Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

The best Cottage Inn I've been to! They have a two medium w/ two toppings deal for $10 that we regularly order for lunch at work and it is always great. Awesome deal on very good pizza.

Love the different style of pizza they have. Also the salads and boneless chicken is good to. Been eating there pizza since college in Ypsilanti .

I am in town on business and decided to order a pizza online for delivery I check to make sure that they deliver to my area since I am about 5 miles from their location. After ordering I wait about an hour and a half, still no pizza I think this is odd but they may be busy. I call the store to get a very rude manager who asks what the address is, I tell him only for him to set the phone down and then another person come on the phone to say oh we don't deliver to that area and hang up the phone! I guess this is what you get when you have ignorant uneducated people working delivering pizza. Avoid this place order from anywhere else!

Late night, after a long road trip, we crashed at the hotel and just wanted some delivery-grade pizza. Cottage Inn Southfield was #2 on the receptionists list as the go-to pizza joints who deliver. Ordered a large pepperoni and sausage w/ extra sauce, some cheesy breadsticks and a small order of garlic-parm wings. Delivery time was long but on time-ish - exactly 45 minutes. WINGS (don't bother) The wings were scrawny, pitiful-looking things that looked thrown in the box as an afterthought. They tasted much better than they looked, but still just an overall "OK". CHEESY BREAD (yes!) The cheesy bread looked good - like a fat kid made them. Good quality bread covered with carnival claws of excellent-quality mozz and lots of pizza spiciness tickling the edges. I looked in the box and said "ooh!", tasted it. Found little gems of garlic popping all over and said "mmm-hmm, that's really good". PIZZA (excellent) Like everything else, the pizza looked good/OK, but tasted way better. It's the cheese. Must be mixed with fresh garlic because like the bread I happily discovered little tender morsels of it every bite or two. The sauce was surprisingly high-quality too, sweet-ish and still saucy and very distinguished between the cheese and the bread, with chunks of tomato and basil busting out to balance the salt and garlic happening. The crust was very good too - doughy enough for the sauce but singed on the tips/edges like it should be by a high-end commercial pizza oven. Someone put real thought/effort into the sauce-cheese-crust balance and it shows (bravo!). The pepperoni and sausage were there, but not nearly as memorable compared to the cheese, sauce and crust (which is a good/smart thing). BOTTOM LINE Do it. Consider just one topping tho, and think of it as flavoring of the cheese, not as the main event. Order extra sauce too. Forget the wings. Order cheesy bread if you like it (or need an appetizer).

Never again. Something's rotten at the Southfield Cottage Inn - not sure if it's new management or new vendors, but this location has really gone downhill in the past few months. We've ordered weekly for the past five years, but recently their pizzas are noticeably different... the taste of the sauce has changed for the worse, the crust used to be deliciously flaky, but now it's actually cardboard-like in texture, the salad lettuce no longer crisp, salad veggies no longer fresh. Either their online ordering system doesn't work, or the staff doesn't follow the orders, because our order has been wrong the past five times. First couple of times, I called and the manager gave us a credit. Last time I called, he said he had nothing to do with the online ordering system, so I was out of luck. I emailed corporate, no response. I really miss the old Cottage Inn, it's Hungry Howies for our house from now on!

Ordered pizza and a salad to the hotel...no plates, red pepper flakes, or even a fork for the salad. It was cheap, but I had to eat over the sink. Comical.

I have a cottage inn pizza place near my house and it's been our go to place for pizza for the past 6 years. So, I thought why not try the one that's near my work...NO WAY NEVER AGAIN. The pizza was HORRIBLE. The pizza was overcooked. So dry and bland. The meat was crunchy...it was GROSS. We also ordered a side of the boneless chicken tenders. FREAKING GROSS! They actually tasted like they were undercooked and still frozen. Ate one and threw the rest out. Also explain to me where the free delivery area is. My work place is right by lahser high school and I was charged $3 for delivery. Had I known there was such a steep charge for delivery, I wouldn't have tipped them $3.50. BUMMER!

Ordered a chicken club sub type thing for delivery - arrived quick, nice driver, was still warm, tasted great. I have no complaints.

Placed an order on line, arrived to pick it up and was told they didn't have an order for me. Left, got the order number, returned, THEN they FINALLY went over to the fax machine or whatever the printer is to receive the order, and it was there!! They never bothered to check when they told me they had no order NOR did they even NOTICE an order had come in!! Why offer on-line ordering if you aren't going to bother with those orders?? Poor service and very unhelpful until they could tell I was frustrated and mentioned complaining to corporate.. Avoid this location!!

I live in Cleveland, Ohio but spend some time in Detroit, Michigan. One of my favorites here is Cottage Inn Pizza. Great stuff, if perhaps a bit pricey. However...the website for this company, which covers all locations, is a complete and utter mess. No matter how I try to order, it asks me to enter my address to find the closest restaurant that has online ordering. I entered the actual address of this Cottage Inn Pizza. Nope, it does not exist within ten miles of itself. I entered a few other addresses. Nope, none of them exist. When you finally get back to the find location function, it asks the same thing, and it tells me that everyone location has online ordering. but they don't. They have great online offers, that you can't take advantage of. I assume because they know how rotten their site is, they actually post a technical support number on their home page!!! But when you call, no one answers. It's difficult to summarize how stupid they apparently are and how frustrating dealing with them is. For the experience alone, Pizza Hut is preferable.

I've been to a lot of different locations and had good experience but this location sucks, I ordered the chicken artichoke deep dish and let me tell you it was dried out and tasted like card board . It had no flavor. Need less to say I'm done with this place
