Unbelievable quality and HUGE burgers! All these years driving up to K-9 Supplies from Ann Arbor and somehow I missed this gem. Please get here as soon as you can-I am all about their Hawaiian Burger and homemade chips!

Absolutely the best burgers around!! They have so many choices when it comes to the burgers. From Manhattan to California to your classic American bacon and cheese. The burgers are all 1/2 lb burgers which is huge!! I couldn't finish mine, but I'm glad I have left overs. My boyfriend got cheese and bacon with fries and potato bacon soup. His was amazing! So juicy! The soup came out first and it was very delicious and very hot! I got the jalapeño burger with marinated jalapeños, jack cheese and a jalapeño mayo which was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!! I love spicy food and it wasn't that spicy but yet jalapeños aren't that spicy. They have lots of other opinions (chicken burgers, turkey and veggie) all fresh!!!! They also patty the hamburgers themselves! You can really taste the difference in this burger. I got the coleslaw and chips with mine. I could do without the chips next time (fries were better). We will be back!!!!!!!

Bronx Burgers is one of my go to all around restaurants in the area. Fantastic food, fast and friendly service! Though reading other comments I realize that I don't think I've ever eaten a burger here. I love a broccoli and swiss omelet for breakfast. For lunch a big salad, or a chicken burger (with a real chicken breast as the 'burger). Dinner, check out their pork chop special.

Now this is a burger. Place is incredible and reasonable. Burgers are so fresh and the meat is so good. This place is actually a real gem. Bacon Cheeseburger is the way to go. Clam chowder was awesome too.

Just stopped in and had a Hawaiian Burger. I really like this place. Kinda tiny in space but the staff was friendly and the food was good. Fries were crinkle cut and hot, so that even added to the experience. The burger was good, I got it well done but it was still juicy. Great stop for a burger and fries. The menu is very robust, so there is burger for everyone here. Stop by and enjoy!

I used to like the Bronx Burger, but my last few visits have been less than ideal, every time getting worse. The service here is very good and breakfast isn't half bad, but the burgers... The place has "burger" in it's name, so you would expect awesome burgers, right? They have a slew of off-the-beaten-path burgers with unique names and ingredients. Every time I get something different, but the burger has ceased to "wow" me quite a few times now. The last time prompted me to write this review. DON'T be tempted by the pepperoni pizza burger. Not even the slightest. I'm one to trust a restaurant's ability to take off items that they've found aren't up to par. Maybe it was just made wrong? This was just absolutely disgusting. Take a normal burger, with lettuce, a beefsteak tomato, onions, and pickles. Sounds good eh? Now take this exact same burger and add pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, and runny, very runny marinara sauce. Does that even sound remotely good? It was a complete disaster of a burger and one of the most disgusting I've ever had. The bun was absolutely soaked with watery sauce, and the burger wasn't staying together. I couldn't even taste the pepperoni over everything else that was going on. I've been raised to not waste food and normally eat things even if they're bad, but I couldn't get more than a quarter of this burger down. I took the rest home to take to my dogs, but had second thoughts about that even and threw it in the trash. The thing that saves this place from a 1 star from me is the service, the fries, and breakfast. The place gets packed on Sundays for breakfast actually, but don't come here for lunch or dinner, at least not for a burger.

First off, I went to the restroom to wash my hands and there was a clog in the ladies only toilet. When I reported it to what turned out to be our waitress I thought she was deaf from the lack of response I got. Seriously, I don't even think she blinked. I was happy when she came to take our order because I found out that she wasn't deaf at all, just completely rude. It was weird, she wasn't hospitable at all until she had to come to our table. I still left her a tip but I won't be going back to her section. I don't remember what burger I got but it was big, lightly seasoned and cooked well but the bun was flimsy, soggy and fell apart almost immediately. The bacon wasn't crispy and the waitress let us know in advance that it wouldn't be crispy unless we requested it. We did. It wasn't. The fries were the big disappointment. Frozen, crinkle cut fries. I think if you're going to be a burger place then you need to really be a fry place too. I could've made better fries at home, and I'm talking about the frozen kind. The shining star of this place was the soup. I got the lemon rice soup and it was some of the best I've ever had. I used to go to Nello's in Royal Oak but now I'm glad I have a better place nearby. My friend got the cheeseburger soup, which I was told is phenomenal, but it tasted like ground up sliders from White Castle. That might be what my friend loves about it, I don't know, I was less than thrilled. There were TVs all around, each on a different news station. YAWN. The atmosphere is divey and it was quiet since there were only 2 other people in there, about an hour before they closed. A typical Greek/Coney place except they're not open 24/7. Since the women's room was dirty and clogged I can only assume the kitchen isn't 100% clean either. Especially if the staff are using the bathrooms there. So for two people, two burgers, frozen fries and a cup of soup each, $30. No, i don't recommend this place. I *might* go back for the lemon rice soup but definitely not for the fries.

Diner food is simple: cheap, fast and gets the job done. Nothing that'll knock your socks off. But Bronx Burgers are a little extra special. This place has a plethora of burger options all ranging from the standard to the unusual. I go for the unusual. The best thing I like is the teriyaki chicken burger. This burger is always paramount to me. Huge grilled chicken breast marinated in a tangy/sweet/lightly salty teriyaki sauce that's always juicy and fresh. Served with red onion, grilled pineapple and melted cheese for added depth of flavor and freshness in between a yummy kaiser roll. The most delicious part in devouring this beast is when the juices soak the roll and the whole thing gets wet, sloppy and dripping with teriyaki chicken goodness. I'm salivating like a dog just thinking about it.

I expected this place to be a dive but it was actually a nice burger joint. They had some items similar to the regional Coney Island chains, but also had many new items. Because the burgers are huge (1/2 pound) I split one with my hubby. The kitchen kindly cut the whole thing in half for us so we would get an even amount. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick. Glad I finally made it in to eat there.

I was intrigued to check it out for lunch after seeing it in Freep's best metro Detroit burger's. The burger itself wasn't bad, but the prices were a little on the higher side from where they probably should be. I know some places have their schtick to have dry service, but your food better be able to make up for it, and while the Burger was very solid, I wouldn't be making it a point to make it back any time real soon.

If you're looking for a good sized burger, this is your place. I usually get the manhatten burger with their homemade chips. Its pretty cheap, and tastes pretty good. Is it the best? Absolutely not, but is it bad? Not even close. The restaurant is diner like, so nothing real fancy, plus its in a bad looking strip mall. Not the nicest view lol. It's a hit or miss with the staff. There is one waitress who just chews her gum, and takes your order. You're lucky if she comes back to check or refill your beverage. All in all, I'd recommend it.

my family and i come here quite often, more times than not, the food and service is acceptable. we have had one major issue with one waitress, but it seems as though she doesn't work there anymore. I love there lemon rice soup more than anything i've ever had from there, except one warning, a cup of soup and a bowl of soup are the same exact size, yet a bowl is more expensive.

Me and my partner just tried this place on a whim today after being stuck in traffic forever and not wanting to cook dinner. Best idea ever! It was quiet, quaint and clean upon first entering. We both have pretty bad social anxiety when it comes to eat out, so we were glad that the place wasn't packed, there wasn't music blaring, and that the atmosphere was overall calming and homey. We both were in the mood for burgers, so we only looked at the burger part of the menu- and it's HUGE! I decided on a L.A. Burger- well done, and he got the Crispy Onion Steakhouse Burger - medium well and we shared a side of fries. The burgers were both cooked perfectly and the toppings were fresh and plentiful. Each bite was an explosion of flavor, and the burgers were big! We decided it's gonna be our new weekday dinner place. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and our waitress said they are super busy during the weekend all day, and busy during lunch hours during the week. The waitress was nice, and gave us space, which we both appreciate. She also gave us a bill when we were halfway through our meals and made sure to tell us there was no rush. Waiting on the bill when you're done eating is a huge pet peeve of mine, so I really liked that she did that. I also hate hovering wait staff that constantly ask if you are okay and refill your beverages with every sip you take, so despite some folks on here complaining about the service, I think they time out their 'check-in's' perfectly. This place is super delicious and the prices are very fair. We will definitely be frequenting this place!

I'm starving at the moment and feel compelled to share my thoughts about this amazing restaurant I frequently attend throught out the week. The staff always welcome you back with open arms and a kind smile. I have been eating there for a while now and I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal. My intention is to try everything on that menu except for liver & onions. So, if I am making you hungry at this point, pack up your family , jump in the car, and head on down to Bronx Burgers. You won't regret it. Maybe I'll see you down there.

This is my first time here and I will definitely come again. I had the bacon and jalapeño burger and it was great. The jalapeños were on the mild side so my mouth was not on fire and the jalapeño mayo was delicious.

When me and my boyfriend first walked in, I was a little unsure about this place. There was only one guy at the bar, who soon left, making us the only people in there at 4pm. The decor was a little outdated too, so I was hoping the food would make up for it. We ordered and got our food pretty quickly, and we were pleasantly surprised. I got a garden burger, which was tasty, and fried mushrooms, which were a little greasy but still pretty good.. I don't remember the name of his burger, but it was very big and topped high with bacon, crispy onions, etc. He also got a large heap of amazing onion rings. Overall, it was pretty good, but I feel like with a few small changes this place could reach it's full potential. Also, the staff was very polite, quick, and attentive, but never bothered us by coming back too much. We'll be returning soon!

Came hoping for some good bugers. Left feeling nauseated. First off, the waitress was not very good. Yes, she did her job, but she had an attitude throughout our whole stay. Secondly, the food was awful. The water tasted like toilet water, the fries tasted like cardboard and the burger did not have much taste ar all. You would honestly be better off going to a fast food joint like mcdonalds for a burger and fries.

I stopped in here for a burger, I mean it's in their name! It was delicious. I got the burger well done and it was still juicy! They have an endless menu with an abundance amount of burger options. The staff was friendly. They are located in a strip mall so there is plenty of parking. Stop in & try a burger today!

BURGER TIME! Time for lunch. In the mood for a salad, RIIIIIGHT! Went here for lunch with a regular lunchee coworker of mine. HE was in the mood for the salad, not me. The first thing I noticed is that the name of the place is called Bronx Burgers but when I walked in it's your typical Greek restaurant. All the same offerings, fried cheese appetizer, gyro sandwiches. Their catch to Americanize is to specialize and offer burgers. So, what else did Burger Boy have? Yep, a good ol' American creation and favorite, the Bronx Bacon Cheeseburger. It's a half pound of pure beef. Lightly seasoned with spices. The fries are crinkled cut, frozen then deep fried. Fresh lettuce topper and sweet red onions, minus the canned pickle slices here and smothered in my favorite French's yellow mustard. The burger was fried an a grill top and was good run of the mill burger. Not great, just good. The bun was sesame and wasn't real fresh. The bacon as usual arrived crisp but got soft and chewy in the cheese. The bathroom could use some newer fixtures and regular cleaning interval (kinda messy on my visit). Definition: Lunchee, n. , friend or coworker who you generally go out to lunch with, regular lunch pal.

The Reuben was amazing I loved it,,,their chili was the worst chili I've ever had in my life my boyfriend never complains and he couldn't even eat it,,, the service very slow very slow,, the atmosphere is consumed by the elderly,, but hey I had a great Ruben,, bTW it was actually a very clean restaurant it's nice to see that people still believe in soap and water

Omg... just go there for their fried mushrooms. Made fresh not frozen!!! Everything I order there has been super fresh. My favorite is there breaded/ fried mushrooms. I can make a meal out of these alone!

I thought this would be just your average run of the mill coney islandesque restaurant that are on every corner, and I was gravely mistaken. This place has some of the best hamburgers I have ever tasted, and they are huge! There's a great variety of different burgers on the menu, almost something to fit any specific tastes. It's never too crowded when I go (big plus) and they keep it real clean. After a few visits somebody pointed out to me that this place has been on various 'Best of Metro Detroit' lists for their burgers, and I'm not at all surprised. The only downside is it's location. It's right on Mound road between 13 and 14, and with all the traffic and high speed limits, it's real easy to go right past it. They have a modest storefront and sign, and it's really easy not to notice it. But keep a keen eye out for it, you'll be glad that you did.

We are regulars here, service is always a little slow, food never comes out at the same time, but the owner is so nice and the food is always good, the worst thing about the bronx is deciding what to eat this time. Reasonably priced, and free dum dum suckers for the kids, lol.

After driving by a hundred times when I lived near there, I finally stopped in after I moved away. Good thing to cause I would have been here all the time. I had the basic 1/2 lb Bronx burger deluxe with Muenster cheese mmm yummy. Deluxe comes with fries or homemade chips. I got fries and as a bonus they were crinkle cut yeahhh. Deluxe also comes with soup, salad or coleslaw (creamy kind). Does anyone have a good sweet sour coleslaw anymore??? Burger was perfectly cooked with a ton of tomato lettuce onion and pickles and served on a fresh onion roll. So big i couldn't finish it, and i really wanted to.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. It was very clean..including the bathroom :) The staff was friendly and the food was sooo on point(that means good) A tad high for a burger that didn't include fries. For two people with no drinks our total came to $24..Geez glad I wasn't paying! But delicious

Very large portions. Service was real slow for lunch, which is a problem if you're working. I had the chicken burger which was decent, but very greasy.

Kathleen T.
This by far in my humble opinion is way overrated. Were the burgers decent. Yeah. Were they cooked to order? Yeah. I just didn't think they were anything special. I didn't like the buns. The fries were crinkle cut and although they were good, nothing more than frozen crinkle cut fries thrown in a fryer. Their homemade chips were awesome. The only thing I really loved and not enough to get me to return. It was $70 for 5 of us. I would much rather take a trip to Red Coat or Fudruckers for a burger at that price. Service was excellent but we were the only people in there.

I didn't know about or ever stumble onto Bronx Burgers while working in Warren until I stumbled across a Detroit Free Press article that named the best burger joints in Detroit. When I saw the article, and saw just how close this particular burger spot was to my workplace at the time, we went that day. For me, the Manhattan Burger was love at first bite, and thus, my equal love for Bronx Burgers was born. This is definitely a hidden gem in Warren. Lots of locals go here and they're best known for their burgers, homemade soups and their huge breakfast specials. The restaurant is family owned, very tight and tucked away in a tiny strip mall next to a Chevy dealership on Mound Rd. Atmosphere is typical family restaurant fair, but the food, oh the food is so far from the typical. When you say medium rare, you get medium rare. Waitstaff is great, really friendly and is always hovering to refill your drinks, even when you're with large groups. It can be a little bit of a wait, so if you're going on a lunch hour, leave yourself some time. The fries and onion rings are absolutely to die for, there are a variety of different burger options, from chicken, to ground beef to salmon to the classic burgers. They're best known for their mushroom and Swiss, but I'm partial to the Manhattan Burger, served on buttered Texas Toast with melted Munster Cheese, Russian Dressing, Pickles, Lettuce, Tomato, Onions and Bacon. The melted cheese with the Russian Dressing and the saltiness of the butter and bacon is an amazing combination of tastes. I'm drooling just picturing the burger in my mind. If you're not in the mood for burgers, their beef barley soup is wonderful as is their chicken noodle and lemon rice. Deluxe combos come with the burgers, fries and a soup or salad. To be honest, the salads are nothing to write home about, but the soups are phenomenal. What's the best thing to wash all that burger goodness down you might ask? Well, they do have a small bar with beer on tap, but I'd suggest going for the DRAFT root beer! There are very few locales in Michigan where you'll find keg root beer and this is one of them. They take a while to pour, but damn is the wait worth it. If you're a burger aficionado in the Michigan area and are within a 45 minute to hour drive of Bronx, it's worth the drive. I miss this place.
(5)
Jeff M.
This is a solid mom and pop type of restaurant. The food is pretty decent. Portions are certainly generous. Sandwiches are good. Don't count on heading here for ambiance and atmosphere. It's basic and straightforward. However, they do have root beer on tap. Pretty sure that you can't find that at most joints.

Pricing is average but Add ons can be expensive, Ask price when you order anything extra. I recommend ground round and marinated chicken. they are excellent. You can order any vegetable you want but you will only be served green beans.. Green beans and red skins are fried before served. Ask for them to be served dry. Service is slow and poor quality. Closes early on Sunday. Atmosphere is dated and ragged. FOX news blares from the TV.

Went with my family to Bronx Burgers for breakfast on one of my rare free mornings and it was alright. I don't know exactly what I was expecting, but what I got was a simple diner. Nothing special, just basic food that is alright. I've had better food, I've had cheaper food and I've had faster food but this place was alright. It was a little empty but that didn't bother me. I'd like to see how they do when they're busy, but it was probably not that bad either. Would I go back? Absolutely. Will I expect much? Maybe, we'll see.

This is one of those places that is handy to have in your back pocket. When nothing else sounds good, something at Bronx will do the trick. They have a little of everything and it is always fresh and delicious. I'm picky about what I feed my two little guys and this place never disappoints. Everything is always clearly prepared with care and portions are enormous. The whole family can always agree on this place. There is something for all of us! Try their lemon rice soup. We can't get enough of it! Yum!

Decent burger, comfortable diner atmosphere

This place is bad to the bone!! I don't often cross dequindre, but it is definitely worth it. The jalapeño burger is my go-to, but they're all fantastic.

This is a good place to get lunch, coney style hamburger place. I got sagnaki and a mushroom burger and both were very excellent. Nothing but greats things from thi place

Had a really good BBQ chicken sandwich here. Big portions; the sandwich had 2 grilled chicken breasts on it.

(3)Kathleen T.

Yum!
