A complete hidden treasure. Amazing food. Don't get throw off by the quiet atmosphere it is one of the best BBQ around. Make it a point to visit this place. You won't regret it

First time there. There's a pig and steer at the front entrance smoking away. Nice touch. Tried the combo, half ribs/half chicken. Not heavily smoked. Excellent. Just returned from Memphis and sampled some the their towns best Q joints (Central and Rendezvous). This place was way better. Like fried pickles? OMG. Beans and slaw were pretty darn good too. I'll be back..

So the boyfriend and I came here because we had both wanted BBQ for valentine's day and had no interest in going downtown or eating at a chain if we could help it. We found this place on Yelp and thought it would be a good choice since the reviews were good. When we pulled up we walked in and thought "this place is half bar half bbq." how interesting. There were some locals there of various ages which is nice to see. The place was clean, cute with a bar feel but also had a cute date spot feeling as well. The menu isn't huge, but seems to be on point with choices. Just about all the dishes that I noticed were averaging at about the $10 mark, which is awesome. I went with the BBQ Brisket Sandwich, and the BF went with the pork sandwich. The meal itself was more then enough food for the both of us, and I even had some leftovers when it was done. The meal also comes with a side, which I loved. I got the mac n cheese, but wasn't blown away with it. It was still good, but not overly impressive. The brisket was tasty! Soft, shredded and really good, it went down easy. BF loved his pork sandwich, and we loved it. Plus, you know what else sold us here? We both loved our server Linda. She really did an awesome job, and even shook our hands and wished us a happy valentine's day when we walked in. If your in the area, please go here for dinner, drinks or both. Even tho this place is out of the way for both of us, we were impressed with our experience here, and will be back in the future. This place is a hidden gem with all the fixings. I guess they have various specials as well, along with karaoke during the weekends as well. Part local bar, part dinner spot, you will see all kinds here. There was a table full of young couples, a middle aged guy drinking beer, and an older couple grabbing appetizers and drinks on a Saturday night. Overall excellent service as well. We will be back in the future!

If it was possible I would give this place no stars. The pickle I got on the side of my meal was the best part of my meal. I got a beef brisket, and pulled pork sandwich and both were very dry, bland and had no taste. I tried my buddy's ribs and the ribs were horrible; I could find better ribs out of a stouffer's box

Great local bar, no frills. More of a neighborhood bar now serving ribs and BBQ (which is very tasty, try the mac n cheese!). Never too crowded and the staff make you feel like a regular even if it's your first visit. Stonewood is a good choice to watch the game, play some keno, and have a beer (or in my case hard cider). Definitely try the BBQ!

I was really hoping to give this place a better review! I went in specifically for the pulled pork nachos but was disappointed. They were very bland, and had everything under the sun on them. We went in on Saturday night, the place was not very busy but the waitresses couldn't keep up. There was someone behind the bar, and someone on the floor. I'm honestly not sure who our waitress was because they kept rotating our table.

Delicious food!! Would recommend the ribs and Mac n cheese! Bartenders are friendly and really make the experience the best they can!

Will not come back again, that's a for sure! Came in thinking the place would be family friendly and a bright environment. COMPLETELY OPPOSITE!!!!! My boyfriend and I entered the restaurant and was not even greeted. The area was more of a pub than a restaurant. The setting is super dull and dark and had limited seating. We had to seat ourselves and the bartender was our waitress! She didn't even come to the table until 5-10 minutes of us just sitting. She was nice but the overall service was terrible. Don't get me started on the food! The food is cheap and that's what the food tasted like...CHEAP! We ordered wings, jalapeño poppers and a burger. The burger was bland and it taste like something you can make at home. The jalapeño poppers had a weird taste to them and was not good. The wings were ok not the best but on one of the wings a feather was still attached to it. Bad experience and bad food there! Will not be going back and I do not recommend anyone going there!

Solid BBQ choice, the house Stonewood BBQ sauce has a nice flavor to it ... not to sweet, not too spicy/vinegary. Had the ribs/chicken combo, you get half a chicken & a nice chunk of the ribs ... 5 bones or so, smoked to near perfection. Chili was how I like it, the red variety with beans, chunks of tomato, jalapeño, add onions & cheese. Summer is for potato salad which I opted for one of my dinner sides ... another excellent choice by moi, :) ... wash it all down with a couple of drafts & it's about as good as it gets. Two thumbs up!

My friend and I recently discovered this gem! We love it here! Stonewood has a very welcoming atmosphere. Establishment is clean. Staff is attentive and always a joy to talk with. Food is great! You must try a pulled pork sandwich and Mac and cheese! Delicious!

Ugh. I believe this is my first one star on Yelp. I had high expectations based on reviews, unsure if my review is due to it being Sunday night, but anyways.. Here it goes. Kelsi who answered the phone was super nice. Very pleasant. My wife and I both ordered the Western Sandwich ($9.99), sides of macaroni and cheese, and a corn muffin. First strike: tiny portions. For $9.99 the sandwich could be much larger and maybe a larger side portion. Check my picture, the sandwich was about 5.5" on a sub bun, with a pile of pulled pork and coleslaw (hardly any, if any, brisket as the description entails.. Don't quote me on that, I would have to re-check the menu). Coleslaw was delicious! Best part of the meal. Meat was SUPER DRY. I have yet (until today) met a smokehouse that didn't glob their homemade sauce on their meats. Mine and my wife's had zero sauce. Extremely disappointed. The macaroni and cheese, again a tiny portion, had no flavor. Greatly disappointed in that considering the overwhelmingly great reviews. Ours had no flavor. I had to use Sweet Baby Rays sauce on my Sandwich to even eat it. I did not finish the meal, no matter how small it was. My dog ate most of it, however (he loved it). Another negative: no plastic ware or napkins with a carry out meal. Even McDonald's gives you napkins and asks if you need any sauce. Just saying. We live right down the street and unfortunately will not return again. Our normal spot is closed on Sundays and appreciate their hours here of being open late on Sundays. Overall: - I will literally eat anything and would not ever even consider eating dry pulled pork. Food was below sub-par. -Prices are WAY too high for what you get. Way too high. We paid $23.00 for two small sandwiches with a tiny side and a corn muffin. Seriously. -No one should ever have to put sweet baby rays on delicate pulled pork. -I have food left over that I refuse to eat. I'm not picky, I just do not want to eat dry meat. -Cool pigs out front. Order for "Chelsea" around 5:00Pm, 4/26/15.

I tried this place for the first time. Its nat a real fancy place but sometimes that is what you want for a quick dinner. The ribs were awesome and the coleslaw was also excellent. The rib dinner comes with 2 side and corn bread for under $10. Very good service and the owner was also very concerned of our dinning experience. I wouls highly suggest trying the ribs if you like BBQ. I will be back soon.

Delicious food! We found this place by accident, but glad we did. We have eaten there, and had take out, food was great. The restaurant feels more like a bar, so that's why I can't give them five stars. They do make great drinks though!

Worst brisket sandwich. Brisket was broken bits and BBQ sauce wasn't anything special. Service good, food no goo

Absolutely a fantastic place to go!! The food was wonderful, but what really sets this place apart is the service! Gary, the owner, goes out of his way to come and talk to each and every group in the place. Not like other places where a manager may come up and do a quick "how is everything" and then walks away. It was our first time in the joint and Gary came up, shook our hands, chatted with us for a few minutes and came back to check on us/talk to us at least 4 times during our ~3 hours there. Our server Linda was also fantastic- as soon as you were done with a drink she was already there setting a new one down for you. It wasn't just this friendly interaction that made the service so great. When we arrived we were immediately told that they were out of ribs for about an hour and a half as they had an unexpected large party earlier in the day. "Not a problem", we said. Two of the three of us wanted the ribs so we said we would wait, drink some beer and eat an appetizer in the meantime. They were fantastic at keeping us informed of the status of the ribs. After about an hour we were told (with many apologies) that the ribs would be about another 40 minutes. We didn't mind and said we would wait (there was beer to drink!). About a half hour later Linda told us it was going to be another hour or so and apologized immensely. We decided at that point that we would just order something else off of the menu, we honestly did not mind- it was our choice to wait for the ribs to begin with, we were in good company enjoying a Saturday night and they did such a great job of keeping us informed of the status of the ribs. You could tell they sincerely felt bad. Gary went ABOVE AND BEYOND to compensate us, which was truly not necessary. The food we ordered (pulled pork, brisket, and pulled chicken) were all fantastic. If you're contemplating where to go for some great BBQ, go to Stonewood! Amazing food, FANTASTIC service, and a great atmosphere. They have gained our loyalty for life.

Went to dinner with some friends last night I had my favorite rib /chicken combo the chicken is so juicy and the ribs just melt in your mouth yummm, my friend had the fish with their homemade mac n cheese and it looked fabulous ,they only serve fish on Fridays so I guess that's what I'm having next Friday. Don't second guess just go there it's great .

Stonewood Lounge - Where a full set of teeth is not necessary. My friends and I occasionally come here on Saturdays for karaoke. We're not sure why we come here. Probably the "atmosphere." Stonewood is a definite dive bar. It's small, the service is tepid and the beers are plentiful. My favorite part of these place is the people in it. Most of the dudes in here are missing most of their teeth and happen to love everyone in their general vicinity. I karaoked "Fly Me To The Moon", after which I was regaled about how well written the song was by a man who had a beard down to his belly button. Awesome. It is quite difficult on a busy night to get a beer on a busy night, there only seems to be a few people working the bar. They have pretty decent bar food, though. I certainly wouldn't see myself as a regular here, but for a different venue, this place is a fun night.
