We had the falafel & chicken shawarma sandwiches. Awesome. Not too much pickle. Hummus delicious. Great prices.

This place needs a reset button. I used to love it, now I don't even wanna consider it. Times change, cooks change, food starts to change. I might try again one day but it won't be soon.

Amazing salads, rice and lentil soup.. Sandwich lunch combo is such a great value, plus they give you garlic and bread right away, can't beat it!! The new location is on mound between 16 & 17 mile.. Place is spotless and beautiful!

Took a drive and found this place by accident, but it was a happy accident. The guys who were working there were very nice, chatting with me while waiting for my dinner to come out. This gave the restaurant a sense of 'home'. The chicken shawarma was quite good, not hard and tough like some places I've tried. Oh, and the quantity! Enough for 4 sandwiches. I loved the fact that the choice was for rice, fries or hummus (most places don't give those options) and yes, I opted for the later. Their hummus was very creamy. That was the very first thing you will notice during the first bite. The one thing that I really wanted to try was their lentil soup and was again amazed by the size of the bowl, and the flavor was just as large. Much creamier than some that I've had elsewhere. I would definitely go back again for the lentil soup and hummus.

I order the lambs tongue and the lamb shank meals for my family and they are incredibly amazing!! I can't stop taking the lords name in vain when I eat their food!! The best Lebanese in the area! Even though what we order is pricey we make a point to visit once a month at least. They've been around for years and I hope they never leave!

My mom had the chicken fattoush salad, which she enjoyed. That looked like it had about 1 pound of chicken on top. I had the "Stuffed Mix" of grape leaves and stuffed cabbage. It sounded amazing but was absolutely flavorless. No thanks, won't be bothering again.

Simply the best in town! Even better that the restaurants in Dearborn I swear! The service is definately not the best - They are very rude! But! - We carry out and take it all th way back home. Best Kibbie ever, fresh and perfect spices.

Great food....nice people too. Have been eating there for several years. Top notch Taboolee and Hummus as well as superb main dishes. Beats driving all the way to Dearborn for authentic Lebanese food.

I eat here regularly and I am always impressed with the quality and authenticity of the food.I believe that their lamb shank is the best in the metro Detroit area and one of the best I've had anywhere in the U.S. Similarly, the lentil soup is seamy and flavored flawlessly. It is difficult not to lick the bowl! If you want authentic lebanese food this is the place. You will not be disappointed.

Great meal. Our server Amy made us feel like a regular. We were recommended here by a co worker of my wife. Great call going there for dinner. We stopped in the bakery next door and bought $20 worth of cookies and other things.

One of my favorite Lebanese restaurants. LOVE the family who owns it. Especially the father from Lebanon. He's super sweet. With that said.. The best salad and hummus. I could eat it every day. The mixed grill is my husband's favourite. LOVE the shish kafta. My favorite are the grapeleaves. The soups are delicious. I LOVE the fact you can watch them prepare your meal. Don't forget to go next door for some sweets. The best baklava in the country.

I've been going to this place for over 20 years now and still one of my favorite restaurants I've ever been to. They have the best chicken creamchop and beef shawarma sandwiches ever. A++++++++++

Ok I must say, they have excellent food. But that's it. This restaurant has possibly the worst service I've ever gotten anywhere. The waiter completely ignored us when we got there. We sat for quite a while, and he didn't even bring any water or complimentary pita bread when he finally did come. We actually had to ask for the bread. He took forever to bring us our food, and forgot the salad, so I ended up asking for it when he brought the food. I didn't get my salad until I was already done with all my other food. The waiter never checked on us to refill our drinks or to see how are food was. And we ended up having to track him down just to get our bill. Moral of the story? Only order carry-out from here, or just go to the Lebanese Grille or Ollie's where they have excellent food AND service.

I've been living in California for 3 years so when I moved back into town 2 days ago, my priority was to feed my craving for authentic middle eastern food! I've actually never tried Beirut Palace before I moved but, it was the closest to me so I decided to give it a try. The food was actually amazing! Definitely hit the spot. The hummus is one of the best I've ever eaten in my life and the lentil soup was thick and tasty. I also got the vegetarian grape leaves and were very please with them. They are a little on the small size but delicious. My only complaint was the price seemed kind of expensive for the portion sizes especially my little piece of baklava that I paid $2 for. Interesting fact: they had bottles of olive oil for sale that they say is from their fields in Lebanon. I'd be interested to buy some next time I'm there!

The food was great. The Detroit area is spoiled with great choices of Mediterranean food. We ordered the combo for 2 and it was plenty of both me and my wife. Our food was a touch dry BUT we were picking it up and had a 30-40 minute drive before getting to eat. I can only assume that eating in the store would've been better. Definitely worth the trip after a day of shopping with the family!

This restaurant was my favorite place to eat for several years. The only reason it isn't any more is because I moved across the country. I used to work nearby and would eat at this place at least twice a week. I would get the Chicken Cream Chop Sandwich with fries most of the time, but would occasionally get a gyro, shwarma or falafel sandwich. The guys who worked there were always friendly.

Beirut Palace Restaurant is located on the corner of 15 mile and Dequindre in a little strip mall. The restaurant has a very middle eastern look from the outside and the interior decor is nothing spectacular. Just a bunch of tables and chairs. I usually order chicken/beef kabobs from here but this time I tried: a. Stuff mix (stuffed grape leaves and cabbage stuffed with rice and meat) with a yogurt dip on the side. Its nothing amazing ..just average.. b. Foul...its basically peas mashed up with olive oil, onions and tomatoes ..I would definitely NOT recommend this...it lacks any kind of flavor and the texture feels weird... In general my rule of thumb is never to get anything vegetarian from a middle eastern restaurant because I've yet to have a positive experience.

The place has great sandwiches, and pre meal bread is amazing too. The only negative about this place was the slow service on a slow Sunday afternoon. I love the location and the fact that you can enjoy hookah outside.

I eat at Beirut Palace at least once a week. For my money, this is some of the best Middle Eastern food in Detroit. And there is a lot of competition in this mostly-Chaldean neighborhood. The Beirut Palace in Sterling Heights is a cozier version of the Royal Oak location. They also take the time to remember you. The shish tawook with lemon sauce is amazing. After dinner, stop by the Middle Eastern bakery next door for dessert. It's a community effort here.

This is a great local middle eastern restaurant for take-out or going out on a weeknight. My family and I have been coming here for years. The food is delicious. The service is great and food comes out very fast.

Probably one of the best middle eastern restaurants I have eaten at...ever. The staff is great and the food is tasty! I am always more then happy to drive 20 minutes out of my way to eat here rather then somewhere closer to my homestead....as for their sister restaurant in Royal Oak...THAT staff needs to take a lesson or two from this place...like NOT chasing after your customers as they are leaving because you did not think the tip was good enough.

PUT A ZONE IN MY DOG the waitress was really cute and her boss treated her like shit. i got the lamb kafta after asking the cute waitress to explain what these sandwiches tasted like when i damn well know. got some cool drink called the ENERGIZER which was funny because the staff referred to it as "the energizer" rather than a juice which are all priced the same. wasn't my fav spot but man i'm not a snob... it was tasty for sure. hummus tasted good, kafta tasted good. it was cool and i liked it. the way it tastes. cool experience, best strip mall IMO... just wish the arab music shop next door knew ANYTHING about the music they sell! why you gotta gimme a weird look when i wanna bring my own tape deck man? i'm gonna call the place tomorrow and tell that dick owner that his employees are doing a great job. that guy sucks and probably has weird issues going on at home (maybe with a close one) and takes it out on his employees? cmon man how you gonna make me wanna support your business if you can't treat your female workers with respect?? the cool thing about this place is that it was the first ever arabic restaurant to ever open in detroit, so there are all these historical artifacts everywhere. I MEAN HOW OFTEN DO YOU GET TO EAT NEXT TO A CAMEL??? TEEE HEEE

The high point of this restaurant is that the use fresh feta on their Greek salads. A low point is that the always forget something when I order carry out. Other than that, the food is pretty standard. I prefer Sahara around the corner.

My four star rating implies nothing more than the simple fact that there may be better Lebanese food in the Oakland/Macomb area, but I have yet to find it. EDIT - This is the best. Hands down. I am a flexitarian. To some, this means I am one of those granola-crunching so-and-sos who eats vegan shoes and wears raw juices. Not quite. In reality, I love good food. Sometimes this translates into primarily eating vegetarian dishes at certain restaurants. But, I digress, as I am wont to do. My point is that after trying the Shish Kafta at Beirut Palace, I have not gone back to my Vegetarian Platter-eating ways. The hummus, while a tad pricey at $6.99, has a delightful bitterness and a thick texture that I prefer over the over-pureed, watered down alternatives I have encountered elsewhere. The lemon chicken rice soup is phenomenal, if not a tad overwhelming, and the lentil soup is subtly delicious. The Shish Kafta is noticeably spiced and grilled to medium-well perfection, and served over a bed of rice pilaf, or with fries. I chose the rice, and highly recommend doing so. Also, I prefer a hint of some sort of sauce when I eat meat, so I usually request a small side of yogurt or garlic sauce to eat with the kafta. The vegetarian platter is great for those who do not eat meat, or who really enjoy falafel and stuffed grape leaves. I'm a picky falafel eater, but it is really good here. If I weren't in love with Shish Kafta, I would get this assortment of vegetarian goodies. You should eat here. The service can be a tad flaky, but in a charming sort of way.
