I ordered the bone in ribeye (med rare) with sweet potato and corn. Bread basket was good hot rolls with a cinnamon butter. My server was great he checked on me periodically refilled my sweet tea before my current glass empty. Steak was cooked perfectly no steak sauce required, Sides was good too. Only negative comments I could make from my visit is - I was sitting at the entryway for servers and witnessed a manager(male) giving a server a back rub ( totally uncalled for and that's sexual harassment ) also saw many other servers on their phones in the entryway. In all dinner was great but the view ( the management / personal issues need a little work )

We check in one third of our visits here. I want to like this STEAK house, I do. The waitresses all know us. They are friendly and on their game. I love the house salads but it ends there. I thought I figured out the grill cooks system, order medium rare and it comes medium about 85% of the time anyway. The other 15% it is well done. So this visit, which was complimentary due to 3 raw salmon dinners on a previous visits, I order a medium 12oz. Rib eye. Why was I surprised when it came out well done? So I'm beyond disappointed. 5 STAR WAITRESS, 5 STAR FLOOR MANAGER, 3 star for a nice salad and baked potato, ZERO for the grill cook... for the 7 steaks thrown out tonight that were overcooked on a slow night. The kitchen manager was off but take heed, don't leave a new cook or a bad cook on your grill. I've lost my patience with this location which has zero consistency for steak. I'm not looking for free food just a night off from cooking dinner. I come for steak which should never be well done even when asked for.

OMG! The food here was amazing. I got the chicken breast with the pulled pork. It was so so good. This place was crazy busy but the staff was still friendly and looked to have it under control. All the food that came out for the other table look tasty, which is always a good sign. The drinks looked good. The portions were more than we could even eat, so l had to take box home. The parking lot was full and even with that we didn't have to wait to be seated. I wouldn't definitely say go back cause I plan on it!

The first time I give it that low of a rate I used to go to the one in mound but since I don't live by there I go to this one. The first time was fine but the second time was just so bad the waitress only came to my table to get our order drinks and bring us it and the bill didn't even ask if our steaks were cooked right which mine was dry! Waited like 10 minutes thinking she will come back nope never did then couldn't get the manager over! Also my salad I wanted extra ranch and she didn't give me that! She acted like she didn't want to be there The last time I was there they have us a free meal for what happened before that was okay just hope to see then improve next time I go

Service was not good to say the least. Our waitress was not that friendly and forgot at least 2 things from our orders. And wasn't happy when we sent it back or asked for a forgotten item. My friend didn't even eat because at that point they had messed up his burger so much it wasn't worth it to him. She didn't even apologize, or explain to us that she wasn't going to charge him- he just didn't get a bill. Seriously? And typically when something goes wrong a manager will come over to rectify things. Nope. I haven't experienced bad service here in the past but treat me bad one time and I will not go back.

Standard Texas Roadhouse. No better, no worse than any of the others I've eaten at. I get the same thing every time: Dallas rib eye cook medium with onions, mushrooms, and jack cheese on top. I love the rolls and cinnamon butter. The sweet potato with the caramel sauce and nuts is also very tasty. Texas Roadhouse is a casual, middle of the road priced steakhouse. If you want fancy then try Mr Paul's in Roseville. If you want a decent steak and decent service at a good value then Texas Roadhouse is your place.

First time visit today. I had bone in Rib Eye and Girl friend had Country fried sirloin. we both had large portions of everything. My steak, her gravy steak, the corn, mashed potatoes and the bread, all large portions. The Rib Eye was to, "Die for" Cooked perfect medium rare. Service was fantastic too. Usually when I ask for extra butter early on for my mashed potatoes later, it never arrives or I have to ask 2-3 more times to get it. Not here, came with the meal and made me happy. My corn was not hot but is was not cold either, that is the only thing I can comment on but it was delicious. If I had an issue (few degrees colder) I cold have sent it back for warm up, no need though. I really was impressed. I used to enjoy Long Horn Steakhouse a half mile north on Gratiot but it closed a few years ago. There is a Logans near by but that is a downgrade in meat quality compared to what Longhorn was. Now....Texas Roadhouse? Where does it compare? It was an upgrade to Longhorn and a super upgrade to Logans in my opinion. The Rib Eye was one of the best cuts I have had in awhile and the BBQ charred edges on it was a bonus! Good job Tex! We will be frequenting here much more in the future!

Food was typical for a cheap steak. Enough about the food let me share with you what was seen on our way out to the car..... Please sit down..... RATS. LARGE RATS running around the FRONT door in and out of the bushes. They did not appear to be scared of humans which makes me think they have been there for some time. Have they tunneled their way into the building? The trash receptacles are not near the front door. I nearly upchucked my food right then and there. Needless to say I wont be eating there again.

I'm not a big fan of chains, or franchises, but Texas Roadhouse is a pretty reliable standby restaurant if nothing else sounds good, or if everywhere else is too busy. I've honestly never had a bad experience here. The food is always well prepared, and the menu is relativity inexpensive. The one time my steak was overdone, the server immediately righted the wrong and got me a new one, just the way I wanted it. The service is also quite good. Nothing over the top, but I've never got the feeling that our server didn't want us there. They've always been fast, attentive and accommodating. We also always get checked up on by a manager of some sort (at least that's been my impression), so I've never felt like they don't care about my experience. One major thing that bugs me though is the happy birthday "song". It's completely unnecessary to interrupt everyone's meals by yelling "YYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-HAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWÂWWW". And you hear it at least two or three times during a weekend visit. Now, when I say this is a great fallback, I'm mainly referring to the steaks. There are a few other items that are worth getting, but the rest of the menu is rather unremarkable, especially the BBQ items. If you order BBQ, you'll likely be disappointed. Stick with the steak. The beer selection is also unremarkable, save for a Blue Moon or Sam Adam's tap or two. The beer is also served in a frosted mug, which is a huge no-no. Asking for non frosted glassware usually results in the server looking at me like I'm growing horns, but I guess that's how they do it in Texas? There are certainly far better steakhouses around, but for a quick bite that's more than reasonable, I don't see how you can't stop here. It really represents fairly good value.

You would think a steakhouse could cook a steak properly. BUT NO! And this is not the first time. I got a 20oz bone-in rib eye. I ordered it Medium. My brother got the same and ordered it Med-Rare. They both came rare to raw. We sent them back. They both came back well done. I was sooo angry, that was a $22 steak. Either they are hiring untrained cooks, or they are just in such a hurry they don't care.

Decent place for being a chain. Love the rolls and butter and the steaks are solid. I agree with the other posts that BBQ is not the best option here. Management walks around and is involved which is a plus. The servers seem to enjoy the work and are upbeat so no fear of experiencing something from the movie Waiting.

What: Cinnamon butter. Wow. Incredible, but lots of saturated fat. Although this place is a chain restaurant, tastes are fairly unique for mainstream. Not too unhealthy of a steakhouse also if you dine smart for that once in a while red meat fix. The atmosphere is fun and lively with an obviously country western feel. Expect short waits, pleasant waitstaff, and fresh cuts of meats. Oh, and their trademark peanut shells litter the floor. When: Dinner. Must: To maintain the suggested 4 oz of protein, try the 6 oz. filet, medium rare. Absolutely delicious with sauteed mushrooms and onions. For sides, the loaded sweet potato is beyond fantastic. However, avoid loaded unless you want the calories. Corn, salad, and rice are all good options. Prime rib is amazing with horseradish. The bbq ribs are very good if ordered with grilled shrimp. #RajivRecommends80% #DetroitCity #FoodReview #Chain

I hate this dump. In my opinion the only place worse than Texas Roadhouse is Brans, which serves dog food. Texas Roadhouse is absolutely incapable of making a medium rare steak, they just flat out can't do it. The outside is never charred, and the middle is always, ALWAYS over cooked. I'd rather eat at Logans, Longhorn, or Outback any day over this place. I won't even get into the last two experiences at this joint, but lets just say it was beyond ridiculous and all they offered me both times were a stupid business card for a free appetizer on my next visit. NO THANKS, I won't be going back...

Food was excellent, customer service and waitressing was phenomenal. I didn't have to wait for any refills and my food was fresh and served soon as it was plated. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Also great date night but beware if you have peanut allergies. There are nuts and shells all over the floor and peanuts at each table to give it that western experience.

Great steak for the price, staff always friendly and fast, and never had a problem here. I like the Sirloin, the chili is always a good bet, and the ribs have always been great. Bartenders are fun, and service is quick. Never have an empty glass. To the haters that would rather eat at Logans, go ahead. That joint has food dryer than a popcorn fart.Shoe-leather steaks you couldn't feed to a starving cannibal. Longhorns? Sure!... oh, wait, they CLOSED! Famous Daves across the street? Sure, if you like gristle and fat on meat. And seriously, if sitting within touching distance of another human makes you "awkward", don't ever go to Europe, because the vast majority of places there are stocked with long tables where everyone eats together... I'll keep going to TR, it's a good value for the $. It's not Mr Pauls...but a steak doesn't run $50 here either. As for the rats..well, a person from Detroit complaining about rats in Roseville is pretty funny! Kinda like a hillbilly complaining about people with an accent lol

Weekends are busy. There is a lot of activity here: movement in and out, wait staff bustling and even though it was busy there was no long wait to be seated. The food took some time but there was good conversation, peanuts, fresh rolls and sweet cinnamon butter to keep us busy. Free peanuts are cool and the ones they serve here have excellent flavor. I pondered as I was enjoying those peanuts though that this is a neat way for them to keep the blood sugar levels up of possible disgruntled customers... that and the fact they will never ever have to accommodate anyone who has a peanut allergy. The Food: I've been here before and it was a decent experience. The people I dined with had no complaints. I got a steak and rib combo with some chili. The steak was really good, juicy and had a nice grill flavor, I have to add though that the grill flavor tasted like a spice or additive that had grill flavor (kind of like the flame broiled flavor on a whopper) It was tasty though. With good steak you don't need sauce but Texas Roadhouse makes their own steak sauce, I tried it and really liked it. The ribs sucked though. The menu says they are blue ribbon or something, I've had them before and they were fine. This time they were overcooked, dry and probably the worst ribs I've had in years. Extra BBQ sauce did not help. The chili was ok with nice chunks of beef but it was luke warm. Both the ribs and chili might have been fixed or compensated for but with the busy night, the semi-long wait and a table not far from us already discussing an issue with the manager I did not care to wait for a fix nor would the people I was dining with care to wait for me. Might have been an off night for them but if I were to get ribs I would go to Famous Dave's across the street (even though they have not been up to par since they opened, *see my review on them) They are a hair away from a four star review. I would stick with the steak and you're more likely to have a 4 star experience. 3.5 Stars

I just returned from Texas, so naturally I would need to stop in at Texas Roadhouse while in Michigan. Actually, it was my dad's pick for a birthday lunch, and it was a good one. My sirloin was perfectly cooked to medium-rare and the loaded sweet potato was delicious. I still cannot get enough of the rolls at Texas Roadhouse. That must be why I always leave stuffed. Overall, a solid experience.

Eat like a king for $40 bucks, well with the margarita about $48. There is absolutely nothing to complain about with this place. The food is always consistent, the steaks are tasty, juicy and tender. My salad is always very cold and crisp. And you definitely can't go wrong with a loaded baked sweet potato, absolutely yummy. My tip for this place would be--Go belly up to the bar, watch football on TV n eat your dinner. I'm just as comfortable at the bar as I am in a booth. And the service is much much faster!

As it happens, I grew up in Oklahoma. I spent a few years in my young, free-wheeling youth in Dallas. So visiting Texas Roadhouse for me is somewhat like an Italian fellow visiting Olive Garden. I think, "This is okay, but I know what the real good stuff tastes like, and this isn't it. Not even close. In fact, this is all stuff I could be making at home. Why am I not making this at home? Seriously. Just a steak, my secret steak rub*. This just isn't special." So, yeah, the steak was good. I had it with the steak fries. The lovely Mrs. had the steak with the baked potato. Very good, but they weren't taking any chances and it wasn't going to win any awards. The one redeeming item they served was the cinnamon butter. Which I suspect is butter, cinnamon and sugar. It was top notch! I ate like seventeen of the very tasty rolls, just to sop up the butter, since I thought it would be in poor taste to eat the butter with a spoon.(As Mr. Google about Cinnamon Compound Butter. There's something else you could be making at home...) * My secret steak rub is Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning. I suppose it's no longer a secret.

The employees there were very attentive, and some were Nice, some not so nice. The food was good, had a good Waitress.thnk you. Over all we will back .

(5)Kayla M.
She acted like she didn't want to be there The last time I was there they have us a free meal for what happened before that was okay just hope to see then improve next time I go
(2)Cyndi J.
(2)Kimberly D.
(3)Robert M.

Yummmm. The food was great and such reasonably priced.

This is the last time I come here. Med rare steak was so dry it could have been hash Cesar salad had no taste. Only taste was the sweet potato. Service sucks they would rather stand around a table singing some version of happy birthday. Heaven help us.
(1)Alissa J.

The food is good here. Definitely a lot more consistent more a lot of restaurant chains. We love the bread and butter of course who doesn't? Always had nice waitstaff, never had any issues. Good place to eat.
(4)Irwin F.
(4)Kamran B.

(1)Sean Z.
(5)Mark R.
(4)Ron C.
Less than thrilled with my latest visit, I enjoy sitting at a table over a booth, so when one of the 6 hostesses sat us at a table, what used to be a section of 4 toppers, well they slid them all about 3-4 inches a part and now you basically share a 4 topper with another couple AWKWARD Texas Road house..nice knowing you...I'll spend $2- $3 more & have a better experience at Longhorns
(1)Tony S.

(4)Penny Z.
The cook was awesome. he even came out personally to see how we liked the steak. that was cool. unfortunately the waitress was an idiot and forgetful as ever.
(4)Tracie M.
(5)Justin L.
