Went here today for the first time, and with coworkers. I grabbed a free appetizer coupon for signing up for their Amici Club online (woohoo!) and we had the mozzarella caprese. It was good but kind of hard to eat for a group of 5, it was like one big mozzarella piece surrounded by tomatoes. Waitservice was friendly and fast. I had an $8 off thing for Dine Rewards as well which didn't get taken off, but I wasn't 100% sure I could use that with the appetizer coupon too. I got the pizza/soup combo, I'm not a huge soup fan but the lentil/sausage soup was decent. Pizza is smaller than I would have expected but tasted great, and probably a better portion size for me anyways. I got a sausage/pepperoni pizza and it was decently spicy, as well. I'm coming back here Tuesday for a tasting I got invited to, can't wait!

I went here for my birthday because I have a deep and passionate love for Italian food and I couldn't have been more disappointed! I had the Johnny, and my girlfriend had the wood grilled chicken. We both got mashed potatoes as our side and they were extremely runny. My steak was overcooked, and the service was terrible. They did not clear our plates until the next course arrived creating a giant mess on the table. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone as it is responsible for the worst birthday of my life. If I wanted this crap I would've went to olive garden.

LOVE the lasagna, the Zucchini Fritte and the Fettuccine Carrabba. Salads are so-so. Definitely save room for the chocolate dessert! I do not remember the name of the dessert but it is chocolate and delicious. We have been to this location a few times now. Ask for Clarinzo! Even if he makes a mistake he owns up to it and apologizes; he doesn't try to blame the kitchen-awesome! Great server.

The food is okay but over priced. They've recently revamped the menu to try to compete more with the Olive Garden's out there but personally I feel they still fall short. The ambiance in the restaurant is nice. Service is good. Location is good.

I'm a little puzzled with some of the low mark reviews. My experiences have been great. To be fair I've only been here for lunch. Generally when I come in, they're not real busy. The space is very pleasant, the Carrabba's restaurants tend to be very nice. Staff is generally friendly and efficient. The soup is one of the best things on the menu, I love the minestrone. Their pizzas are also hand tossed and very tasty. If you get started on the bread you won't stop! A person can be in and out for lunch in under 45 minutes for under $10, in this neighborhood that's doing awesome! Don't be scared off from this place for lunch, I can highly recommend it.

Eh, it was alright. Better than a lot of places I reviewed and I would go again. Food was tasty to me, but I had lunch. Ate a soup and flat bread both of which were satisfying. With those I had a glass of shutter home for the price of the entire bottle. The atmosphere is jazzy and ambient but I did turn around at the door once after I saw children running around the tables (unacceptable, one star out for that). I see that people below comment on a very good service.. all the staff I encountered was attentive but slow, spoke in double negatives and was rather poorly mannered. It wasn't too bad however, It didn't strongly affect my experience.

Visited this location tonight. I would say it's so- so. The lobster mac and cheese was absolutely delicous. My partner ordered the chicken marsala and for 15 dollars it was three small pieces of chicken so if you are a little more on the hungry side don't order that. Even with the small portion it was good. Our service wasn't the greatest. Our waitress was no where to be found. We also sat without water for about 15 minutes. Calamari for and appetizer was great! Overall, I would go back. It wasn't too busy for the time of day on a Saturday. The food was hot and delicous. The service could have been as little better but the food and atmosphere over weighed that for me.

Last Sunday 3/1/15, we gave the Troy Carraba's a second chance. I explained to manager Tier, about our terrible previous experience. She gave us server Clarinzo. He lived up to another yelpers review-amazing! He definitely gets 5 stars for the wonderful service. Attentive, kept our drinks full & just happy that we were there. He shook my husband's hand and greeted each one of our party of 6. With his suggestion- started with the calamari. It was very delicious had a very light batter and wasn't greasy. Every one at the table loved it! Entrees: 2 orders SHRIMP AND SCALLOP LINGUINA ALLA VODKA. One rated it an 8/10, the other 10/10. 1 order FETTUCCINE WEESIE rating 9/10 generous portion- had leftovers 1 order CIOPPINO nice seafood variety. 1 order CHICKEN BRYAN rating 8/10 smaller portion for being the double portion. 1 order SPIEDINO DI MARE rating 4/10 definitely NOT worth the almost $20 for the small portion. The taste was good but nothing to rave about. The bill came to $122. The nice thing is that dine rewards took $20 off.

Great food, great service! This is one of the nicer Carrabba's. We were seated quickly. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. I recommend the Chicken Marsala.

After being displeased at a different restaurant, we left and came here and glad we did. First, the staff was great. Even though my food came out cold, the way it was handled was pleasing and that's why they still get a 5 star. Drinks and portions are great. Glad we tried it. We will be back.

Chicken trio is good- pricey though. The Marsala was the best I would order that as a meal next time. It ate like a steak- thick, juicy (get your head outta the gutter I'm talkin about the chicken!) and flavorful. I didn't care for the other two as much I liked the Marsala! The chicken Brian wasn't that good I gave that one away lol. Peach sangria went very well with it! Would order that drink again forsure. Thanks Ron C for the recommendation on the trio! It came with a soup or salad and a side. I had a Caesar salad and a side of mashed potatoes. The salad was really good! We also ordered the Caramelized onion and bacon flatbread. Wouldn't recommend that as an app. Very sweet and barely any bacon. The fettuccine Alfredo was good as was the shrimp and scallop pasta dish (forgot the name) The chicken parm on the other hand tasted like it was frozen food. And get this! We had leftovers of it and after warming it up to eat it there was a nice long black hair hidden under all the cheese! YUMMMMM Service was great but the food was just ok, nothing I would run back to.

Well heading east on M-59 to hit the original Carrabbas seemed to challenging at 5pm on a Monday, so heading south & west to this location seemed wiser, and IT WAS! Arrived near 5:30 , the new exterior is eye catching, I thought the rear lot with no rear entrance a bit odd, unless Carrabbas corporate thinks it looks good to see patrons/guests entering on Big Beaver [ IDK] Anyways we were both promptly & cheerfully greeted & seated in a cozy /comfortable booth. Before I get to the food, the bride remarked that she felt like she was "On Vacation' as the interior & color scheme resembled places you see while on vacation. Dark earthy colors, darker woods..theme & accent lighting , just a very cool/new vibe! Alison was our server, sweet, kind, smiling & very efficient.Plus she knew the Monday promo backwards & forward It was quite the deal $12 or $15 or $18 which included an appetizer or dessert & a entree w sides/pasta The bride chose the $15 Italian Classic , which was lasagna & chicken parmesan ,/spicy chicken soup & grilled veggie medley , her appetizer was arancini A+ I chose the Chicken Bryan topped with goat cheese,sun-dried tomatoes & a lemon basil/butter sauce. + The infamous sausage/lentil soup & angel hair with meat sauce. our dessert was tiramisu A+ Chicken Bryan is truly a one of a kind signature dish.. And the Tiramisu was a Flamboyant presentation & taste. Alison..packed up our multiple leftovers & tossed in some extra bread, olive oil & herbs. Also worth mentioning was another server/ who doubled doing expo, Melanie she delivered our entree's and was quite witty & knowledgeable about the foods & a charmer. I cannot stress , how this location, staff & food exceeded our expectations.

New to the Big Beaver franchise row is this location of Carrabba's. I had never been to any Carrabba's franchise, so I have no basis for comparison to other locations. The location is hard to miss; right off the Big Beaver West exit and next to the Bonefish Grill. There's ample parking in the back. We came on a Friday night, nearly 2 weeks after their grand opening, and the place was pretty busy. The decor is rustic, with a slight modern edge, but predictable for an Italian restaurant. Even though they were pretty full, we got sat immediately in a cozy booth in the middle section of the restaurant. Nice booths; very comfy! Because we were craving some calamari ($9.90), that was on our radar to try. We then decided to order sirloin marsala and spiedino di maré ($18.90 for both) as entrées. Husband got a Sam Adams draft ($5.05). Hands down the sirloin was the winner of the two. Perfectly seasoned, nicely grilled, and to the desire medium rare. Served with a side of cavatappi pasta, the portion was great. The pasta was lightly tossed in a chunky tomato sauce. Unfortunately, the spiedino di maré was a disappointment. WAY TOO SALTYYYY....and the portion was skimpy for the price. Both entreés were priced the same, yet the amount of seafood we received consisted of 4 itty bitty shrimp and 4 sea scallops. I chose a side of vegetables, and they were tasty, but too oily and salty. I think that the breading on the seafood was unnecessary, as it took away from the flavors of the shrimp and scallop. Had it just simply been pan-seared, the seafood would have been allowed to shine on its own, and probably be less salty. Husband did notice that the expediter added additional salt to each dish that came out after what the executive chef had already plated. Why?! Calamari didn't taste fresh and the breading was too thick, and though it didn't have that old oil color, some pieces were very chewy and not tender. Marinara sauce was good though, but not worth getting again. We each received soups with our meals, and they had a lentil sausage soup that was good, but once again, TOO MUCH SALT. We kept on chugging down glasses of water. Our server Chelsea was wonderful and delightful. She was so fun to talk to, and had great energy. Ask for her section if you go; she's so fun and cute! If things were solely based on her service, I'd be giving 5 stars, but because our food was entirely too salty, it's a 3. I'd like to come back for the sirloin marsala, but for sure, I'll have to tell them to add less salt next time for everything.

I have been here twice the first time was great I got the fettichini carraba and a couple other apps and it was amazing! But the second Time I ordered carry out maybe 30 minutes till close and I ordered the same pasta and It was terrible it was so oily and greasy not fettichini Alfredo it was like oily greasy pasta I work in a restaurant as a server so I get that the kitchen wants to start cleaning early to get out of there but my pasta was so bad I don't even think I want to try again!

We swung in here looking for some decent italian food and were sadly disappointed. The biggest issue is how over priced everything was--dinner for two with 1 beer ended up being about 50 bucks. I also don't recommend the baked ravioli--it is actually breaded and fried, not what we were expecting.

Worst ever service and overpriced food that is not worth the price and wait staff dont care we had to ask for everything. Not going back.

It may be a chain but I like it! There's enough on the menu to suit most people. I especially enjoy some of their appetizers (like this one goat cheese and bread number).

Came here on a Wednesday right after work. We started off ordering the arancini appetizer. About 15 minutes later, the waiter arrives back - not with the appetizer - but to inform us they are out of the arancini. Strike one. Moving on.. The waiter asks if we want a different appetizer. We decline and say we'll save room after dinner for the Apple Crostata dessert. We order dinner. I have the Carabba Classic (chicken parm & lasagne). No complaints. It's typical chain restaurants Italian food. My b/f on the other hand decides to try something new: the Baked Parmesan Ravioli. It's obviously premade and frozen as it had a horrible freezer burned aftertaste. We didn't complain though just boxed up what we didn't eat and prepare to order dessert. Remember we declined to order another appetizer after they were out of the first and TOLD the waiter we'd have the apple dessert later. So, we place the dessert order and wait.... About 10 minutes later, who I presume to be the manager, comes over to the table to announce they are out of the apple crostata dessert also. She ask if there's another dessert we'd like and we say no and explain this is the second item on the menu that they've been out of. You'd think she would offer a free appetizer or dessert on our next visit. Nope. Told us thank you and said she'd send the waiter with the bill. Italian already isn't at the top of my favorites especially chain Italian restaurants so my boyfriend paid terribly for this choice. Needless to say we will NOT be visiting this Carraba's again.

We had two excellent and attentive waiters here in the last year. Is it strange that I like this place because they offer many dishes cooked w lemon? The scallops, calamari and mussels are my faves. They have a great dining rewards program as well. In the summer you can sit outside and in the corner there is a little table away from everyone;)

Meh. Perfect explanation. I don't think it was worth the price. The meal was good, but we spent a lot for it. $40 for 2 lunches no drinks is a lot in my book. And the service wasn't great either. The point is with all the great spots in Troy, this just wouldn't be a first pick of mine.

We had a gift card, so we stopped here for dinner. I have lowered expectations with chain restaurants. We've been to the Novi location and always had a decent experience. Apparently we went on Homecoming night, so it was a little chaotic. Staff seemed a little frazzled. Our waitress was very nice and tried to be attentive. She brought us plates for our bread, but had to go back for new ones because they were all dirty. When our appetizer arrived, she brought more little plates. Guess what? My plate was dirty. We ordered one of the flatbreads. It was just OK. I was not a fan of the sauce. It tasted like it was out of a can. The salad was really sad. It was literally thrown on a plate. It had shredded carrots, lettuce, and a couple of black olives w/ dressing. Our main entrees were pretty good. We ordered the small plates, which was fine. My knife was a little dirty though, so I used my husband's knife. There seems to be an issue getting clean plates and utensils here. We tend to eat at locally owned spots, so I doubt we'll be back unless we get another gift card.

First visit, which I would have given a 1 star was unpleasant. My husband and I sat at the bar, which was pure chaos. The bartenders were so confused and overwhelmed I actually felt bad for them. It stressed me out. I telephoned after leaving and informed a manager about our experience and he sent me a $25 gift card to come back and give them another try. Considering they are fairly new at this location I figured a second try would be fair. This time we chose to sit in the dining area. We were greeted timely and our waiter was not at all familiar with the menu or the dishes. I find this very odd. I worked at a brewery in Fort Myers and they offered the wait staff samples of all appetizers, entrees and desserts daily prior to serving our patrons. I have also owned restaurants and make sure my employees are familiar with the product. I thought they had a bread basket, but we never did receive one. There were 4 of us and our food was okay. I had the Shrimp and Scallop Linguine and the others, I don't know because it really was nothing to rave about. Will I be returning, probably not...I have to be honest, Olive Garden is much better.

Very reasonably priced meals, and the food is good...but not really memorable. Food comes out quickly and I was very impressed there's a staff member who stands by the kitchen and will raise his hand every time an entree comes out so the waitstaff know to come and pick up their trays. He also inspects each dish before it goes out to the table. What missed the mark was our waitress. She had maybe 4 tables including ours and walked past our table several times not noticing our empty glasses. I had to finally ask for a refill. So she seemed very focused on one table at a time instead of multitasking several needs at once. Maybe just inexperience? Overall, we may stop back in if we need a quick meal. But this is definitely not a place I'd say, "oooh, let's go!"

I've debated between 2-3 stars for the last few days, but I've decided to stick to 2 stars. The good: - We got a table (for 2) immediately when we walked in ~8:45-9:00 PM on a Saturday. - Calamari - Bread was free - They offer Coke products - Hostesses were very nice The bad: - Chicken soup tasted way too salty to me, which says a lot considering I eat an abnormal amount of McDonald's and am desensitized to junk/salty foods. I think progresso's chicken noodle soup is better. - Chicken parmesan tasted frozen, exactly as another yelper described. GROSS. - Garlic mashed potatoes tasted like they came from a box. - Service: our waitress was having a bad day (which I totally understand), but was it necessary to take it out on us?! It was so bad that I considered calling a manager over until she told me why her day was so bad, at which point I felt bad so kept my mouth shut. When she put the bread and plates down, she did so without speaking or even looking at us..she was just staring off into space over my head. She was SO RUDE and not the least bit friendly...she didn't even warm up until our entrees came out. The worst part? I don't even know her name bc she didn't introduce herself to us. I can confidently say we will not return for frozen-dinner-quality food and rude service. Maggiano's is right down the street. Just go there and save yourself the frustration.

the good: our server was really nice, and tried really hard to make our experience great. the food tasted good, but... the bad: the food was cold. all of it. verging on ice cold. the ugly: the staff was VACUUMING. during full dinner service. at 8pm.

I chose Carrabba's because neither the person I was meeting nor I had been there before, and we figured it would be a good bet. We got there at 5:00 on a Tuesday afternoon, and it was not busy at all. We were seated right away and were almost immediately greeted by a waiter who seemed very nice but whom we couldn't understand. It happened to be a free wine tasting night, and he proceeded to explain which wines they had available. It was obvious that he was unfamiliar with wine; he pronounce Merlot "Mer-LOTT", emphasis on the "T". There were apparently 3 whites & 3 reds available, and somehow, he decided that my friend should have 2 of the whites and that I should have 2 of the reds. Neither one of us recalled ever having told him what we preferred. Now, granted, this friend and I hadn't seen each other in 10 years and were doing more chatting that perusing of the menu, but we found it annoying that the waiter kept coming back every few minutes to see if we were ready to order. A little observation would have told him that we weren't. We did get tired of his constant returns, so we picked what we wanted, hoping it would stave him off a little. It didn't. He brought bread right away. It was very good, and we both liked the herbs that he blended with olive oil on the plate. Our salads were plentiful but boring. My friend got the Caesar, and I got the House. I didn't ask what she thought of hers, but mine was nondescript: lettuce, a few shredded carrots & a couple olives. The dressing was already on it -- I wasn't even given a choice of what I wanted. We we were only perhaps halfway through our salads when our entrees came. She got the baked ravioli which looked nice, with cheese baked on top. I had the mezzaluna, which was described as moon-shaped ravioli stuffed with spinach and chicken. I think I saw a bit of green, but I don't think I could identify anything chicken-like. It must have been minced! None of the flavors in mine came through. Salt was the overwhelming thing that I tasted. We both ordered tea & were brought 1 cup each, no teapot of hot water as is done in most restaurants, and one teabag. At least he brought sweetener without being asked. We decided to share a dessert. The waiter kept trying to get us to order the tiramisu trio even after we said we weren't interested in that. Instead, we got some brownie thing that had hot fudge and some kind whipped cream-like topping. The overwhelming flavor of that one was just sweet. Again, no particular flavor stood out. We felt rushed from the moment we sat down, like we were a bother. The waiter never missed a chance to make his presence known. He came back at least every 10 minutes all evening. While it was true that we ended up being there a long time (we were there for 5 1/2 hours!), he didn't know that when we first sat down. It was not at all welcoming. While several of the waitstaff asked how everything was & told us to stay as long as we liked, it was obvious that they wanted us to leave -- even when we'd only been there an hour. I think I will give them their wish and not return.

Stopped in for a late dinner; with the place almost empty, it was disappointing service as often the glasses were empty, for too long. Then when we went to check out, I told the waitress that I was part of the loyalty club to which she asked me for my card; I told her when I signed up they told me I didn't need a card just know the phone number I used to register. She flatly didn't believe me and informed me that I needed a card (which I have since confirmed is not true).

Maybe my taste buds have changed or maybe it really is Carrabba's A group of us travelled out to Carrabba's hoping for a good italian meal. Seems that all the portion sizes have shrunk, including the sangria pitcher. We ordered a pitcher of sangria which probably would fill 4 wine glasses halfway and be done. It came with a ton of ice and a little too sweet so we ordered a bottle of wine and mixed half and half with the sangria. Our concoction was amazing! Food was just ok. I got a chicken dish that was unmemorable and shared the calamari (which was still good). Outstanding items: bread with dipping spices/oil, blackberry sangria and a bottle of wine to mix with it Would I come back? Probably not Would I recommend? Probably not Save yourself from a disappointing meal and find a local Italian place to go eat. I used to love this chain and would always have a leftover box b/c the meals were so huge. Guess the recession made them cut back on quantity and quality.

I really like this chain. It's the kind of place I take family or friends with family because it has a big selection, and they have a special atmosphere. As a bit of a restaurant snob, I typically don't like family dining McSperiences (Dead Lobster, Outwhack, the list goes on), but I really enjoy the food here and the service is better than most "nice" places around here. If you are looking for creative rotating weekly specials and trendy mixology cocktails, this place probably isn't for you, but what they do well, they do well consistently! Let's start with timing. They are fast. The bread will always be warm, the salad plates always just came out of the fridge, and you always will be blowing on your piping hot food. Everything is so tasty and portions are generous - you have to pace your bread/salad consumption so you can finish your entree. But why would you do that when you could have a three course meal, barely finish half of your entree, and have lunch the next day for 15 dollars. People who are complaining about prices here don't understand the game and need to wake up and listen up. You will have garlic breath for two days, but it's worth it. I've been seeing a lot of complaints about food here. I have been here countless times and I order the same thing every time. Fettuccine weesie and ceasar salad. Maybe it's my good fortune that I found the one good thing on the menu and never knew how bad everything else is. I may never know. This meal is what brings me back again and again. Judging by other reviews, I've also had great luck with the service which is superb about 98% of the time at this location and others. Not feeling lucky? Ask for Clarinzo. He is a true professional, and I have a business card to prove it.

Had their chicken & sirloin special. It was unbelievably good. I normally dont do reviews. But this place is worth every penny. SERVICE was beyond superb. The whole experience was pleasant. I never felt so well serviced that I actually enjoyed tipping. They even packed a full ice tea for my friend to go in a to go cup.

Again, thinking kids in mind when I go to places like this. I had never been to one of these chains but I was excited to try it because I am on my week long kids eat out expedition. This place has not been open long and you can tell by the service. I walk in with 3 children, a baby, and myself. The hostess goes to seat us in a small table of 4 which was scrunched up next to another table. I asked if I could sit at a booth since they were much larger and a ton of them were open. She said no because it is a fire hazard to put the highchair at the end. hahahha. What the what Seriously! Ummm no. I said the seat you are giving us is much more of a fire hazard seeing it cant even seat the amount of people in the party. I was just about to walk out when they came up with a solution of sitting us in a table that was bigger. None of what they said made sense and to be honest it set the tone for the rest of my dinning experience. Honestly, what are they going to do if they have a full house and someone comes in with a baby? Tell them they have to leave because of fire hazards. These guys better get it together before they lose more customers. If this is for real they have a "green" management team or maybe just not the bright. Then the waiter forgets the bread on the table. I have 4 kids here. The best way to make them and everyone else around us happy is to get the bread out, pronto. Nope, I had to ask for it about 15 mins after ordering because he forget. Then one of the kids at my table is lactose intolerant so she had to order her pizza without cheese and extra sauce. Yep, I think you know what is going to happen...wait for it, wait for it..yes they forgot! So she had to eat her food after us. So annoying. The food was terrible. I was hoping so bad they would have good food after this torture and because I hate writing bad reviews. I really wanted to give them a 3 but nope definitely not worthy in all areas. I mean they are really missing it here. The ravioli sauce tasted like canned chef boy are dee. Can any one say Puke Face. The only redeeming quality about this place was that the waiter tried to be nice but he did not really get it but he tried and that is worth something. He gave the kids a dough ball to play with. This was good very good and I like the offer. Other than that, this place was a disaster. I will never be back and I do not recommend this place for family dinning or if you are looking to have a good tasting meal.

The Cecilian chicken soup was awesome, spicy. The main course was spinach and portobello mushroom steak - unbelievable!!! The wait staff was nice, but not as attentive as we would have liked. The bathroom smelled like bleach - wonderful.

Appetizers seemed pre-prepared and were served cold and tired, as were the pasta sides. Entrees were hot and tasty, but for the price, everything should be cooked to order. No second chance with all of the better Italian options near-by. Even The Hills can serve hot pasta.

The service here is horrible. It was a Monday night and our waitress had probably 6 tables. We sat down and she promptly brought us waters. We said we needed just a few minutes. 10 minutes goes by and she finally takes our order. Like hello where did you go. Oh yeah you have like 6 tables in every section of this place. We get calamari which was super rubbery :( sadly overlooked. Also ordered minestrone soup and a salad. Salad - asked for house dressing on side- some runner brought out the worst looking salad I've seen drenched with oil and vinegar. Okayyy. Next comes the soup which had a bay leaf, a piece of cabbage and 3 beans and the soup was half filled in the cup. How is this minestrone?? During the meal she came and checked on us once. Had to wait for drink refills, all and all I would never return to this place. Just cheap frozen chain restaurant food. Blah. We were going to go to Vincettta garage but it was a very long wait. Should have stayed. Never disappointed there.

First things first, blackberry sangria=A+! I was meeting a friend. I am terrible at skimming the menu and conversation at the same time, so I looked up the menu and decided on the commercially advertised three course special with haddock as my main course. I didn't see the advertised special nor the haddock on the regular menu, so I asked the server. She said it was only available on Mondays. Hmmm, weird. I must have read it wrong, but I had sworn it was on their website under a "Today's Specials" tab. Not a big deal. I ordered the onion and bacon flatbread, decent, not bad, but not good enough to order again. The Caesar salad was delicious! I had chicken Bryan with fettuccine Alfredo as my main course, and it took all my disappointment over the missing potato crusted haddock from the menu. Both the chicken and the pasta were perfectly cooked. However, I was still curious about "my" mistake on the menu, so I looked it up and noticed there is a Monday special priced $3 lower, but also an everyday special. I plan on going back, so I shot them an email asking if this location does not participate. I received a phone call (which I was unable to answer and forgot to return), and then two days later a letter in the mail apologizing for the mixup, so both the service and sangria get an A+!

Valentines day, not so sweet here. We had never been to a Carrabbas before, nor will we again. We arrived and with a reservation, we were seated right away. The waitress came promptly, we got water all around. When the water came we ordered our en tree's mine speidini di mare (sp) a shrimp, scallop dish, roughly twenty dollars, it came with a salad and a side, I paid extra for the fettuccine Alfredo. First we had to ask for bread, then the salad arrived, it was the house, pale lettuce and colorless small salad, (weak). Before we could finish our Soup and Salads our Entrees arrived. Heres where the real disappointment begins. My Entree was 4 small shrimp and 4 small scallops with a small side of the fettuccine also very small. I am a small women and I left hungry. My husband and son got pasta dishes and my son at every bit of his, he's 14 and not big. Btw, the waitress new we were't pleased . A manager came around and we hesitatingly said it was fine (not interested in anything for being a pain). They didn't make any effort at this establishment. Don't waste your time or money here, go to Maggianos, much better value, for the same money with food to take home too.

I hate rating a businenss their first week open. We got there about 3:30 this afternoon. Not slow but not busy. We were sat by a young lady who took our drink orderes. About 5 or more minutes later another woman comes by to tell us the person that sat us is new and just a greeter. Someone else would be by for our orders. Still didin't have any drinks. Server came by, asked us for our orders. We mentioned we never got our drinks. Five minutes later we have two people bringing us drinks. We said fine, leave them all we will drink them all. My daughter loved her pork chops and my sister loved her Mahi Mahi that they kept call salmon. My other daughter and I were very "meh" with our pasta choices. I will say they had great soup. I may give this place one more chance as everyone that worked there were very nice but just getting drink and/or bread refill seemed to talk a long time. Like I said I would probably try it again but not sure. And on top of that they were out of draft beers because something broke (the CO2)? It's just not a great way to start out but hopefully they will iron out the kinks and if I hear rave reviews I'll give it another shot.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
