The clam chowder is great, a definite must. I really also enjoy their grilled whitefish. This isn't a seafood restaurant, but it just so happens that they are able to do a great job with their seafood selection. I also love their lobster roll. It comes with fries that are thick cut and delicious. This bar is known more for their burgers, pizza, nachos and steaks. I have had pizza and nachos too and enjoyed both. I wasn't blown away, but it was very good. Timbers also offers outrageously huge draft beers for outrageously low prices! Their happy hour has both drink and appetizer specials. The service has always been good and the building is pretty inside and very open. The only reason I don't frequent more is because of the awkward clientele. I don't ever know if they are trying to be sports bar, a bar and grill or a family restaurant. There are usually a ton of families. I just prefer to drink alcohol and have a good meal without screaming kids or dudebros high-fiving about the touchdown just made..... Go for the food, but don't expect a great atmosphere.

For whatever unknown reason our reservation for a party of 10 people was lost at a different restaurant so the day before Easter we had to find a different place to eat at. Great luck prevailed in our search to find a different place to eat at. Timbers allowed us to make reservations for us which is something they normally don't do. The staff was very accommodating and very nice. My meal was well prepared and quite tasty, everyone really enjoyed their meals too. There is a large selection of craft beers on tap, the Widow Maker Stout is fantastic.

Pizza was very good, crust was delicious. Reuben was outstanding . French fries were tasty.

Just ate a burger from there and I am not very happy, trying to get the bad taste out of my mouth. The burger was charred to a crisp and dry, the lettuce was old and so was the red onions. The bun was bland and boring. For $10 this is unacceptable. My brother got a Philly cheesesteak also that was better until he hit a big piece of gristle and was unable/did not want to continue eating it. I wish I could say I was surprised by this but I was not. I am pissed to be honest.

Timber's is a great place to eat anytime of the week. Very affordable with large portions and great selection! My personal favorite is the southwest burger (12 ounce burger with pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, etc.). If you're a Covenant Healthcare employee, you get a 10% discount on everything except for alcohol. Doesn't matter. Beer's are cheap. Flat screen's line the walls of this restaurant with a "Paul Bunyan"-like theme. If there's a game on, at least 3 or 4 televisions are tuned into it. Service is fast. Waiters and waitresses are polite and most are easy on the eyes. Never had one bad meal here. Of course, I always get the same thing. Other favorites include the pizza (large for the price of a medium) and the 16 ounce steak.

Went here the other day in between moving trips. My friend Dustin used to work here and wanted to go. He got the sampler because he kept bragging how HUGE it was. When it came out, he looked down at it with an almost sad and disappointed look and said, "It's...A lot smaller than it used to be..." You could almost hear the sad face after the sentence. I had the build your own burger. I felt a little feisty and decided to try putting egg on it. It was actually pretty good. Dustin's sandwich was giant! I don't know how he fit that thing into his mouth. Then my friend Lisa had a salad, also a huge portion. Don't forget to get the tall beer when you go. It was $4 for a Bud Lite. Made moving more fun.

We have eaten here about 20 times. Service is always top notch and they never let your drinks go empty. I have had steak, pizza, sandwiches, and the portions are always large. In some cases too large. My family ordered the massive pizza special and it was enough food for dinner and a few days of lunches. Prices seem very reasonable. The only thing we did get that we weren't super happy with was the nachos that were on special one night. My wife said she wouldn't order them again, it was too bland for her. but She just likes meat and cheese, so maybe if you got them loaded it would add to this. We like this place.

I love Timbers. They have the best clam chowder ever along with amazing steaks. I hear the nachos and pizza is pretty good, never had them cause I usually go with steak. It can be a little loud in there at times. The decor is rustic, log and brick like interior with a few deer heads and tvs on the wall. Service is also very good. I highly recommend this place.

Timbers is a great place to dine and grab a few drinks. It's also a really good place to get a group of people together for special occasions. The food is very good and the portion sizes are huge! The prices are also very reasonable. They usually have a nice selection of beer on tap and after 9PM on Friday and Saturday (as of this review) the beer is half off! The bar crowd is normally young college age people, you can get really great appetizers all night, and it is a safe place to hangout!

Today's visit is getting 3 stars when I really want to give it just 2. It gets an extra one due to me having pretty good experiences here in the past. Today's visit at most was ok. We ordered the chips and Queso dip. The chips were bland, way over salted. The cheese sauce tasted straight out of a can. I'm sure most places are like this. But there was no denying, this cheese for sure came out of a can. And maybe the can was opened last week. Just wasn't very good. We then picked out a large pizza with pepperoni and bacon. Again, not impressed. Pizza from here in the past was fantastic. Not today. Bacon tasted like it was leftover from 3 days ago and thrown on top of our pizza so they wouldn't have to throw it away at the end of the night. The waitress was not bad. We did have the chips and cheese plate that sat at our table the whole dining experience. Would have been nice to get it out of the way since we all had a drink, the pizza on our table and 3 plates. It would have been nice to have a less crowded table. But she was ok. I hope it's not like this the next time we return. If it is, we may not return after that.

Ordered mozzarella stick appetizer and had to send them back twice due to them being ice cold and hard in middle. Not melted whatsoever. Finally decided to switch to spinach dip which was really lacking in seasoning and flavor. We just gave up and ate it anyway instead of sending it back. The French fries were luke warm at best and REALLY soggy! Wish I could post a pic of these sad limp things. It seems like they were left over from a doggy bag another customer left behind earlier in the day and they just threw them on my plate. That's how bad they were. Again decided to suck it up and just eat our meal. The burger was good but no better than any other pub food I've ever had. Gyro was also fine. Which is why we are giving 2 stars instead of 0. We were told by the waitress that the manager would be over to talk to us which I did not request or find necessary but he never came over. It seems like if she said he would he should have at the very least to make it seem like they care. There is really no need to come back here. There are dozens of restaurants in this town better than this place.

No idea why so many people like this place. Got a steak sandwich one time, and the meat was so tough. It's not that great. It's a massively overrated local joint.

Great place for burgers and beer.

Service is great 9 times out of 10. Clam chowder is the best in town. Drinks are affordable even when not on special.
(4)Sarah L.
Love that they offer craft beers from local breweries!!! Goes great with their burgers.

Go there on a Tuesday and order the nachos, enough said! Cheap and delicious, pizza special on Sunday equally as delicious and gyros are really good. Drinks are usually pretty weak but they have a good happy hour. Would avoid a side of mac and cheese it's equivalent to dried up box stuff. Service usually excellent as well!

Food. good. The lb of wings consists of ginormous roid injected chicken wings covered in a thick batter and franks red hot. I love the very spicy version especially if you get a side of it. That sauce is delicious. The nachos are loaded, 2 kinds of cheese, jalapenos, black olives, tomatoes and onions with salsa and sour cream on the side. The spinach dip was just so so. The beer is super cheap. A "small" for $2 and a "tall" for like 2.75? Their long islands are devilish... And who doesn't like a stuffed mounted deer and moose on the wall? Actually I don't approve but it suits the Sagnasty.

We celebrated an event here with around 20 on a Saturday night and the service and food was outstanding! We had a large group and our waitress was very attentive to everything which is no easy task with such a large group and all on separate checks. We will be back when in the area!

Always a go to place of mine but found out tonight the hard way they charge $8.50 for a 25 oz of craft beer and $6.50 for a 16 oz. I love my craft beers but not that much. I'll make the drive to bdubs or taproom to get better beer for half the price from now on. Hell I can go grab a 6 pack of Oberon for $9 at the corner store. I'll never go back.

Service is slow.... Always soooo packed and so loud. Food takes forever and very overpriced.

Went with the whitefish as suggested in another review. Ordered it grilled with the Cajun seasoning and not blackened. Whitefish is generally a mild "fishy" taste. Not this one. Very fishy and no Cajun spot flavor at all but you could see where the seasoning was added. For the price I paid, it was not worth it. I don't think I would return again.

Food was okay. Chipped my tooth on bone chips left in the chicken quesadillas. Let the waitress know and she just shrugged it off and said I'll bring your bill. Not even an apology. Last time I come here....
