy! The part that can jack up the price is the toppings. Personally, I could eat just the yogurt, but I know some people like everything in their cups. lol

I've never been to a Menchies before and this one just opened in my neighborhood. They charge by the ounce so no small, medium, or large cups to worry about; purchase as much or as little as you want. Plenty of flavors including cake batter when I visited. Also fat free, sugar free and sorbets to choose from. Even more toppings are offered. I was very happy with my choices. I would sample the frozen yogurt before you try to put every flavor in your cup. They have small paper pill dispenser cups for sample sized tastes.

Great frozen yogurt but the staff isn't too friendly. The service isn't all that great either. The tables are always dirty and same with the chairs. It could definitely use some improvements.

I stopped by here today with my 4 year old. I tried the cake batter frozen yogurt mixed with the ice cream sandwich flavored frozen yogurt. Both flavors were excellent. They have a huge variety of toppings, including my favorite, Thin Mint cookies. The customer service was great, the price was way cheaper than Orange Julious, and the frozen yogurt tasted much better too.

I am a huge fan of frozen yogurt and Menchie's is my favorite in the area. They always have 10-12 flavors to choose from including sugar free, dairy free, fat free, etc. I like that they have sample cups available to try before you buy. Unlike many other frozen yogurt places in the area, they allow you to help yourself to a sample which I prefer. They also seem to have a larger selection of candy, fruit and hot syrup toppings that their competitors.

I have been to many menchies and I have always been greeted. Where was my greeting when I walked into this menchies. This team member was in the back. I understand they its cold and your slow but your still suppose to greet. They did have an extensive choice of toppings, and my favorite sorbet flavor Grape. my niece got stickers, tattoos and a painting sheet. I will visit again and hopefully they have my other favorite flavors in the summer.

They change the flavors frequently and I always like the choices. The toppings are numerous, and it is only limited by your imagination. I definitely recommend creating a Menchie's Smileage account so you can log points towards a free Menchie's. It is definitely a great place to bring your kids.

What's perfect to have on the way home after a movie on a balmy Friday night? I was thinking gelato but this place was on the way home so frozen yogurt it is. What's great about this chain is that they're open fairly late. Up to 11 pm Sundays through Thursdays and midnight on Friday and Saturday. This seems like the go-to hangout for high school/middle school kids. Also lots of families with their little ones filtering in and out for an after-dinner treat. They have little paper cups sitting on a tray in the back that you can use to sample any of the flavors which is majorly awesome. One of my friends can't have any dairy so in terms of non-dairy options they did have two sorbets, pink-lemonade and honeydew melon. I sampled both and they were tasty. I liked the tartness of the pink-lemonade but I'm partial to the cake flavored froyos so I went that route. I made some kind of sour patch kid, cookie dough, chocolate fudge with malted milk powder, maraschino cherry, mochi, strawberry kiwi concoction. I think that was me restraining myself too so watch out. Sooooo many toppings to choose from that your dessert can end up being a Frankenstein of flavors. There was a decent amount of outdoor seating and even a fire pit table but it was way too hot to sit around that. Be prepared to spend about $5 per cup and if you pack on the heavier items, even more than that. I only wished they kept the stations a little cleaner after the kids had ransacked some of them. I also unwittingly scooped a rotten strawberry into my froyo which made me a little sad. Overall, a decent place to hang out on a weekday night to catch up with friends. As a West coaster, Pinkberry is still my numero uno but Menchie's is a very acceptable substitute.

I was craving cold stone ice cream and thinking about ordering the "create your own" but cold stone was too far away and Menchies happened to be 7 mins away. It was a healthier option, and you get to pick your own toppings so I figured WHY the heck not? Went there and didn't know what to choose, so many options! Lucky for me, there was these little mini white cups on the counter that were for trying out flavored, and as I thanked the ice cream God quietly, I tried all 8 flavors, and finally came to a decision. I chose the pomengrate + acai AND the cookies & cream (yes on the same bowl. Also Might I add that the waffle cones are free). When I got to the toppings, they had EVERYTHING, I was so excited, and at that moment I was glad I came to Menchies instead of COLD stone. It all came down to $3.50 which I was pretty impressed with, since I thought it would be a lot more expensive! Overall my Menchies experience was great and I HIGHLY highly recommend it!

I loved this place! They have more toppings than any other fro-yo places I've ever been to. And the toppings, especially the fruit were very fresh. I have to say I was a little skeptical being that I was in Michigan in the middle of winter, however, we weren't the only ones there on a weekday evening, and the toppings had obviously been recently replenished. The service was also extremely friendly and welcoming.
