Good but cost for minimum delivery option is too high

Food wise and price wise, it'll be hard to find too many spots better than this. The fact that they deliver helps me give them 5 stars. Without delivery, I would say it's a 4 star spot.

The food is good, but nothing special. Nice online ordering system, and they DELIVER. I honestly have never been in their location, but have gotten delivery several times. One time my chicken fried rice was just white rice when it showed up. Other than that I have had no problems, and frankly the rice snafu was not that big a deal. I keep ordering because it is decent Chinese food and delivered. Wich they had meat-stuffed Fried Wontons though....

This place delivers and it pretty cheap. That's really what keeps me coming back. The delivery usually takes an hour but that's fine just plan ahead. The food is pretty good most of the time and the portions are decent. I tried orange chicken today and was disappointed at how plain it was. I'm used to orange slices and some other stuff in it but this was just chicken and less sauce then I would like. I could barely taste orange. The fact that they deliver will bring me back but I'll order what I already know I like.

Tried again today, food was no better. Bland... Probably won't be going back again...

I love the online ordering. I literally ordered my food and within 15 minutes it was ready. I ordered the chicken lo mein and fried crab Rangoon. The chicken lo mein is delicious. The fried crab Rangoon is just that...FRIED. Wasn't very impressed but the lo mein is definitely something I would come back for. Overall I was satisfied and would come back.

Smh disappointed, my crab Rangoon was fried hard as idk what. My fried rice and shrimp egg foo young was just ugh. Not to mention I placed 2 orders online and got the confirmation for both and they only delivered one order. So I called about the second (seems they forgot to make one of the orders smh) so my second order was half assed delivered like the delivery guy literally came back and left the second order at the front desk of my job and then had someone from the restaurant call me to tell me he left my food in the lobby at my job never again!

So I was really excited to find a Chinese place that delivers. First time we ordered from here, we got a couple combos. I was disappointed to see they didn't come with egg rolls like they were supposed to. The food was a little better than average though, so we didn't complain too much. My combo was a battered bourbon chicken with fried rice. Chicken was good, rice was just so-so. The second time we ordered we got different combos and added two egg rolls. This time the combos did include egg rolls so we ended up with four. They were terrible. Tasted like soft stringy vegetables. Also the combos weren't good at all this time. For me it was the veggies that killed it. They tasted old and soggy. We wont be ordering from here again. The price is decent, but after tipping and paying the delivery charge it's the same price as Peiking House, which I absolutely love. So yeah, I guess I learned to not be lazy and just drive my butt to Peiking if I want good Chinese.

First time I was ever disappointed in a pad Thai. It was bland and the sauce was too thick. Tasted cheap and microwaved. It was nothing like the lemony spice I expected. Schezchaun chicken was good and very impressed with the egg rolls. The egg rolls were really thick with good flavor, not dry at all.

I stop by this place for carry out. After I ordered and paid, I thought I over paid by $4 or $5. So I ask the guy working there about the pricing, and that I thought I was over charged. He told me "we just raise price TODAY, and haven't changed it in the menu yet". Talk about STUPID business practices. So I get home and we all dig in. I wish I would have looked at yelp before stopping at China Town. The food was flavorless. Not one of us was the least bit impressed. We all ordered combo dinners, and the fried rice tasted more like white rice with soy sauce, totally bland. With so much competition in the area around this restaurant, God only knows how they stay open. Highly NOT recommending, I guarantee there are far better choices in the area.

This place delivers and that makes me a happy girl. The few times we have ordered delivery from here, they make it to us in under an hour. You can also order online which is great. The food is average Chinese fare. I do recommend the hot and spicy chicken and the pad thai. Both are greasy, spicy, and delicious. This is my go-to place when I'm a little tipsy on a Saturday night and jonesin' for some snackage.

Meh. We've been trying to find good Chinese delivery since we moved here. I'm convinced it doesn't exist. It seems no one even delivers, so when we finally found China Town, we decided to give it a try. We won't be trying it again. Nothing was bad, but nothing was really good either. We got egg drop soup, chicken and broccoli, and hunan chicken. The soup was probably the best part, but the wonton strips tasted light, greasy, and stale. The Hunan sauce had lots of flavor, but not the right flavor. It tasted nothing like Hunan I know. And the veggies included tasted bland, like they'd been steamed a few minutes too long. The husband was equally unimpressed with his chicken and broccoli. After coming from DC, where we had a go-to Chinese delivery, we're eager to find something, but China Town isn't it.

NOT GOOD. We ordered take-out and it was seriously the nastiest chinese food we've ever had. The portions were large, but nearly inedible.

We order delivery from China Town about once a month. The portions are huge, the food is fresh and tasty, and the prices are great. We usually get the dinner combo for two. It's $18.99 for two entrees, two egg rolls, a giant container of soup, and white rice. We usually have enough leftovers for two more meals. We will continue to order from them.

Do NOT ORDER DELIVERY FROM THIS PLACE! Two hours and still waiting for the dinner...Have called them twice so far and the lady keeps saying "they're on their way" ten more minutes...well guess what I don't think anyone is on their way!

Got delivery from China Town recently and used a $2 off coupon I had from their take-out menu I received in the mail. It's a nice menu because they so pictures for a lot of the items which I always find helpful. I went with a dinner special which was only $7.79 and came with Chicken Fried Rice and an egg roll. There are over 20 plates that can be ordered as the dinner special. They said 30-40 minutes for delivery but it probably took about 20. In summary, quick delivery, solid portions, solid prices. I wish I could give a 3.5 because I just think a 4/5 is too high for a Chinese take-out joint.

The almond chicken was ok, the gravy for it was super thick, like a paste. My husband said the beef broccoli was ok, but we agreed the rice and egg rolls were flavorless. I didn't even keep the rice for reheating. We like our Chinese take out and were excited to find a place that delivered. The search continues because we won't order from here again. To be fair, the delivery for us on a Sunday was about 1/2 hour, less then they said. Prices were fine.

China Town is becoming a weekly habit for our family. This is not your average Chinese take out food; it is authentic, always fresh, and delicious. We order take out most of the time, but delivery - for a $2 fee - is prompt (about 20 mins for 3-4 dishes) and friendly. Portions are generous; be sure there is room in the refrigerator for leftovers.

Nice that they deliver but none of the food was very good. My egg roll was literally dripping grease. The rice was hard and dry. The shrimp fried rice had exactly 2 shrimp and 1 shrimp shell. The pad thai and sesame chicken that I ordered tasted pretty much exactly the same.

I usually order Chinese takeout from Mui's in Clawson, but decided to give China Town a try since I hadn't done so yet and it's so closeby. I ordered the Almond Chicken and paid nearly $7 for a pint. (A pint of the same from Mui's is only around $5!) The chicken itself was good -- pretty much what you would expect. However, the sauce was absolutely disgusting! It was not at all what I expected. It was like a cross between chicken and beef gravy. I mean GRAVY...like you would find in an American restaurant on American food like roast beef and mashed potatoes...NOT at all like the sauce or "gravy" that normally comes with Chinese food. It was so disgusting, I threw it away and just ate the chicken with the rice. I had some sweet and sour sauce in my fridge, so I warmed that up and used it for some flavor. I only ate about 1/3 of the pint and ended up tossing the rest. Yuck!!! I'm sticking with Mui's from now on.

My friends and I were really wanting Chinese, but the weather was cold and rainy, and venturing out to find a Chinese restaurant that was still open at 9:00 did not sound very fun. We tried to find a place near-by that delivered (without going through a third-party service) and we found their website. Perfect! We tried placing the order online, but the website was acting up, so we ended up phoning it in (which wasn't a big issue to us). The order took about 30 minutes or so which I thought was pretty fast, given the amount of food we ordered. Portions were much larger than I expected, and we had plenty of leftovers. The food itself was tasty, and fresh. The wontons in the soup had a good chew to it, (not soggy like some places), the crab rangoon was still crispy, and our rice was not dried out in the least bit. The way they packaged the food too prevented any leaks or spills, which can be an issue with other food delivery. I was extremely impressed with this place, and I plan to order from them more often.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
