I would go back here any warm and sunny day for the beautiful patio overlooking Lake St. Claire. Even so, it struck me as a pretty weird place, in that it is huge and beautifully decorated, with odds and ends sitting around. On the early evening we visited it was very nearly empty. It looks like a place keeping up a good face while in its death throes. I hope not. We arrived at the tippy end of happy hour, which did, indeed, make us happy, because our apps and first round of drinks were very inexpensive. Our apps were chips and salsa and popcorn shrimp. Both were OK but not great. Three of us had the lobster bisque and there were three thumbs *way* up for it. For entrees, two of us had the crab cake hoagie with fries. It was good bordering on great. One of had the cowboy burger - it was great. And one of us had the Michigan salad - it was OK. I hope this place sticks around. If it does, I'll definitely make a point of visiting next summer.

I came here along with a party of 13 other ladies for a bachelorette party with a reservation and was very unimpressed with the service. We were seated quickly but after that it was slowww table service. It legitimately seemed like our waiters first day on the job. The restaurant only had one waiter serving our table and most of the other tables as well. Nearly 30 minutes had passed before the waiter came back with our drinks. It took so long to order and receive our drinks that we skipped ordering appetizers because we didn't want to keep waiting. It took us two hours to have dinner and we were more than ready to leave after we were done. However the staff was very nice to us. The food and drinks were delicious and priced right. The restaurant and the bathrooms were clean.

No, and NO again! Went here for a family meal and waited 2 hours for food that was bland and lukewarm. Which tells me that our food had been ready long ago and must have just sat around in the kitchen for a while waiting for pick up! I only gave this place a chance be cause I loved the former restaurant (Beach Grill) before they became Tin Fish and thought it would be at least half way decent. They are NO Beach Grill!

My wife and I paid a visit to this restaurant last night. The building itself is nice...it's decorated nicely for the most part. The chairs and tables are left over from the last owners...they are bland, uncomfortable and not very attractive. The booths are very nice, the lighting is nice and most of the other stuff is accomodating. Our service was ok...nothing to write home about. While our waiter did a pretty decent job, our food was slow in coming and some of it was cold upon arrival. The food? We both had fish and chips, which was on sale. The fish itself was pretty decent. It was hot, and meaty....but it was not extremely tasty. Very average and blah. I had mashed potatoes with mine and they were blah and boring....nothing special. For an appetizer I had a crab cake. It was nearly cold....I wouldn't consider it warm. It tasted pretty decent, but it was not amazing by any stretch. All in all, this place is confusing. It looks like it could be upscale, but the service, some of the decor and the food shouts "I'm a Diner"..... I find it sad....this place has a great location and the potential to be something special and it is far from that. I'd be willing to bet this restaurant doesn't last another year.

I remember going to this place years ago but the location is a little distance from my current area on the West side. I was invited here for a Birthday gathering for an old friend. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and is located right off the water which is always a nice touch. We were seated at a table for a group. We started off with appetizers which included coconut shrimp and Cheese Quesadillas. These were a pretty tasty appetizer. The Cheese Quesadillas were especially good. I am not a real fan of Quesadillas usually but I had to have a few of these. I ordered the Fish and chips as the main appetizer. I was swinging between this and the salmon. One of the people at the table got the salmon and it looked rather small. Not sure about the taste. The Fish and chips were good. Not too much batter and just the right touch. The wait staff was pleasant but not as attentive due to the large group. After the dinner we strolled out to the dock and boarded a boat to get the night started. The place also has a club that was pretty lively with the young crowd and good up tempo music. Overall, great experience. I will visit again.

Don't ever ever go here!! Nasty bugs everywhere the manager is tool. It's been the worst experience EVER how are they open

Paula was awesome. I think that's her name. Food was okay. My wife, sister in law, and I came in here for lunch and cocktails today. We were sat outside just liked we asked but unfortunately in the direct sunlight. I asked for an umbrella shortly after we were seated and the blonde hostess said sorry. Then I asked to move to the shade and the hostess said no because there was a party. But then our waitress said yes we could move and seated us over where we wanted to. We were there for about an hour. And no party showed up. That hostess was rude. And Paula was funny and efficient. She got everything with our orders right. I had the Panko breaded tilapia. It was pretty good! My wife and her sister in law both got fish and chips.

The perch was decent, though if you get it fried it seems overcooked, stick with sauteed. That's about all I have to say on the good side. This was the 2nd time I've been here. Both times service has been terrible. Seating goes quickly, though it takes forever for wait staff to come around and then you only see them once every 25 minutes. Even getting water refills takes 15 minutes from when you ask. Half an hour after ordering our main course they come back and tell one of us they ran out of the entree. Obviously they aren't interested in timely serving of the meals. Also, the bartender doesn't seem to understand that when you plug in a new keg you need to bleed off the sediment coming out at first. Instead he just pours it out for you and says if you don't like to send it back and ask for another. I would not recommend going here. I feel bad that my grandpa likes it and tips for the terrible service.

Well I guess when you owe so much on your other location (allegedly) first of who gives someone more money to open a second one. Looks nice but the food, Hunty please you need to revamp your menus and make it happen! The Tin Fish or The dead fish?
(1)Will B.
Horrible. One of the worst $9 burgers I've ever had, and the fries are gross to boot. The fries taste like they've been coated in pancake batter. They're kind of sweet and it's disgusting. The burger is a hard pressed, frozen patty, and it's completely awful. If you happen to go here and order a burger, if the waitress asks how you want it cooked, tell her "it doesn't frickin' matter... It's coming out medium well to well done regardless." Their fish and chips, however, is decent.
(1)Anne H.
We've been here a couple times and they were very slow and unprofessional each time. It seems like they are always understaffed. They can't even keep up with hot rolls. The food is good, and the atmosphere is great, but the restaurant itself is poorly managed.
(1)Jennifer M.
Totally sketchy. Food was mediocre at best. The place lacked management. Our server was non existent. It's a dying restaurant with a lot of "water view" hopefuls keeping it afloat. Decent enough place to grab drinks and sit outside and nothing more. Go somewhere else.
(1)Maria C.
Just had a wonderful lunch at Tin Fish! The service was fantastic, we were 4 we had, oysters, panko baked brie as our apps. which was enough to share. We had The Moscow Mules for drinks, "delicious" for lunch we had; the cod sandwich, quesidillas, & shrimp tacos, & for desserts we shared, the reeses peanutbutter pie & a piece of Keylime pie also yummy! All and all the entire meal was great not a thing to complain about, except how full we were! Go to this place, and try it for yourself! Atmosphere is great as well!
(5)Jon B.
I like the place the staff is good food is good for the price. The outside bar can be fun but to many smokers for me. can not believe they let it happen even encourage smoking guess mgmt. doesn't care about their staff

It was a beautiful Sunday night so I wanted to have dinner by the water. We arrived around 7:15 and were told that nothing was available outside because they didn't have enough servers. The hostess said she would call us when a table inside was available. There was plenty of tables open on the patio but since they didn't have enough servers they couldn't sit people out there. We went outside to wait for our table to be ready (since being outside was the point of even coming here) and the hostess came up to us and told us we had to get up and sit inside because they were going to be seating those open tables on the patio soon. This was really annoying because they never sat the tables. After being seated 30 minutes later INSIDE- the service and food was good. I would suggest more help and new management because this is obviously where it starts. When you have good management you usually have great workers. This place needs help!

I went here last night with my uncle and friend. No host to greet and seat us, so we had to walk in and seat ourselves. Server was very polite and attentive. I am a vegetarian and ordered the Michigan salad. It was decent, but I would have preferred the large size since I was hungry; I was not asked and was brought the smaller size. I also ordered an Atwater Dirty Blonde, usually one of my favs. Unfortunately it arrived without any head and lukewarm. Very disappointing. My uncle and friend ordered a salad and they seemed to be pleased with it; we had to ask for rolls, too. They had no bus service and the wait staff including our server had to bus tables in between table service. Add a few more vegan and/or vegetarian dishes, get the servers some help and perform routine maintenance on the kegs and you will get 2 more stars from me.
(2)Misslady N.
Called in a carry-out order of a bowl of gumbo. When I arrived, the bartender in the bar area informed me that the gumbo is a special and unavailable. As disappointed as I was, I was happy when he offered me a substitute on the house! Now, don't get me wrong, I acknowledge that the young lady who took my order should have informed me, however nothing beats above and beyond customer service. I will definitely be returning to Tin Fish and giving them another chance, simply because of the bartender. Thank you very much!

This place is right on the canal with a large patio/deck, outside bar, restaurant, inside bar, dance floor. Ironically we get there and what I thought was going to be a night of dinner, dance, and casual on the deck -surprise - it was Pirate Palooza sponsored by 94.7. What a show! It was like spring break. The very nice boats were docked and filled with speakers the size of my wife and people. Talk about loud! Entertaining to say the least. Now for the service and food - our server Angie or Angela was excellent, prompt with drinks and food. Ordered crab cakes and shrimp cocktail for an appetizer which were good tasting but cakes were little over cooked. Next course was soup lobster bisque and mushroom bisque which were both very nice. Next was dinner breaded Tilapia, which was plentiful but over cooked, and salmon, which 3/4 was great but 1/4 was under cook raw. I'd go back-but would send food back if I get those same results.

I really really wanted to like this place a lot. The home of the former girl which last couple years it got pretty stale. We've been here four or five times since it opened and every time things have gotten a little worse. The good: The venue itself is pretty cool. The inside is nice and there's a lot of room. The drinks are good, Especially when the guy bartender makes them. Good happy hour prices. The not so good: The food is just not good. I was your wants for dinner and place for drinks and appetizers. My friend ordered the lobster dinner and despite being quite expensive she said it was pretty terrible. I ordered a caprese pizza twice, once it was really good , once was bad. Once I ordered a Just a regular pizza and it was pretty much inedible. Dry in some parts chewy in the middle and hard on the edges. I should've just made the frozen Trader Joe pizza I had in my freezer before coming here. Service is somewhat iffy, At the bar, I was with a friend we both had our own seperate tabs. When we were cashing out, the server just split the total both of our tabs down the middle and charged our cards accordingly. Cost me about $10 extra which was not a big deal but still annoying. Crowd is somewhat rough. More of a "people watching "kind of place rather than a place to socialize. For the prices we wished we had just gone to The Hill in Grosse Pointe, instead. Had drinks there after dinner and both the people and service were much better. And the prices for food are comparable, yet the food quality is many levels above the tin Fish. Better social crowd as well. I would reserve the tin fish for during the week, happy hours only and Possibly Saturday afternoon drinks on the patio.

DY-NO-MITE! Love this joint. Traveled far and wide to see their piano player, Will Bennett. Total game changer.

Friday after working in St. Clair Shores, I wanted to get some calamari and a cocktail. My husband picked me up and I said, "It's either Fishbones or check out Tin Fish." We decided to try Tin Fish. We ordered the calamari and two dirty martinis. The calamari was greasy and undercooked and, even worse, the sauce that came with it was full of raw chunks of garlic. TOO much harsh garlic taste. We couldn't eat it. We ordered another round of martinis (4 total between the two of us and smaller than the usual) and the bill came to $60! We were charged extra for the blue cheese olives. The bill referenced our location in the restaurant as a "Profit Center." Yep, that says it all about what their focus is. We will not be returning.

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. It's so sad that such a beautiful and thriving location is home to such a horrific restaurant. This place could have all the potential in the world but falls VERY short. Food: The food is mediocre. Nothing special AT ALL. It just was whatever. Price: Wayyyy over priced for what you get. I started off with a "Side" Caesar salad that was $7 dollars and it was literally one leaf of romaine lettuce with croutons that they got out of a bag. Then, I shared a $15 dollar calamari appetizer with my friend. From the description of "flash fried fresh, calamari served with a homemade amogio sauce" I was expecting that. Well I was wrong. The calamari had freezer burn and was rubbery and soggy. The sauce they claimed to be "homemade" was probably made a week ago at a factory then shipped to the restaurant and frozen until needed. I was not impressed. If you have a taste for good ingredients and quality food, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
(1)Steven H.
went there for my grandpa birthday. Food was not all that bad, but portion size were terrible. Whitefish and steak was only half of a piece. If you plan on paying alot of money for very little food, you will love this place.
(1)Mimi C.
Went there for my Bday me and a group of friends.Nice atmosphere drinks were right , food was good.It gets turned up after certain time on one side is a full bar nightclub. They have a nice deck with a nice view.Live band depending on your flavor can't wait to go again!

Back when it was the Beach Grille, it wasn't bad. But I've been gone from MI for the last 7 years, only the return to it with a new name and menu. Just came back from it today with the wife (Thursday afternoon 2:30) and I got to say, this place broke my heart a bit. Now hear me out... The Deck/Local: We sat by the deck, overlooking the canal. Still beautiful, still comfy, and still attractive. I can only imagine that when this place is bumpin with music and people, it can be quite fun and attractive. I'm sure the scenario and environment caters well to help bring a breezy, cool, and fun place. All in all, I've always believed that this place was an atmosphere of fun. One doesn't have to be a rich-snob to come here. This will always be important to me and the wife. Grade: A-/B+ for the atmosphere/environment/local. FYI: I didn't go to the club/bar (AQUA I believe). Service: My waitress, as sad as it is to say, wasn't great. I'm thinking to myself, "if this place is under a new name, with a new menu and new management, shouldn't the service be working hard to excel in kicking-a** as it's trying to reshape the image?" I had already heard of Beach Grille suffering from EVERYTHING but with this new name and new food/menu, one can only hope for greener pastures right? Wrong! The waitress who came to serve my wife and I only came to us 4x: The first time was to take our order, second time was to give us our drinks, third time was to give us our food, and fourth (last) was to give us our bill. When our drinks were asked to be refilled, it was a different waitress that served us. Our waitress never came back to ask us how we're doing or if did we want refills (I had a beer on tap, it definitely needed a refill). Now, I can excuse bad service if the place would've been jammed pack, making it busy. But this Thursday afternoon only had 4 people out in the deck. I kept looking over my shoulder to see if she would've saw me. How appalling and depressing was it knowing that she didn't. All in all I kept thinking: "COME ON! This is St.Clair Shores, MI! We gotta kick-a** here at Tin Fin. This place needs to be awesome!" Unfortunately not the service. Grade: D-/F for the Service The wife and I started out with some appetizers. We ordered the Oysters and the calamari. With 4 Oysters (2 bucks each I believe), they were really small. But what caught me off guard were the small pieces of oyster-shell that I ended up in my mouth as I shucked the oysters. Twice did I have to spit out the rocky shell from my mouth. :( Oysters needs to be cleaned more thoroughly than this. And as for the calamari, thank goodness it was well done. They were cooked perfectly, breaded nicely, and beautiful looking as it was served. I ordered the Tin Fin Burger and I got to say, it wasn't the greatest burger, nor was it the worst of burgers. It was doable. I ordered it medium and it was came cooked as ordered. I still would've liked it if my waitress would've asked me how my burger was cooked. We can never know how a burger is cooked to order. But by grace, my burger was cooked perfectly. NOW, lo-and-behold, I was happy when I tasted them french fries! The fries were MOST excellent! If I go back (and I plan to) then you can expect me to order those fries again. I didn't want to spoil them by adding ketchup. I ate them with joy, one by one. :) ... The wife ordered the Tuna dish (wasn't too sure what it was called). The dish had the tuna cooked as it sat on top of green seaweed and sweet ginger. It was nicely decorated with wasabi and sweet brown sauce. The meal tasted OK. She didn't mind it, but she definitely wasn't jumping for joy. The tuna was cooked medium, making it juicy and moist. Yet, she regrets not ordering the pasta. We both did get our hunger satisfied. Yet if only the oysters could've been taken cared of better. Grade: C+ for the appetizer/meal. (I should grade this lower but I was too hungry.) Pricing of the food. Because the wife and I made it to happy hour, we weren't complaining about the pricing of the drinks. But in all honesty, pricing needs to be readjusted. I can't bring my friends here if they don't have a job. Tin Fin needs to be reminded that our economy isn't helping MI residence. Then again if the goal is to attract only middle-class MI residence, then it'll do. C-/D+ for Pricing But just because it scored low, doesn't mean it'll stop me from going again. My prayer is that the next time I go, things will look a little brighter. Let's get Gordon Ramsey up in here!

Just stopped in for a drink, Looks like a fun place, the view was nice and the bartender was friendly. If in the area I will be back.

Will have to check place out again. They finally updated website to reflect this location but never came on yelp to confirm what problems were

When it was the Beach Grill they had the best Prime Rib Chili and Sea Food Chowder in Detroit. They are gone and so is my business. The food is now fair at best. Recommended they contact the old owner and learn from him... I wont be back.
(1)Lynsey N.
To start off, we ordered bloody Mary's. not only were they skimpy on the actual drink, there was barely any alcohol in them. Second, it took the waitress 20 minutes to return after she dropped off our drinks and didn't even offer to bring us waters. I ordered calamari which was said to be pretty good, well- that was a lie. It was more like a saugy-battered mess. The Tin- side caesar was literally one leaf of lettuce. We ended up feeding the bread basket to the ducks. We drove a long way to try this restaurant and are very disappointed. The only reason I even gave it one star was because of the scenery. I wouldn't come back here even if it was free.
(1)Tee P.
I went there yesterday and I was impressed. We were seated out on the deck immediately, the service was good and so was our food and drinks. Our waiter Michael was very friendly and tentative, he kept our orders coming out quickly. I had read a few negative review on here about tin fish but still chose to go and check it out myself. I'm glad we did, my boyfriend really enjoyed his birthday.
(4)Sondra M.
Went here last night for my boyfriend's birthday dinner.. I had there Fish and Chips and the bf had Cesar Chicken Salad and his parents ordered the perch and salmon. The scenery was amazing, and the main entrees were delicious.. I love there dinner rolls. However although everything was good I ordered 6 Raw Oysters. I love Oysters and eat them all the time the 1st to Oysters were good but when I shot the 2nd one I instantly smelled and tasted the worst smelling Oyster ever. I'm pregnant and I shouldn't of been eating them anyways but the crappy part is that Oyster was bad and a when smelling the others there were some good ones and a couple bad ones none the less we complained cuz eating bad shellfish is very bad and definitely shouldn't have been served to begin with. Although the manager apologized and took it off our bill, I still wasn't really to happy because the manager was trying to convince me that some Oyster smell funny like that which is a bunch of BS because oysters should NEVER smell foul and believe me it was bad enough were the smell was stuck on my hands. It's been a little less in 24 hrs and haven't been sick yet but I only ate two if I get food poisoning I definitely will report it. $2.25 and Oyster and I get bad ones... Ugh be careful about ordering them from here..
(2)K T.
Service as good. I thought food was not. Ordered calamari and plate looked like fried crumbs. Not a single decent piece of calamari in entire appetizer. I expected better at a fish restaurant.
(2)Bob M.
This is a re-purpose of a long time staple restaurant/bar in the area. It's in a Marina on Lake St. Clair. Outdoor bars and deck over the water provide a gorgeous view of the Marina

Bouncer grabbed my arm and twisted it after getting off my friends yacht i went to the bar and came right back on the boat and he told me I cant come back on the boat I didnt have an orange wristband I had blue and twisted my arm since i walked by and said i just got off the boat.. he said he knows I got off the boat but it doesnt matter. Manager pretty much laughed in my face didnt appoligize and denied everything. I didnt know its ok for bouncers to put their hands on girls and twist their arms!! Unbelievable.. if you're the owner or a real manager I would love to speak to you contact me.

Worst service I've had since I can't remember when. Which is unfortunate since it's a beautiful establishment and there is some decent menu items. But the service though.... drinks were slow and hard to come by. Each time we waited 20 minutes and when waitress showed up, she was always missing atleast one persons drink (pathetic considering it was only a table of 4). Best part: She added an extra drink on our bill that she allegedly "spilled" which is how it got "accidentally " added on. When we asked her to adjust the bill, waited another standard 20 min then she handed us our credit card slips apologizing for the delay, it took awhile to adjust our bill because she "couldn't find the manager " Yada yada. Our credit card slips were not adjusted after the long wait and the manner in which she tried to distract us while we were checking our slips was entirely sketchy. She probably ran the slips before the bill was adjusted and pocketed the difference. Total scam! If this place goes out of business it's because they employ theiving staff! Check your bill carefully if you dare go here. They probably earn a tidy sum off of unsuspecting patrons.

Stopped in there with GF last weekend just to check it. We had already eaten so I cannot review the cuisine at this time. First, what a beautiful place, I found it to be world-class as far as décor is concerned. Second, they had a really good DJ and a moderate number of ppl dancing. Third, our drinks were very well poured and competitively priced. I will return to check out the food some other time. I would have given another star, but the men's room looked like it had not been tended to all night, could probably use an attendant. Overall we were impressed.
(3)Erica Y.
Worst experience ever! Will never be going back. They told us 15 mins for an outside seat so after 25 mins we decided to eat inside. Once inside we placed our order and waited over an hour for our food. Waitress never put our order in. She didn't even ask the kitchen once about our order until we complained!
(1)Luc J.
After reading other reviews I had slight trepidation to trying this restaurant, but I must say I was slightly impressed. The service was acceptable, the atmosphere was nice, and the food was above average. Yes, the prices are high but I felt that they were justified. I would go here again and try something else. Plus, their tiramisu was homemade and delicious.

I was so excited to get some dinner and drinks with my friends yesterday at Beach Grill, I didn't realize that Tin Fish bought it out. I ordered a Sangria which was finished in 5 sips because it was so small. My friends ordered Bloody Mary's which came in plastic cups and also very small. I ordered the lemon fish with a side order of rice pilaf. The fish was good but the rice pilaf was just rice, I had to add so much salt to have any flavor. The service was not very good, there were no waters brought to us and no bread basket until we had to ask. The bread was so hard we ended up feeding them to the ducks. I was SO disappointed and I don't say this often. My bill came to so much and I honestly felt like I shouldn't have paid at all. My favorite food is Calamari and the calamari there (that was recommended) tasted like soggy batter. I never complain about any restaurant but this one I just had to. Such a long ride to get there and it was horrible. Next door at Mikes I heard was much better! Only things that were good was that it's right off the water, but it's a bay so the view isn't very good also. The DJ was also good. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY COMING HERE.

I just landed coming from Houston sunday afternoon n stop in for lunch. I'm a big fan of tin fish so we decided to check this new location out. The venue was beautiful the decor was beautiful, but the staff ALL LOOK so moody and didn't want to be there. we sat outside on the patio and at the same time an older couple was being seated by the host. Our waitress greeted us and got us our drinks right away. and I order a beer and it came in a cheap plastic cups. wow 8/!!!! ok, that's ok, so we went ahead and order, my wife had the fish taco and I had the white fish with veggie. we got our food soon after and my wife fish taco was so dry and taste like left over, and my veggies was sooo buttery that it wasn't edible. and my white fish look so nasty and wasn't cook properly. and the taste of the fish was horrible is like that fish was a week old and was left for days to be defrost and thrown back into the freezer until it was sold. and I was the dumb one to order it. I LOVE TIN FISH BUT THIS ONE SUCKS. VERY DISAPPOINTIN, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, POOR FOOD QUALITY . and the worst part of it all was the older couple that got seated the same time as us still didn't get greeted and they just walk out. Horrible horrible customer service and quality. but I always give 2sec chances so maybe ill try dinner there one day. I sure do hope this feedback gets to the owner or manager. because I love tin fish and I hate to see this one go out of business.

Well...this place has a lot of bad reviews and barely any mention of the food. I'm sorry I didn't take any pictures because I did not want to weird out my MIL. But here goes anyways...the decor is lovely. The service was attentive and friendly and the food was good. Rather good. Mom in law had fish and chips which looked good and she enjoyed. Husband had ribs which looked good and he enjoyed. I only tasted his BBQ sauce, but I really liked it. And I had a special which was either pecan or walnut crusted (sorry I don't remember!) trout. It came with two pretty large pieces of fish but the only side was steamed grape tomatoes and broccoli, but that was also good. You could tell it was fresh and not frozen. Frozen veggies at restaurants is a huge pet peeve of mine. So everything was very tasty. But...(you knew there had to be a but) it was overpriced for what you got. If they just had added a generous salad or cup of soup with the meal, and a veggie plus a starch, I might have even given it four stars. I guess I'm one of those crass Americans who expects every meal out to be huge. Nevertheless, that is what I expect for the prices being charged. What is fish and chips without cole slaw? They don't even have any. Also, it was a very slow night because being on the water I imagine its more of a nice weather place and it was rainy. But sitting indoors with a huge glass all next to you was still a very nice view. It appeared that you'd have a nice view wherever you sat. Would I go again? I would. I would like to go on a busy night to see if this place deserves all the bad reviews it has gotten. If so I will let you know. Otherwise I think it's gotten an unreasonably bad rap. That does not mean there is not room for improvement but it has a lot of potential.
