Omg!! This is my favorite place on earth!! They have homemade fresh soups everyday!! The selection ranges from split pea all the way to chicken pot pie! There is 12 different soups a day! Fresh amazing delightful!! I wish they would franchise out of the state if Michigan though because this place is amazing and who doesn't like soup???

Zoup is a favorite of mine when I just don't feel like cooking. Is it the best soup in town? Not quite but it tastes pretty good. The beauty of Zoup is it's as fast of food as Burger King and Wendy's. For quick and simple I give it a thumbs up.

As good as fast casual can get! Beats the pants off of a Panera or Potbelly's. The staff here is extremely pleasant. The food is always fresh, and the variety is incredable. I am a huge fan of this Zoup!

Great soups, sandwiches, and service. I come here once a week. The staff knew me by name after my 3rd time here. Chicken Toscana sandwich is DA BOMB!

Some of the best things are simple, that's what Zoup is. Soup, Salads, and Sandwiches, no hassels. They have a good size menu, and you can get free samples of their soup. I ended up with the Corn and Roasted Red Pepper Chowder, and the Veggie-terranean Sandwich, and the order came with a big baguette roll. I was way full, and had left-overs! Everything tasted delicious, I especially enjoyed the hummus spread on the sandwich, so yummy. The place doesn't have all the bells and whistles. But sometime you just need a simple meal, you know? And Zoup is the place to be!

Way over priced. Sandwich wasn't bad couldn't eat the soup because it was like eating a spoon full of salt. And took forever to get order. Me and a co worker ordered separately online under two different names and they decided not to make one because they were to similar. Soooo people can't order the same meal? Thank you for reaching out after posting this review

I hate to be negative because I'm sure the management is excellent considering how nice the place is. Music is soothing, area well designed and lacking nothing. Nevertheless staff hit many of my pet peeves. They seemed displeased to serve me, they didn't listen to me and lady spoke in such Ebonics that I felt awkward asking what she said again and again and again. I don't want to feel like this when I pay for lunch. Food good as always. Even if the soup is pre-packaged, it still tastes excellent and poses great quality to me.

It used to be one of my all-time favorites!!! Zoup!! Man, it's been YEARS!! I worked at Royal Oak Medical Center for about 3 years and was working there when Zoup first opened. I was in love. I'm a soup junkie. I couldn't get enough! I quit that job and started working farther away from Zoup, and kinda never looked back. I kept waiting for them to open one closer to where I am now, but no such luck. I decided to make the longish trek from my current job over there last week, fingers crossed I wasn't late coming back. I walk in and very confused girl looks at me and says "you can't order anything for like 5 minutes because they are counting out the register." HUH?? At 2 pm?? Another woman walked in behind me and was told the same thing. She asked the girl could we at least try some samples and make up our minds while we wait? She then said "yeah" and then looked down and said "well, this one and this one and this one aren't out here right now..." This girl HAD to be new. She had the woman behind me so confused I thought she was gonna hightail it outta there! So, there I stand, looking at the soup I want to order, but can't order it. She asks a guy who walks out into the register area if he knows when we can order. He COMPLETELY IGNORES HER TWICE. Talk about teamwork. She shrugs at us and goes in the back. A guy walks out with a register drawer, completely ignores both of us who are standing there, puts the drawer back in. The girl, with another girl this time, comes back out and asks him if it's ok to use the register now. He looks at them, says nothing, and walks back in the back. At this point I'm feeling pretty sorry for all of us. I know I'm gonna be late now, but fuck it, I'm here. I order the lobster bisque, which should be called crawfish bisque to avoid the confusion of there being really no lobster meat at all, but all crawfish. Although crawfish is mentioned in the description, it's still misleading if you ask me. You still get sourdough, multigrain, or a piece of French bread. The girl that waited on me was nice, and she did offer me a free large pop for my wait (which the other girl didn't offer the other customer who waited too), and I got back to work as fast as I could. The soup tasted OK, but it wasn't heated through and there were clumps of it that weren't not supposed to be there, like just showing off that its packaged soup. This was very disheartening, and for sure, I'll never go back now, unless I'm in the area, which is pretty much never. /Soup

A regular dinner spot. Always good, always friendly, and always fast. The only low spots are the menu, the menu and the hours. 1) menu- they vary the soups but tend to group the good ones on 1 day theb group the bad ones on the next by that I mean the bad...bean soups they're bean heavy on days. The all the good nonbean soups are offered at the same time. So if you go on bean day good luck. 2) Menu- On multiple occasions the website lists the wrong soups. So after traveling to get it I'm disappointed at that is an old menu 3) Hours- They close too early. Like 8 PM, and even earlier on Sunday. If they iron out those wrinkles they'd deserve that 5th star.

Zoup, as a whole is pretty good. They have great products at decent prices. The variety each location has on a daily basis is impressive. I enjoy being able to make my decision on the daily updated website before heading over. Plus each soup is marked with dietary restrictions. As a dairy free person, I love not second guessing my food choices. This location is a hot mess. It took 16 minutes to get a cup of soup. Everyone was at their stations, but nothing was getting accomplished. The soup guy would offer a free sample to everyone in line, but would not actually pour a whole cup of soup for an order. While we ate our soup, we watched more chaos develop. The cashier guy disappeared and a new guy in a jacket appeared behind the counter. He fed himself sample after sample while welcoming everyone new in line. However, he would not take any orders. He just ate and said hi. Customers just stood there. Finally (like quite a while later) sandwich man stopped making sandwiches to take orders. I enjoy Zoup's products, but will not be returning to this location.

I really just wanted to let everyone know that my buddy starched his shorts and had a food-gasam over the crab bisque. There was a lot of moaning and heavy breathing coming from his corner of the table. So you might want to at least try a free sample of the crab bisque. But be warned if you go with a whole bowl of soup bring a change of underwear. Its like a panera. Its good. You can get a bowl of soup, half a sandwich and drink for $10

I find the staff at this Zoup! and a few others in the area to be friendly and very pleasant. The soup's themselves are overall fine but sometimes I'm left with wanting more flavor and spice (not just at this location but at other Zoup! s too). I think it is always a plus when a business is open about an item being vegetarian or vegan. It helps so much to have that information so I thank the smart people at HQ who made that decision. I'm not saying that I'd not go to Zoup but with so many options available (even at the local grocery stores and specialty stores) I feel that they need to do more. I love the bread and don't really have much to complain about from any particular visits in the past, so I'll always support this business. However, they will share my support with others who may offer more options.

Okay, i had previously reviewed Zoup from a catering order, and my review was less than stellar. Well, I am sad to report, a few years later, that I have had to drop my rating even lower. I went in for lunch and ordered the Southwest Turkey (turkey, pepper jack cheese, tomato, lettuce, chipotle mayo on ciabatta) and the Ginger Butternut Squash soup with french bread. First, they were out of french bread. On the surface this is not a big deal, except they are seemingly ALWAYS out of french bread. My sandwich was bland and gross. The ciabatta looked like it was made of foam it was so proceessed, the lunchmeat had zero flavor, there was no lettuce, the un-ripened tomato was encased like a catepillar inside a cocoon of less than zesty pepperjack cheese. In short, it was a colossal disappointment and most CERTAINLY NOT worth the $9 I paid. I've had better sammies from just about everywhere. The soup was good, a lot of ginger, but good. Zoup FAIL.

This is a pretty cool concept. Not to complicated but good sandwiches and soups. Part of their shtick is to offer free samples of soup which is a good thing. I would say if you are looking for a quick lunch or dinner this is not a bad place to try. Service was a little slow, they didn't seem to have a good flow going but could have caught them on a bad day. Definitely worth another visit.

This place is a favorite when it comes to getting something decent to eat when you just don't feel like cooking. If you don't want to spend a lot of time dilly-dallying over the soup counter, check out the day's soup offerings online and order before you go...or you can just go enjoy the experience of tasting a couple of samples before making up your mind. I like their gazpacho, tomato bisque, lobster bisque, and their chowder-style soups are usually pretty decent. Their sandwiches are nice and freshly made, but service can be a bit on the slow side if you wait 'til you get there to order...another case where it might be best to order before you go. We'll order a few containers of soup when we go...some to eat that day, with enough left over to warm up later in the week...because everyone knows soup is usually better on the second day! This busy corner location is a little difficult to get into and out of if you're coming at it from the wrong direction, so I go there earlier in the day if that's an option and warm my soup up for dinner later.
