Location/Parking: on 14 between Schoenherr and Hoover in a strip mall with ample parking. Pricing: Very reasonable. Cleanliness: usually pretty clean and swept. Clean tables and restrooms Service Quality: The servers always have that down-home attitude and treat you well. Ambience/Atmosphere: The place hasn't been updated in ages. No frills, but not dumpy in any way. It is just a diner where people eat. Crowd: Older crowd and families with young kids mostly...it seemed The food: HUGE portions...they have the typical Detroit diner fare with a mix of Polish/Italian and basically hearty down home cooking. I always liked the burgers and the chicken strip dinners are always top notch. They usually have specials of the day that varies daily so keep an eye out for that. You will probably take home leftovers.

It's kind of what you expect, old dinner atmosphere, with old dinner type food, but with Polish and Greek food. You will not be blown away but all of the food is decent, the wait staff is nice, and the prices are fair. It's my go to place for a weekend breakfast.

You want atmosphere? Don't go here. You want a fantastic wait staff? Don't go here. You want the very best cabbage roll you've ever eaten in your entire life? GO TO BRANDON'S!!! I didn't like that every single thing I ordered came out all at once (soup, salad, and main meal). Everyone else in my family ordered something different, and thought it was a little bland. But, they do know how to make a phenomenal cabbage roll. I can assure you of that! It was that good that I'll go back simply for that.

Really enjoyed this place. Wife and I stopped in for dinner today. Delicious. Portions were huge and the prices were the lowest I've seen at a place like this. Our meals cost less than fast food. I ordered a cheeseburger and got two sides, so I asked for fries X2. They actually gave me two separate plates with fries instead of one small pile and calling it two like a lot of other places do. Wife got the small Julienne salad and loved it. Again, the "small" was huge. Staff was friendly, too. Really glad we ate here!

Stopped in amidst running some errands. Really had a craving for hash browns and an omelet... Ordered a Western with cheddar... Everything was burnt...burnt (crispy) hash browns... I'm not a fan of well done hash browns...and these were CriSPY... Browned omelet (over cooked eggs...yuk)...yet the green pepper, ham, and onion weren't that cooked on the insides... And the butter on my toast tasted a little old.. Large portions, friendly service...but this missed the mark with this very simple menu request. I probably wouldn't go back..

Tried to order a breakfast. First I wanted 2 eggs and turkey sausage with tomatoes. I was told you get 3 eggs if you want turkey sausage and He won't substitute tomatoes for hash browns. So I am paying more for one egg I did not want and no hash browns. Last time I will come here. Best part the waitress wanted to know of I would like pancakes instead of the hash browns ah no I am trying to cut down the calories and not add to them. Then my eggs came over easy when I ordered over medium.

Gross gross gross. Came here with a group of friends because we're new to the area and I will not be back. I ordered the Philly cheese sub and the beef was very dry & the sandwich over all was just bad. My friend returned is burger because it tasted like a frozen brick. I wouldn't recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

Yelp you led me astray this time... Maybe it was because we came at a slow time, or maybe the chef was on vacation? I can only give 2 stars - simply for the friendly service and how clean the dining area was. I ordered the meatless Polish combo.... Deep fried pierogi? I am Polish American, and have been eating Polish food in Hamtramck, MI and Greenpoint, NY - two original (OG) Polish places! I have never once had deep fried pierogi. The cheese inside was affected by the pierogi being thrown into the deep fryer - no flavor, just fried flavorless crunch. It came with potato pancakes that were grey. Yes, grey. They did not have hashbrowns in them, it was mashed potatoes put on a griddle (that was grey?) and grilled until brownish grey. No seasoning, no flavor. It also came with crepes. I was excited about that and asked what it came with inside. Nothing. They come with NOTHING inside. When have you had a crepe with NOTHING inside? You need a sweet cheese or a strawberry/fruit filling - always. Looking at my meatless Polish combo, all I saw was a brown/grey covered plate. This is not Polish food. Only decent thing served was the chicken dumpling soup. It was a bright shining star in the whole meal.

Large portions and homemade soups are wonderful here. I agree that the pierogis suck. So avoid those. But if you want something w all of the sides AND dessert included, this is the place. Service is avg to above avg - and the feel is very diner-like.

While the decor is nothing too special, it's nice & clean! Salad was just bagged lettuce - nothing special. The chicken noodle soup was homemade & fantastic. I got chicken with broccoli & cheese, mashed potatoes w/gravy (potatoes were homemade & slightly lumpy - YUM) & it came w/fresh carrots too. For just a $1 more than the "a la carte" price, you get your choice of 3 different items - that is where the soup & salad came from and I also had chocolate pudding! YUMMY! (and all included for that extra $1 - great value)! The waitresses were super nice & seemed to all work together. Was a nice experience - food was good. I will for sure go back!

Great price for great food! I had the stuffed cabbage and pierogi, my husband had the chicken tender pita. We were both impressed with our first visit. Will definitely return!

    O. M. G! I just LOVE this place! The service is awesome - everybody is friendly, prompt, coffee is always full. The potato pancakes are top of the line! They also have a delicious pickle soup that is not to be missed. The mini breakfast isn't very mini, but is yummy. They have great hash browns - try them with onion added. And the coffee? Mmmmm mmmmm good! If you haven't tried Brandon's yet, do yourself a favor and go. You won't be sorry!

I had been to this place many times when I was younger and living at home - but hadn't been back in years. Sunday morning (AKA noonthirtyish) after the Yelp event - we definitely needed to feed our hangover before we picked up our child. So - the inside of this place is not anything to look at. It is totally your typical strip mall family restaurant that caters to senior citizens and has a framed photo of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the wall. We were lucky to grab an open table without waiting in line with the churchgoing folks of Macomb County. The menu is pretty broad - with all sorts of breakfast served all day long, sandwiches and typical old-people food - and a page or two of the menu with a strong emphasis on Polish food. The waitstaff was pretty attentive - they did a good job of keeping things moving as the place was busy and had a line going for a while there. They seem to have lots of regulars - so that is usually a good sign. Again - nursing the hangover - we both got breakfast food. I got the some giant breakfast combo plate and my husband ordered an omelette. I don't mean to bore you with the details - but I need you to understand how much food appeared on our table: 2 plates of toast 3 eggs 2 giant pieces of ham 2 fat breakfast sausages 4 slices of bacon like a pound of hashed browns a similar sized pound of french fries an omelette that was like a foot long and 4 or 5 inches across The sight of it was disturbing - and I promise you we did not eat all of it. This was the perfect way to sop up all of the Zodiac still lingering in my system. Quality of food? About par for a family diner. The bacon was fattier than I would have liked - but everything else was good. They ask you what kind of cheese you want in your omelette - it's nice to have options. In summary- we had that table-full of food, a pop and a coffee for $16.08. Nothing to go out of your way for - but if you are in the area and HUNGRY, this is not a bad choice.

The chefs here need to learn how to use salt, pepper or some kind of seasoning, yuk!

Food was good I had the veal Parmesan it was fresh veal on the Sunday specials my daughter had fish and chips. My meal came with 3 sides I had soup chicken and dumpling it was good as for other 2 sides the waitress offered if I wanted to I could get 2 desserts so we did rice pudding and she had chocolate pudding. Price was decent with a classic diner feel and wait staff was nice.

The Polish food here wasn't the best, but they refunded me for my plate when I only had two bites so I cannot complain. The French Toast my friend had looked decent though.
