Someone help me out here. The food we had was microwaved, old, and without flavour. Service was great and the staff friendly, but not even mediocre Greek food. Skip.

Best hidden gem for Greek food. I still rave about this place for their greek potatoes and spanikopita! It's unassuming, but walk through the bar and get over to the restaurant seating area and don't judge. I love great finds like this that are NOT corporate or franchise but definitely unique. Love love love this secret spot and I recommend it!

My boss told me about this restaurant, so my husband and I thought we'd try it. We were so impressed we went back 4 days later!! It was incredible!!! The lamb shank was falling off the bone and everything else was spectacular! It is our new favorite place.

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives should feature this dive. It isn't about the looks and just like your mother said, don't judge a book by its cover. The focus is food and they have plenty of delicious and affordable options. Yuro with the house cucumber dill yogurt sauce is my go to when nothing else will hit the spot. Add the Grecian potatoes and call it a night!

This is a nice local/family place, probably the only Greek restaurant in Saginaw . It is just a little shabby, with quirky decor. The local community chorus apparently brings their headliners here; personalized autographed photos of Robert Goulet and Doc Severinson decorate the wall together with snapshots of family and customers. If you can't open the door, the place may not be closed; it may just be locked due to the hostess working by herself at the bar and not wanting people to wander into the restaurant without her knowing. Try the door into the bar half of the building. The service was very friendly and pretty quick, but the food, while it featured some interesting touches, was lackluster. They're known for their gyros, which I didn't try. A vegetarian gyro is available. The menu includes some standard American items in addition to the Greek standards, and a quirkily diverse wine list - retsina, sweet Greek muscat, Liebraumilch and a couple of standard European-type wines. I got the tiropita, a sweet muscat aperitif, the saganaki, a piece of baklava and a drink for $22, which is exceptionally reasonable. The saganaki is nicely presented but bland. Freshly-squeezed lemon gives some nice zing to the surface, and it was nicely crusty. The tiropita was sort of tough, requiring a knife to cut (possibly microwaved) but with sort of slimy edges. The custard filling was almost sweet, with perhaps a touch of cinnamon. I'm not sure if it was underdone egg or overmoistened filo. The tiropita came with an unremarkable iceberg/mushy tomato baby salad, very heavy on the dressing, and "Grecian potatoes": two quarter potatoes with great texture in olive oil. I was expecting lemon or oregano, but didn't taste either. The baklava was a very small piece and included cloves, which struck me as unusual but nice. It was a little drier than I've seen elsewhere and I think the syrup wasn't honey.

The Wednesday goulash is fantastic! Its not a particularly busy place, but it has its regulars and that means it has great food. The service is very fast and friendly all the food has always been good.

Best Greek food in the Tri-Cities! Whenever in town we are always sure to dine her at least once, if not more. The Grecian potatoes and gyro's are delicious!

One of the only places in Saginaw that I actually crave. I've been coming here steadily since I discovered it 7 or 8 years ago. To begin - The Grecian potatoes that come with almost everything are great. They are always tender and perfectly roasted. I have always gotten the gyro, and I have never been disappointed. I also often times order a side of 2 single dolmades, which are delicious with just a little bitterness from the grape leaf. A dolmade meal is available also though. Jake always gets the Grecian chicken- which is an entire half of a chicken with 2 sides and a salad all for some like $11.99!! ALL of the food here is homemade and incredibly inexpensive. I have introduced so many people to this little place and all have loved it. The decor is a little (a lot) dated, and that's the only thing I can fault them for. Great food, awesome staff, and not to mention REALLY CHEAP beer.... This place won my heart!

This is the only place I've known in Saginaw with Gyro's and Greek food. The gyro's are excellent! If you are the type that can handle a double cheeseburger with ease, I would suggest you order two gyro's. Their gyro's are smaller in comparison to the ones I am used to in Chicago. Gyro's are served with your choice of steak fries, Grecian potato's or salad. Grecian potatoes and steak fries do a great job complimenting the sandwich. I've been here on many trips to Saginaw. Its wild that no matter how many years have passed, (per my cousin that grew up in Saginaw) the price of beer has NEVER significantly gone up. He told me when he started out at Zorba's domestic drafts were 85 cents! I dunno, he's only a few years older than I. We stopped in for a beer and gyro's last weekend, three guys + one round of beers / two drafts and a Miller High Life bottle = $4.75 !!! I can't believe that. You can't find this pricing in Chicago. Zorba's has got a restaurant area and an attached bar. Two different rooms. The restaurant is great for families, kids, parties etc. The bar is a little dark, good for smaller groups. If you stop in, make sure to take a look at the mirror above the bar. A lovely topless lady sits looking into the clouds. No clue, what that has to do with Zorba's, its been there forever. Don't let the outside appearance fool you into thinking its a shabby place. Its got alot of heart.

I have been to Zorba's on many occasions and I appreciate their low priced menu and quality food. It's not a fancy restaurant, but more casual. A place to go for lunch or a casual dinner. Not stuffy, but comfortable and relaxed. Their chicken gyro's are amazing! Like I said it's all reasonably priced and a relaxed atmosphere. I'd recommend it to anyone!

I absolutely love zorba's!!! This is one of my favorite arteries in all of Saginaw! The flaming sausage and cheese are awesome!

Excellent gyro with lamb, very tender. Grecian potatoes tasty but a tad oversalted. The spanakopita, however, was abominable - tasted like they dumped a can of spinach between some overbaked filo dough; couldn't even find any feta cheese in there! My "3" rating is therefore a bit generous. Pleasant waitress. Decor is outdated, but who cares - it's a small family restaurant and probably not a lot of money to upgrade.

This place is a hidden treasure. The place itself is a dive and is tucked away in the city in maybe not the best location. Oh well, not an issue. Food was excellent and served super fresh (I could still hear the fries sizzle) with low prices (I really couldn't believe that I ate with another person, had lunch, an appetizer, and two rounds of beers for approximately $20). Beer selection is typical dive, no microbrews here but I won't slight Labatt Blue, it's still a good accompaniment to a gyro. Service was quick and attentive. Cheap and cheerful, I will definitely be back here.

Although the bar is a bit smokey and the waiting staff a bit stiff, the food is great! this hole in the wall restaraunt is perfect for your greek craving. The Grecian potatoes, gyros, and dolmades are as tasty as you could imagine!
