Best Pizza I've had in quite awhile. Sweet dough with seseme seeds is incredible! Try the Deluxe!

Great atmosphere, food and drinks. Come Friday afternoons for the dollar drafts. Great food too - try the homemade jerkey, lobster bisque, buffalo burger and lake perch sandwich.

A great neighborhood "pub", lots of atmosphere, great bar food, and the owners/waitresses care about their customers!! They have the best Perch of anywhere I've ever had perch. I also enjoy their burgers, hot wings, perch sandwich, their deluxe pizza and their wet burrito!! Need I say more?? Their draft beer selection is a little weak for my taste, but they have great prices. Good selection of bottled beer. Staff is excellent and some, like Laurie and Mark, are just amazing.!.

Well I had been here before about 8 or 9 years ago and remember that I like this place. I was all excited when I saw how crowded it was so the food must be good still. Wrong! I got a bland hamburger ( tasted like it was steamed) they charged .25 for lettuce even though the menu said tomato onion lettuce no extra charge. She asked if I wanted cheese on my burger I told her no they charge for Cheese. The fries were greasy and soggy and barely warm. The hamburger was barely warm and the bun just was crumbly like it's been picked up at a food shelter. My mom got the fried shrimp and they were on the verge of being burnt. NEVER will I go there again. I'm not sure why they were so many people there but since it's on the boonies they must not know what good food taste like! Do yourself a favor drive a little ways and going to Midland and get some real food!

We were visiting from out of town and ate here. My sister raves about this place, but I was very disappointed. The nachos were just OK. They got my wife's order all wrong. I have to question the cleanliness of the place because our drink cups were all stained -- they turned our water brown. Check out the picture I posted, and you'll see how gross they were.

Great menu. Nachos are the best. Many like the pizza but I find the sauce too sweet. The wings are huge and done really well. Good drink selection too.

Just got back from this podunk piece of crap in Sanford. ...we've been excited to try this place out in neighboring Sanford for a number of weeks ever since finding out that they had 99 cent tacos on Tuesday. We arrived and there were A LOT of cars at this place. Good sign. We walk inside and noticed how big this place actually was. It can hold A LOT of people. Lots of TVs and random beer memorabilia to give the place a complete bar feeling. The atmosphere...great. After the manager seated us and gave his spiel about how we can find him if anything was wrong - he introduced us to our waitress. After an awkward exchange, we told her we wanted the 99 cent tacos. First strike, they were out of hard shell. All they had were soft shell and...fried. And after a going-nowhere explanation about what fried taco shells were "you know, taco shells, but fried", we placed our order. I said "you have beef and chicken tacos, right?", and she nodded her head yes. So I got one of each (soft shell chicken, fried shell chicken, soft shell beef, and fried shell beef)...my other half got all chicken (two of each shell). After a couple extra minutes, our tacos arrived on paper plates (that's fine) and we headed to the build-a-taco bar to add cheese and salsa. The tacos were good, pretty damn good...especially for being 99 cents...or so we thought. Our bill came shortly after and it was for $12+. Last time I checked, we ordered 8 99-cent tacos. Well, according to the bill, which was confusing how she charged us, we believe that the chicken tacos are apparently TWO DOLLARS. This fact was never mentioned anywhere on their website, menu, or in person...especially when asked "you have beef and chicken tacos, right". This is a long rant for being overcharged a couple of dollars - but after spending $12 - we realized we could have gotten a lot more quality food at Q'doba for that price. This just proves to ask every and any question necessary before ordering. --- Well, we returned to the Sanford Lake Bar and Grill with the promise of our meal being 'comped'. It was...partially. We arrive to the SLB&G and it takes a few minutes for anyone to notice that we are even at the door. Finally, someone noticed us and took us to a seat. This waitress immediately recognized us somehow and said that we were the ones that were due for some free tacos due to last week's debacle. Off to a good start, we are recognized early instead of needing to awkwardly bring it up ourselves. This waitress takes our drink order (two waters) and goes on her way. A few minutes later, a second waitress gives us the same exact spiel about us being the ones who "word on the street, are owed some tacos". As she's about to get our drink order...the first waitress came up and they argued about who was going to be our server since one waitress took the other's section because she thought she was too busy (ignore the multitude of pronouns, it all doesn't matter). Once we got our drinks, the waitress asked how many tacos we were owed. We said eight because that's how many we got last week. My other half got all chicken tacos (two fried, two soft shell) and I got 2 chicken and 2 beef, all fried. After the order was placed, the manager who promised us the free meal comes to the table to greet us. He immediately asked us how many tacos it would take to be square. We said eight because that's what we had last week. After some muttering, he said, "how about 4?". We strangely obliged not knowing why he even asked us how many it would take for us to be happy. After a longer than last time wait, we got our tacos. While eating them, we're trying to do the math in our head and started wondering how they were going to do this. The manager comes back to our table with two confusing receipts trying to show us how he was going to cut stuff off the order. Apparently, it may the fried shells that the over-charge. Or is it the chicken? Or both? Still very unclear according to the receipt we got. The manager decided to take off all of the lower-costing tacos and still made us pay for three $2 tacos and a strange $1 "fried" charge. So, our meal came out to about $8 -- the amount we should have been paying in the first place according to everything listed on their website, menu, and whole establishment. We go to pay and we're told we can't use our debit card with a bill under $10. So we had to promise to add a tip that came out to $10 or more. Another terrible experience. I didn't even want to go the second time, but we thought this guy would treat us right for screwing us over last time. After $24 wasted and all the gas to get out there - we are definitely never going back. Grade: F-

Excellent food and very friendly service. Everything that I have had has been very good. Excellent Walleye, as well as great Tuesday Tacos on Tuesday at a great price.
