Awesome food. Local spot, true Mexican food, not the std tex-mex you get everywhere else. Only thing missing is a tv playing soccer.

Great food. Tastes like home cooked. Beans were flavorful and tasty. Red salsa good. Recommend the carne asada. We randomly stopped by here when we were passing through. Great find. Doesn't look like much from the outside but totally worth the stop.

Authentic food. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. Very casual. No alcohol but very nice sodas imported from Mexico, including non alcoholic Sangria.

If your in Sturgis and you want real good authentic tacos go here. You get spicy bean dip and a trio of homemade salsa to start. Then u get to pick from awesome tacos and other real on point authentic Mexican food. The rice milk is an awesome choice for a drink as well. Downfalls The seating is limited and the chips are from a bag.

Love love love this place. The food is authentic, fresh and so affordable. The chicken tacos are the best in town and be sure to wash it down with a lemon water and save room for a caramel crepe. They're AMAZING!

Very traditional. They have delicious salsas. One is a real habinero pepper. It wi kick your bit. The flavor of all the salsas are great. I had to use a few napkins for the third salsa The free chips and beans for the appetizer was small but good. If you are into decore, this is not the place for you. Of you want good food than come here. I am from San Diego am feel I know Mexican food and feel I can recommend this

It could be said there's no good food in Indiana... which is unfortunate if you're flying down I-80 and trying to find dinner before crashing in Chicago. So go to Michigan and find this place, even if you might not know you've actually crossed state lines when Yelp told you to find it (we didn't). Great authentic Mexican that you'll eat so fast you won't realize how much you've looked it until it's gone. This place is legit. Fantastic carne asada and chorizo... The burritos are lovingly made and sealed on the griddle for that crispy exterior. Cilantro and lime tacos are exactly what you think when you imagine "perfect, authentic taco" in your best dreams. If you're around, a quality quick dinner spot

After reading reviews for this restaurant, my husband and I decided to try it. We were traveling in the area from Kentucky. In the window there is a sign stating "Authentic Mexican Food". My husband ordered chicken and beef fajitas and I ordered a breaded steak Torta. I did not ask the waitress what a Torta was--just knew I loved Mexican food, so I took my chances. My husband's food arrived and then my Torta arrived. My oh my, was it good!!! It was large enough for two meals, half would have been sufficient. My husband said his fajitas were excellent--I tasted his and I totally agreed!!!! The restaurant's interior doesn't look that great, but don't let looks deceive you!! The cook actually does all the grilling there in the eating area. One thing we noticed while eating was that initially we were the only non-Mexicans eating there--a good sign that the food is authentic! Eventually some other non-Mexicans came in to eat before we left. I also want to add that the prices were very reasonable!! I highly recommend this little restaurant!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
