The very definition of over-rated! Have been here a few times and never knocked my socks off. First mistake was ordering pad thai at a place when it's not a Thai restaurant. Adding lime and basil to a noodle dish drenched in soy sauce doesn't make it Thai. Truffle oil fries. Why would you give me a 1lb plate of fries as an appetizer? These things had so much salt on them. Dipping them in the aioli made them palatable, but I could eat a napkin if I covered it in aioli. Carrot ginger soup? Slightly-carrot flavored water. Coconut-quinoa salad? I'm sure quinoa drew people in, but this just didn't taste like anything at all. The falafels weren't a bad appetizer but they didn't really have any spice or crispness or crunchiness to the outside. Chicken sandwich...was a chicken sandwich. Not terrible but I could get this at Wally's or Applebee's for a few bucks less. The homemade mac and cheese was a little floury, I'm hoping an assistant or apprentice made the sauce, that's amateur stuff to get right. The servers are great but the cooks really need to start tasting the food before they send it out. Prices really aren't bad either. Nice setting and a unique place to go, but they need to step the food up few notches.

I have been there twice. First time was total disappointment. 2nd time was to try for redemption but the experience was not much better. The food was just ok. I personally found it to be extremely salty (and I love salt). But ok food can often be elevated by great atmosphere. Great, it was not. Both times it was very busy which is great for the owners but as a customer, trying to have a meal and share conversation with your dinner companion while elbow to elbow with diners on each side of you, crammed on the bench behind a table that is pushed in so close you have to be a hula expert to maneuver behind it and literally have to lean over the table toward eachother and SHOUT to hear one another over the cacophony of the other customers was enjoyable in no way whatsoever. Just walking into the place is jarring because of how incredibly LOUD it is in there. They need to either take out a few tables so people have more space or they need to expand into a larger location. Hanging some kind of drapes or something to reduce noise also seems like a good move. I think it is maybe a good take out option for people who work downtown and have limited food choices for lunch. But I dont work downtown and there are plenty of other great restaurants in the city near my house that I would go to over this one. As it stands now I probably wont be back unfortunately.

So many fries for an appetizer that it actually comes a crossed unappealing. I like salt, but WOAH! This was our second visit, meat was not cooked to order, still was decent, just dry. Eggplant soup was pretty good. Service is usually always good, especially from the taller of the gentlemen!! He is beyond on point! I am not a fan of the pew seating as it has a odd slope to it. I hope they start getting their food to come out tasting spectacular as I would love to see a place like this flourish.

So good! The kale and quinoa salad is amazing, and their fries are my favorite. They have options for vegans which is rare around this area. :)

Very very disappointed in the place. From the articles and comments I had truly expected better and did not get it. Went there and ordered the most expensive thing on the lunch menu, the fish tacos and what I got was 3 tacos with small pieces of Mahi Mahi that did not have much flavor, generic soft taco bread, slivers of red onion, couple pieces of diced tomato and a small amount of cabbage. The dish was desperately dying for a sauce too. The best thing was the cream of mushroom soup, but it had a canned feeling to it. I swear it came from can and then some onion was added. The owner was there and did not seem very friendly at all, no greeting from him whatsoever. He did talk to one table and only one table for some time and then went back to the kitchen. He also ignored arguably the most important and powerful person in town which I thought was curious. The interior is also very dour, needs art, something. I have tried some of his other dishes from other people who have eaten there and they were marginal at best. The chicken Cordon Bleu was better than my fish tacos but not by much. His poutine is just wrong, Canada is not far away, it shouldn't be that hard to replicate it properly. I read the articles and this guy's resume and could not for the life of me figure out why he would have to open such a small place in that location, but today those questions were answered. Another issue that really bothered me was the pricing. I had a menu at home from just a few weeks ago that someone had given me so I knew what the prices were or what they were supposed to be so I was a little shocked when I came in and every single item on the menu was priced higher than the original menu. If I recall the poutine went from $4 to $6, that's a 50% price hike in a few weeks.

I've been here twice for takeout, it's a fabulous restaurant that has exceeded my expectations. I really have few complaints. I have had the Bulgogi sandwich and the Chicken Cordon Bleu. The prices are a steal and I love how the menu changes week to week. It's definitely one of the better restaurants in the Saginaw area. There definitely are a lot of dishes that I want to try in the future. I might also want to add that some reviewers don't understand that this is a "farm-to-table" restaurant, and that he is trying to use fresh, local ingredients! Therefore, prices and menu items change from time to time!

A very cool and good local, owner operated bistro. Try the chicken tagine. Very Moroccan. The Michigan white bean salad was very fresh. We will be back. Sharp waitstaff and it was good to see the owner chef doing his great work.

Surprisingly good. I had the coq au vin and it was very good. It's very seldom that food around here is season appropriately and this place delivered. Just enough salt, just enough pepper. Owners are very polite and talkative. The donut dessert is a must have.

A diamond in the rough, the food is fantastic. Best salmon I've had in a long time. I can't wait to go back.

I rarely write reviews unless I can say alot of nice things, so I hesitated awhile to write my feeling on our visit.. First, the service was perfect/ the atmosphere, pleasant.. But as a hardcore foodie, I must say the execution needs some work. The menu is fine, the ideas are there, need a strong follow through.. The folks that own it are wonderful people who have put alot into making it nice. I think a few weeks at C.I.A would bring a good deal of improvement to the execution phase. I remain hopeful..

The entire staff at Bradley's is exceptional! The service was great and the food was delicious! I had the Bigos and it was rich and full of flavor. The Artichoke Kale Dip is to die for and I can't eat here without topping it all off with a home made sour cream doughnut for dessert. Bring your own bottle of wine and enjoy a delicious meal with friends in the heart of Saginaw. Make sure to come back often because their menu is always changing.

Amazing food; farm to table. The owners run the business. Classy and a great time. Ask for Marco, he's the best server!

Bradley's Bistro is an exciting addition to the restaurant scene in Saginaw. Friendly, intimate, unpretentious, and easy to find, this charming restaurant serves a variety of excellent dishes. I was there for lunch and had the Cordon Bleu sandwich with ice tea. Served with handmade fries, the meal was tasty without being overly spicy. This place just opened, but the restaurant was full for lunch, and I think word will spread about this tasteful, and friendly restaurant.

The owners are delightful to speak with. When is the last time the chef came out with your meal to speak with you? That's right, just in the movies and at Bradley's Bistro. The food was great as was the special doughnut at the end. Save room! The service is unlike anything else in Michigan. Give Bradley's a shot.

EXCELLENT!!! The food is farm fresh to the table! The potato leak soup is amazing! Mushroom strudel appetizer is phenomenal!! The Mahi Mahi is outstanding and the fresh veggie sides top off the dish with the perfect touch! Every bite of food bursts with flavour in your mouth! They even serve Faygo soda in the bottle! Top service, top foods from local farms! Now this is PURE MICHIGAN! The decor is fresh & very well put together. The flooring is even Michigan Birch wood. I cant say enough great things! Definitely my new go to place! Vegetarian options galore and noted on the menu as well as gluten free options!

We enjoyed everything - from the pork loin with caramelized onions and apple to the salmon over beets and fingerling potatoes. The salad greens and goat cheese were so fresh and delicious. Our kids were thrilled as well putting away an a la carte salmon fillet and "the best mac and cheese I've ever tasted." The chef beamed with pride as he saw our hungry, road-weary children devouring and loving each bite. Service was lovely as well. You can't go wrong here.

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Bradley's during the dinner hour. We were greeted by Josh, our server for the evening, and couldn't have felt for welcomed. I had been looking forward to the pastrami sandwich advertised on their Facebook page. I was not disappointed! My wife enjoyed her delicious pan-fried salmon filet on fettuccini with artichoke hearts. Everything was fresh and tasty. For dessert, you must try the maple-glazed donut with an apple chutney. Yum! Looking forward to trying more of the farm to table offerings in the near future! Well done, Chef Scott!

Great atmosphere, service, food, decor, curb appeal, etc. Several vegetarian and vegan friendly options. Entrees come with soup or salad, perfect portions! We tried and would recommend the poutine, Lisa's salad, the senate bean soup, the mac & cheese, and the fish tacos.

Bradley's Bistro was a wonderful surprise to us. We chose to eat there to celebrate our anniversary. My husband ordered the salmon and I ordered the quinoa salad. Both were very good. The artichoke and kale dip was an outstanding appetizer, but la piece de resistance was the sour cream doughnut for dessert! Our server was Alice who gave us spectacular service! Ask for her when you make reservations. They do not have a liquor license yet, however you can bring your own bottle of wine to enjoy. Alice does a fab job opening and serving it! I am looking forward to trying Bradley's for lunch soon.

An absolutely fantastic restaurant. You can truly tell how much the chef and owners care about the food and the restaurant. I had the pork loin which was fantastic. I would not normally order it, but the server recommended it. It was seasoned well and cooked to perfection. What I was surprisingly most wowed by was the small salad that came with the entree. It was a simple mixed green salad with blue cheese, roasted beets, and fried shallots. This is where the intention of the restaurant shined. You could easily buy cheap blue cheese and do other things to make the salad cheap, but they didn't. So, if they could be so proud of their salad, you can imagine how great the rest of their food is. The service was great and I love paying with Square. I am sad that I am from out of town, but I will be back regularly!

What a WONDERFUL, Delicious, and Unexpected dining experience! My boyfriend and I drove from Flint to try this place for the first time, and everything about it was amazing! The decor is simple but unique and lovely, and the food was so delicious! Very fresh and refreshing and vibrant flavors. We shared the Sweet Corn Poblano Hummus, we had the Chicken Tagine and "vegetable pasta" dish, can't recall the exact name. Our server, McKayla was attentive and personable, and the entire staff was professional and courteous. Definitely recommend this restaurant! :D

My husband and I are always looking for new and exciting places in the area to eat. We heard about Bradley ' s Bistro and decided to give it a try, on opening day no less. Our server, Josh, was very friendly, and willing to answer all of our questions. The food came out quickly and was delicious. The place is really cute, could use some more art on the walls, but we didn't go to a gallery. I sat on a church pew, with a nice view of an exposed brick wall. My husband had a plain wall to look at. All that said, what we were interested in is the food, and it didn't disappoint. We decided we were going to share everything so we could try as many things as possible. We started with the potato leek soup. It was delicious. Perfect for a day that started out a bit chilly. Next we got the poutin, and the mushroom strudel. They were both great! We moved on to the short rib and steak sandwiches. The flavors were perfect. Just when we thought we couldn't eat any more we went for a doughnut. It came with cranberry chutney. What a way to end a meal! We will definitely add this to our list of places we "must dine at" for Saginaw. -It wasn't on the way to where we needed to go but was definitely worth the trip. I can't wait to try their dinner menu. Lunch is rarely this good!

When we first pulled up, we were a locale concerned about the surrounding area. Plus, for blocks, the streets were almost deserted at 6:00 PM on a Tuesday evening. It's only a few blocks away the Dow Center, but, lucky for us, nothing was going on there. The interior was contemporary, cheerful, and inviting. Both servers were attentive, charming, and efficient. The chef and cook staff are great! We ordered a small mac & cheese as a starter. The recipe changes often. The sauce was very cheesy, creamy, and enhanced by the fresh asparagus bits. They only offer about 10 moderately priced, ever-changing entrees, but my wife and I wanted to try all of them. My wife loved the chicken tangine. It was slightly sweet, tender, and flavorful and came with very interesting sides. I ordered the flank steak, medium rare. It is served sliced and covered with a delicious chimichurri of parsley, cilantro, shallots, vinegar, and a touch of olive oil. The sides were cottage fried potatoes and fresh asparagus spears -- a wonderful combination. It was all very savory and tender. For dessert, the freshly made donut and fruit compote was a delightful to our meal. Although they don't have a liquor license, they encourage you to bring your own adult beverages and will gladly serve it with no corkage fee.

The food was amazing, service was spectacular. Its just simply all around a great place. Found my favorite restaurant in Saginaw!!

The farm to table concept that Bradley's provides is a pleasant surprise for the downtown Saginaw area. They bring an elevated experience that is a clear standout compared to the surroundings. Menu items change regularly as they are fresh and tailored to locally provided ingredients. The head server, Josh, is exceptionally professional and truly takes service to its full potential. Space and atmosphere would be the only area of improvement for Bradley's. It is styled and lit more for a lunch environment and could implement mood lighting with other elements to elevate the atmosphere in order to match the high quality menu items. Without a liquor license Bradley's gets bonus points for allowing its patrons to bring in their own beer and wine. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to friends in family and would definitely return again.
