Stopped in yesterday for lunch and to do a little work. Cute little downtown area and the cafe has a lot of character. A lot of the staff knew the locals by name. I ordered a tuna sandwich and maybe I should have ordered something else. It reminded me of the sandwiches in the plastic containers you get from the grocery or the gas station. Before I even received my lunch they completely forgot about it so I had to go up and ask. When I left I was hoping to fill up my drink but they were small talking with the three people in front of me so I knew I would not have enough time. So I left. I would come back again if I was in the area and try something different. I just got iced tea but they have a great selection of specialty drinks I would try. The main lady working I think she might have been the owner/manager and she was really great.

I was in Sunday after an early church service and had the best dirty chai tea latte yet! My husband had a black coffee of the day that he loved and we shared an amazing bagel breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, and sausage. The girls working were very nice and friendly. They brought everything right out to us as we sat in the window seats watching traffic. Great place!

A great little place to take your computer and do a little work or to read a book. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

I would not recommend this cafe to anyone. It took 15-20 minutes to get my drink and the girls working behind the counter were bickering with each other the entire time. One of the girls gave me my drink and asked me to try it to see if I like it. I asked her if it was too hot to try and she said no, not at all; needless to say, I burned my mouth so bad and literally spit the coffee right out, it was so hot!!! Hours later my mouth is still burnt and in so much pain. Terrible service and terrible experience. I will never come back here.

My Favorite Cafe changed ownership and is now called Carrigan Cafe. Although the coffee has been pretty good (tried cappucino, regular, and chai latte), the sandwiches on the new menu leave much to be desired. For the most part, they come out (hot or cold) with too many slippery ingredients and mayo, which makes all of the insides slop around between the very thin bread. I've tried the club (ordered cold, which isn't really a club, but more of a chicken breast with bacon). The bread inexplicably wasn't toasted on this first attempt. Second sandwich was the bonnie and clyde, which was better (since I ordered toasted bread), but again, sandwich insides slopping around. Third, was the ham sandwich, which was sorta the same as the previous one. Fourth, I gave the club (ordered hot this time) another shot, and it turned out pretty disgusting: tough chicken with sloppy melted cheese and mayo, some small bacon strips melded in, a sad looking tomato, and bread much too thin to hold all of that at bay. They're obviously working hard to get this place running again. However, I may stick to the coffee if I return here at all. 2 stars for the coffee and local business. 0 stars for the sandwiches.

A nearly daily stop for our family. My personal favorite drink is a latte, but I switch to iced tea with flavor or cold coffee for warm weather. So good! I usually get an egg salad or grilled cheese sandwich when there for lunch or dinner, always fresh and made to order! Carrigan is a real asset to our small town.

Not sure where the 5 stars could be coming from. This cafe changed hands and is nothing like it was under the previous ownership. All the charm of the previous place is gone. The high quality and presentation of the sandwiches, gone. Abrasive music, coarse service, cluttered feel to the place.

A friendly coffee house and sandwich shop. Loose tea, properly brewed, too. The owner was friendly, and went out of her way to chat with our son. Recommended for a leisurely coffee break, lunch, or a place to study.

I stopped in today for a latte and a sandwich, and I was impressed. The coffee is high quality, and they are using a local roaster. I had a terrific sandwich that was loaded with veggies-exactly the way I wanted it. The sandwich was so big I ended up taking half home. I also had some really tasty biscotti. This seems like a good place, and I will be back!

Great place, great food. We had a party and had Carrigan Cafe cater it. Everything was fantastic and they even served dessert. I recommend this place to everyone.

This is a great little town coffee shop that is a local business and it's owners definitely have a lot of pride in their business! They feature many coffee drink varieties like the honey bear or the debbie that are full of rich flavor and do not just taste like syrup. Jus ttired their iced tea today and tried the Lemon ginger which was delicious! This coffee shop knocks it all out of the park and I would select this over a Starbucks anyday!
