I order from this place quite often. They are certainely a notch above most local pizza pieces when it comes to quality of food. The pies they sell arent generic, and actually are quite amazing, with a great, unique dough and good toppings. They are not as pricey as some of the other reviews may say, as they do offer coupons and special deals for customers who sign up for their VIP program. This place is definitely my first choice when I want a quality pie delivered.

This place is friggin stellar. I ordered the square crust pizza with mushrooms and ham, and was not disappointed. Not only is this place well decorated, but the people are polite and service is actually pretty quick. In true Detroit pizza style, the sauce was on the top of the pizza and not under the cheese as one might expect. The toppings were dense, fresh, and of good quality as was the cheese. The sauce had great flavor, and the crust was nice and crunchy without being terribly greasy. (Also, it didn't get soggy or greasy in our take out box) They also had other Michigan made products like potato chips from Traverse City, and some pop made in Detroit. The menu was varied, included gluten free, and they even have dessert pizza and salads. I'd say this is a total win.

Detroit pizza at its best!!! Plus they sell Detroit-made Faygo and Towne Club refreshments and Great Lakes chips made in Traverse City! The ambience is comfortable and Detroit-themed with original artwork; and they even h. I love this place!

One of the perks of running estate sales as a side job, is I find myself planted in different cities, for short periods of time. This sale had me planted in the heart of St. Clair Shores.... 13mile and Harper. I always make it a point to try some pizza when in the area as well. This time was Detroit Style Pizza Company. I had the Hawaiian Vacation Pizza which consisted of ham, pineapple, bacon, and red onion....I had them put extra sauce on it too...ordered a large which had 8 square pieces. First...they just plopped the extra sauce right on top of each slice ehhhNNHHHH!!!(loud alarm, buzzer, gong, jarring noise) ??? Did they forget to put it under the cheese? Cuz that's what it seemed like...and it totally fizzled out the presence of any other topping on this pie...had I known this is how they would add the extra sauce, I would've nixed it for sure.. So...my pizza was just okay...kind of expensive ($18 for a large!!) and my pizza was burnt on the edges...which is okay...it's not the worst thing, but it's also not my favorite... I know you people out there who all like the "corners" and the "crusts"...that's just not me...gimme a pizza with no corners or crusts...oh yeah...it's a round..hehe. Ordered a salad too..large Greek...it was okay...it too was expensive... My whole bill was nearly $40 ($45 once delivery tip was added) and it fed around 2.5 people... That's a lot of money....for pizza! Eh...I'd try other places in the area before heading back to DSPC!

Didn't really care for this place. Had very high expectations and it was exciting to have a new place to try. It was quite pricey for what you got and I didn't care much for the pizza. Mine had too much sauce on it and wasn't great. I tried some of the other pizza that was ordered and wasn't impressed with theirs either. I wanted to like it but, not very good.

I tried this pizza today myself was not very impressed I ordered two small cheese pepperoni and 1 small deluxe the bill was over $26 dollars somehow for three 4 sliced pizzas but the kids did like the pepperoni and cheese pizza because they do not like pepperoni's luckily there were not many on it lots of sauce though and the deluxe as under cooked I do not believe I will be returning anytime soon unfortunately because the theme and decor inside are very cool

I think might have a new pizza place! Every bit as good as Buddy's and Nikki's in Greektown. This is the third location and has a little sit down area with black and whit checked tablecloths. Only pop, no beer and wine unfortunately. But that's ok, the amazing pizza makes up for the lack of booze.

We've been wanting to try this pizza for some time and when I saw a Groupon for it I finally got to try it. I'm a huge fan of Cloverleaf pizza in Eastpointe and this pizza looked similar. That's where the similarities stopped... Although the dough was light and fluffy and the pizza was cooked well it just didn't taste all that great. We also were offered the bread sticks with the Groupon offer and those were a tad on the greasy side. Nobody likes dry bread sticks but these were a little too greasy for me. Overall for what I paid for it with the Groupon it was OK. But what it would have cost at full price it was not worth the money. I don't mind spending the money if the food is that good we were just very disappointed.

What a terrible experience. The pizza has potential however this one was very dense. I could tell it was not proofed correctly. They did put a fair amount of cheese on though. The onions in the picture are these thin sliced purple onions which i happen to love, but on my pizza I received giant chunks of onions. I love hard crunchy pizza but when it is not proofed correctly its just gross. The cheese bread also had potential if it was not under cooked. Gooey dough in the middle doesn't go well with my family and I. The salad was one of the worst I have ever had. I ordered a small antipasto. It had a bunch of beet juice on it because they gentlemen making the salads made Greek salad before mine and didn't wash their hands. The meat and cheese in the salad was slimy. I was honestly very excited to try this place, From the pictures this pizza looks gourmet and delicious. Truth be told, they need some major improvements just to be a par pizzeria. I would not recommend anyone here and in fact I would probably steer them away from this place. I know this may have been just a bad experience but I ordered 3 things so I could try different items. I am not trying this place again on my dollar that's for sure.
