They give you a LOT of ice-cream for your buck and it's GOOD! :)

On vacation in Michigan and my relatives suggested Dairy Twist, I'm so glad they did! The shop serves Guernsey ice cream, which I love! I ordered the Chocolate Malt Chip, while my mom and hubby ordered Peanut Butter Iditarod and a friend ordered the vegan chocolate mixed with pomegranate sorbet. We also ordered battered fries with a coupon. OMG! Chocolate malt chip was yummy but nothing could compare to the Iditarod! It was probably 40% peanut butter swirls, 30% vanilla ice cream and 30% candy toppings and it was insane. Clearly it was the winner of the afternoon. Our friends vegan ice cream and sorbet was good, but hollow compared to the richness of the real stuff. The fries were surprisingly really great too, they were perfect with my chocolate ice cream. I will definitely revisit this shop if I'm in the area again because I want to try more of the many flavors. The fact that the drive-thru is open year round is another huge plus.

Today I ordered one small cup of ice cream and one medium cup. The small was twice as big as the medium, which was more like an extra small. I brought it up with the worker behind the counter and he asserted that it's a medium. Really??

Ice cream is good and the portions are large! I can't even eat a small flurry by myself. Lots of variety and something for everyone. Drive thru is awesome, gets very busy in the summer. Watch your mailbox if you're local, they send coupons.

they have delicious guernsey ice cream as well as soft serve. the crunchy cream is similar to a mcflurry. beware the serving sizes are HUGE! the small ice cream cone would be a large in most other places. it's a popular spot and service can be slow. CASH ONLY

Get ready to wait 45 minutes for soft serve ice cream while 5 different little league baseball teams run around screaming and running into you. Creamy Freeze is way better; no wait and they have amazing custard & everything.

This is the place for ice cream in the area. The drive through is pretty bada** for an ice cream joint. The crunchy cream is where it's at. Like a DQ blizzard on a cone!

Dairy Twist has been one of my favorite spots to get ice cream since I was a kid. I've got Dairy Queen right around the corner from my house, but I always drive the extra couple miles because it's that good. I especially love their drive through. In the summer after kids baseball games, the place can get packed! This is a testament to their outstanding service and offerings. I'm pretty traditional. I love their twist in a cone. Warning though - their portions are huge! A medium cone is always going to be too much for me. Sometimes the small is as well. Enjoy all of their taste treats, but don't forget your cash! That's all they accept.

Honestly, I don't know what everyone sees in this place. I'm a soft serve girl, and Dairy Queen does it better. Dairy Twist's vanilla soft serve tastes like milk, not vanilla. Their chocolate isn't anything special. I've also had my order messed up. So, not my favorite place. Maybe it's good for other things...

Oh boy do I love ice cream! Even better when it comes with a buy one get one free coupon. Make your own sundaes are great. You can never go wrong with a chocolate shake... Or a twist rolled in sprinkles. They have a huge selection of Local farmer, Guernsey Ice Cream. Be aware, sizes are huge! A large cone is quart of ice cream!!!

The Dairy Twist is a local classic. When I was a kid, I played baseball around the corner from this place and after all the games, win or lose, we headed out there as a team to wind down on some soft serve. Today, 25 years later, kids and baseball teams are still doing the same thing. It's not much different than it was back then either. An outdoor-only ice cream stand that serves soft serve, shakes and sundaes. It's not polished or 'new', but it's clean and they've got the goods. The place is plastered with ice cream ads from the 80's and has a slightly 'back in the day' feeling. They recently added a drive thru window that (I hear) serves coffee and doughnuts in the mornings to hungy commuters. They also have the typical ice-cream-joint-food such as hot dogs and hamburgers. A few tables scatter the front, but most people just stand around or sit on the timbers the line the flower beds. A great local place to support and visit with family and pals.

Dairy Twist is a nice treat. They have a wide selection of soft serve ice cream including a wide array of new fangled things like Flavor burst (flavored syrups injected into your cone as it is dispensed) and my person favorite Crunchi-creme (various candies injected into the swirl). On the pricey side for what you get but they always have coupons in the monthly mailers buy 1 cone get 1 free, don't leave home without it.

I love the Dairy Twist. This is an old school dairy store with fantastic ice cream. They even have a drive through! I curse the day I became lactose intolerant, but its worth it once in a while...

Great place to go when you don't feel like supporting the big chain ice cream stores. Great ice cream, great staff, great people.

Very good ice cream and generous portions. My only negative is that they don't take credit cards so make sure you have cash on hand.

Great place for ice cream. Portions are huge, so go down in size if you don't want to be overloaded with yummy ice cream!! Highly recommend....come here all the time with my family.

Great place to stop after little league games with kiddos. They LOVE this place. They got my order wrong a couple times, but whatever I got was still good, so no worries. The people that work here are nice & they have a good variety of treats you can get.
