This diner is much more then the standard "greasy spoon" diner. I have eaten there many times and not had a single complaint. The attribute that really makes the food there above average are the homemade fries. Overall, good service, good prices, good food. Not worth passing by.

They make one of the best omelette I have ever had. And there double cheese burgers and fries are a 10 on a scale. They grind there own hamburger and fresh cut there fries.

Dan's food is very good and it's inexpensive it fills me up they have a meal for a big appetite I would recommend them have a nice day.

If you don't have longer than an hour lunch break I would t recommend it. But the food is great and staff is awesome or at least most of them. Work about 2 minutes away so I usually have. The whole hour and by the time the food comes I usually have to end up getting a box and talking it with me, because there not a lot of time to eat once you receive it.

Every time I go here the food is great, the staff is friendly, and the prices are cheap. The hand cut fries are a stand out for me since this is something that's rather rare for a Coney Island. I've only tried a handful of the items on the menu (today I've ordered my go-to grilled chicken sandwich and fries) but each time I venture out from my usual orders I'm never disappointed. I recently started working in the area and ached to find a place for lunch that would never let me down...Dan's definitely fits the bill.

The only complaints that I have are, slow to get coffee and sometimes you wait a while for your food. I go there almost every sunday after Church. Waitresses are all very friendly.

Only thing I have had is their breakfast. One thing best about it is that you can choose hashbrowns or cheesy potatoes! Also they offer sauces to go over your omelette. And the cinnamon raisin French toast is great! I would recommend this place to anyone! Prices are reasonable. Would love to try their lunch menu.

Haven't had better out of a diner ever. Everyone needs to try the fries. Any place that grinds their own burger is worth trying in my mind and I wasn't disappointed. Haven't had a bad meal in five visits. Breakfast or lunch is great.
