Pretty good. Clean. Prices are good and menu selection is huge. I had the biscuit and gravy..one of the best i have tasted.

Solid neighborhood diner. We mainly go for breakfasts. The omletts are good (I usually get the philly cheesesteak omlette) the skillets are uninspired but the corned beef hash is fantastic. Made with real corned beef, not pressed corned beef.

Went today for lunch and it was my first time at this restaurant. Service was very fast, food came out quick and delicious and the restaurant was very clean.

Places like these go the extra effort to be stellar. The service is excellent, the food is amazing and it's not over priced. Been going here for years. Their breakfast is bomb diggity, and their lunch and dinner items are slammin. No complaints, this place is the truth! Have been and will go here for eons on end. (",)

Clean, updated atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Farmers omelette with toast was 5.99. Coffee is standard restaurant grade (meh). On a second visit, I ordered a cobb salad, which was loaded with chicken and bacon. It was pretty on a plate, but I would have preferred it to have come tossed so I wouldn't have run the risk of spilling salad on the table. The desserts in the showcase look great; lots of pies and cakes. I plan on saving room for some carrot cake next time!

Alrighty... Food was good. Service was good (wasn't a big crowd in at the time.) I ordered the Hot Roast Beef Sandwich, at first glance it just seemed to be a big taste smelling pill of gravy. I had to eat it with a fork. I've had plenty of Roast Beef Sandwiches in my lifetime but I have to admit this was my first smothered in gravy. Was very tasty but nothing that knocked me out off the seat. Only thing I feel the need to say which is why I rated it a 3 star instead of a 4 star... It said a big pile of roast beef, idk maybe it was just my experience but I was kind of expecting a little more. Truly wasn't much roast beef on my sandwich. BUT, overall my experience is great. I'll definitely be making a roast beef sandwich smothered in gravy at home. I feel it can be easily duplicated with same tastefully satisfying results.

This place pulled a full blown day ruiner. I will keep this short and simple, but first and foremost I'd recommend finding a different place to eat. When one holds a menu in their hands and places an order for "Item A," and "Item A," costs $2.50 according to the menu that you were given, you should pay $2.50 for that item, correct? Correct. This is not the case at Bizzy Bee Coney Island. I had came here with some family members and everything went well up until it came time to pay for the food. I reviewed my receipt and saw that I had been overcharged. "No big deal," I thought to myself. Things like this happen and they get corrected, no sweat. Wrong. I address the issue very politely as I hate doing things like this, it embarrasses me. When I had the menu lying before us with the ticket next to the item in question, it clearly showed that I had been charged the wrong price. Plain as day, a mistake had been made. The waitress straight up REFUSED to correct it, saying that the price on the ticket was correct. That is some bullshit and is illegal. I can't sell you a pop for $1, wait for you to drink it and be like "LOL! $2!!!" That's bait and switch, that's deception. I was blown away by this lady's attitude. An attitude of "You are dumb, I am smart, I work here, I call the shots, deal with it." I had never encountered anything like this before, it was insane. Instead of apologizing for the incorrect prices and charging me what it was advertised as, she continued to demand I owed what was on the ticket. I calculated what I owed (with a tip too, I shouldn't have left a tip, I'm an idiot), and left it for her. I'm not about to get swindled by a self righteous Coney Island. Go to Zorba's.

The food is good, the prices are great! When we call to order take out the food is ready fast. The Wild berry lemonade is delishious!

I will give no stars. They left me seating way to long an paid more attentions to regulars than other customers. They over charged me. The manager told me that I should never come back again. So I will not. They also took food away without asking. Never again.

So mad that I waited so long to try this lil' yellow diner. The silly bee sign outside should have lured me in sooner. Better late than never, right?! Their breakfast is cheap, hot, and fast. I order the 'grand slam' style breakfast and EVERYTHING is cooked to perfection. My dipping eggs are never overcooked or undercooked. Eggs are easy to screw up and screw up, they do not! My pancakes are always fluffy too; not chewy. Bonus?? They serve breakfast all day. Yay for us late starters!! Their roast beef sandwich is gigantic, smothered in yummy brown gravy, and piled high with mashed potatoes. I recommend this sandwich. It's picture worthy and taste as good as it looks. Keep in mind, the sandwich is stacked so high, you will most likely need a box for leftovers. This cutesy diner is a tad on the greasy side but that's what makes a diner a diner, in my opinion. Tables, silverware, and bathrooms are clean. That's all that matters to me (other than the food, of course). As for service, waitstaff has always been friendly, efficient, and fast. You can be out of there in less than an hour. Great if you are stopping in on your lunch break. Prices across the board are affordable. Cheap eats! My kind of place!

Bizzy Bee Coney Island: Not Quite Louie's, but Almost as Good So, this place was a Louie's location up until 2008, when Louie pulled out of Southgate. I held that against this place for five years. But, once I got over it, I realized how good the food is, how friendly the service is, and how affordable the entire menu is. I have not tried their coney dogs (a real rarity for me), but I have sampled around their menu, and it is all pretty tasty. Here is my review of a few select dishes: Greek Salad w/ Gyro Meat - 10/10: This contains several different vegetables, including lettuce, cucumbers, banana peppers, olives, and beets. Full Salads come with a side of pita bread, and you can get gyro meat (seasoned lamb) on top of the salad, which contains feta cheese. Tip: order a side of cucumber sauce, and you can make mini-gyros! Omelets - 7/10: They make three egg omelets, but you can have them make you one with four eggs upon request, at an additional cost. Sandwiches - 6/10: I've never had a bad sandwich, but they don't knock you away. The Monte Cristo is okay, as is the Reuben. The service is friendly and fast, and everything is at a pretty reasonable price. They also put out coupons to help you save even more. It's a pretty good, quick meal out, if that's all you're looking for.

Small and quaint with updated décor! The place is clean and the waitstaff is friendly and very attentive. The food is pretty good. We've had breakfast there a number of times. They're always nicely priced and taste great. We had lunch there for a first time a short while ago and everything was delicious. Typical food you would expect from a coney island, but with extra attention to detail. Burgers tasted fresh and not of the frozen patty origin. Salads were crisp and my gyro was great. Also, we got pickle spears with our lunches! I never really miss lunch being served with a pickle, until I get one with a pickle and remember how nice it is. Be sure to check out their special board, which is a little hard to see posted up behind the bar seating area!

Good food, not expensive at all and fast service. Good for those nights you don't want to cook. Normal coney type cook but with a healthier feel. You don't feel like your heart is going to explode after eating here because they use to much grease.

I've been here hundreds of times. It is clean.Staff is nice. for breakfast you cant go wrong with eggs and toast. French toast is precooked sysco. Sausage gravy from a can. If it wasnt for sysco prepack's these places wouldnt exist

As soon as we came in the waitress said they wouldn't accept our Entertainment Daily Deal coupon. How can they say no when I paid $7 for the deal? The food was good, but I probably wouldn't go back because I was ripped off.

Tonight was my 3rd time ordering from Bizzy Bee, and the first time I had eaten inside the restaurant. I'm happy to report that I am very pleased with my experience. I work about a half mile down the street, and my coworkers order from here often. The first two times I had eaten here was at work, ordering in breakfast with my coworkers. They have always been nice, accommodating of our large take out orders (10 people or so), and the food is always good. Dining in tonight was a similar experience. Very good. 4/5 stars is a very accurate rating, in my opinion. I ordered the Frisco Salad with blue cheese dressing. I was impressed as soon as server brought it over. There was a very generous portion of almost all the toppings -- the cheese and tomato covered the lettuce entirely, as did the bacon. The chicken was just a normal amount, but plenty -- although it was just a little overcooked. I was happy that their salads come with warm pita bread, because I think it's the perfect side for a salad. I was slightly disappointed that the egg was a hard boiled egg, chopped in half, as opposed to diced... but with a dinner this good, I wasn't complaining. The blue cheese dressing wasn't exceptional... rather bland as most restaurant blue cheeses tend to be. Anyway, minor gripes aside, it was a great salad and I thoroughly enjoyed it -- plus had enough to bring home for tomorrow. The interior is quite nice, updated and pretty modern for a coney island. I read an article online (from 9/2011) talking about the place being under new management and changing names, about three years ago. The owner said he wanted something fresh and new, that was carpeted and clean -- someplace you'd want to take your family to. I think he achieved this goal. The quality of the decor inside is apparent as you walk by, and you can't help but notice once you walk in the door. It really makes the dining experience a better one. It's nice to look at, plus the cleanliness gives you a good feeling about eating there. Service was pretty good! The servers were several young girls, probably just out of high school -- but they were all nice and friendly and seemed to get along. They did talk among themselves quite a bit, but the subject matter was appropriate and my service didn't suffer because of it. I chat with my coworkers in the office, so I don't mind that they talked too because they didn't ignore the customers while doing it. When I was done looking at the menu (which took like 10 minutes, mind you), the server that had gotten my drink was out at a table, while I was seated at the bar. Another sever saw me sitting there patiently, and politely asked if Sarah was my server. She then told me she'd be right over, and even hung around until she came back and made sure to tell her I was ready. I'm somewhat critical of customer service, and it made a good impression on me that another server was friendly and helpful and made sure that I was helped when I wasn't even her customer. Anyhow, my order was taken promptly, arrived quickly, and she checked in with me 2-3 times but was not overbearing. Great service -- although they were not at all busy, for the record. This is a pretty awesome coney island. The only local place that I like more than this one is Ted's in Allen Park, but that place is hard to beat. If you're thinking about coming here, DO IT! You won't be sorry! P.S. I almost want to rate it 5 stars just because the current rating is so low and I don't think it's deserving! That's how much I like this place. (:

Best French toast I've ever had (fruit, sour cream). Go here once - you'll come back! Very pleasant wait staff.

This was my 3rd trip to this diner, when you first walk in it's cleaner and newer looking than the average diner. the seats are clean with no rips, cracks tears and the table tops are in very good shape also. the service is good no sooner do you pick your table than the waitress is dropping off your menus and taking your drink order. The food we ordered came in pretty fast ( breakfast ) and it was a lot! I was stuffed and the wife couldn't finish all of hers. so all in all a bit better than your average coney island.

Our "go to" place for a perfect breakfast. Service always friendly and quick. They also have the best chicken noodle soup. If you ask for crispy bacon, you get it to perfection. The hot turkey sandwich is another yum treat.
