After many positive experiences with Wok to You in the past. I will never ever deal with this business again except for my kids to use the credit coming to me if that is even the truth. I placed my order. It was repeated back to me and was correct. It consisted of 1 spring roll, one egg roll, 1 quart of wonton soup, 1 quart of General Tao's chicken extra spicy, 1 quart of beef and broccoli and 1 quart of garlic broccoli extra spicy from China Wok. Sure I ordered at 750pm and they said an hour and ten minute time. That's ok I get that. So right on time my food came. I signed the bill and the driver was great. Now the problem starts. I have 2 pints of beef with broccoli not a quart, not really a problem and didn't make a complaint about that. But I did not receive the garlic broccoli. So I called back. The gal (not Ashly who initially took my order who was great) reads my order back. I did not order 2 quarts of beef with broccoli. She placed me on hold and then Curtis comes on board and proceeds to tell me that they read back the orders and " it must have been an understanding by me" in the most condescending tone ever!! I asked him why he has an attitude and he tells me to quit interrupting him or this will not get resolved and " do I want to resolve this?" Mind you I asked for his name and he would not give it to me until the end of the first conversation with him. I said resolve it so what I have is a credit supposedly for the next time I order. He then told me his name was I satisfied and hung up on me before I could answer. I called back. Sat on hold and finally Curtis answered. How convenient. He see's all my info not so fair. I attempted to explain to him that I am in the customer service business (RN) and if I spoke to people the way he did I would be in big trouble. His response was I kept interrupting him with an attitude. Really? I'm still in shock. So do yourself a favor skip this business you don't need to be treated this way!!! Also he states he was the manager because I asked to speak with one. Guess what Curtis I will stop buy your business on Gratiot and ask to speak to a manager this week! I hope you were not lying!!!!

Tonight was my last time doing business with this place. I have placed several orders with this place and they never gotten my order right! I am always paying for my pop, eggrolls an extra entre or two that don't arrive. I kept getting credits on my account with every order for missing items that I paid for but never received. However, the credits "apparently fall off" after some time. Tonight, once again, my quart of eggdrop and eggrolls were missing. I asked for a credit on my credit card instead. At first I was told that they couldn't do that and they could only give me a credit. Finally, I got to get them to give me a credit on my card. They didn't even want to hear I was unhappy with the complete order. FYI... The drivers do not check to see that they receive the entire order when they pick it up. THen hands the order to you all sealed up and requests your signature and then quickly drives off when he receives your signature. Farewell Wok2you...great concept.. very bad customer service. By the way... the food from Golden Harvest sucks and is overpriced. What a lousy experience. They will be receiving a review next.

We order through Wok to You a lot at work. Its a great service and super convenient. The people answering the phone are always super nice and make sure to get our order just right. You can even pay with a credit card over the phone. Food is always hot when delivered. This is such a cool service!

Wok To You is a great company. I ordered last week from Bangkok Cuisine and everything was perfect and the food was great. I think people have to realize that the delivery people are somewhat dependent on the restaurant and the weather. If the restaurant is mobbed, the delivery will be a little late. But they use those things that Dominos use to keep the order hot so it's really not applicable. The weather is also important. When I tried to order on one of the Snowmageddon days, they said it would take longer than usual so I didn't order. I also just found out they allow timed orders so if I want food at 6 PM I can order at 2 or 3 in the afternoon. Cool idea!!!

Horrible customer service on top of it taking close to two hours to get our food. I paid 4$ for what? To be talked down to wait far too long for food. I know it was not the restaurant either, every time I have ordered from there it only took 15 minutes for the food to be ready. I will not be ordering from here again anytime soon.

Great concept- delivery Chinese? Definitely will pay 3 dollar for that!!! BUT- when I called, a young lady answered and my situation just went down hill from there. From the moment she answered the phone, she sounded like she hated her job and I was bugging her by calling. She was short with me, sighed on the phone repeatedly, and put me on hold....without telling me. It took her over 12 minutes to order my food, which wasnt complex - Almond Chicken, Veggie Lo mein w/o mushroom, and Won Ton Soup! She fought with me that my address was incorrect...I live in a house, not an apt, so I didnt understand the problem.... Next time, I think I will save myself the 3 buck and make my lazy bum go get it myself!

DOES NOT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR, BUT IN ORDER TO LEAVE A COMMENT YOU NEED TO AT LEAST PUT ONE. I ordered and they said ABOUT an hour, well I called and he said they were super busy and it ended up taking hour and twenty minuets. So I called and told them I would not be paying for something that is cold. To forget it. The manager called me back from 586- four four five 0109 and I told him I was not ordering from there again, and he said HIS WORDS "Your not ordering from here again dumb ass" then hung up on me. So I then called back to get that managers name to make a complaint with the owner DAVID M. Well I got another guy that decided to get loud and say "your done" and hung up. Very unprofessional! I will be visiting the location this week and demanding to see and speak to the owner! If for any reason he (owner) sees this and would like to contact me. I am the female who ordered at 5:00pm on Saturday December 7th from Mai Thai. Paid Thai no, peanut no sprout, extra lime, chicken, medium. The delivery guy got to my house at 6:20 and that is the time I spoke with the rude male manager then the rude employee "of the month"

Wok to You is the best idea ever conceived! Wok to You is like an aggregate of Chinese restaurants; they are connected to 25 Chinese and Thai restaurants on the east side - you can order whatever you like from any of these, and within an hour Wok to You delivers it! Some of the place they deliver for are better than others. I'd suggest getting food from Thai Orchid or Mayflower. They have really great menus. Honestly, this was a great idea. It only costs $3 to get food delivered... and what with all the choices of restaurants, it's like a giant Chinese and Thai place with hundreds of dishes to choose from.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
