If I could give this panera zero stars I would. It's really an outlier in terms of panera but the cleanliness is horrible. There are always fruit flies by the fountain drink machines and flies by the work station. Furthermore they gave this habit of substitutions without asking. Like if they are out of one bread they'll just swap it for another and not tell you. This is just a horrible panera all around. I e-mailed panera hq and they just said we will work on it- they didn't.

5 stars for this Panera location. Super busy but always pretty quick service and they get the order right. Thanks guys!

I stopped at Panera when I was a little bit rushed and ordered just a sandwich. Unfortunately, I was even more rushed when I finally got my sandwich. The lone person making sandwiches was embroiled in a discussion about work hours with another Panera employee and she stopped more than once to discuss her issues rather than paying much attention to the line of waiting customers. She also didn't make my sandwich very well, I ordered a whole Italian Combo sandwich and instead of it being made as a whole sandwich that was cut in the middle, I received two sloppily made half sandwiches and one of the half sandwiches had the top bread pointing north to south while the bottom was pointing east to west. Also, I believe I usually get a pickle with my sandwich and this time I did not. Most Panera's are really good. This one; not so much. I will probably try them again, but I am not in any rush to go back to this location.

Went here on my lunch as it is close to work and I was craving a Steak and White Cheddar Panini. I come to find out it is no longer on their menu, but they can still make it minus the caramelized onions. Fair enough, regular onions will do. While the service was quick for a Panera during a lunch rush (I was in and out with my order in under 10 minutes) all of the staff from the lady who took my order to the guy who made it all looked and sounded super depressed. It was as if their beloved mascot Petey the Panera Panda had just died or something. I get it, your life goals when you were growing up probably did not including working at a slightly above minimum wage job in the food industry, but for God's sake man try to smile! It actually takes less energy and muscles to smile than to frown. Science!

Bad experience!!!!!! Ordered a whole sandwich and a half of a avocado blt. I only received half of my whole sandwich and had to have them make me the other half. The half of the avacoda sandwich was the size of a half of a half with no avocado, and neither were grilled which they said they would do. The staff making the food seemed to be out of it and very confused. Not sure if they were new or what but I expect more better service. The kids meal should come with a drink as well. Not sure I'll be coming back for a good while. Very over priced seems they are being to skimpy now.

What: Expect a wait for mostly overpriced items. However, the sandwiches and salads are affordable (and delicious) with the "You Pick 2" option. The cafe and wi-fi study experience make it an enjoyable place with great soups and pastries. Lots of power outlets at this particular location for that techie's power-hungry gear. When: Usually busy at lunch and at dinnertime. Weekday lunch clientele are more sophistocated than weekends. Must: Grab a friend or two and get the #LongTable. Try the appropriately seasonal Autumn Squash Soup with Roasted Turkey Avocado BLT on flatbread. Avoid the baguette and chips. Pickle is a must. Great Arnold Palmers, and do not forget the Panera card for an occasional reward (stingy with rewards). Cream of tomato soup is always a winner; load with black pepper for a kick. Can't go wrong with the Frontega Chicken or the Bacon Turkey Bravo on Tomato Basil. #RajivRecommends85% #DetroitCity #Chain #FoodReview #BattleoftheLongTable

I usually like Panera but I'm not sure I'm on board with their new pasta dishes. The bolognese was good, but the pasta was slightly overcooked, and the 'Large' portion was so tiny, I cannot imagine what the small portion would look like. I'd say it was about the same size or smaller than a 'small' at Noodles & Co, and so a Panera large is half the size of a Noodles & Co regular. And that's $10 for a tiny serving of pasta!! I kind of wondered if they accidentally gave me a 'small'...

As far as Panera's go, this one is pretty top notch. Avoid the lunch rush if you can, but if you have no other alternative it's still a pretty quick line. The best part about this particular location is the amount of seating. I could probably fit my entire graduating class in this Panera. I ordered the half turkey sandwich with the tomato soup. Ummm, Delish. Perfect portions that wont make you feel like you over ate.

Panera: Fast food that doesn't feel like you are eating fast food. And that's a good thing. On our way around town, we stopped at Panera to get some lunch. We didn't want to have a long, lingering lunch, thus our choice of Panera. Very clean, efficient location. Our food was ready minutes after we ordered. My meal (the mediterranean sammich and a cup of tomato soup) was good and filling. The baked goodies are always tempting, but I usually say no. This is definitely a solid and quick lunch/dinner option in Troy.

I love Panera's frozen mocha, egg souffle, pastries, and broccoli cheese soup. This location, like all locations I've been to, has a much older crowd. It gets very busy around lunch and mid-morning on weekends. The staff is fast and friendly and the restaurant is clean.

This is a great place. I use it to meet clients that are further North and always get food beforehand. It's busy but I've always been able to find a table, the staff is very friendly, and the food comes out quick. I absolutely love the salads, sandwiches, and soup here and always come here because it's good healthy food. Well... It is healthy if you follow their calorie guidelines on their menu. Otherwise you can end up getting a 900 calorie sandwich. Sure it tastes good but don't think that absolutely everything here is healthy. My favorite meal is the You Pick Two (1/2 harvest turkey salad and black bean soup). Excellent meal and healthy. It's so good!

FREE Wi-Fi! What more can I say? Okay, free wi-fi, comfortable lounge chairs, friendly service, mini lemon bundt cakes, Republic of Tea tea, asiago cheese bagels and plenty on parking.* Is that better? Get here before noon. As I type this there is a line of more than a dozen people. It's great having the summer off! * I didn't use the restroom so I cannot counter kelly w.'s review.

Panera is wonderful, in my opinion. I think the whole concept of a chain deli with nutritious and yummy options as a whole is just a wonderful business idea. Panera is even more than that. My dining experience is wonderful. Customer service superb and they have locations all over the place, usually. They keep their menu updated and I am a number 1 fan of the U-Pick 2!

I have never been disappointed at a Panera, and this was no exception. I was there for a dinner meetup with some friends, and it was not busy at all (6pm-ish). The staff was nice and friendly, and gave me a knowing look when I said I needed a few minutes to look over the menu. My soup and sandwich combo was tasty (as is everything I've ever ordered!). Someone came by to take our trays/garbage, which was a nice surprise - and a wonderful thing, as we were all there with babies!

Panera Bread is a popular chain for baked goods, such as breads, breakfast pastries and bagels. It's also a popular spot for the lunch crowd, and this Troy location is no exception. The food is always good at Panera, and the bowl of broccoli cheddar soup, sour dough roll and fresh lemonade I had were tasty as expected. Panera's menu offers sandwiches, salads, soups and some specialty coffee drinks. The menu also offers the option to order a combo of two items (cup of soup, half a salad or half a sandwhich), which is great for a lunch or dinner. The bakery/cafe has quite a bit of seating. I can't imagine not being able to find a table, but it has a steady flow of customers. The cafe also offers free Wi-Fi internet access, so sometimes you see students hunched over a laptop wearing headphones. I had lunch there a few days ago, and the service was quick and friendly. Once you pick up your food from the end of the counter, you are free to sit wherever without any further interaction with the cafe staff. Panera is a great place to meet up with a friend for lunch or to have a lunch business meeting. It's not really family friendly as the menu is geared toward a non-kid crowd, and customers are generally looking for some peace and quiet.

somehow I feel dirty. Last week I met my parents for lunch at Panera. After ordering I went to the restroom to wash my hands. Upon entering I was welcomed by one of the most heart felt grunts coming from one of the three stalls. I know, I know, sometimes when you gotta go--you gotta go. Mid drying sesh the stall swings open and out walks a Panera employee. Gross-- that's the last thing I want to have resonating in my brain as I go and sit down to eat my lunch. At this point you're probably expecting a higher-level of maturity from a twenty-five-year old... to my credit, I will attest that this is the first time I have spoken of the incident because I was so scarred. I don't know even really know what to say, but all I DO know is that CAN'T be good for business. I tend to get the same thing EVERY time.
