Well being 35 and relaxed and comfortable enough with myself to hang out AGAIN, like I used to when I was younger, without worrying about being judged and just plain sing, sometimes off-key, and have a great night out with your friends and make a few more. I had several great nights out. just being with my friends and Cavilles has been there for years is what they tell me. I heard stories from my friends that 15 years ago they did exactly the same thing after their prom or after their first date or when they turned 21 it was Cavilles. So lighten up.

Very very racist place to be!! I am a young African American educated woman who was called a ni**a by a racist white dude and overheard racial slurs from his pig of a gf. Also the bar tender, female dj apologized for that ignorant behavior but failed to throw his retarted self out. I paid my tab and never returned. If your of colored decent I recommend Half Time for Downriver fair treatment. Whats said is that I live down the street from Cavilis. I wish I can give these losers a no star

The staff is pretty good and the prices are reasonable. If you really want to sing karaoke this probably isn't the place for you. The way their rotation works you will only get to sing one or two songs a night on the busy nights. Also, the owner is a permanently bitchy golden girl.

Went here for one of their Karaoke nights. After we ordered our first round we decided to cash out and leave because some patrons were calling our friend awful slurs because they thought he was gay. We left our drinks behind, cashed out, went outside and were jumped by that same group. Cameras everywhere, I asked the owner (who kept ducking our calls) for copies of the recording. One worker said she knew for a fact that the cameras worked and the owner would help. Turns out one of the guys was the boyfriend of a worker so the owner "can't find or accidentally deleted" the video footage. The endeavor landed several of our group in the hospital because we weren't wanting or looking for a fight. Police are investigating but we are told with the tapes deleted and the staff covering up the blatant assault, it's unlikely anything will come from it. If you value your own safety, my suggestion is you stay away.

What a sad business they run. The owner is a total B*($&TCH. She will cuss out her employees right in front of customers. The beer lines havent' been cleaned in 20 years and you can sure taste it. Don't drink the draft beer here. I've been served two broken glasses the last two visits. If there is a private party, no where to sit. They let them reserve the whole damn place. Karaoke is great but they stopped it on Saturday nights which stinks. They have good hosts and it's a LOT of fun. Updated music sometimes too. Sometimes the crowd is all seniors and sometimes it's all young people. You just never know what you are going to get. All in all a good time. Service sucks most of the time at night and a couple of the waitresses have no clue when you ask for a specific alcohol. Complete airheads.

Cavill's is the kind of place that I used to drive by when I was younger and think "Who the hell would hang out there?" My friend said "You, when you turn 35." NOOO! I don't want to be the type of person that hangs out at places like this! Swill and bad Country karaoke will just not do, neither will hanging out at this gin joint in this one horse town!
