I can't believe I lived in the area for 22 years and I have never eaten at this restaurant. Recently stopped in 2 weeks ago. Loved it. Good food friendly and good service. 3 visits since then

Nothing special at all. Came in based on the excellent reviews, but was not impressed. My family and I got breakfast, and my son was disappointed they didn't have waffles, but his pancakes were as good as any coney island would make. I got an omelette and the eggs were a little undercooked, but the portion was filling and the price was decent. My boyfriends omelette was filling and properly cooked but "not great." The bacon however was cooked perfectly. Service was ok because they were busy, and though the poor waitress never stopped running around, she was too busy too provide what I'd consider "good" service, like a coffee refill, or remembering we asked for ketchup, but again not her fault cuz they were packed. I really believe a lot of people think this place is awesome, and i actually have pretty low standards especially for local little diners cuz i love supporting the community. i plan on trying them again for lunch, but if it's not any better than breakfast it'll be my last visit. Pro's= fast, cheap, good portion Con's= minimally acceptable service, bland greasy food, kinda dirty interior (and not dirty in a quaint, local favorite diner kind of way. Dirty in a everything's covered in a film of years of grease that's never really been properly cleaned kind of way)

This was our first vist here but certainly won't be our last! We ordered breakfast, and I usually don't like biscuits and gravy, but my wife ordered some and they were amazing! As an added bonus, the staff were just wonderful! Looking forward to our next visit :)

I love this place! Family owned and operated and they make you feel like you're part of their family. The food is delicious. Definitely one of my faves!

It's small and almost feels like sitting in your aunt's kitchen. The staff is friendly and the food is a little better then a typical Coney. It's just so small. And the normal customers get their own coffee and napkins and what nots, that seemed unsanitary. I go once in a while.

Love all the family who works here! They make the experience great every single time we come in! The food is amazing. Literally whatever you get, they will cook exactly how you want it. Wonderful customer service & good! I love how old fashioned it is inside!

We love going to Philip's! We drove past it for about a year before we finally gave it a try and now it's one of our favorite places to go! They are only open until 2pm but serve breakfast and lunch all day. Our favorite are their burgers. My husband orders the ultimate burger which has bacon, ham, cheese, and all the fixings, and I love their classic cheeseburger, which is cooked to perfection every time! The staff is also very casual and laid back but friendly and they remember you! We will continue to go there as long as we live in the area!

Great quaint diner type place for breakfast. They make you feel like you're always welcome and a regular which is nice. Good food, great prices.

This is a very tiny diner with great breakfast. I ordered the farmers omelet with a side of gravy to add on top.omelet was made with big pieces of ham and real cheddar cheese not processed cheese. Servers are friendly.
