Uhhhh, it's Starbuck's. Amazing coffee, crappy baked goods, fast service, fun little coffee accoutrement. Service here is speedy but not as personal as the shops that are not in the mall, That's fine by me, just give me my grande Cafe Verona in a venti cup, thank you.

Slow service. Once you get your coffee, it's good, but every time we've been here the service is slow. They need more staff, it's as simple as that.

Slow as f*** and my drink was made wrong. I'm all set with this place. I had to snap and yell out a few frustrations in order to get my drink done. The women that were standing in line next to me voiced the same frustrations mentioning that the Starbucks in the top floor had closed and that's why this one was so busy.

Gosh, I'm a Starbucks-holic. Whenever there's a Starbucks, I'm there. This one is OK but I've been to much much better ones. Flaws: 1. They once put 2X the espresso you're suppose to put into a caramel macchiato. After I told them, they said it was just me not used to the taste of espresso. W...T...F... 2.I was in the line waiting, and I was staring at the awesome baked goods. And then I was grossed out when I saw something move around. I looked closer and it was a bunch of little flies flying around. Then I examined the whole fridge or whatever they put the baked goods in. There were at least 10 flies. I told one of the workers and they emptied it out. But, the person who was in front of me ordered something from there and the Starbucks staff didn't tell her to bring it back for a refund. And yes, she was still in the store, eating the fly infested scone.

Good Starbucks to help you keep shopping! Sometimes the line gets really long but the staff works very fast to get the line down and get you in and out. It's my go-to Somerset Starbucks (when I'm on the south side).

This was the first Starbucks in Michigan. I know this because I've been working at Somerset for four years and somewhere in there, this Starbucks had a big anniversary. They also just had a major remodel and now offer breakfast sandwiches in addition to the case of pastries they offer every day. The coffee is the same as any other Starbucks and just like any other Starbucks, you have baristas that make good drinks and baristas that make you groan when you give your order because you know it's not going to taste right. Overall, I'm very satisfied and will continue to be a regular here for a long time.

Starbucks, I love you, but you have failed me. I love the Somerset Starbucks - I love ANY Starbucks, but this could not go unnoticed. I apologize to the Somerset location, as this is not your location's fault, but a greater fault on the part of Starbucks as a whole. As most of us coffee fiends know, Starbucks typically stocks a nice variety of baked goods for those patrons (like myself) who periodically would love a cookie with my white chocolate mocha... and on a recent shopping trip, I happened on their newest dessert endeavor - the dessert minis. The dessert minis can be purchased for $1.50, 2 for $2.50 or 3 for $3.50. The selections (at least that day) included a mini red velvet whoopie pie, a mini cupcake, brownie, and three options of cake pops - tiramisu, rocky road... and something else. I was fairly excited about my mocha and a tiramisu cake pop... I like trying new little baked good treats. **Here is my disclaimer about my review: I have made numerous birthday and occasion cakes. I have done wedding cakes, made cake truffles, and supplied cupcakes for more parties than I can count.... I'm a picky cake person.** My tiramisu cake pop appeared to be covered in white chocolate and topped with a chocolate covered expresso bean. My first bit was so disappointing I was secretly hoping that my coffee had burned my tongue without my recollection. I was more overwhelmed with the white chocolate and missing the expresso and rum flavors I had so hoped for. Truth be told, there was no flavor. No rum, no expresso... nothing. It was nothing but a gooberie ball of "cake" dredged in white chocolate - - and the expresso bean, which turned into the hopeful highlight of the culinary purchase, turned out to be a lousy chocolate covered raisin. Add to that the pricing is ridiculous - even for Starbucks. Dear Starbucks Execs, Fire the pastry chef who developed those. Immediately. If you're going to provide desserts, they need to meet some sort of a standard.

It's Starbucks. If you're a fan you know. If you're not, go to the Nordstrom E-Bar. That's good too.
