i took my son there for dinner tonight and was very disappointed with the service. we ordered appetizers and placed our dinner order at the same time. i ordered a glass of wine and my son a smoothie. my wine came out immediately and we waited about 5 minutes for his smoothie. our appetizers came out, and about a half an hour later our food finally came out. while waiting for our food i asked the server for 2 glasses of water and asked her what brand of moscato she served me, of course it was the most expensive glass they sold. by the time we finished our food i still didnt get the water that i ended up asking her for 3 different times. i do want to say that the food was excellent but i am also a server and this was very upsetting. we were basically ignored by the server until we were walking to the door and she already had her more than generous tip in hand and said thank u have a nice night.
Absolutely love dining at Ollie's. I work in Dearborn and frequent that location more, however, the VanDyke location is far superior. The space is gorgeous and you never feel crowded. The staff is super friendly - and can joke well with even the craziest of my friends. Portions are huge, I always have to take home quite a bit. Their hummus is amazing, very creamy and smooth. Garlic sauce is equally yummy. I'm never disappointed with what I order from shwarma to lamb to fattoush. It all tastes great. The house salad dressing has great spice. And I recommend getting the fries with a meal - some of the best fries I've had (even better with garlic or hummus).

The atmosphere and the waitress (Jasmine) was superb. Stopped in based on the Yelp reviews and was glad I did. The crushed lentil soup "AWESOME" and the hommous didn't let me down either. Decided to go with the shawarma and a Lebanese wine, perfect. Will come back next time I'm in town and would highly recommend to anyone that likes Lebanese food with a real middle eastern atmosphere.

My new fave. I just moved to the area and was staying at a hotel near the restaurant and drove by. I checked out the reviews and thought it was worth a try. Yes it is and I highly recommend Ollie's Lebanese Cuisine. The wait staff explained what the meals were. They have huge portions that you can share. And on Monday and Tuesdays, they have sandwich specials for take out for both lunch and dinner -- cheap cheap cheap! The food is very delicious and the give military discounts. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

Living in Dearborn my entire life and spending most summers in Lebanon i tend to expect a lot from Arabic restaurants, and Ollies Sterling Heights truly delivered! As I walked in i was instantly stunned by the interior, not only was it beautiful but gives an accurate representation of Middle Eastern Culture a lot of heart was definitely put into this place. But a few pretty decorations isn't enough to sway me by any means. The service and food is what did it! I came into Ollies a bit famished which led me to order the Shish Combo and let me tell you it was HUGE and pretty cheap for the price. But what really earned the 5th star was the service, my server was genuinely one of the best i had! In my opinion many servers these days are like robots just take your order and go, Jasmine really took the time to make sure i enjoyed my time here and get on a personal level with me! Ollies Sterling Heights is Macomb County's best kept secret

Had dinner with friends on a Friday night, sat on the outdoor patio. The place is very nicely decorated, and the staff are very welcoming. We ordered the family feast for four, and that was more than enough food. The appetizers are huge, there's soup, and then the skewers with 4 sides. It was truly a feast. A little expensive, but great food. Would come here again.

Ollies is top of the line when it comes to middle eastern cuisine. The lunch and dinner is always fresh, service is fast, and the environment is always clean and entertaining. A great place to bring a date for dinner or a few friends for lunch. I would recommend to all family and friends looking for middle eastern cuisine.

We had eaten a couple times at the Ollie's Lebanese in Dearborn and knew about this location so when we were in the area with visitors from out of town we decided to take them here. We were really impressed with the service at Dearborn and we loved the food and this location in Sterling Heights is just as good. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here and our guests loved everything as well. They said there is a Lebanese restaurant near their home near Cleveland but the food at Ollie's is much better. We ordered the Lebanese Sampler Combo for Two (there were five of us) and fresh juice and smoothies. After we were all full, there was still some left and we sent it home with our visitors. This location is much closer for us than Dearborn so I know we will be back again.

Came here the other day for the first time and was very impressed with how beautiful it looked inside this place. I mean wow to how beautiful it is, I felt like I was in a 5 star place in New York for the whole time. The food was really good and something I want to get more often. The prices aren't too bad. I paid $12 for a drink, a sandwich and a snack. If you are looking for somewhere beautiful to sit down and have a date or even just to go out to lunch/dinner with a friend, this is the place to be. The serve we got a was really nice and funny. He joked with us a few times and always came by to refill our drinks and see if we needed anything at all. I'm happy my buddy found this place and wanted to get some food.

Great Lebanese food. We were pampered by the staff who knew we were with an ailing family member. The warm pita and garlic spread could ruin your appetite so be careful! Loved this place! They handle large parties well! Also check out the carry out sandwich deal for $2.50(!) all day Monday's and Tuesday's!

I went to Ollie's three different times... First off, when you walk into their build you instantly smell "dirty stewier"... You don't even want to eat in there because of the smell.. The restroom are even worse. I once found a bug in my fatoosh!!!!!!!! The boss doesn't really care about his business and customers. The food isn't great either.....

We walked in with our cousin and kid and host-dude dropped his pre-planned kitchy one liner for every parent that walks in with a toddler. "Table for 3 and a half?" The place looks pretty commercial and corporate. Has kind of a Claim Jumpers or clean chain vibe. I was expecting some typical frozen grub and reheated in a microwave by minimum wage labor. We came with a local on recommendation who knew stuff about things. Despite the stiff and starchy atmosphere, the cuisine is not watered down to cater to western culinary ideals. The portions are also not timid. We ordered a platter for two, plus an entre, for three 'and a half'. And yet we still walked out with three giant to-go boxes. The service was meh, but self apologetic. We sat for an awkward amount of time and I was gazing out the window and a gal came up and was like' "#omg have you been helped yet? #Nervousface" Maybe 2 minutes later a dude came up, "#lol #sry". Went around the table and took the drink order and Im like "What do you have for hot tea?" And he replies, "yea, we have hot tea..." So I'm trying to get some slack so I request green... He says there is no green. So I maintain, "What kind of tea do you have? #Lol #annoyed" Finally he says "We have a cardamom..." and I'm like "shut up and take my money #Frymeme". The cardmom tea was smooth and fantastic. We got a sampler tray for two that had a beef and chicken, both good. And two different stuffed pastry items and dolmas. Seemed kind of odd to have a pound of meat on a tray with about 1 cup of rice, but who am I to judge. There was a soup served before the entres that was a cross between chicken soup and hot and sour soup. The food was savory and spicy (not hot, but full of spices), typical to the cuisine of the culture. Everything was excellent except the service which seemed like it might have been a slow time where they were slipping a little bit. Would go back for the food alone. They were also pretty hospitable and accommodating to the toddler who was finger painting with their hummous.

I have dined here several times over the past few years and each time has outdone the time before. Haven't been since 9-12-14 for our anniversary dinner and it is where we ate going again on 9-12-15 for our anniversary ( my pick). Love the food the staff, service, and the place. Looking forward to dinner tonight!!!

We like coming here, the salads are always spot in! I ALWAYS get the Caesar salad with the homemade dressing. It's the best. The chicken kebabs are very tasty too. You truly get a bang for your buck here.

Found this place by word of mouth. Actually asked the gal at the hotel for a good suggestion for a place to eat and the man standing in line behind me suggested Ollie's (and I'm very glad he did) I went for an early dinner and found that there were only a few tables with guests. This may be why the service so good, or they always have wonderful service. I don't know but the server I had was wonderful. The lentil soup was amazing! And the pita! WOW! It was hot and fresh and just wonderful with the seasoning / olive oil. I could have made a meal out of just the bread and soup but I pushed on for the main course. Rice with cubes of chicken. Honestly, the chicken was a bit overcooked but flavored very well. The servings were very large...2 days later and I still have left overs. I found that they sell the pita for take home along with little containers of oil and seasoning. So glad I asked. It is so much better than the flat pita you get in the store. I definitely recommend Ollie's Lebanese Cuisine for anyone in the area that's looking for a change to the chain restaurants.

Excellent food and service. Good size portions and reasonably priced. Been there three times but definitely plan on going back as often as possible. Strongly recommend the chicken shawarma, the lentl soup or any of the kabobs. A must whenever I visit the area.

My favorite place to go for Middle Eastern cuisine. Been there many times and have never had a bad experience. The crushed lentil is very, very good and so is the chicken, the salads, falafel, the bread...it's all good. Try it!

Without question the best Lebanese food. on the east side. The owner has came to our table with a smile and to make sure everything is 100% almost every time we eat there. Kibbee nay eh is better than my grandfathers. Even had great entertainment there for a while. A true gem. I love it.

The best Lebanese food I have had in a long time. From the crushed lentil soup to the hommus, and Fattouch. It was good til the last drop. The Tenderloin Pepper was AMAZING, a must try. The Moscato Sweet red wine tasted amazing with the Lamb Chops. And to top it all off the Raspberry tart dessert hit the SPOT!

I am really disappointed. Last time I was at Ollie's was a year ago, and it was delicious. I used to recommend it to friends, I've given Ollie's gift cards. TONIGHT, the food was gross and they lost a customer. I rarely complain about a restaurant, but I have to share this experience. My friend and I both ordered the Shwarma and Baba ganoush plate. Well, we paid $15 for COLD chicken. Now you'd think that since they've been serving this for a few years, they would know not to put chicken on top of ice cold baba g! The chicken was luke warm at best, some very cold. So we asked to re-heat, which they did, but then placed it back on the cold baba g. So some was warm, some STILL cold. (At this point I'm concerned are they meeting health requirements in keeping food hot enough to prevent germs?!) After voicing our frustration with the server, and 2 others who stopped by to deliver the food back, NOT ONE apologized!! Dropped it off and left. THAT is the worst in this experience to me. Anyway, we even told the cashier to forget my left overs, that I didn't want to eat it again. Also, the lentil soup was luke warm as well, salad WAY over dressed. Complete opposite experience from a year ago. Not sure what is going on, but as I told the cashier, we will NOT be back again. Especially not when I paid for a meal that I hardly ate! I pay for good food, I do NOT like to pay for food that is not prepared properly. Terrible cooks and terrible customer service here. Very sad, my patronage could have been kept with a simple, "we're so sorry, what can we do?" Unacceptable.

So glad I discovered this place via groupon. A bit out of the way for me but I'll definitely come again! We ordered the sampler platter for 2. Meal started with delicious fresh pitas (you can see the clay oven they're being made in!) and seasoned olive oil for dipping. Lentil soup followed; they have both crushed and whole lentil soup options. Both were good. The entree, a sampler platter for 2, was beautifully presented and a whopping big portion to boot. They substituted grilled veggies for rice/fries for free (Beirut palace, take note!) and they were perfect. The shish kebab was a bit peppery, which is I why I've taken off a star. The shish kafta was oh my god delicious! We had it cooked medium. Shish tawook was very well cooked. Service was excellent! We were in a rush to leave (had to catch a movie) and the maitre'd and waiter worked to make sure we got our bill and groupon squared away immediately, and got carry out boxes and bags ahead of time too. The ambience was more upscale than we expected - dark wood, some cool decor touches too (see pic). The restaurant is a year young! Recommended!

I am from Akron, Ohio, passing through Sterling Heights on business, and stopped at Ollie's on a whim. This food is fantastic, and the prices are more than reasonable! We visited Ollie's for lunch, and for $5 and some change we were served pita/oil, a delicious falafel sandwich, and the best lentil soup I've ever had. I typically dislike eating indoors in the summer, but the inside of the restaurant was wonderful. I can only hope they expand to the greater Akron area! You absolutely must try this place- it does not disappoint!

I was a first time customer and looking very much forward to it. I had heard such good things. I was to share in a celebration of a good friends 30th birthday party which she had booked well in advance. Many guests called to ask if there was a cover charge or anything we should be prepared for. We were assured that there was none because this was a pre-booked party. I wish I had experienced the food. The waiters placed plates in front of all of us, but never returned to take our orders. The cake my friend had pre-ordered was not brought to the table as promised because it was never MADE. Forgotten. The waiters were nowhere to be found. This went on for an hour or so. It was another half an hour before we could even ask someone to FIND our waiters for us to give us our bills. We were left impatient and hungry due to this and wanted to leave just so we could actually DINE somewhere else. When we were presented with our bills, we all noticed that a "cover charge" was tacked on to the bills at 10 dollars per person. We were told there was none. I have been to cities that are known for their nightlife. New York, L.A., Chicago...never ONCE have I been charged a "cover charge" when I was l LEAVING an establishment, especially after I was told there was none. Cover charges cover your ENTRY...NOT your exit. Seems to me a very shady practice. All the guests were very angry and asked to have it removed. This took another half an hour of negotiations. An 18 % gratuity had already been factored into our bill even though we weren't waited on by anyone. I had to get drinks for myself at the front bar. I hope that found it's way to the bartender. My friend whose birthday it was, needless to say, was very embarrassed and hurt that her birthday was ruined by the thoughtlessness of the staff. She had pre-booked and pre-paid for certain things to make her 30th unforgettable. It's a shame that we'll all remember that they forgot it all. They scrambled after we finally had to remind the staff, by bringing out a few slices of cake , I counted four, which wasn't nearly enough for a large party...and REMINDED the singer to wish her a happy birthday. But by then, it was too late. Funny how they were not attentive or concerned when their guests were hungry or upset, but when it came to arguing about how much money they thought they were entitled to after this embarrassment, they were all lined up to argue. Horrible behavior and service? Hidden charges? NO thank you. I wish I had something good to say about the food at least, but alas, between 10:00 and approx 12:30 am...no orders were ever taken for it.

My friend and I go here for dinner about every other week. She told me about it when it first opened up and she wanted to try it out. I'm always one for trying a new middle eastern place. The bread is warm, the service is great. The fattoush salad is the best I've had in the area. There are a couple reasons I can't give it 5 starts. I brought shwarma sandwiches home for my bf once and he was not a fan. He said they didn't have much taste and they didn't. The booth seats are in serious need of being redone or completely replaced. I've been in a couple different booths there and everytime I either sink or I'm sitting right in the middle and I can feel the wood frame. It doesn't stop me from going there though.

Waited over 40 minutes for a chicken greek salad to go. I ask the lady, " What is included with salad? She stated just pita bread. Because I was ordering Hot Bread I ordered and a side of garlic. However, the garlic spread is already included with the pita bread. The salad was mediocre at best. They need to work on Customer Service, they did not even offer a cup of water. A better option would be LaMarsa's Restaurant.

Excellent wine. Great service with really good descriptions of the food. Salad came out promptly and smelled great. Looks good too. Dressing was amazing. Had the Massaya Silver. Excellent bouquet with great overtones. Had the beef tips with fresh vegetables. Cooked just right. Again, great flavor. Will definitely return.

I've been frequenting Ollie's since it opened a few years ago. Quickly, It became one of my favorite restaurants. I've tried every vegetarian dish on the menu, each one is awesome! I especially love the crushed lentil soup! They give you so much food that you'll have left overs for lunch and dinner the next day! On top of great food, the staff is very friendly and attentive. Excellent all around!

I didn't really know what Lebanese food was, so I'd driven by this place many times without much thought of stopping. A friend asked me to go and I was so glad that we did! First of all, the interior is absolutely beautiful. It would be a wonderful setting for a special event. The service was great. Our server was knowledgable and took care of us without being intrusive. Best of all, of course, was the food. Sooo yummy. The thing that I noticed right away, and that carried on throughout the meal, was the freshness of the food. The salad tasted like they had just brought the vegetables in from the garden, the pita bread came right out of the oven (you can watch them bake it), and the smoothie was made fresh to order. My shrimp cilantro was seasoned just right and the shrimp was cooked to perfection. A delightful creme caramel for dessert ended a wonderful dining experience. The bill came and we ended up spending less for dinner and dessert than we would normally spend for just dinner. I will be back!

Came here with family, hands down best Lebanese cuisine in town. Everything was super yummy! My favorite was the lamb chops and raw kibbie. Appetizers were all so good served with fresh hot out of the oven bread. Def will be coming here again and again!

Tasty place. Fresh pita from the fire oven. The fattoush is quite good. I had the meat sharwama. I wish is was just a lamb sharwarma, but good none the less. The hommus was tasty, but average.

Met a buddy for lunch here awhile ago, It was good. I ordered the Chicken shawarma, hummus & rice. I was kinda disappointed how much lunch cost for the amount of food. They don't have the garlic spread I usually get, in stead they have an oil with seasame seeds in it. I was OK until I got the bill, I couldn't help but feel like... This wasn't worth that. The service was Great, the inside is beautiful, I just wish they had lunch specials like Oasis in Warren.

There is a saying that you get what you pay for and it holds true here, but for all the wrong reasons though. You are basically paying a little extra for the atmosphere and ambiance the place has to offer, not the quality of the food. When I go to a new Lebenses/Middle Eastern place one of the first things I get there is the Shawarma. I am a big fan of the Garlic Sauce you normally get with it, but theirs was not the usual thick paste, but rather a nasty soupy mess. It was as if they literally mixed flour with water together and served it up in a little side bowl. It was gritty and gross. The Fatoush Salad had way too much dressing (it was literally sopping wet) and it was not very lemony tasting either. Cut the dressing in half and it would have been decent, but even still I have had much better. Houmouss with Shawarma was okay although the Chicken was not cut up so there were filet size pieces instead of chunks and strips. Also they put hot chicken on top of ice cold Houmouss which just made it off putting texture wise. Houmouss needs to be warm our at least room temp too if you are going to do that. The rice they served with the meal was bland and was mostly white rice not pilaf. As for service it was just okay. Not the best, but also not the worst. What got my goat the most was that they block off the entire parking lot and make you use their Valet service. Although it is complimentary the night we went I am sure on a busy weekend they make you pay. Plus they still expect you to tip. I am fine with tipping if I choose to have them Valet my car, but not when I am forced to. When we pulled up I just rolled my window down, put my hand up to stop the guy and told him we'd park ourselves. Before he could say otherwise the window was up and we were driving to a spot.

First time in town and spotted this as we were driving down the road, thought we'd give it a try. The crushed lentil soup is no joke fantastic, stuffed grape leaves (with meat) was wonderful. I also had the kabob combo which was really good. My coworker had the chicken with jalapeños and really enjoyed that as well. I would definitely go back if we are in town for work again.

My carry-out experience tonight was not as good as my first one. My lentil kibbeh was overly spiced and average compared to others around town. The hommous that impressed me so the first time was practically flavorless and seemingly past its prime. The side salad full of iceberg lettuce was a titanic disappointment. Yogurt and cucumber salad was a bit runny but OK. Char-grilled veggies seemed to have too much crushed red pepper - odd for this type of food. Caveat: this was carry-out. I can't speak for the dine-in experience. Normally, I would be eager to validate this as soon as possible. In this case, though, I am, sadly, in no great hurry to do so.

Went to dinner with the team. We split a few appetizers, hummus, eggplant, wings, all very good. The pita is fresh baked and hot - best ever! Fattoush salad was great, and my chicken entree with veggies was good. Service was great! I'd eat there again!

Excellent Place for lunch. The price was cheap for lunch, and you will feel the price is even cheaper if you count in the restaurant's decoration and atmosphere. Food quality was good and fresh, the amount of food was huge. Also, they will give every table an basket of pita bread with extra-virgin olive oil. I had chicken Shawarma sandwich, and it was tasty without greasy oil dripping down like some other places.

Good Middle Eastern restaurant with great food. The menu is expansive, and categorized by how they cook it (sauteed vs fire-grilled vs oven-baked), and they have selections that I haven't been able to find anywhere else (chicken shata, cilantro shrimp, etc). The place is large and inviting, with fancy decor like a balcony and two fountains. They have a bar area with limited outdoor seating overlooking the picturesque Wal-Mart store. Most of the time thee service is good, and the owner usually comes by to see how your dining experience is. My only gripe/piece of advice - beware the wait staff that don't write down your order - make sure you repeat it several times if they choose to "memorize" your order. On at least two separate occasions the wait staff did not write down the order and got it wrong.

I absolutely loved Ollie's the first time I was there and I still think their meat pies are the absolute best. A warning on the chicken shwarma sandwiches, though. I had this the second visit. Not good. Their sauce does not compare favorably to sauces at Cedars Garden near 15 and Van Dyke or Kabob House at 12 & Mound in Warren.

I probably would not have come in unless I had the Groupon, but man am I glad I did. I was worried when I walked because the place seemed too fancy to have good food at that pricepoint (they even had a full bar). Man, am I glad that I was wrong. The pita bread was baked fresh, and I cannot tell you enough how much better fresh bread is than some of the thin cold stuff in sandwich bags that many places give out. The crushed lentil soup is good down to the last drop. And the lamb chops . . . oh the lamb chops! They might be the best lamb chops that I remember having. I asked for them to be cooked medium and they came out perfect. I have to wipe the drool from the side of my lips just thinking about it.

My coworkers and I love this place!! The service has never disappointed us. They take our call ahead and have the food ready when we arrive to accommodate our 45 minute lunch. My husband and I have also made this one of our favorite spots! The smoothies are delicious.

Had dinner with my family here a few nights ago, and it was terrific! The restaurant looks very nice and clean, and the wait staff was very helpful (I don't eat a lot of Lebanese food, so I needed some help ordering). We were really impressed with the portion sizes and quality of the food, which was fresh and tasty. The prices are also very reasonable for the amount of food you get. We had enough to eat well and have leftovers to take with us. This was one of the better experiences I've had with Middle-Eastern food, and I would highly recommend it.

The decor on the inside is really nice, no trace of the old Don Pablos. The side salad and hummus were really good but the chicken was horrible. My coworkers had the shish kakob with veggies and that looked good, so they might get another try.

I went here with my friends for a girls nice and we all really enjoyed it. The interior of the restaurant is very warm and welcoming. This would be a great place from anything from a family dinner to a romantic night out. They have a pretty extensive menu, which is nice because you can choose to go for the cheaper end (sandwiches and salads) or the more upscale (shawarma dishes and lamb chops). The starter pita and dipping oil was warm and fresh. I'll defiantly be back!

I had an awesome experience while on business in the area. It's hard to find a place in the Sterling Heights area that has vegetarian options.I ordered the veggie combo (Tabbouli, hummus, grape leaves, falafel and spinach pie); It was delicious! The lentil soup was amazing. I will definitely return. Ollie's has friendly service and great food! Highly recommended.

Went here with family and at first appearance it looks beautiful inside, but then we sat down and our horrible service began. They had some kind of buffet going on so me and my mom checked it out " were both restaurant workers so know buffets are huge hit or miss" The food looked very old the "lobster" ravioli was all congealed together. So we ordered off the menu.... food took long time and then was very lacking. My suggestion skip

Delicious! Though the server was a bit confused that we wanted the dinner for two to be all chicken... the food was outstanding. The tabbouli however was a bit bland compared to many others I have had. Chicken kafta awesome, kabob and tawook... couldn't tell the difference. Between the two. Salad was amazing. Perfect mix for the salad dressing, nice and vinegary, flavorful. Just the way I like it.

Tried this place due to a Groupon. Food was too oily, it left a lot to be desired. Fattoush was swimming in dressing. Hubby loved the baba, only reason they didn't get 1 star. Hummus was too bland. Service was way too slow. Food made me sick before we even left. Not a good experience.

Wonderful dinner the other night with the family. Warm bread, straight from the oven, and our sampler platter for 2 was easily enough for 4. Had the crushed lentil soup which was delish! Everyone loved their meals. Service was prompt and pleasant. We will be back!

BEST Lebanese cuisine restaurant north of Detroit! I eat here almost every week for lunch usualy the meat shawarma sandwich and a bowl of the crushed lemmon lental, but I also like the Falafel.. the Kibbee Nahyee is the best I've had! I've only dinned in a couple of times, I found the atmosphier and the service to be top shelf, the Chicken Cilantro and the Beftak are bolth excelent. I think I wont be saticefied untill I've tried everything on Ollie's menu...

I was pleasantly surprised, that I can definitely say. The massive size and location of the restaurant had me wondering if the food could be any good, if it would taste pre-made, like any of the 100's of chain restaurants out there. This is not a chain, but it sure looks like it belongs as part of one. The portions are pretty good, though not huge. You will not leave hungry, but you may or may not have a box of leftovers to take home with you. I recognized some of the wait staff, they had come from another Middle Eastern restaurant that closed down, so they are definitely experienced. They are efficient, but don't expect any genuine warmth to exude from them. They are there to serve you a meal, not make a new friend. The food is good, I've tried a few things from here. It is all excellent and well made. There is nothing that is bad here. If you want the garlic spread that often goes with the pita, you have to ask for it and you will pay for it. The prices are higher than I would expect ... but they have a very large building to heat and air condition, so I guess they feel that they need to charge for it.

Very pretty place but chicken sharwarma wasn't that good - it had the consistency of a mushy shredded beef (I really questioned whether it was actually chicken). Since it's a fairly new restaurant, I'm hoping the food gets better because I would want to give it another try based on the atmosphere and price. I will definitely not order the chicken again though.

Last night, I went back for a second time. I got the whole lentil soup, which was probably the best soup I've had in a restaurant in well over a year. It was incredibly flavorful and balanced. I ordered the Beeftak (I think that's what it was called), and it was incredible! L-O-V-E-D it!!! Again, full of balanced depth of flavor, the meat was cooked beautifully, and very tender. My husband ordered the mixed shawarma plate. He said the beef shawarma was fantastic, but the chicken shawarma was a little dry. It also didn't come with tahini sauce. He asked for some, and that added the missing component to the dish. If I was critiquing solely based on food alone, I'd give it 5 stars - maybe even 6 if I could. My food was truly that good. But, what was not exactly up to par was the service. Our waiter was pleasant, but hard to find. When my meal came out with rice, despite me ordering fries, he apologized, and was quick to bring me out fries. Other than that, though, it was a little difficult to find him to refill our waters, or to get and pay for our bill. That being said, if I was rating the service only, I'd probably give 2 stars is all - Not at all horrible, but I've had, and prefer, better.

I can not say most of the food isn't good. However, I've learned how they can jerk their employees around. I'm a single mom trying to make ends meet. I was hired, I thought thankfully. However, after I spent money I really couldn't afford, but needed the job so couldn't afford not to. pants, shirt, socks & shoes. Trained for 4 evenings, never meeting the General Manager until my 4th and supposedly last day of training. When I was hired I made it clear that I worked a day job Mon - Fri. The GM gave me a written test that I passed. we had, I thought on 1 question had a light hearted difference of opinion. He asked when I was next available. All dinners and all weekends. He moaned, rubbed his forehead and said he wanted someone for lunches. He said he'd talk to Oliie the owner and call me. He never did, even after I left several messages. Simple common professional courtesy you'd think. Bottom line? Ollie told me to talk w/Gus, the GM. When I called, he wouldn't even come to the phone. Had the bartender tell me, verbatim" I don't know why she's calling, I don't know what she wants. I told her I needed someone for lunches." From my understanding, he fires people so often and randomly it's ridiculous. My 1st impression before I was hired of "Gus" was not impressive. he walks around like he's "the man". I was also told I'd be paid for the 4 nights of training, but....can't get ahold of anyone or any answers. So, now I'm out the money and the time. It's too bad really, we liked going there. Won't be going anymore.

This place is great. I have been 3 times now and the food is excellent and the service is top notch. I am very impressed with the building and all the work done to it. Its top on my list now for Middle Eastern in Macomb County.

Had dinner here at the end of March and I'm really impressed. Absolutely great middle eastern cuisine - particularly the crushed lentil soup. Nice service, beautiful atmosphere. Always busy. This is a place to go again and again.

Totally worth the price. Great portions and absolutely delicious! I had a shawarma combo with vegetables and the meet as well as the vegetables were cooked to perfection! I haven't had vegetables taste so fresh and delicious. Ohh and did I mention the salad! Absolutely fresh!!!! Super impressed!

(3)
Qian Y.

The decor on the inside is really nice, no trace of the old Don Pablos. The side salad and hummus were really good but the chicken was horrible. My coworkers had the shish kakob with veggies and that looked good, so they might get another try.

Food was amazing, decor and ambiance is rich and inviting. Waitstaff was prompt and courteous, a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I have only written one other review in my life, so taking the time to do this bumps my review automatically!

Friendly staff...when calling in for carryout or for dining in Good food...for the piece you pay and best Lebanese food in the Sterling Heights area Love the carryout $2.50 carryout chicken shawarma wrap on Tuesdays !!!! Good Hummus and good garlic spread Defiantly gets a thumb up : )

Without question the best Lebanese food. on the east side. The owner has came to our table with a smile and to make sure everything is 100% almost every time we eat there. Kibbee nay eh is better than my grandfathers. Even had great entertainment there for a while. A true gem. I love it.

Won't be going anymore.

i took my son there for dinner tonight and was very disappointed with the service. we ordered appetizers and placed our dinner order at the same time. i ordered a glass of wine and my son a smoothie. my wine came out immediately and we waited about 5 minutes for his smoothie. our appetizers came out, and about a half an hour later our food finally came out. while waiting for our food i asked the server for 2 glasses of water and asked her what brand of moscato she served me, of course it was the most expensive glass they sold. by the time we finished our food i still didnt get the water that i ended up asking her for 3 different times. i do want to say that the food was excellent but i am also a server and this was very upsetting. we were basically ignored by the server until we were walking to the door and she already had her more than generous tip in hand and said thank u have a nice night.

The Shish Tawook is delicious and the garlic sauce is dangerously good.

The Food is amazing. Great portions, I just wish that they didnt charge so much for hummus. It beyond overpriced.

Food was amazing, decor and ambiance is rich and inviting. Waitstaff was prompt and courteous, a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I have only written one other review in my life, so taking the time to do this bumps my review automatically!

Its top on my list now for Middle Eastern in Macomb County.

i took my son there for dinner tonight and was very disappointed with the service. we ordered appetizers and placed our dinner order at the same time. i ordered a glass of wine and my son a smoothie. my wine came out immediately and we waited about 5 minutes for his smoothie. our appetizers came out, and about a half an hour later our food finally came out. while waiting for our food i asked the server for 2 glasses of water and asked her what brand of moscato she served me, of course it was the most expensive glass they sold. by the time we finished our food i still didnt get the water that i ended up asking her for 3 different times. i do want to say that the food was excellent but i am also a server and this was very upsetting. we were basically ignored by the server until we were walking to the door and she already had her more than generous tip in hand and said thank u have a nice night.

Excellent cuisine, staff, décor, cleanliness, and quite an extensive bar (very underrated and unknown in my opinion). We are middle eastern; a mix of Lebanese and Chaldean; so we have been all over the state and hands down we find Ollie's to be the best. The taboulee, hummous, and all the meats are excellent; my wife loves the vegetarian grapeleaves as well. You will not go wrong with this place!
(5)Alice A.
(5)Craig S.

(5)Ali M.
(5)Zeid S.
(4)Eliz M.
Excellent middle eastern food, a varied menu, and a good value too. Great service and a nice vegetarian selection. Highly recommended.
(4)Gabriel A.

(5)Maryann Y.
Amazing food, beautiful inside. Great service and great owner. Always makes sure everything is perfect. We have had 2 parties in the upstairs area and always have great feedback from our guests!

Solid fattoush, amazing garlic spread, and you get three skewers of chicken kafta with the meal!
(5)Jason B.
(5)Nancy S.
(5)Jaclyn D.
(1)James M.
Great service, food and experience. Reasonably priced I would go back. I recommend the whole boneless chicken with hummus, fattoush and rice btw
(5)Leigh O.

Their Shish Tawook is kebab done so right, just as all shish kebab should be -- Yummm, and shukran shukran!

This place is amazing! I love the Tomato Kibee! Haven't had much else, but I'll be back soon!

(4)Rick K.
Excellent food and service. Good size portions and reasonably priced. Been there three times but definitely plan on going back as often as possible. Strongly recommend the chicken shawarma, the lentl soup or any of the kabobs. A must whenever I visit the area.

Food was great, my waiter was a -5 stars. Ordered Fried Kibbee and Grapeleaves from the Appetizer menu and they were delicious. This review coming from a Lebanese.

My favorite place to go for Middle Eastern cuisine. Been there many times and have never had a bad experience. The crushed lentil is very, very good and so is the chicken, the salads, falafel, the bread...it's all good. Try it!
(5)Jeff S.
Everything I have had here is top-notch. It's a great value too. I have had chicken and beef dishes but not the lamb.
(5)Rick S.

Wonderful service and food. Lentil soup was delicious as well as the entrees. Good value for the price.

Best place to enjoy a healthy inexpensive lunch!!! I had a baby greek salad and raw juice accompanied with a basket of warm bread and garlic spread. DELICIOUS!!!
(5)Willi P.
Had dinner last night. Great service. They were packed with a wedding reception. Still felt like we were the only two ordering. Quick service. Filled beverages. Food was outstanding! Jasmine was our server and was great! Will be back

Had dinner here at the end of March and I'm really impressed. Absolutely great middle eastern cuisine - particularly the crushed lentil soup. Nice service, beautiful atmosphere. Always busy. This is a place to go again and again.
(4)Ann P.
(3)Ross L.

(5)Rebbie R.
Delicious. Great service. Great atmosphere with lots of space. Huge portions - I always take food home from here.
(4)Jay Vee Z.
Great chicken shawarmas! And for only $2.50 on Mondays and Tuesdays when you order take out! However, staff needs improvement on service and customer satisfaction.
(2)Kimberley S.
The Food is amazing. Great portions, I just wish that they didnt charge so much for hummus. It beyond overpriced.

(5)Samantha B.
Came here with family, hands down best Lebanese cuisine in town. Everything was super yummy! My favorite was the lamb chops and raw kibbie. Appetizers were all so good served with fresh hot out of the oven bread. Def will be coming here again and again!
(5)John V.
Tasty place. Fresh pita from the fire oven. The fattoush is quite good. I had the meat sharwama. I wish is was just a lamb sharwarma, but good none the less. The hommus was tasty, but average.
(4)Pauly G.
(3)Tim K.
(2)Robert B.
The Shish Tawook is delicious and the garlic sauce is dangerously good.
(4)Brian S.
(4)Bill B.
(3)Gigi F.
Went to dinner with the team. We split a few appetizers, hummus, eggplant, wings, all very good. The pita is fresh baked and hot - best ever! Fattoush salad was great, and my chicken entree with veggies was good. Service was great! I'd eat there again!
(4)Qian Y.
(4)Shawn W.
(4)Sandra C.
(3)Samir N.
(5)Melissa W.
My coworkers and I love this place!! The service has never disappointed us. They take our call ahead and have the food ready when we arrive to accommodate our 45 minute lunch. My husband and I have also made this one of our favorite spots! The smoothies are delicious.
(5)Tom F.
(5)John H.
Food was amazing, decor and ambiance is rich and inviting. Waitstaff was prompt and courteous, a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I have only written one other review in my life, so taking the time to do this bumps my review automatically!
(5)Alex K.
My family and I love this place! I am Lebanese, so I am biased towards my Mother's cooking... but this place is awesome! Huge portions and everything tastes too good.
(5)Erin K.
The decor on the inside is really nice, no trace of the old Don Pablos. The side salad and hummus were really good but the chicken was horrible. My coworkers had the shish kakob with veggies and that looked good, so they might get another try.
(3)Shelley Z.
(4)Daniel R.
(5)Howard L.
Good food and service. Nice building interior.
(4)Phillip B.
(1)Tina T.
(4)Ak S.
Great food, terrible service, took a long time to get refills and extra ranch.
(3)Nicole B.
(2)Andrea C.
Wonderful dinner the other night with the family. Warm bread, straight from the oven, and our sampler platter for 2 was easily enough for 4. Had the crushed lentil soup which was delish! Everyone loved their meals. Service was prompt and pleasant. We will be back!
(4)Jayson D.
(5)Aivilo E.
(4)Lakeysha C.
(2)Kooky M.

The Shish Tawook is delicious and the garlic sauce is dangerously good.
(4)Brian S.
(4)Bill B.
(3)Gigi F.
Went to dinner with the team. We split a few appetizers, hummus, eggplant, wings, all very good. The pita is fresh baked and hot - best ever! Fattoush salad was great, and my chicken entree with veggies was good. Service was great! I'd eat there again!
(4)Samantha B.
(4)Pauly G.
(3)Qian Y.
(4)Alex K.
(3)Shawn W.
(4)Sandra C.
(3)Samir N.
(5)Melissa W.
My coworkers and I love this place!! The service has never disappointed us. They take our call ahead and have the food ready when we arrive to accommodate our 45 minute lunch. My husband and I have also made this one of our favorite spots! The smoothies are delicious.
(5)Tom F.
(5)John H.
Food was amazing, decor and ambiance is rich and inviting. Waitstaff was prompt and courteous, a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I have only written one other review in my life, so taking the time to do this bumps my review automatically!
(5)Robert K.
(5)Alice A.
(5)Craig S.
Friendly staff...when calling in for carryout or for dining in Good food...for the piece you pay and best Lebanese food in the Sterling Heights area Love the carryout $2.50 carryout chicken shawarma wrap on Tuesdays !!!! Good Hummus and good garlic spread Defiantly gets a thumb up : )
(4)Ray R.
(4)Tara M.
(5)Adam H.
This place is amazing! I love the Tomato Kibee! Haven't had much else, but I'll be back soon!
(5)April C.
We like coming here, the salads are always spot in! I ALWAYS get the Caesar salad with the homemade dressing. It's the best. The chicken kebabs are very tasty too. You truly get a bang for your buck here.
(3)Ali M.

(5)Pilar W.
Their Shish Tawook is kebab done so right, just as all shish kebab should be -- Yummm, and shukran shukran!
(4)Karen M.
(5)David M.
(5)Maryann Y.
Amazing food, beautiful inside. Great service and great owner. Always makes sure everything is perfect. We have had 2 parties in the upstairs area and always have great feedback from our guests!
(5)L H.
Solid fattoush, amazing garlic spread, and you get three skewers of chicken kafta with the meal!
(5)Jason B.
(5)Nancy S.
(5)Jaclyn D.
(1)James M.
Great service, food and experience. Reasonably priced I would go back. I recommend the whole boneless chicken with hummus, fattoush and rice btw
(5)Zeid S.
(4)Rochelle S.
(4)Rick K.
Excellent food and service. Good size portions and reasonably priced. Been there three times but definitely plan on going back as often as possible. Strongly recommend the chicken shawarma, the lentl soup or any of the kabobs. A must whenever I visit the area.
(4)Debbie A.
Food was great, my waiter was a -5 stars. Ordered Fried Kibbee and Grapeleaves from the Appetizer menu and they were delicious. This review coming from a Lebanese.
(3)Dena S.
(5)Rick S.
Without question the best Lebanese food. on the east side. The owner has came to our table with a smile and to make sure everything is 100% almost every time we eat there. Kibbee nay eh is better than my grandfathers. Even had great entertainment there for a while. A true gem. I love it.
(5)Shelley Z.
(4)Daniel R.
(5)Howard L.
Good food and service. Nice building interior.
(4)Phillip B.
(1)Tina T.
(4)Ak S.
Great food, terrible service, took a long time to get refills and extra ranch.
(3)Nicole B.
(5)Aivilo E.
(4)Lakeysha C.
(2)Kooky M.
(4)Megan M.

(1)Laura G.

(2)Troy C.
This place is great. I have been 3 times now and the food is excellent and the service is top notch. I am very impressed with the building and all the work done to it. Its top on my list now for Middle Eastern in Macomb County.

i took my son there for dinner tonight and was very disappointed with the service. we ordered appetizers and placed our dinner order at the same time. i ordered a glass of wine and my son a smoothie. my wine came out immediately and we waited about 5 minutes for his smoothie. our appetizers came out, and about a half an hour later our food finally came out. while waiting for our food i asked the server for 2 glasses of water and asked her what brand of moscato she served me, of course it was the most expensive glass they sold. by the time we finished our food i still didnt get the water that i ended up asking her for 3 different times. i do want to say that the food was excellent but i am also a server and this was very upsetting. we were basically ignored by the server until we were walking to the door and she already had her more than generous tip in hand and said thank u have a nice night.

Excellent wine. Great service with really good descriptions of the food. Salad came out promptly and smelled great. Looks good too. Dressing was amazing. Had the Massaya Silver. Excellent bouquet with great overtones. Had the beef tips with fresh vegetables. Cooked just right. Again, great flavor. Will definitely return.

Wonderful service and food. Lentil soup was delicious as well as the entrees. Good value for the price.
(4)Ronda N.

(5)Alice A.
(5)Craig S.
Friendly staff...when calling in for carryout or for dining in Good food...for the piece you pay and best Lebanese food in the Sterling Heights area Love the carryout $2.50 carryout chicken shawarma wrap on Tuesdays !!!! Good Hummus and good garlic spread Defiantly gets a thumb up : )
(4)Ray R.
(4)Tara M.
(5)Ali M.
(5)Zeid S.
(4)Eliz M.
Excellent middle eastern food, a varied menu, and a good value too. Great service and a nice vegetarian selection. Highly recommended.
(4)Gabriel A.

(5)Pilar W.
Their Shish Tawook is kebab done so right, just as all shish kebab should be -- Yummm, and shukran shukran!
(4)Karen M.
(3)David M.
(5)Jason B.
(5)Nancy S.
(5)Jaclyn D.
(1)James M.
Great service, food and experience. Reasonably priced I would go back. I recommend the whole boneless chicken with hummus, fattoush and rice btw
(5)Rochelle S.
(3)Dena S.
(5)Rick S.
Without question the best Lebanese food. on the east side. The owner has came to our table with a smile and to make sure everything is 100% almost every time we eat there. Kibbee nay eh is better than my grandfathers. Even had great entertainment there for a while. A true gem. I love it.
(5)Ronya B.
(5)Ina M.
(5)Theresa W.

(4)Tea C.
Had dinner here at the end of March and I'm really impressed. Absolutely great middle eastern cuisine - particularly the crushed lentil soup. Nice service, beautiful atmosphere. Always busy. This is a place to go again and again.
(4)Ann P.
(3)Tim K.
(2)Robert B.
The Shish Tawook is delicious and the garlic sauce is dangerously good.
(4)Brian S.
(4)Kimberley S.
The Food is amazing. Great portions, I just wish that they didnt charge so much for hummus. It beyond overpriced.
(4)Bill B.
(3)Gigi F.
Went to dinner with the team. We split a few appetizers, hummus, eggplant, wings, all very good. The pita is fresh baked and hot - best ever! Fattoush salad was great, and my chicken entree with veggies was good. Service was great! I'd eat there again!
(4)Samantha B.
(4)Pauly G.
(3)Qian Y.
(4)Phillip B.
(1)Tina T.
(4)Ak S.
Great food, terrible service, took a long time to get refills and extra ranch.
(3)Nicole B.
(5)Shawn W.
(4)Sandra C.
(3)Samir N.
(5)Melissa W.
My coworkers and I love this place!! The service has never disappointed us. They take our call ahead and have the food ready when we arrive to accommodate our 45 minute lunch. My husband and I have also made this one of our favorite spots! The smoothies are delicious.
(5)Tom F.
(4)Daniel R.
(5)Howard L.
Good food and service. Nice building interior.
(4)Aivilo E.
(4)Lakeysha C.
(2)Kooky M.

Its top on my list now for Middle Eastern in Macomb County.

i took my son there for dinner tonight and was very disappointed with the service. we ordered appetizers and placed our dinner order at the same time. i ordered a glass of wine and my son a smoothie. my wine came out immediately and we waited about 5 minutes for his smoothie. our appetizers came out, and about a half an hour later our food finally came out. while waiting for our food i asked the server for 2 glasses of water and asked her what brand of moscato she served me, of course it was the most expensive glass they sold. by the time we finished our food i still didnt get the water that i ended up asking her for 3 different times. i do want to say that the food was excellent but i am also a server and this was very upsetting. we were basically ignored by the server until we were walking to the door and she already had her more than generous tip in hand and said thank u have a nice night.
