Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Great food and great pizza. Service is always friendly. Their lunch buffet is a great value and has a lot a variety in their selection. All the food has a homemade taste and quality to it.

Nice authentic Italian family owned place. Excellent decor, ambiance, very good food. Nice lunch buffet. The kind of place where the owners come out and interact with the clientele.

After reading mixed reviews, and Trini's down the road closed on Mondays I decided to try it with my lady. It took a while in an almost empty building to even see the waitress, she had obviously been eating in the back and forgot about the rest of the floor. I ordered the chips and cheese deluxe, and cheeseburger deluxe pizza - my lady ordered a club sub. The chips came out wrong, after a longer than expected wait, so we chose to take them as is. The place started getting busier and busier, to much for one waitress to handle, and she had to neglect table cleaning and checking in frequent. I received my main dish after a long wait for what we ordered. The pizza, wasn't very appetizing. I would have preferred a frozen pizza to be completely honest. My lady said her club was sufficient, nothing special. She did however refuse to eat the burnt portion of her sandwich because of the abnormal flavor from it. Didn't bring home leftovers, which isn't very normal for her. I would not eat here again, go any day but Monday and hit Trini's down the road instead.

Sad to say, our last visit was not the best.. The place has turned into a day-care for small kids who go there and cry. Not as good as it was two months ago..even the help complains about each outher..food priced too high and service is only so so... I think they were a lot better before.... May not go there again as there is so many other places to eat in town..

Over the past year, Angela's has gone through some major revamping. Their new chef brought wonderful dishes with him. There are things on the menu like fish sticks that are clearly frozen and come out like mush. However, if you pick from the new 'chef selections' menu, you will find fresh salmon and other tasty items. Also, best pizza in town - no question. Give this place a try but make sure to be careful about what you order to make sure to have an enjoyable meal.

It blows my mind to know that I can get an authentic Italian meal prepared from old family recipes in my small west Michigan town. I love Angela's red sauce! You can't lose with their pizza or subs; however, I can't lose with their meat or cheese manicotti. I'm not an Italian wine connoisseur, so I do find myself struggling with a decent beverage accompaniment. My only wish is that the atmosphere were a little less run of the mill 'American Main St.', but when the food is great I can look past the lack of ambiance.

Angela's Italian Restaurant caught my eye for one reason on my lunch break... it said they had a lunch buffet. Not always the best reason to stop and try a place out, but in my case it's often reason enough. Upon entering you'll notice the small bar area (which looks rather cozy) to your left and the restaurant seating to your right. Neither section is very large, but it seems to add a bit of charm to the place. Definitely not shabby surroundings but it's not hip, trendy, and brand new either. It's almost precisely what you would expect... a nice "lived in" feel is in the atmosphere. When I went there was only one waitress. Not a problem because I was only the third patron in the place. The other table was an older couple. Also there for the buffet, apparently. $7 for an Italian buffet though, man, it seems like you can't go wrong. Then you notice something - this place is pretty small. The buffet area is even smaller. There really can't be that much variety out there with such limited space, can there? The sad fact of the matter is, there can't. A single pizza (half ham, half pepperoni), a salad bar (which is almost HALF of the buffet experience), a weird taco lasagna thing, breadsticks, and some meatballs... that's what I got for my $7. The pizza wasn't bad, but it's a little hard to screw up pizza - bread, sauce, cheese, and meat. If any of these aforementioned ingredients are lacking in quality, just up the cheese... it'll cover it. The taco lasagna stuff was... interesting. I did get seconds but not because it was particularly good just because I HAD to taste it again. The meatballs were nothing special at all. If I had been more rude, I would have gotten my $7 worth just by chowing down most of that pizza but I had to leave some for the other patrons that slowly started to trickle in as the lunch hour ripened. The menu looked like it was pretty interesting, but if the quality of the food is only a little bit better when ordering off then menu as opposed to the buffet, I think I'd pass and save my cash for somewhere else. Angela's Italian Restaurant & Pizza is an okay spot and I wouldn't avoid it like the plague, but I'm sure not in any rush to go back there either.

Our first visit, got takeout after daughters volleyball tourney at town n country days. Got Hawaiian pizza, meat Stromboli, and chef salad. Everything was very good, very fresh ingredients. Would have liked a cheesier Stromboli, probably order double cheese next time, but I like it to ooze cheese. Manager took care of us, very friendly, and order was ready ten minutes early. Overall, very happy and will definitely be back.
