After having a terrible experience here, I decided to go back. I am a big Jersey Mike's fan from a long time ago (in Jersey), and hated to see it end this way. I have to give these guys credit for trying to make up for a bad experience. While I still don't think the quality measures up to the east coast locations, it's still better than your typical Subway or JJ. So give it a shot...

Exceeded even my mildest expectations ! Super Friendly staff . Ordered the Regular Italian , which I split with my dad loved the generous fresh cut meats / cheeses & the wonderful dousing of vinegar & oil 1 side note :: parking in this already busy strip plaza is a burden ....

Infinitely better from my last review. Staff is more consistent with creating a balanced sub. I've been here a few times since and can confirm that. No more days when my roast beef is only a slim 4 slices, and overwhelmed with bread. Yay! :) I prefer their wheat bread for the nuttier taste, and bonus points that it is healthier! Still think going the giant size is your best bet because your dollar will stretch further. :)

This is an updated review for the 23 mile location. Went in tonight to get a couple subs. looking over the menu we choose two different subs that are the same price. There 3 sizes to choose from. Mini, reg, and giant. A giant is basically two regulars. Total Price of two regulars is .50 cents more than getting one giant. I asked if I can get a giant, make it half X and half Y. He wasn't sure and needed to ask mgr. he came back and said sorry mgr said no. Since we didn't have time to go elsewhere we went ahead and got our two subs. This was our last visit at this location. Hope the owner doesn't spend the extra .50 cents of our sale all in one place.

I have been wanting to try this place but the speeded up the probability of me going when my gf got a coupon in the mail. So we gave it a try. The staff is kinda qwirky. They don't clean the slicer between meats which isn't that cross contamination? The meat they give you is generous. The bread is good. The guy put way to much oil and vinegar sauce on it. All and all not the worst sub and place to eat but the service was slow and the girl who rang us up took about 4 min for 2 sandwiches 1 pop and 1 chips. Would I go back? Sure. Is it going to me my go to spot probably not.

If blind folded I know I could tell the difference, but Jersey Mike's Subs taste a lot like Lenny's Sub Shop to me. I'm not saying that's a bad thing because I like them both. Both shops have fresh baked bread and the deli meats & cheeses are sliced right before your eyes. The difference is the toppings are piled high right in front of you with a a small glass partition like subway. The subs are assembled next to mounds of beautifully sliced tomatoes, shredded lettuce and shaved white onions. I opted to go with the #5 "The Super Sub" wearing vinegar oil with herbs & hot pepper relish. I couldn't imagine how boring one of these subs might taste with out the hot pepper relish, that stuff is the bomb. You may on the other hand wanna be careful how much vinegar & oil they put on your sub. They free pour like Tom Cruise in Cocktails. A combo with Jersey Mike's kettle cooked BBQ chips & a Pepsi ran 9 bucks and some change! I could see myself grabbing another sub from here soon. Did I mention they have a soup well with a hotel pan of crisp bacon chilling next to where they make the subs? So sad I didn't think to add any bacon! Next time Jersey Mikes, next time!

I hated this place! The prices are way to high for what you get, there were 4 of us ordering and all of us commented on how little actual meat was on the sub. We were so disappointed in the meal that we actually took time out of our lives to contact corporate, who didn't even have the decency to respond to our email. NEVER going back!

Subs I love em!!! So when I saw that a new sub place near my home was opening up I was very excited to try it out. So on Saturday about 2pm I headed over to Jersey's, the place was kinda busy but not packed. I ordered their #13 Italian fresh cut meats nice, I watched them make the sandwich also nice. At this point I was thinking this is going to be a great sub, right? Well kinda. Michigan has a lot of very good restaurants and sub shops, some chains some mom and pops. I guess I've been blessed with really great subs to choose from like real Italian subs with meats, capicola, hard salami and fresh rolls, and a testy blend of spices and dressing. The real deal. Like Ventimiglia, Bommarito Bakery, Green Lantern and places like Randazzo. So Jersey's? It's ok, but not up to the great home grown originals throughout the Detroit area.

I had a friend bring me a chicken ceasar wrap from this place and it was so-so. It was very wet with dressing and soggy. Tasted ok, but I wouldn't order it again. I'll have to try a sub next time.

I absolutely love this place. YES, the oil can be a little heavy, but just ask them to go easy on the oil. The staff is super friendly, the bread is always fresh, the meat portions are generous, and really, considering a giant stuffs my hubby and I up for the day, $14 isn't really that bad. I'd take it over Subway any day. If the price bugs you, use your shore card and save up points and get free subs! I don't see Tubby's, Subway, Ventimiglia's, etc. doing any type of reward program, are they? Yes, Ventimiglia's subs rock, but I'm not driving 10 miles out of my way for a great sub when I can get one at Jersey Mike's. The ones in Jersey and other locations may be better, as a few people have stated, but seeing as how I haven't had one anywhere else, I don't know any better and am completely happy with my Shelby Twp. Jersey Mike's, TYVM!

I love this place. The staff is always super friendly and there are a ton of choices. Bread is always a make or break it for me in a sub and this bread is spot on. Soft on the inside with a firm but not chewy crust. The meats are all sliced to order, I usually get the cheese steak and love it every time. The only reason for not getting 5 stars is the price, it's a bit high but I still gladly pay it just not as often as I would if it was a bit cheaper. Jersey Mikes is a must try!

We'd been waiting to try this place and it definitely exceeded our expectation. The freshness and the taste of this jersey style sub are incomparable. I like that they slice the meat and cheese in front of you. The staff are very friendly. My two boys are loving it and this will be their new place to hangout.

Yeah I would agree with some others, first off, the staff was great both times I have been there, fun, attentive and quick to get you your food. Now the food part, average sub. maybe a step above Subway, nothing special to drive out of my way for.
