We order from here frequently for work luncheons and we have not been disappointed with the quality or timeliness of the orders. Friendly and prompt service.

Lovely Panera bread location, nestled in a popular Troy plaza. This place gets crowded, so try to know what you want to have in advance, and look for the shortest line. If you dine in, finding a table won't be a problem. This place is huge and there are always clean tables to choose from. If you're new to Panera, try any one of their U-Pick Two combinations (half soup, half salad, or half sandwich). I enjoy their Greek salad and tomato soup. The soup comes with asiago croutons, yum! Did I mention the side item apple, chips, or french baguette?? Also if you order an entree, you can get a dessert for .99. Great Panera!

Worst experience thus far. No one had told us nor was there a sign stating there were two seperate lines one for lunch and one for bakery. Didn't realize till after 15 min waiting because the cashier asked are you ordering bakery foods or no. So we left and are getting lunch at 5 guys

This is my go-to place when I need a good lunch. Even when it's busy, the line moves pretty quickly and there are usually tables outside to eat, so it's a great break from the office grind. The broccoli cheddar soup is seriously addictive! Good stuff.

We visit this Panera frequently, consistently good food and service. The associates in particular are always friendly and ready to serve. Easy to access location wise but parking can be shotty. And it's dangerous when you have to park on the other side of the main traffic flow lane as people drive too fast and with my little ones I'm always paranoid. What I like about Panera is they are consistent with their food. Bread is always fresh, sandwiches/soups/salads are good, and their bakery has some tasty treats. My favorite cookie though, the shortbread, is a hot commodity and typically if we come here for dinner they are all gone. Major bummer for my taste buds, but not my waste line :)

Everyone already knows I love Panera. The good is consistent and tasty and they have good healthy options. The reason why this location doesn't get more stars is because they are sooooo slow, the cashiers always seem confused. The manger needs to get them to step it up a bit and they too could get 4 or 5 stars.

The food is good, the customer service is not. I went in to grab lunch to go, got up to the counter and I knew 1 of the 2 sandwiches that I wanted. I ordered the turkey avocado BLT. I was still looking at the menu, when the guy behind the counter said "do you want a drink?" with an attitude... I said no. He told me my total. I said that I wasn't done ordering... I ordered the Sierra Turkey on Asiago, and a bowl of soup. I also added in a bag of the mini chocolate chip cookies. The guy that rang me up was just so rude, he acted as if I was intruding on his time. Barely gave me the time of day. I ended up spending $28. The food was delicious as usual, but the guy's gotta go.

This is where we do work. By that I mean hold staff meetings every other Tuesday mornings for a few hours. They have a nice long table, good food and drink, and Internet. Sure we could meet at our office but getting out helps build the team, be more social and generally enjoy your job more. Somehow this Panera seems uniquely setup to accommodate the new mobile workforce and you'll find plenty of your compatriots here.

My husband and I were looking for a quick, yet healthy alternative for lunch today. Therefore, we chose Panera Bread. We both opted for the new Flat Bread Chicken with Slaw. We paired it with a Greek Salad, which was amazing! We also had a choice of apple or bread. I chose bread, to bring home for my son, because he loves Panera Bread. My husband chose apple, which I took for a snack later. Portions are very reasonable. The cashier was very pleasant and helpful and the ordering process is simple and painless. We moved on down the line to wait for our order. My husband had some questions about their bread and whether or not they contain preservatives or other additives and the gentleman, I am going to assume was a manager, was very helpful and informative. He did advise us that Panera is working on healthier alternatives, which is a bonus! It is hard to eat out without worrying about GMO's, preservatives, dyes and other crap that is put in our food. Looking forward to eating more often at Panera since I can afford it!

Overall the best place to eat. They have a welcoming attitude and treat you with customer service that exceeds. Never a complaint with the food and personally I love the Panini's and general and amazing place to grab food to go or dine in! Late hours are pretty convenient to!

Regarding Coffee... They never ever ever change out the milk that's out on the counters. I have mentioned it SEVERAL times that they leave milk out with an expired time stamp. I complained maybe 3 times in 2 weeks and last time I went (after calling corporate) they no longer have the sticker with the time stamp. EWWWW A regional manager was to call me and they still haven't. What horrible service.

This is the worst. I'm fed up with this place. 90% of the time when I've order the Mediterranean Veggie sandwich half the ingredients are missing. For example, yesterday I ordered it and this is what the whole sandwich consisted of: one large piece of lettuce, 2 slices of cucumber, 3 small slices of onion, a few pieces of red pepper, a few crumbles of cheese, no tomatos, and no special spread! The spread makes the sandwich. I was so mad. Really, do you think it's okay to have that few ingredients on a WHOLE sandwich?! That's not even enough for a half sandwich. This has happened to me so many times and I just tell myself "it was just this one time." Now it's almost every time! That is a result of very poor management, training, and quality improvement opportunities. Panera Bread just doesn't care about the quality of their products. I'm convinced because of how many times I've actually paid for their poor quality sandwichs that are overpriced. I'm not eating here again.

This review covers both the restaurant and bakery. If just the restaurant had been reviewed, would have given a 5 star rating. Pastas, soups, and salads were all great! Employees were friendly, facility was clean and comfortable. The baked goods we bought to take with us, however, we're quite another story. They were generally dry and bland tasting - nothing we would purchase again. Possibly we're just spoiled by what Great Harvest in Birmingham offers, but quality-wise, there is simply no comparison. So, we'll be back to this Panera for food, but will pass on their bakery items. An Update: Have to give credit where credit is due. Since the initial review, have visited the location twice. As the review stated, their cafe selections are spot on. Especially good pasta and salad choices. Just to be sure the bad experience with bakery items wasn't a fluke, we purchased more bakery offerings at each of the two following visits. All items we bought were very good. Brownies, chocolate pastry, scones, and bagels were all enjoyed. So the first experience WAS a fluke! Changed the 4 star to a 5 star rating with pleasure!

It's Panera, so the food will be consistently good. Just be forewarned it's super easy for the calories and carbs to add up. But there are a few downfalls at this specific location. Our table was left almost dripping wet after it was wiped down. The temperature change was drastic: Hot, almost humid on a chilly day, and then cold air blasting about 10 minutes later. The napkins were empty the entire time, and the layout is odd. It has a long table to make it more communal, which I haven't seen before at Panera. It's just not smartly laid out because it's seriously six inches in front of other booths.

I visit this location often, but then they started to act like real jerks. I'm not a big fan of managers being rude to their employees, especially in front of customers, but even more so, I don't like getting sass when I try to order breakfast three minutes after they stopped serving it. I mean, come on, most of their stuff takes seconds to prepare. Slap a microwaved egg patty on a bagel for me and be done with, but nooooo.

This place is actually one of the best daytime spots for getting work done, if you're the sort that tends to consider coffee houses your office, like me. The Internet is free and fast, there are plenty of outlets about, and this is pretty much the only place I've been that's coffee house-esque where I've never had problems with seating. Even better, I can usually snag one of the four-person tables for myself. Granted, I'm always conscious of the restaurant's flow and I wouldn't stay at one of the larger tables if the place was busy, but, I mean, the restaurant is huge. I've never had an issue. Another great thing is the self-serve coffee station. Free refills, anybody? As far as the food is concerned, it's great and relatively healthy, considering. The only downside is that the food is a little pricey, but... if you want something cheap, go to McDonalds. The food here is much better. My personal favorites are the French onion soup and paninis, but I'm confident that everything on the menu is good. Staff is friendly, seating is plentiful, both the food and coffee are good. What else could you ask for? ...oh, wait, I'd ask that it was open later than 9pm.

Wanted to get some low fat not heavy food. The kind of food where you do not feel like you need to exercise for 2+ hours to loose the calc. This place got just what I was looking for. They still need some training on their bread to get 5 staris, but their salat was good and just what I was looking for. Bonus is for sure their free wifi - great!

One of the best Panera Bread locations. The restaurant is large and broken down into 3 little areas. The staff is always friendly and cordial. The food of course is excellent! Everything from their bagels to their salads, everything is made with the best ingredients and is always tasty. I love getting the "Pick Two" lunch combos. It gives you some choices for lunch. I always go to this location to study, read, surf the web, etc.

I really want to give this Panera 2-2.5 stars but I will give it a 3 since the food is always good. THE GOOD: -Friendly staff -Didn't take too long to order and get my food, despite a long line (to be expected, since it was noon on a weekday). Something interesting, too: the cashier was like "would you like to know the ingredients of your sandwich or salad today?" I don't think they've done that before at Panera. THE OKAY: -Kind of a strange layout for this Panera, it was large but it made it seem smaller. That could've been since it was very busy too, though. -My salad looked like it had almost no dressing on it, the dressing was all at the bottom. I asked if it had dressing and they offered me additional dressing to put on it, which was good. THE BAD: -I went to use the restroom after ordering, and one of the employees was cleaning it. She said to come back later. I came back 5 minutes later (REALLY had to use the restroom), she's still cleaning, she says to come back in 5 minutes. It's like ... um, okay. (I have a stomach condition where usually when I need to use the restroom, I need to use it immediately ... luckily, today I was able to wait. But I thought it strange they'd be cleaning the restroom during peak lunchtime hours, unless it really, really needed cleaning or something.) -The A/C was either being wonky or not working - the front part of the restaurant was very hot, the back part not as hot. And it's about 90 degrees out today. I wouldn't rush back to this Panera anytime soon but it IS the closest one by me. I might try the one on Big Beaver Rd/Rochester before this one, though.
