Really nice people and I always enjoy the live music, when they have it. What a great idea! Fresh and reasonable prices.

This is my idea of good fast food. Their sandwiches might be a bit more expensive than Subway but they keep me satisfied for longer than the bargain chain. I love their chicken salad, chicken salad salad, the new turkey bacon flatbread and veggie salad. Their croutons and fat free vinaigrette is to die for (I know, why FF dressing if I'm going to get croutons, it's like getting a diet coke with a burger but I can't resist, the combination is so good. The staff here hustle hard. They are pressured to move orders thru the line from order to output in under like 3 minutes, they're good at it too. I've never had a bad sandwich or salad, it's all very consistent and predictable. While I appreciate the speed, especially at lunch time, the way they go about collecting the orders is a bit too obnoxious for me. The order taker often shouts over your head to get the persons behind you. Between them shouting and the live music playing it's just chaotic. It is so, so awkward yelling your order over someone else. It's a constant courtesy battle there. It's much better when they come down the line with a clipboard to take orders personally.

This location has fast service at lunch. Great patio to eat outside in the summer and enjoy the nice weather after being stuck in the office for a few hours. Prices are a little high, but who doesn't want a nice toasted sammy instead of the nasty Friday's next door?!

Don't order delivery. The staff will wait an hour to call you back to inform you that they're backed up and the delivery time will be in excess of two hours. Very ill run establishment.

Ate there yesterday. Great lunch and the service was great. The dining area needed a little attention, but overall nice place to eat. I had not been there in years so I was pleased!

Let me just say, I love Potbelly! But this is absolutely the best location. The food is always good and neatly prepared. Even during the busiest times the line moves quickly! The staff are always pretty friendly and they greet you with a smile! Did I mention that the food is amazing! Subway and Quiznos don't compare. Not even close. I might be a little bias because I always order the same thing. An Italian on multigrain with everything on it but mustard and mayo... a brownie cookie and a coke. Absolute heaven! I can't get enough. I only hate that they don't open until 11am (my lunch is at 10:30) and delivery requires a $25 minimum. Which means in order for them to come to my job I have to get 4 or 5 other people to order with me. Other than that, I cannot and will not complain. This place is awesome. Please don't change a thing!

The food is constantly good. The farmhouse salad is very good if you are there for lunch, they sometimes have live music. I wish they had chocolate mint shakes. The staff is friendly and work fast to get your food together. I like the fact that they have Diet Dr Pepper. I wish they had their own wi-fi. You can pick up Bigby's next door. I had to bump my review one star up, after reading reviews that don't give this place the respect that the staff deserves. They are fast, pay attention to their customers, They can go thru 20 customers in 8 minutes And yes, the subs are great! Nothing like a warm sub for lunch!

My coworkers and I ordered online for lunch and I picked up our order. We had 3 sandwiches and 2 soups, each customized to our liking. I walked in and went straight to the front of the line at the carryout register. I was greeted by the cashier who asked for the name on the order. Within minutes, I was handed a bag with our order - after 10 minutes since I clicked "submit order" online. They were busy for lunch and still had our order ready when I got there. It was impressed! When I distributed the lunches, everything was made exactly as specified and each name was printed on the sandwich bag as I'd entered them online. I was happy with the service and the way our food turned out. I have tried a few things from here. I love the grilled chicken sandwich and the chicken enchilada soup was tasty with a spicy kick. The broccoli cheese soup is nice and creamy, not too salty. I know our office will definitely order from here again very soon!

3 stars due to a staff that screams "I don't want to be here". They all come across as emotionless robots serving food. So, with that being said - the place was spotless and clean and most importantly, the sandwich was great.

Potbelly's in general is good fresh sandwiches, but their prices are steeper than subway or Jimmy John's. And this location tends to be on the slow service side... I really like their boysenberry smoothies! It's a great treat in the summer months.

Normally, Potbelly is a 4 star establishment BUT THIS POTBELLY gets three stars because the staff is in a perennially pissy mood. NOW, it could be because I always come in well after the lunch rush of douche bag yuppies. Or I could be a douche bag yuppie. Dunno. All I know is that on one a occasion I waited so long to pay that my sandwich got cold even though there was no one in line in front of me. And another time, I had a lady wave her hand at me and say, "Hello!?! What kind of sandwich do you have?" when I didn't immediately realize she was speaking to me. It just so happened that I was reading Yelp reviews on my iPhone about the allegedly fab service at this Potbelly's, which is why I didn't realize she was talking to me. That may make me a douche, but a customer nonetheless. Anywho, I am a fan of their sandwiches and I will continue to go back for my $4 skinny mushroom melt with extra hot peppers. (TIP: DOn't ever say you want lots and lots of hot peppers, you'll be in for a world of hurt). Try the skinny. I think that the sandwich is more satisfying and delicious without the extra bread.

Potbelly's is a sandwich shop that makes some delicious tasting toasted creations. Unlike Subway's $5 footlongs, Potbelly offers $5 sandwiches that are about 8" and much more dense. They don't focus on the veggies, but rather the meat and cheese. In addition to the sandwiches, you can get smoothies, milkshakes, soups, and salads. This location caters to the business lunches of Southfield, and often has lines during peak lunch hours. The staff behind the counter delivers great service. The dining area is long and has lots of seating. During the warmer weather, they even have an outdoor patio to bring your lunch to. Although the food skews more expensive that their competitors, it is different enough to justify coming back every once in a while. With options such as pickles, milkshakes, root beer floats, and Sheila's dream bars (a delicious 7-layer bar), I think it offers a little something different than Subway, Jimmy Johns, or Quiznos.

The best choice in the immediate area for a sub sandwich. It gets pretty crowded at lunchtime, but the line tends to move quickly. There is sometimes live entertainment at lunch; one of the musicians is a friend of mine. There's nothing fabulous about it, but it is the best of the chain sandwich places in the neighborhood.

I get Potbelly's to fill my potbelly when it's roaring for hotdeligoodness! (yes, that's one word.) This particular location is one of my favorites for the following reasons: PROMPT ORGANIZED SERVICE Especially during a busy lunch hour is impressive! A long line coiling all the way up to the front door doesn't scare these folks! As soon as I walk in and get in line, there's already an employee greeting me, asking me for my order. I place it, and he runs it up to the sandwich artists. By the time I pick out my chips and drink, my sandwich is hot and melty waiting for my toppings. TOPPINGS GALORE Even during a busy lunch hour, their staff pays close attention to detail and makes my sandwich exactly the way I tell them to without accidentally skipping out on anything! Marvelous :) Plus, they give me all the extra toppings i like, like their pickled hot peppers! mmm, i slather those on generously! GENUINELY NICE AND FUN STAFF Again, even with their busy lunch hour, every employee is cheery, inquisitive and fun to talk to even for a few seconds while you're moving along the line. I need to give the manager here big props, I have talked to him on several occasions and he's always put me in a better mood! You can tell his witty approach with customers sets a fun tone for this particular location. All in all, you end up getting way more than you expected, but nothing you wouldn't want to experience again!

They make a good sandwich here. If you ever been to a Potbelly, this is a typical store. If you have not been to one...they are worth a try IMO. You get you choice of bread, meats and toppings...can get it toasted if you like. They have soup, chips and desserts as well. Good quality, good taste. Fair price. A step up from the subway.

Potbelly's as a chain generally makes good food even if their sandwiches are a bit skimpy (I recommend one of the "Bigs" items if you are going to go the sandwich route there). People rave over their mini cookies but they really aren't my thing. Shakes are good. Salads fine too. As to this particular location, they seem to be slipping over time. For instance, I ordered online for fast pick-up the last time I visited this location. When I arrived to pick up my food, they had my order in the computer but never thought to make the sandwich. So I had to wait while it was made... sort of defeating the whole purpose of ordering on-line some hours earlier. Pretty annoying. They were also out of forks which kinda sucks if you get a salad.

I'd always heard Potbellys was a great sandwich joint, so when my friend and his wife came up for a visit (she wanted Quiznos), thats where I took them. I guess I should have gone first to scope it out. I see other reviews praising the service here, but I guess maybe I caught the sad sack shift or something. Being new to the establishment, we wanted to take a second to check out the menu. There was no one behind us, so it shouldnt have been a problem. The guy at the first station acted like he had to take a leak or something. Hopping around and continually asking us what we wanted AFTER we said "just a sec, checking out the menu". So I ordered the "A Wreck" on white. He starts the sandwich, then again asks me what type of bread. I again said white. He asks if i want anything else. I say no. He makes the sandwich, asks if I want anything else. Again I say no. He then turns to my friend and asks what kind of sandwich she wanted. I wasnt aware that I was supposed to move to the next station (being new to the place) so I was waiting. He then looks at me and says "will there be anything else?". Again, I say no, just waiting on my sandwich. THEN he says, "she'll give it to you down there.". Ok. Weird service aside, I have to say the sandwiches were great. Although both my friends sandwiches were prepared wrong (the girl mixed up the condiments), they both agreed they were delicious anyway. As was mine. Note - if you ask for hot peppers, WATCH them put them on because they will dump them on there. I think my mouth is still burning, LOL. SO, overall great sandwiches, so - so service.
