My favorite breakfast spot! The Greek omelette with fresh lamb gyro is a must try. This is a privately owned Coney Island, not part of a chain. The chefs really know what they're doing. Always packed with people but turnover is high. Wait will never be longer than 20min. Casual dress.

I don't get it. We may not have ordered the right things, but what I had wasn't that great. The coney was okay but only because the hot dog they used was pretty good quality. The chili was bland. Their pancakes were not fluffy and were a weird yellow color. On another occasion, I had their mushroom omelet with Swiss cheese. Meh. It really could have used some seasoning. I've definitely had better food at other diners and really don't understand the four-star rating.

This is my Nana's favorite place to go for lunch. Everything is yummy & their service is the best !

We carry out food from Lulu's often at work and every single time I pick up our food this place is packed. I struggle to find a parking spot! Lulus is awesome. The staff is so nice and friendly. They know me by name because we go there so often. It's not your ordinary Coney Island. My favorite is their Greek salad. It's so fresh unlike other Coney's where you'll see a few wilted or brown pieces of lettuce. All of their soups are also delicious. Their gyro meat is also very juicy and tender. We will continue to come here often!

Lulu is really a yummy place. They have a fantastic and caring staff. Unlike any 'chain' coney island. They are always busy so they're doing something right. They have every comfort food and great breakfasts. I recently had the yogurt parfait which was healthy, yummy and beautiful. I took a photo I was so impressed.

Another coney island withing a 3 mile radius of all the others. Michigan is great for that. However it is the restaurant itself and the staff that sets them apart. Lulus is very clean. Its got a little bar for the singles coming in for a quick bite and it has long tables enough to seat 6. The staff was really friendly and talkative. By talkative I mean that rather than just the typical server lingo, they acted like people which is a nice change. Even the manager came over to make sure our food and service was good and if we needed anything. We had about a 5 minute convo with him and when he left he did the same thing with almost every table. The food came out and everything was huge portions. Very cheap, hige portions. It was delicious though. Everything was great.

Lulus is more than your ordinary coney. A complete menu with everything cooked to order. The staff and waitresses are extremely friendly and always prompt in their service the food is always fresh and I have had over 15 different things on the menu and have never had one bad experience. One of my favorites is the breakfast croissant sandwich you can't go wrong

Just ate another excellent meal at Lulu's. Had the trout dinner for $13 including salad, potatoes & vegetables. The trout was lightly breaded & perfectly cooked. Lulu's consistently has freshly prepared excellently prepared meals.

I stayed nearby here for a week long business trip. In seven days I ate at Lulu's twice, and ordered food for pick up six times. When I ordered food for pickup I was ordering for me and up to 19 other people, as we were doing an event nearby. There are so many items on their menu to choose from that we were always able to find something different to eat. My favorite items were the greek salad and lemon soup. Lulu's delivered fresh, quality food every day, and everyone's order was correct every day. it was quite impressive. In addition, service was always very friendly and hospitable. I wish I had a neighborhood Lulu's where I'm from!

  • Katie B.

I took my rating down a star bc they have once again raised their prices. I understand, that part of business but I felt they were expensive to begin with. Last time I ordered from them my salad was warm (warm lettuce, ew)

  • Steve Z.

This place has good food but their service has gone downhill with their new employees, they don't seem to be able to handle the busy atmosphere of this place and now they're making orders wrong and creating major delays. Management needs to do better training asap or I'm not coming back again. Very disappointing.

Lu Lu's was pretty ok. Not sure that it is a standard Coney Island aside from the decor. Staff was super friendly. Menu had some different things on it. I had a cottage omelette with spinach, mushroom and cottage cheese. I could taste the mushrooms like crazy but it was lacking a little something. A dash of salt and pepper was needed for me. Kids loved the chocolate chip pancakes - they split a full order and it was perfect size for them. Along with a side of bacon. Nothing was offered for the kids to color or busy them while we waited. It was breakfast ... Nothing too fancy or diifficult. I'd try it again another time and see what else they have to offer for a lunch or dinner.

So nice! Food so good. Yummy spinach mushroom cottage cheese omelet! Yuuuuummmy! Very busy on Sunday. Got mine to go.

Family owned restaurant. I particularly like this place a lot. Everything we had there was really good. I went there a couple times for breakfast and even if there is a huge line they always find a way to do not let you waiting for so long

We order take out quite often from here. The food is always perfection. They have never messed up an order. The are fast and friendly. We will continue to come back since we have had multiple great experiences.

This week we made a few visits to LuLu's. My sweetie grew up in Detroit, and LuLu's is a favorite of his parents-his stepfather visits several times a week. Perhaps he's hot for one of the servers? We don't get it. He insists on being the one to pick up anyone's to go order. Needless to say as a Brooklyn born Yelper, the name cracks me up every time, especially when some of the servers have admitted that they don't even know where Coney Island is!! Too much, these Midwestern people. I find that the staff are always friendly and courteous. One night we phoned in a to-go order of several items. My veggie wrap was tasty and exactly as I asked (picky Lou). We ordered a chicken breast for Baby Rock star who typically devours every last bite. He was surprisingly uninterested in his food. Dad gave it a try and said it was pretty dry and over cooked. That sucked. The broccoli side was fine, though it consisted of broccoli cuts. Lulu(is there a LuLu?) should think about investing in a more substantial broccoli side dish offering. Now we ate in the restaurant the following day(seriously, I do not understand why they are married to this place) and Baby's chicken was better. Moist and seasoned well. But, the waitress didn't know about certain items they carried(the stepfather knows the menu like gospel) and after insisting they do not have a half sandwhich/soup combo, returned admitting her error, that indeed they do and she was unaware. My order(I ordered a veggie wrap again) arrived wrong...oye. The waitress was actually nice enough, it's just that they were PACKED and I can see that they get overwhelmed. So ultimately I'd say it's an okay enough spot. Locals dig it, us visitors are like, whatev. The staff needs to learn that Coney Island is in Brooklyn. Farrrrrr cry from Michigan.

  • Doug B.

How's your tolerance of humanity? Keep that in mind if you go here on a busy Sunday as there will be people everywhere, noise, kids, loud talkers, etc.. Fancier dishes are the specials (Brioche French Toast, Crepes, etc). The potato pancakes looked processed, but tasted home made. Good sized portions. Hard working bus boys. The Golden Griddle syrup bottle looked like it was from the 70's and had been used/refilled/used since then. We got the inexperienced waitress, so our sub-par service may not be the norm.

    (3)
  • Colten D.

I love this place. It's always busy, which is why I don't go here that frequently. It's definitely busy for a reason though. Eat here, it's worth it!

    (5)
  • Marie B.

They make some pretty good, fresh food. I love their lemon rice soup, their sweet potato fries with that white creamy sauce, and their sandwiches- Good breakfast as well. Its a clean place, the food is really good. Salads are WAY over priced since it's 3/4 iceberg and they'll still up-charge you if you want romaine. It's ridiculous. The owners are nice, but the service from the waitresses is less than stellar. They are rude, forgetful, and not attentive. Also, their hours kind of suck. 9pm is early to be closed, and they're not open Sundays past 3. There have been many times I wanted to go get some food from Lulu's, and I can't because they are already closed or will soon. Plus, if you go within 15 minutes or so of closing, you get an attitude from the waitresses. Even if it's to-go! The kitchen cooks are already cleaning up and stare at you if you order it to-go. I think the owners would want more customers, so I'm not sure why they don't train their staff to treat each customer with respect.

Woah.. the food is so good and the service was great. We're from DC visiting family in Detroit and we stopped by for breakfast on our way home -- I had the croissant sandwich -- it was outrageous, so tasty, so big, and a great price! I would recommend this place to anyone

    (5)
  • Terri C.

Way to over priced on the salads.

  • v g.

Frequent visitor at this coney. I am giving this a 4 star just because of the staff there. They are super friendly and really fast. The staff and service definitely deserve more stars! The menu is also quite robust for a Coney. The food used to be much better, way above your average coney... however, sadly the quality of food has dropped. I would give the food a very stretched 3 star... Just an OK.

    (4)
  • Helen P.

I ate there at least 2 times and ordered take out. The food was made poorly and did not taste well. They claimed that they could not have there gyro meat hanging there off the poll anymore even though they were using imitation meat. I will tell every one to stay away from there for their own safety. They don't even deserve one star.

  • Kara D.

Lulu's is definitely a step above the usual coney island. I visited with my sister around 10AM on a Sunday. I ordered an omelette and she went the lunch route with a chicken Greek salad. The omelette was okay - my complaint is that it contained tomatoes that they did not seed, so the whole omelette was soggy from the tomato moisture. The potatoes served with the omelette were awesome. The toast was mediocre. I really prefer breakfast that includes a higher-quality toast. The chicken Greek salad was very good and fresh. My sister said it was delicious. I guess for a coney Lulu's would receive 5/5 stars.

    (4)
  • Sarah B.

LOVE this coney! Always busy which I'd say is a good sign, they are great here! My family and I order here regularly and come in to eat often and I have never been disappointed! They do an amazing job at always getting my order right(I expect some mistake because I'm so picky and fanatic with how I eat). My favorite is probably their salmon walnut salad the salmon always tastes great!

    (5)
  • Tracy M.

This is the best Coney Island in the area. Good food and great service. I've never had a bad meal at Lulus.

    (5)
  • Daniel W.

This place is super clean and very well run. The large menu is pretty standard coney food with one major exception. It actually taste great. Most coneys food as too close to dog food for me. But, Lulu's does it right. Awesome breakfast spot! Great lunches too.

    (5)
  • Mark Z.

I love LuLu's. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The food is top notch. Today I got the BLT and the lemon rice soup, very good no complaints.

  • Maurine K.

We eat here often. Love the tomato Tarragon soup. The Hawaiian salad is fantastic. You can't beat their Omelettes.

    (4)
  • Jannelle Z.

We usually go to this place with the kids. They have great omlettes and the service is excellent.

    (5)
  • Nolan K.

Rude staff, terrible service, and subpar food. There is nothing redeeming about this place, especially after being charged incorrectly for a menu item they refused to fix and being insulted by the staff.

    (1)
  • Rebecca B.

I agree with the others in that Lulu's was a surprise. I also came here based on yelp reviews expecting a good meal - very rarely has yelp led me astray. But when I pulled up I was very nervous because it is at the end of a strip mall. It was a strange time (3pm on a Thursday) and the place was quite busy. I selected the veggie stirfry. I was pleased because it was the same price as I am used to paying but it came with a choice of soup or salad! The iced tea was brewed and the whole staff seemed eager to keep the beverage refilled. The stirfry was large and tasty (even had a choice if I wanted to add garlic or pineapple - I chose garlic). My favorite part beyond the nice staff and good food was they offered an iced tea to go. It was such a nice touch...not a huge deal but I liked it. They have breakfast all day. Expect to spend normal coney island prices for good food and big portions. And the menu is more robust than a typical coney island as well. Oh also if you use google map, the place is on the opposite corner from what the map says.

  • Natasha P.

My first Coney Island experience. Next time I'm there, I'm going to have to try a Coney Island. This visit was for lunch, and it was great. I felt like eggs, so I ordered the Corned Beef Hash. It was really tasty, a little heavy on the salt, but fresh and homemade. My friend ordered a Tuna Melt, which he said was good sandwich. For the prices, the quantities were pretty large. I can't wait to go back. They are extremely busy at lunch, and seem to have a huge regular crowd.

  • Karen B.

Happened to find Lulu's in a small strip mall by chance, best corned beef hash breakfast , large serving and very tasty. Staff friendly and the restaurant very clean and stylish. After confirming our choice on Yelp, realized we made an excellent decision !!!

  • Joe M.

I love coming here for breakfast. I like the greek omelet. My wife like the veggie omelet. Its a awesome place to take the family

  • Tracie F.

I liked Lulu's! The service was great. The girls were all really friendly and no need went unmet. Although this has nothing to do with how a restaurant performs, all the ladies in there were hotties! I had a coney and thought it was pretty good! It was not the best coney I have ever had but it was pretty darn good. Fries were yum-o too. My husband had the gyro at Lulu's and said that it was one of the best he has ever had. The portion was quite generous too! Overall this place was pretty good. I would not go out of my way to come back but if in the area and I had a hankering for a coney this would be a great place to go!

    (4)
  • Stephen C.

Always friendly, always fast. Even when it's crowded (which Is usually) they move people through and get you seated. The prices might be a touch higher than other coneys but the food is worth it.

    (5)
  • Amber B.

Good for a coney; I ordered the portobello eggs Benedict, it was good, the ingredients were fresh but the hollandaise sauce needs more flavor, like more lemon or something. My son had the brioche French toast with fresh berries, that was yummy! My husband had the lulu's Benedict, he wasn't too thrilled with it. Overall the food was good, but expensive, I'd rather eat breakfast at Beverly Hills grille & pay the same price.

    (3)
  • Lisa W.

What can I say that hasn't been said? Great omelets, brioche french toast with fresh berries, good stir frys, large portions of fries, and daily specials have always been tasty, too. My favorite coney. Restaurant is always busy. I do wish it was larger.

    (5)
  • Renee B.

Great restaurant, food and staff. Little pricey for a coney place. Would recommend it for sure

    (5)
  • Jenni L.

It's rare to see a coney island with such a high Yelp rating, but the food was really good here. My boyfriend had Lulu's Eggs Benedict and said it was awesome. I went with a broccoli and cheese omelette and enjoyed it as well. I liked that the eggs were very light and fluffy, and the meal as a whole was filling without making you feel uncomfortably stuffed. I was not a fan of the potatoes, because they seemed a little plain, but I'm picky in the hash brown genre in general, so don't let that deter you. It was the heart of breakfast time on a Sunday, and we still found seats immediately and were served fast. I was surprised by how small the restaurant actually was. If you've ever been in a Leo's, this place feels like about half the size! An interesting thing that happened is the person who cashed me out actually asked if I wanted to put a tip on my credit card, punched the amount in so that it printed on the slip I signed, and handed cash out of the drawer in the same amount to the waitress. I have never had this experience before (typically, you just put cash on the table right as you leave, or sign the credit card slip and go), but it was nice to know that the person who served us did, in fact, receive the exact and entire tip. Plus, it is conveniently printed on the slip so you don't have to take the time to scratch it in, which is helpful for business lunches or travel expenses. For those who like to see the menu online before visiting the restaurant, the Google+ page for Lulu's has it available: plus.google.com/10145339… (Just click on the avatar icon and a larger version of the menu pops up.)

This place is a gem. Great spinach pie (only offered as a special), stir-fry, pancakes. Lots of feta on their Greek salads. Casual and good prices. Beats Leo's Coney any day!

  • Josh O.

best coney in michigan. great carryout service. waitresses are all friendly. food is always top notch. lemon rice is best around. always tastes delicious.

  • Denny M.

Love it! I'm an 8 year customer. Incredible service and good food!! The owners are kind and have trained the staff well. It's worth the stop in!

    (5)
  • Gary A.

Lulu's is a surprise. It's in a newer, non descript strip mall, on the outskirts of town, and I agree calling it a coney island is calling it a disservice. Sure you can get a coney island, but then you haven't explored the menu. This place reminds more of an east coast diner than a coney island. This a very popular breakfast place on the weekends, and expect to wait in line after 9am, as the 8 o'clock church crowd is coming in. My wife typically goes with the portobello Benedict or a poached egg, which they do to perfection. While I like to explore the menu, usually settling on one of the many omelette options. The service is fast and friendly. Overall Lulu's is a very easy place to recommend.

    (5)
  • Paul S.

Lulu's is a little gem. When one thinks of a Coney Island eatery, you usually think of a hot dog and chili joint. This place is far more than that. The food is really tops and the menu is extensive. The staff is friendly, the premises very clean and just an all around winner. I plan to return soon.

  • Shannon A.

I am a huge fan of Lulu's! With my super busy sched we often get takeout a couple times a week...Lulu's is always my first choice...great food, lots of options and superb service everytime! I'm addicted to the grilled Salmon Salad and eat it once a week! It's delicious and enough to share with my very spoiled chihauhau! (Leo loves salmon!) This place is jammed packed everytime I go in...and the reason is because they get it right! We have tried everything from Lulu's eggs Benedict to cabbage rolls, fish n chips, yogurt parfait, even grilled chicken and veggies! My carry out is always hot, fast, packed with everything I need...they get it right on the phone and we are never disappointed when we get home! Much more than a Coney! 5 Stars!!!

  • AJ H.

Love this place! We live nearby and we come here all the time! They even make Mickey Mouse shaped pancakes for my 3 year old daughter!

    (5)
  • DeeDee L.

The food is always good, and the coffee is nice and strong (with cute and clean looking girls to refill your cup frequently). I can only say good things about Lulu's. It's too bad that they don't have a larger restaurant.

    (5)
  • Lynn H.

My extended family and I go out to breakfast every Saturday and, often as not, Lulu's is where we end up. Why, you ask? Because the service is expert, the food is fresh and the bill is small. Large portions are the order of the day and Lulu's specials, in particular, are delish. Of particular note, the hazelnut crepes are to-die-for; just make sure you've got your sweet tooth on because they are so, so sweet. Hubby and I have also been to Lulu's a number of time for dinner and everything we've ordered has been decent and inexpensively priced. I've never seen Lulu's empty and there's a reason - this place has got dining down to an art.

This place is a home run if your looking for great "family" food with exceptional service. A hidden jewel in an area that is in need for good places to eat. stylin waitstaff, clean place, fast and efficient are to norm here. The only thing that could make it better would be to be able to get a cold beer with me lunch/dinner. 5 stars is for being among the best at what you do... NO DOUBT. But be patient... It gets busy here and with good reason. You may have to wait a few for your table but it's worth the chill time. PS... Best Greek dressing ever!

  • Maia K.

Very bad experience this month, Feb. 2014. The parking lot in winter, unfortunately, can be a terrible hazard. People were slipping and falling left and right, and the lot OWNER (coffee shop at Maple end of plaza) apparently couldn't be bothered to shell out for salt to help keep customers safe! Most public lots that day were melted off and no slip risk at all, or I`d cut them some slack. Lots of elderly folks patronize this place, too :(

    (3)
  • Alex N.

Head and shoulders above the chain Coney Islands in the Metro Area. The Coney Dogs are good (though not my favorite in the area) but the Greek salads are second to none. Nice menu variety, but I almost always go for one of the specials (Lasagna & meatloaf FTW) unless I'm there for breakfast. The place is clean and the service is friendly and attentive (both big plusses and all too rare at Coneys). Be warned, it can get pretty busy during lunch and (early) dinner but if you're looking for a good meal at a reasonable price, Lulu's is hard to beat.

    (5)
  • Brad S.

Very good food the price seemed a little higher than most coney islands I have been to.

    (4)
  • Joanne R.

This is a great local place with good service and good fodd. The portabello benedict is awesome - but so is the Lulu's benedict. The veggie omelet is one of the best. They have fresh salads, great sandwiches. If you come when it is crowded, accept the impact of crowds and chill a bit. You will be taken care of.

    (5)
  • Julie G.

Best chicken Greek salad EVER! The dressing is homemade and so fresh, I buy it by the bowl, but it only lasts one week before going bad because it has no preservatives. The staff is super friendly. Highly recommended!

  • Steve K.

Woweeeeee, is this place always busy! A sure sign that something good is happening..... Whoever runs this place should teach a class on how to do things right: service, food, smiles, cleaning, everything is perfect at LuLu's. I am currently eating a grilled veggie pita with feta cheese and a bowl of tomato terragon bisque as I write this and I am one happy camper. I've never had bad food from LuLu's - EVER!

    (5)
  • Jeannette M.

Always good, fast, and cheap. Just wish that they had more seating. It's always busy!!

  • Edward H.

Just adding my two cents because we've been going to Lulu's for a few years now, many times on Sundays after church and here and there whenever we get a chance. I love everything from breakfast to the burgers (I'm sure they are preformed and frozen, but they really taste good, especially the bacon cheese burger with everything). Awesome chili fries, and honestly the best home made chicken noodle soup I ever aet. Great dinners, chicken, liver and onions, salads, you name it, there's a variety. Fish and chips! MMM...and the portions are always generous and the service is really excellent. (The same owners also have the Brighton Bar and Grill in Brighton, I recently found out..figures, that place is really good too). So much more than a Coney Island. Definitely a jewel! Glad we found it, and am sorry it took me so long to sing its praises!

Try the home style smothered potatoes with sausage gravy on top. Totally scrumptious comfort food!!

There is nothing not to like about this place except maybe it should be bigger since it is always packed. The service is fast and friendly. The food is fairly priced, fast and generous. If you want a great place to take the family on a budget or quick lunch this is your place.

    (5)
  • Mark D.

HORRIBLE SERVICE.. Their credit card machine was also not working for 1 hour. Worst experience ever. I would not reccommened this Coney Island, their prices are also too high and their food is not good.

  • Meg R.

This place should be called Lulu's Family Diner. It only slightly resembles a Coney Island. The food is fresh and great tasting. The restaurant is squeaky clean. The waitress when cleaning up for the night actually wipe the menu's down. The last Coney I went to my hand stuck to the menu. I was so impressed I went the following night also. The first night I had pork chops and scalloped potatoes. The potatoes were real not boxed. The second night I had chicken parmesan and spaghetti. The portions are so big I had it the next day.

    (5)
  • Steven B.

Best Coney I have ever visited. Much better quality than most Coney Islands. I had the Chicken Wild Rice soup and a Grilled Turkey Reuben. Service was good and food came out hot and fast. Refills were instantaneous which is great because sitting with an empty soda cup in front of me drives me nuts.

I stopped here out of the blue expecting a run of the mill Coney Island like all the others in this area of the Detroit suburbs. What a wonderful surprise! The food here is fresh and tastes better than Grandma's (sorry Grandma, you held the title before now and I still love you). Nothing I have tried tastes like it's made in a restaurant. The Chicken Walnut Salad has the perfectly grilled chicken that practically melts in your mouth. The stuffed cabbage is one of the best meals I've had all year. I'd go out of my way to eat here over many high end restaurants. The staff is pleasant and friendly, and the atmosphere is homey and comfortable. Lulu's is the "Cheer's" of restaurants in a sea of bland sameness! I'm picky and not easily impressed by restaurants and I love this place, they get it right!

  • Chad C.

Stopped tonight based upon the numerous 5 a star reviews. Perhaps, it is more if a breakfast place, but we did not think it was that great. I am not sayingit is bad. Just not a 5 star restaurant.

  • Dick D.

I tried Lulu's based on the yelp review. I went @ 3pm on Sunday and the parking lot was full. I sat at the counter as I was alone. I ordered eggs and toast and coffee. I asked if the price was less than a full breakfast and after the waitress looked at the menu she said yes. It surprised me that she had to look to answer my question. Although the aisle between the counter and the kitchen is a main waitress through fare, I was never offered a coffee refill. Odd. I guess on Sundays an order for just eggs & toast are not much different to them than a panhandler at the back door. Since I was sitting close to the cashier I saw one guy's bill was $85, obviously I was the only one disenchanted.

Best Chicken Lemon rice soup I have ever encountered. My Family frequents this establishment every weekend. I have been here numerous times, easy to find and great food. When ever I come home I make a trip here with my mom for a quick, cheap, and delicious lunch.

We always have a great meal here. The food is just like home cooking and the service is great. Reasonably priced for the quality of the food. I always recommend Lulu's.

I have been a regular here for breakfast for years, and now my wife loves it, too. Service is great, and friendly. The whole grain and nut pancakes have pretty much spoiled me on pancakes now -- they're my favorite. Sounds like a "health nut" food, but they're very tasty. Can't go wrong with the omelets, either.

Calling Lulu's a "Coney Island" doesn't do it justice. Their food quality is much better, the restaurant is very clean and it is a great place to get breakfast. The owners and staff are very friendly and I always have a good, quick meal here.

I live just a few miles from there and have driven by the nondescript little strip mall where Lulu's resides many times and have never given it a second glance. But searching for new places to eat near home, I read the Yelp! reviews and decided to give it a try. First for a simple breakfast of eggs over easy, hashbrowns, toast and coffee. Very good! Then my boyfriend and I stopped for lunch today and got the stuffed cabbage! Wowza! I am telling you, it's as good if not better than ANY of the Polish places I've eaten at in town. Tender, nicely seasoned. FRESH from scratch mashed potatoes and chunks of carrots braised in the stuffed cabbage liquid. I could only eat half... took the rest to my mother, who LOVED it. So, yes, I would go back. We want to try some other things on the menu. The staff is friendly; the service speedy and the quality is very good!

In my opinion, this is the best family style restaurant in the Walled Lake area. The food is varied and wonderfully prepared. The service is always good and the owners truly understand the meaning of giving the customer the best for the price.

Never have been disappointed. I return frequently for breakfast because the service is good, the food is nice and hot, the coffee is fresh, and the waitresses are cute and attentive. The only drawback is the wait on a weekend morning. I liked it better before it got "discovered".
