The food is still good. I always go back to the same things to eat because I love them. The waitress who are supposed to be refilling the drinks are slow and never seem to be around. The people who get plates off the tables do a lot and work hard and seem to do more for customers than the waitress. I can never seem to say no to going here when I'm in grand rapids.

Not a bad place to eat, the service we had was very good Quincy and Tacharra took really good care of us. It was CRAZY busy when we came in Saturday evening the line was out the door. The food was pretty good, but for 11.95 can't complain much. The steak was very good and well flavored. The cook behind the grill was doing a nice job. Big profs to the staff. They were all working there butt off to get tables cleared and get people seated. Not sure it is this busy all of the time, but be prepared to wait. The chocolate fountain is always a hit and the deserts were tasty. I only gave it three stars because while the food was not bad and the service was good, the bathrooms were disgusting. Once we made them aware of it they were on it. I would come back here again.

The best of the buffets I've had around here. The food is a step (way) above what you get from old country but at the same time you could get an entree at a lot of really good places for what you pay here. We game the system by coming at three and just staying for dinner! Surprisingly good quality and selection. I had the breakfast once and that's pretty good as well. I've always had very nice service too.

Every time I go here, it gets better. I mean...the place is swarming with people-every-single-time. I'm giving it an A-Ok because it IS a buffet.

Went as a large family group for breakfast and was really not impressed. The food on the buffet was far from warm and a lot of meat was very greasy. The only reason we gave it 3 stars is for the service. Ezekiel was phenomenal! Gave us better service than most restaurants in Grand Rapids.

My only downside to this was as a first timer here There was a big line and I wasn't sure where to go and go about paying and waiting on yourself before getting a table. It would have been nice to have someone at the front politely telling you where to go. However, the food was good, TONS of choices, it's sure to satisfy the pickiest eaters in your group. Decent price, and the staff was very attentive.

My family decided to check this place out. I was hesitant but figured I'd go along with it. Keeping in mind that it's a buffet, my expectations were not very high to begin with. After this experience, I can honestly say that I've never felt so disgusted in my life. Have you ever been to a place where you felt if you touched anything you'd contract a disease? Well, this place is it. Everything is so filthy inside (the restaurant and the patrons). I will never be back. Gross!

Ate here last week .when you go to get anything it's empty or there still cooking stuff. They need to wash there hands more and use gloves .Sometimes it's ok and you have a good waitress other times you have a bad one.You have to be picky because some times the food has no taste to it.i usually just get fish or chicken and a salad

Had dinner here last night, 01/22/15. Quite pricy ($24.90 for one regular meal and one senior meal) but the food is pretty good. I was disappointed that the senior discount was only 49 cents though. Regular meal $11.99 senior meal $11.50. NOT much savings for us old folks. The best part of our experience was the wonderful lady clearing tables in our area. The minute we completed a plate of food, she was there to whisk that used plate away. Her name was Cathy. She went out of her way to help and make the experience a wonderful one. She actually went to retrieve some lemon wedges for my friend. Even though she was also clearing tables for a school bus full of kids, she found tome to help us. Look for her when you are there. ALL IN ALL CATHY MADE THIS TRIP TO GOLDEN CORRAL WORTHWHILE!!

Ok people really. If anyone gives this place more than one star must be a college student or just doesn't care about good food. The place was very dirty. The lines to get food where terrible and when you finally get there it's empty. I got a piece of steak if you want to call it that and it was still crawling, had the manager come to look at it and she sat down and started chatting with us and made jokes about the meat being raw. Very unprofessional. I can't believe that this place stays busy. But I guess that people's standards have dropped.

Well not impressed. Food was about average and was not stocked fast enough. We had to wait 30 minutes for spaghetti and to top it off they ran out of soft serve ice. Now we have to go to McDonalds..

Went here twice & was completely disgusted both times. Food is nasty & old. The only thing that was half good was the dessert. So expensive for not that great of food. Never going back.

One of the best buffets around, some of the food is so so and some is excellent, steaks sliders are great! They have a wide variety of food, salad bar, Mexican, Chinese, Italian and American food. Dinner is a little pricey but lunch is great!

Some food items seem old or moldy. The rest is pretty mediocre, but what do you expect for a cheap buffet.

Unreal, A place to go if your looking to Graze. Really, food was bland at besta nd all of these places smell the same. Fruit and salad bar were ok, kids running around no supervision, most parents were acting like it was there last supper instead taking care of their children. Long lines at steak station some food trays were not refilled or replaced the 1hr I was there. I will give 2 stars because Anna my server was clean, polite, and said sorry for the noise and kids. If you are looking to stuff your gut with UNHEALTHY FOOD then this is the place otherwise stay away, you can do much better in GR. I know its all you can eat and I realize they have to use cheap food and ingreadients however the food should have tasted better.

Barf. Hardly any decent food, the fried rice from the asian side was specifically one of the worst things I've ever had. The fried shrimp was all I ate after trying a few things that were terrible. The people dining here grossed me out also and would not get the F out of my way. I almost had a stress seizure just from trying to get to and from my table. It was hot enough to make me sweat like all the 400lb people that were in there. I understand the consumer market for this is junk because it's so cheap here so if you want to go watch cattle graze on disgusting food, here you go; Michigan at its finest.

5 stars. The steak here is nearly as good or even better than all steak houses in grand rapids. Real mashed potatoes, not the instant kind. Alot of quality here and a lot of value. Remember you are at a buffet and you will leave feeling time and money well spent

Just like a new car, this all-you-can-eat buffet still has that new car smell for having only been open about a month. The employees are young and ignorant of many questions not covered in their handbook (ie, why is there no light salad dressings?), but eager to please. No spills on the floor or crayon markings on the walls from nasty little unsupervised children. Buffet was spotless and warm food warm; cold food cold. The traffic flow pattern is rather like a dancing dervish on crack. For example, the exit is the same as the entrance...not good when you got clans coming to dine. Definitely, come to feed on off dining hours to avoid the large crowds and professional buffeters. Food was excellent for a buffet with a large variety to select from...even steak cooked to order. Love the multi-colored plates! The best area to sit is at the far end where the salad bar is located.
