I had the House Special Lo Mein and egg roll, in general the food was OK, it was a little bland and lacking some flavor but wasn't bad. The pint size was a good portion, over flowing and enough for two people. Shrimp and chicken were cooked well but pork was a funny color. Appearance of place was poor, but not dirty. Prices fair...not too expensive. Would I try this place again? Yes... I would try something more popular like sweet and sour chicken and if they can't do that great, then I would stop going.

Singapore noodles - excellent. They gave me free Chinese donuts freshly fried. Lo Mein is killer! I will be back.

In my continuing search for a good Chinese food carry out place, I finally decided to try New Wing Hing. I had gone there in one of its previous incarnations, Wing Hing Phat, and was not that impressed. New Wing Hing seems a step up. The menu is big, an 11'' x 17" monster sheet full of Apps, Fried Rice, Chow Mein / Chop Suey, Vegetarian (8, count 'em, 8 dishes!), Chef's Suggestions (including Eggplant in Garlic Sauce!), Beef, Pork, Chicken, Noodles, Seafood and even steamed stuff for the truly health-conscious. My initial meal, Tofu Szechuan Style, had good flavor (aside from the five spice tofu, not exactly my favorite) and good veggies. The spring roll was better than average. They did not blanch at adding extra vegetables to my wife's usually veg-poor Sesame Chicken (which she enjoyed). I did have a slight problem understanding and being understood by the person who took my order on the phone. In this (apart from Trizest, which my wife is not that into) decent Chinese food desert, it is worth it. New Wing Hing is a contendah. Updates will tell.

Lots of food, great flavor, and very cheap. This is the best Chinese food in the area. They always provide quick service and they never forget items in the order. The Sesame Chicken is ridiculously good and they definitely don't skimp on the sauce. I always order the bigger size so I can have leftovers.

If I could give them -20 stars, I would. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I stopped to pick up a carryout order and saw the owner on the floor killing bugs in the kitchen. He was literally laying on the floor swatting and his wife had a broom in her hand. They never washed their hands before proceeding to cook. Obviously this place is infested with bugs and they know about it. I told him to cancel my order and he got very upset. There was another lady in line awaiting her carryout, and she also cancelled. The whole experience really disgusted me. It really makes me wonder about their overall cleanliness. I've actually contacted the health department because of it.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
