Definitely the best take out gluten-free pizza I've had. It felt too good to be true. Their online ordering needs some updating. It's difficult to know where to find the gluten-free option. Also you can't add/subtract ingredients form specialty pizzas.

I absolutely loved the pizza I ordered from here! The girl who took my delivery order on the phone was very accommodating and helpful. We wanted a big bennie sized pizza, but we wanted it of the specialty variety. They hadn't done that before but she worked it out and gave us a coupon too! The delivery was fast and the driver was a pretty cool kid. Without having to call my phone he walked the pizza around the back to the deck where he heard us partying (intuitive AF). We ordered the BLT pizza and a large greek salad. Both were delicious and super fresh! You know you've gotten fast delivery service when the the lettuce is still crisp on top of your hot BLT pizza by the time it gets to you. We will definitely be ordering from these guys again.

benitos is my trusty pizza place when i can't decide what kind of pizza i want. the toppings are consistently fresh, and loaded at every location i've tried. try their benito bread or their cajun crust on their pizzas! yum!

They lost power the day I ordered. Will have to try again soon.

Pizza was average compared to other restaurants in Royal Oak. This is a place to pick up carry out from. Prepare the pizza very quickly and didn't have any other complaints otherwise

We've tried just about every pizza place within a ten-mile radius of our house, and Benito's is as good as it gets. Square or round, you can't go wrong. Their salads are fantastic, wings are perfect, and their breadsticks are superb as well -- try the feta ones! I also appreciate how friendly and courteous they are every time we pick up. No jerks here! No jerks and good pizza, I tell ya. What could be better?

Ordered Pizza one night for delivery, pizza was "detroit style" which is a deep dish and square, was a little greasy for me, but better than papa johns or other national chains.

It's just pizza nothing exciting. Not bad but not great needs more sauce and cheese.it kinda reminded me of pizza I had in high school at lunchtime.

Tried it for the first time and was completely underwhelmed. To be honest, it reminded me of Little Caesar's Hot & Ready. Skimpy on the toppings, almost no sauce, very little cheese. They even forgot the flavoring on the crust. Called and told the manager about our experience and he could not have cared less. Horrible pizza and a waste of $.

Decided to try Benito's deep dish one night and have to say, it was really good and not greasy for a deep dish. We'll definitely be back.

I cannot fathom why this place has such great reviews. I work across the street and because they have a ridiculously huge $20 pizza, it's ordered for pretty much every potluck we ever have. That'd be awesome...if the pizza wasn't awful. It is, hands down, the worst pizza I've ever had. Quantity does not equal quality. Their crust is pathetic, really chewy, and hardly baked the way "thin" crust should be. The pizza is dry and pretty flavorless...and the consistency of the bottom crust is just...ugh. It's just a floppy piece of cardboard with some pepperoni on it, in my opinion.

Ordered the thin crust pizza...very good will definitely be ordering from here again. Sometimes I worry about the thin crust having no flavor, but this was just perfect. Fast delivery.

Been getting tired of the Detroit Style and had a taste for a good NY Style Pie. Not gonna get to Long Island this year so I decided to try Benito's. Got the Big Benito with Pepperoni, Ham and Mild Peppers. Not a bad pie. But not really a true NY Style Thin Crust. Guess I'll have to ask if they do it thinner next time. Otherwise a nice change of pace from the heavy dough Detroit Styles.

I was totally not impressed. At all. Like, I was really disappointed. I ordered a thin crust cheese pizza (because that is my favorite thing - a GOOD cheese pizza) and it was terrible. The crust is pressed and formed - I know this because of the exact circular, machine-cut size; no hand-tossing here. The sauce was just blah, the cheese was just blah, and it was really just lame. I also ordered a regular round pizza, too, with sausage, green peppers and onion - totally bland and there was about 10 pieces of sausage on the whole medium pizza. I totally won't be back, it wasn't terrible, but Green Lantern is at least hand-tossed with ample toppings. LAME.

Let's go ahead and discuss the beauty of Benito's Pizza. There is something about their plain cheese pizza that drives me wild. It's gooey, thick, and tasty. The cheese God's truly shine their light down on Benitos. It pairs perfectly with the fresh sauce they put underneath (and the perfect amount!) I suggest a medium cheese thin crust pizza, trust me, you won't regret it. Another great thing about Benito's: The Big Benito. This thing is huge! (I included a picture) One slice is honestly as big as my head, but this doesn't lessen the quality at all. Each slice is packed with ingredients, and is truly fun to eat (and watch others try to eat). One more great thing about Benito's: Their sub sandwiches. Last night I tried the steak and cheese and was instantly hooked. The bread is perfectly toasted, and in between, tasty ingredients rest comfortably. Cheesy, meaty, also filled with sauce and peppers. Highly recommended. The staff is always friendly here, and they deliver a pie in lightning speed. I can't wait to try other options from here. Every once in a while they send out some great coupons!

Best Tasting I've found. I've tried 8 other joints around the Royal Oak/Clawson area and like Benito's the best. Their pizza just has a fresh taste to it. The people have always been very friendly as well, Love Benito's.

I want to give huge props to this Benito's Pizza restaurant. I was at a concert at the royal oak music theatre in April. It was general admission so I was waiting outside in line and I couldn't get out if line to go get food. Solution? Pizza delivery. We called Benito's and they were really nice about our unique delivery request. We ordered two big Benito pizzas which came out to around $51. When the pizzas arrived they were huge, warm, and delicious. If you're looking for a pizza delivery place, this is your place.

Arrival time : 1pm Parking lot : Very clean but small Interior : clean with a couple of tables Staff : 1 guy, I think it was the manager or owner, very friendly Pizza : small deep dish with 3 items $8 and some change ( coupon price , I think ) Pepperoni, bacon, sausage. Cant find thick chunks of sausage like this anywhere that Iv ever seen , very flavorful, peperoni and bacon very good, cheese amount was OK. could have used maybe a little more sauce. the crust was crunchy and good. I will definitely return. Maybe try the thin crust next time.

We had the "Big Benito" tonight to feed our Christmas decorating crew. It's a freaking HUGE pizza with one topping for 21 bucks. Each slice is a foot long. The pizza was generously topped with cheese and pepperoni on a (shall I say... Detroit style?) hand tossed crust. It was cooked perfectly and the whole group devoured it. I've also been treated to the Feta Benito Bread which was rich and delicious. The feta added a great spike of flavor to this super cheesy carb festival. It was great pizza... but not "blow my freaking mind" pizza. Judging from Dave S. review, I'll order it well done next time. And if you have a big group, instead of defaulting to Little "Pleasers", go for the Big Benito. The few extra bucks will be worth it.

OH NO. I think they had a bad fire here. Just drove by today though and the windows were all black...the doors opened...I took a peak as I drove by and the chairs looked charred. Poor Benito's! Our work regularly orders the Big Benito from here on late nights to bribe us. It's pretty dang tasty but in no way healthy. Guess we won't be having any yummy late night Benito's any time soon. :-/

Favorite place to get pie from. For all of you in the RO area, Benito's 12 and Rochester is eyeing a late fall comeback after their fire in the Spring. When you order your pie make sure you ask for it well done...it will come out with a little extra crisp that makes it muy bueno. Also, their Italian Sub is great. It's so solid I haven't been able to bring myself to try a different one with fear of being let down. I can also vouch highly for the calzones, Benito bread and garlic butter dipping sauce.

Yuk! I got a pizza here yesterday, and I paid $2 for the garlic cheese dip that they did not give me, and there was hair baked into the cheese on all over the pizza....never again!

We were visiting family who are die-hard Benitos fans and after getting an order delivered, we can see why! The BLT Pizza was out of this world! I've never had anything like it: flavorful and fresh... The crust was just perfect. Lots of cheesy bacon mixed with the fresh romaine and tomato produce an extraordinary pie. The Benito Bread was super cheesy with lots of garlic flavor and was absolutely delicious. The Garlic Parmesan wings were fantastic... The sauce was really incredible. We also tried a steak and cheese calzone which was pretty good but could have used a little more flavor. Our order was delivered fast with friendly service. Everything was still hot and fresh, just like it came out of the oven. Check their website before ordering because they have some great coupons and good deals on combos. Overall, we were really impressed with Benitos and will surely be ordering from them again in the future!
