Decent food and service at a decent price. The quintessential downriver diner. Wish I lived closer to Trenton... no, I take that back.

Best corn beef hash in all downriver. None of that crap from the can. It's right around the corner from me and I have never had a bad breakfast or quick meal from this Coney Island. The servers have all been there for years and it's a great small town feel when they know almost everyone that walks in the door. This isn't a 5 star place but it's damn good at what it does.

I live around the corner from the place. I eat here often. What drives me nuts are the stale buns every time I order coneys to the point were I don't order them from here anymore. If anything your best bet would be to get a carry-out cup of chili and make the coneys at home. They try and smother it with coney sauce to fix and #Fail. Breakfast specials are pretty amazing as well as their pies Everything is reasonably priced and pretty good as far as all the food. But the coneys with the stale buns are unacceptable. Especially since they seem to cost more then most other coneys around the area. Expensive and just not that good. Zorbas is the way to go if your in the area and want good Detroit coney's. Mostly see old people who walk from near by retirement homes. Smells a lil like bengay at times :/ also NO CREDIT CARD/DEBIT Slider. BEWARE

I have never had their coneys, as the other reviewer has. I have had lots of other stuff on the menu, though, and it's all been good at the very least, and sometimes absolutely awesome. I recommend their breakfast specials. They know how to do your eggs right, and the toast is never burnt. Also, there is plenty of it for the (very cheap) price. My mom has an issue with one of the cooks because she always likes her burgers done on the griddle rather than charbroiled, and the one cook usually forgets to check the order for special instructions like that. But I think their charbroiled burgers are very good. Not what you'd get at R.P. McMurphy's, but you're not paying 9 dollars, either. The wait staff is extremely friendly (for Michigan) and will make you feel at home if you let them. This is my favorite restaurant in the Downriver area, and the only reason they get 4 stars instead of 5 is they need to clean the floor a little more thoroughly.
