Small corner bar with a local crowd. We've always gotten good service here and some good food as well. Nice small place to stop after work for a burger and a beer. They have a DJ on some nights so if loud music is not your thing you may want to check in advance to see if they're having entertainment.

Gratiot is full of bars. I've passed by Eastgate a million times, and only been in a few: once when it had the old storefront (it looked like a dentist's office, with no sign, and just a small window with a neon BAR sign) and again with the totally remodeled front and inside. But fortunately, the changes in the front and the inside really made the place more comfortable, and less like a place that UAW workers go to pass out after work. (when they are working and not striking, that is.) They gutted the front and put in floor (food). Now, I'm TOLD that Eastgate serves food; when we ordered our drinks, they had whole areas of the back counter dedicated to food preparation (including a large food box, the kind with the glass sides and red lights to keep food hot enough to eat). I ordered drinks and asked about the food: NO FOOD I was told. I was seriously looking behind at all the food prep-ish things while the bartender was talking... and I must have had a sour look on my face. She didn't come down to me again. Ah well. So I'd recommend going to Eastgate just because it's a very strange place (like, time-warp strange) but not a place I'd become a regular, or stop to get food. Apparently they have a dj some nights (awesome), but they also have frat-boy Olympics (beer-pong not so awesome). You decide which is better!

The BEST BAR FOOD IN THE ROSEVILLE/EASTPOINTE/SCS AREA. GREAT drink specials, lunch is the best!!!! I defy you to find a better burger, or buffalo chicken quesadilla!

Great place and great owners. Worked for these guys and they were amazing bosses! Kind, easy to please, and nice to work for/with.

A fun dive bar in the heart of Roseville. Went up on Taco Tuesday for $1 tacos and an Angry Orchard. The bartender was nice and they have keno. The people up there are friendly and make you feel welcome. Not a bad place to eat and drink cheap.

The burgers are great, the beer is cold and varied in selection, and so you're good on both of those fronts. Definitely a divey-style place, even with the remodeling that's happened. It's a great place to hop into for a few drinks or even some food if you're in the area, but it's not like I would make it a destination for the evening or anything.

This place was a classic Roseville corner bar. If you like dives, it was like Mecca. The last decade has seen it totally remodeled, modernized, and has acquired a new set of regulars. I dont care for it at all. Its loud, has karaoke, and Im generally rubbing elbows with people whom I would have rather forgotten after graduation. I guess I prefer a place where the clients are a little sadder, quieter, and generally respectful. If you are looking for a fistfight, this is definitely a place to find one. It has an incredibly spacious parking lot.

Waitress, was well, not that much of one. Cheeseburger was good & the beers were cold. They have alot of specials most nights. $2 any drink Thursdays. Its clean for the most part insude however someone, I think, literally pooped their pants because it smelled like shiznit. Horrible. Thankfully, we were done eating by that time.
