So everyone knows Starbucks. Hell, there are 2 more Starbucks locations within a mile of this store (one is in Target, the other is in the Market Fresh grocery store). But I really enjoy this location. It is close to my house and on the way to work (well just a half mile out of the way), the employees are friendly and there is a drive thru. The staff really make this store great. I don't frequent it enough for them to know my order as soon as I walk in the door, but I have noticed there are several other customers who are regulars and the employees know their drink order. They are always super friendly and I sometimes get sucked into their suggestions for treat along with my coffee. This morning I stopped in for a caffeine fix and an apple fritter with my Starbucks gift card. I only had $5 left on the card, leaving me 34 cents short. But the nice guy working the register just took it out of the tip jar so I didn't have to put 34 cents on my credit card. I did put the 20ish pennies I had in my purse and will be sure to leave a proper tip the next time I'm in. The drive thru can sometimes get backed up during the morning rush hour, but it does move quickly or you can park and go inside and it's pretty quick. I've never seen both the drive thru and inside busy at the same time.

The staff here is always friendly and quick. There's not a lot if space inside the store, so it can be challenging if you want to meet here with someone. Particularly if you want to meet with more than two people. And it's very busy, so the drive-thru line is always long. No matter the time of day. So be prepared to wait. They do have a big selection of goodies, though. And clean bathrooms!! Yay!

Starbucks at Target in Southfield is consistently the best one in the area. Although you're not allowed tip the Baristas, you wouldn't know it from the friendly, top-notch service and the A+ drinks.

I go to this Starbucks quiet often and its one of the best ones in the area. They are always fast and friendly. Its literally at max a 5-7 minute turn around time in the morning when I get my coffee and oatmeal. I would highly recommend this Starbucks over the others in the area.

You'll find me here Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays on way to work. The drive-thru is busy, but efficient. The staff is friendly (even if I do get harassed about my MSU credit card:) ) and the drinks are prepared well. They do have a tendency to run out of the breakfast sandwiches, which is a teeny tiny bit frustrating... but what can you do! I probably dont' really NEED need one anyway. I also prefer to stop in here when I'm Targeting across the street... a stand-alone Starbucks is ALWAYS better than a Target Starbucks :)

Starbucks is Starbucks. My last two experiences here have left a bad taste in my mouth. I went about two weeks ago and ordered a tall Pikes (which I'm pretty sure is the most popular blend) and an iced tea lemonade and they were out of Pikes. And then the gentleman that took my order rang me up and then left. Typically if you order a drip coffee the person on the register gets it while the other Barista makes the more complicated drinks. And today when I went through the drive thru to order an iced tea lemonade they were out of lemonade. I will not be returning.

This is my favorite Starbucks. Everyone who works here is very friendly. The best part about this place is that it has a drive-thru, which moves pretty quickly. The location is great because it's on the way to I-696. I wish this one was 24-hours, but if you are looking for a 24-hour Starbucks there is one on Woodward just a few miles away. If you are looking for cheap coffee, you should go to the new McDonald's across the street.

This is my go-to Starbucks! It's close to home, the service is almost always very fast and very courteous and the drinks are made the same each time. That's really what's most important to me in chain, consistency. I don't want a watered down frapp, or an iced tea lemonade that's too sweet. When I come to this location I get exactly what I want, each and every time!

Any one who is reading this review has either been to Starbucks or at least heard of the infamous chain. I am writing this review for one reason. Location, location, location. One would think that this location would be buzzing with traffic. NOT! The entrance to this particular Starbucks is awkward making the drive thru no more than 2 cars long (at least every time I go). Your in and out!

This is one of my favorite Starbucks locations. When I lived in Royal Oak I would go over here way too often to study. The people were always nice, even when I just got my coffee and sat there with my books forever. The drive-through can get backed up, but it clears pretty quickly.

Starbucks? Starbucks? Where is my starbucks? Pre-recession I could not live without this place. Found a new hideout for my $3.95 (sound like a familiar number, gas tank?) The drive through location on southfield tempted me once. I always wanted my venti skinny carmel latte ala drive through window. But buzzwonderful taste or not, my tastebuds will have to settle on 1-2 dollar plain old coffee. Perhaps we'll meet again Starbucks.
