Short and sweet review: consistent, fast, friendly. We come here quite a bit and even on crazy busy days, we still are in and out in under 30 min. Waitresses are always super friendly, especially Amanda. Food is very good, been here dozens of time and have never had a bad experience.

You can't go wrong with a Kerby's. Most of these places are the same. They serve the same types of food: coney dogs (which are naturally delicious), Greek foods (like gyros), breakfast stuff, Kerby melts (similar to a hani from National), etc. Even though the food isn't necessarily unique, it's always prepared perfectly at this particular location. I enjoy breakfasts here. Their pancakes are effing fantastic. They have this crispy edge with a soft (not soggy) center. I also love the bacon here. It's always cooked to perfection. The one thing that really stands out for this location is the tremendous service I receive every time I visit ( which is about once or twice a week). Amanda is quite possibly the best in the biz. I have never had the wrong order. My food is always exactly the way I order it. This place is always clean too. You can't ignore that. If you are in Warren and need a coney or some chili fries, come here and ask for Amanda. You won't be sorry... If Amanda isn't there, there are a lot more friendly peeps here to assist you tame that hungry beast that lives in your belly. ~ pickle

This place isn't terrible, however I've been three separate times, ordered three different entrees, and have had diarrhea three times. Not sure what's going on in the kitchen.

Compared to the National a couple of miles away, Kerby's is much better. The service here is much better, the food here is much tastier, and the overall cleanliness is nicer. The prices are about the same, but once it's July, Kerby's has 99¢ coneys, making it the best deal in the area.

I eat here several times per week. I like the chili better than National. I love the marinated chicken, and breakfast is consistently good. They also have good Saganaki. This Kerby's does a better job with grilled chicken than every other restaurant I've been too, including Greek and Lebanese. The marinade has more flavor and they never overcook it or char it. I like everything I've gotten here, this is my family's go-to place. The manager/owner is always nice and the service is consistently good. The restrooms are always clean, as well.

I'm here with the sun still up on the evening, and the place is always clean and bright. This is a well run place and everything on the menu is standard yet well prepared. Most of the staff are young women. Perhaps it's owned by Iraqis?

Everybody has that spot close to home, the one you go to when you don't feel like arguing about whats for dinner. This is a good spot to get something quick without settling for fast food. So if your in a pickle, stop going threw a list of places to eat and come check out Kerby's Koney Island. Kerby's offers some killer weenies slathered with chili, finely chopped onions and a line of mustard that makes you wonder how anyone could dislike a coney dog. The Kerby Melt here gives National a run for its money. The National's chicken hani from back in the day, not the current chicken hani combo that costs 10 dollars. Kerby's Melt has more then one skimpy chicken strip chopped up and thrown in a pita served with a handful of raw blanched french fries void of any seasoning. One thing you will notice here is almost every table has a waitress delivering mounds of curly fries (similar to Arbys). These fries are a must, and I couldn't imagine coming here and not getting an order. Kerbys also has some great salads. My favorite is the Greek salad minus the beets (very few things I don't like, but dirty feet is a taste I can live with out). Fresh cut lettuce, cucumbers, wedges of ripe red tomatoes, tossed with crumbled feta cheese and kalamata olives served with fresh pita bread and a personal pitcher of Kerby's own Greek dressing. On a cold day nothing beats adding a cup of their chicken lemon rice soup with oyster crackers. Another things worth mentioning is the plate of the zucchini fries. Thin strips of squash with the skin on, lightly battered and fried crisp served with ranch. Kerbys has a great menu as far as a coney goes and has more then a few ways to pair different items in a combo. I may be partial to this area and location given I've been eating in this building since I was a teenager coming here after school with my friends to eat back when it use to be a Denny's. The staff here is super friendly, the food is always up to par & I'm glad to see Kerby's Koney Island step up and fill the void in the area creating a wonderful diner for our family to visit and share memories together on the days we didn't feel like cooking.

Went here for the first time yesterday, and came back today (both with coworkers). Nice clean restaurant, exceptional for a "coney island." You can tell they use all fresh ingredients. Portion sizes are good, meals are cheap, and the overall atmosphere is fairly quiet. Above all, the food actually tasted good, which you usually don't get with the chain coney island restaurants as they utilize frozen foods more often than not. The only downside here is, at least during the winter, the parking...

Good food. Good service even for a big group. Great for brunch! I have had breakfast as well as lunch items. Soup is always a good choice, the Michigan Salad with raspberry vinaigrette is excellent. I had a coney today for the first time and was not disappointed. Finished off with a hot fudge Sunday with pure Michigan Sanders hot fudge. yum

Came here for lunch, I had never been to a koney island or heard of it, it seems to be a detroit/michigan staple so I decided to check one out. It is a diner essentially, ordered gyros with fries, the meat was kind of gristly. Dunno if there is something I am missing but I was not impressed.

Kerby's Coney Island on 12 Mile Road, between Van Dyke and Mound in Warren, is owned and run by an Anti-American Middle Eastern jackass. After my father went to pay the bill for 4 of our enlisted servicemen's lunch, my mother called the owner over to our table and asked the Arabic owner if he gives our service men a discount. He nastily said "no I do not", with the lame reason being because they always come to his restaurant. He was obviously angry that my mom even asked. She originally spoke to him, and asked in Arabic. After he became angered, he refused to continue to speak to her in arabic, then gave us the "staredown" from across the room. My opinion: He is an anti American Muslim owner that clearly disrespects and despises America and our troops. But, he obviously loves our money. I just hope he is not doing what the owners of La Shish did, sending it to terrorist organizations.

Went here for lunch I was starving after a long day at work & decided to stop In it was my first time here and I am very disappointed, the food was good but the service was bad enough to make me say I won't be back! The waitress didn't smile once I asked a question about the menu n she quickly got an attitude in her voice and was very rude in answering the question so I order she drops off my food n never came back to check on me mind you I was the only person In the restaraunt so terrible service shouldn't be an issue ! My drink remained empty I couldn't ask for mayo and waited 5 minutes after I finished for her to come over n give me my bill at this point I'm very annoyed I go to cash out n the lady at the register also didn't smile or ask if everything was okay so in conclusion if you want terrible service but good food then this would be the place for you but as for I won't be back
